LetR be a semiprime algebra over a fieldK acted on by a finite-dimensional Lie superalgebraL. The purpose of this paper is to prove a series of going-up results showing how the structure of the subalgebra of invariantsR Lis related to that ofR. Combining several of our main results we have: Theorem: Let R be a semiprime K-algebra acted on by a finite-dimensional nilpotent Lie superalgebra L such that if characteristic K=p then L is restricted and if characteristic, K=0 then L acts on R as algebraic derivations and algebraic superderivations.
  1. If RL is right Noetherian, then R is a Noetherian right RL-module. In particular, R is right Noetherian and is a finitely generated right RL-module.
  2. If RL is right Artinian, then R is an Artinian right RL-module. In particular, R is right Artinian and is a finitely generated right RL-module.
  3. If RL is finite-dimensional over K then R is also finite-dimensional over K.
  4. If RL has finite Goldie dimension as a right RL-module, then R has finite Goldie dimension as a right R-module.
  5. If RL has Krull dimension α as a right RL-module, then R has Krull dimension α as a right RL-module. Thus R has Krull dimension at most α as a right R-module.
  6. If R is prime and RL is central, then R satisfies a polynomial identity.
  7. If L is a Lie algebra and RL is central, then R satisfies a polynomial identity.
We also provide counterexamples to many questions which arise in view of the results in this paper.  相似文献

Let be the Lie superalgebra . We show that there is a surjective homomorphism from to the Weyl algebra , and we use this to construct an analog of the Joseph ideal. We also obtain a decomposition of the adjoint representation of on and use this to show that if is made into a Lie superalgebra using its natural -grading, then . In addition, we show that if and are isomorphic as Lie superalgebras, then . This answers a question of S. Montgomery.

Let be a finite dimensional Lie superalgebra over a field of characteristic zero. Let be the enveloping algebra of . We show that when , then is not semiprime, but it has a unique minimal prime ideal; it follows then that when is classically simple, has a unique minimal prime ideal. We further show that when is a finite dimensional nilpotent Lie superalgebra, then has a unique minimal prime ideal.

Over an algebraically closed field of characteristic zero, all the abelian subalgebras of the maximal dimension are classified for any special Jordan algebra. As a consequence, the minimal dimension of the faithful representations of any finite-dimensional abelian Jordan algebra is determined and the minimal faithful representations are classified for the so-called nice abelian Jordan algebras. Let L be a Lie superalgebra with its enveloping algebra U(L) over a field F. A polynomial identity is called non-matrix if it is not satisfied by the algebra of 2×2 matrices over F. We characterize L when U(L) satisfies a non-matrix polynomial identity. We also characterize L when U(L) is Lie solvable, Lie nilpotent, or Lie super-nilpotent.  相似文献

Let g be a classical simple Lie superalgebra. To every nilpotent orbit O in g0 we associate a Clifford algebra over the field of rational functions on O. We find the rank, k(O) of the bilinear form defining this Clifford algebra, and deduce a lower bound on the multiplicity of a U(g)-module with O or an orbital subvariety of O as associated variety. In some cases we obtain modules where the lower bound on multiplicity is attained using parabolic induction. The invariant k(O) is in many cases, equal to the odd dimension of the orbit GO, where G is a Lie supergroup with Lie superalgebra g.  相似文献

We introduce the notions of self-dual (graded) Hopf algebras and of structurally simple (graded) Hopf algebras. We prove that the self-dual Hopf algebras are structurally simple and provide a construction of self-dual Hopf algebras. Finally, we classify the self-dual quotients of the form TB (M)/I, where TB (M) is a path algebra with a graded Hopf algebra structure, and I is a graded admissible Hopf ideal.  相似文献

Summary In any category with products and a terminal object one may define the notions of group, module over a group etc. if f: R′→R is a homomorphism of groups, and M an R-module, then one has an induced R′-module f*(M). If one is working in the category of sets, one may define a functor left adjoint to f* by N→R⊗R′ N, where N is an R′-module. The present paper contains two interrelated developments. First, the basic properties of the construction theory over the Steinberg Lie color algebras are developed in analogy with Steinberg Lie algebra case. This is done on the example of the central closed of the Steinberg Lie color algebras. The second development is that we define the first ?-cyclic homology group HC1(R, ?) of the Γ-graded associative algebra R (which could be seemed as the generalization of cyclic homology group and the ?/2?-graded version of cyclic homology that was introduced by Kassel) to calculate the universal central extension of Steinberg Lie color algebras.  相似文献

For k a commutative ring, H a k‐bialgebra and A a right H‐comodule k‐algebra, we define a new multiplication on the H‐comodule A to obtain a twisted algebra” AT, T sumHom(H,End (A)). If T is convolution invertible, the categories of relative right Hopf modules over A and ATare isomorphic. Similarly a convolution invertible left twisting gives an isomorphism of the categories of relative left Hopf modules.
