We first establish the Morse decomposition theory of periodic invariant sets for non-autonomous periodic general dynamical systems (set-valued dynamical systems). Then we discuss the stability of Morse decompositions of periodic uniform forward attractors. We also apply the abstract results to non-autonomous periodic differential inclusions with only upper semi-continuous right-hand side. We show that Morse decompositions are robust with respect to both internal and external perturbations (upper semi-continuity of Morse sets). Finally as an application we study the effect of small time delays to asymptotic behavior of control systems from the point of view of Morse decompositions.  相似文献

We give a criterion for the global attractivity of a positive equilibrium of n-dimensional non-autonomous Lotka-Volterra systems with distributed delays. For a class of autonomous Lotka-Volterra systems, we show that such a criterion is sharp, in the sense that it provides necessary and sufficient conditions for the global asymptotic stability independently of the choice of the delay functions. The global attractivity of positive equilibria is established by imposing a diagonal dominance of the instantaneous negative feedback terms, and relies on auxiliary results showing the boundedness of all positive solutions. The paper improves and generalizes known results in the literature, namely by considering systems with distributed delays rather than discrete delays.  相似文献

This paper describes a general spectral element approach to study the stability of multiple time delay systems (MTDS). We show, for the first time, how this approach can be applied to periodic MTDS where the delays and the period are incommensurate. In contrast to prior works on MTDS, the spectral element approach is applicable to both autonomous as well as non-autonomous MTDS. Both MTDS of first order or higher can be obtained and systems with or without damping can be investigated. Since the spectral element approach uses efficient interpolation and a set of well-distributed interpolation points, the size of the matrices necessary for convergence is kept small. Further, since the spectral element approach is a semi-analytical procedure, it avoids the need to use tedious time marching algorithms to explore the stability behavior of the system.  相似文献

A non-autonomous Lotka–Volterra competition system with infinite delays and feedback control and without dominating instantaneous negative feedback is investigated. In this paper, we investigate the global convergence of solutions of non-autonomous Hopfield neural network models with discrete time-varying delays, infinite distributed delays, and possible unbounded coefficient functions. Instead of using Lyapunov functionals, we explore intrinsic features between the non-autonomous systems and their asymptotic systems to ensure the boundedness and global convergence of the solutions of the studied models. Our results are new and complement known results in the literature. The theoretical analysis is illustrated with some examples and numerical simulations.  相似文献

In this paper, the sensitivity for non-autonomous discrete systems is investigated. First of all, two sufficient conditions of sensitivity for general non-autonomous dynamical systems are presented. At the same time, one stronger form of sensitivity, that is, cofinite sensitivity, is introduced for non-autonomous systems. Two sufficient conditions of cofinite sensitivity for general non-autonomous dynamical systems are presented. We generalized the result of sensitivity and strong sensitivity for autonomous discrete systems to general non-autonomous discrete systems, and the conditions in this paper are weaker than the correlated conditions of autonomous discrete systems.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate the synchronization of non-autonomous chaotic systems with time-varying delay via delayed feedback control. Using a combination of Riccati differential equation approach, Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional, inequality techniques, some sufficient conditions for exponentially stability of the error system are formulated in form of a solution to the standard Riccati differential equation. The designed controller ensures that the synchronization of non-autonomous chaotic systems are proposed via delayed feedback control and intermittent linear state delayed feedback control. Numerical simulations are presented to illustrate the effectiveness of these synchronization criteria.  相似文献

Problems of the stability of non-linear non-autonomous systems of differential equations with a special class of asymptotically vanishing perturbations are considered. The paper discusses the global exponential stability in the Lagrange sense for a non-autonomous Cohen–Grossberg neural network (CGNN) with time-varying and distributed delays. The boundedness and global exponential attractivity of non-autonomous CGNN with time-varying and distributed delays are investigated by constructing appropriate Lyapunov-like functions. Moreover, we provide verifiable criteria on the basis of considering three different types of activation function, which include both bounded and unbounded activation functions. These results can be applied to analyze monostable as well as multistable biology neural networks due to making no assumptions on the number of equilibria. Meanwhile, the results obtained in this paper are more general and challenging than that of the existing references. In the end, an illustrative example is given to verify our results.  相似文献

The problem of Lyapunov stability for functional differential equations in Hilbert spaces is studied. The system to be considered is non-autonomous and the delay is time-varying. Known results on this problem are based on the Gronwall inequality yielding relative conservative bounds on nonlinear perturbations. In this paper, using more general Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional, neither model variable transformation nor bounding restriction on nonlinear perturbations is required to obtain improved conditions for the global exponential stability of the system. The conditions given in terms of the solution of standard Riccati differential equations allow to compute simultaneously the two bounds that characterize the stability rate of the solution. The proposed method can be easily applied to some control problems of nonlinear non-autonomous control time-delay systems.  相似文献

In this paper, a general non-autonomous n-species Lotka-Volterra model with delays and stochastic perturbation is investigated. For this model, sufficient conditions for extinction, non-persistence in the mean, weak persistence and stochastic permanence are established. The influences of the stochastic noises to the properties of the stochastic model are discussed. The property permanence for the model is preserved with the sufficiently small noise and sufficiently large noise may cause extinction of the model. The critical value between weak persistence and extinction is obtained. Finally, numerical simulations are given to support the theoretical analysis results.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider the problem of stability analysis of fractional-order complex-valued Hopfield neural networks with time delays, which have been extensively investigated. Moreover, the fractional-order complex-valued Hopfield neural networks with hub structure and time delays are studied, and two types of fractional-order complex-valued Hopfield neural networks with different ring structures and time delays are also discussed. Some sufficient conditions are derived by using stability theorem of linear fractional-order systems to ensure the stability of the considered systems with hub structure. In addition, some sufficient conditions for the stability of considered systems with different ring structures are also obtained. In this paper stability and attractivity in non-autonomous time-discrete dynamical systems is investigated with the aid of Lyapunov functions. The results are applied to the problem of stabilization of controlled systems by feedback controls.
