通过分析旋光纤喇曼放大器中信号光、抽运光的非线性薛定谔波动方程及放大自发辐射噪音特性,提出一种能同时在旋光纤喇曼放大器中产生预计波形放大自发辐射噪音,又方便计算的方法.根据放大自发辐射噪音时域特性,建立并在波动方程中加入放大自发辐射非高斯噪音模型.在考虑旋光纤双折射的非线性效应同时,通过分步傅里叶法对波动方程求解,计算了旋光纤喇曼放大器中的放大自发辐射噪音,并与实验结果吻合.  相似文献

The nitrogen laser pumped dye laser output has been studied with emphasis on the behaviour of amplified spontaneous emission (ASE) with respect to the tuning wavelength, pump energy, dyes and their concentration and solvents. Spectral spread of ASE is narrower than fluorescence and its maximum is shifted towards the red side. However, lasing occurs beyond the ASE region. ASE is small at high gain wavelength and increases at the edges of the gain curve. Laser energy is highest at the ASE peak with minimum ASE present in the output. ASE is reduced with increased laser energy in the energy transfer dye lasers.  相似文献

高峰值功率脉冲光纤激光器在激光雷达系统中有着广泛的应用。然而,光纤激光器中放大自发辐射噪声(ASE)严重影响了系统的探测性能。提出一种测量高峰值功率脉冲光纤激光器中ASE噪声的方法。在该方法中,首先对高峰值功率的激光脉冲衰减,然后在时域分别测量和计算ASE噪声和激光脉冲的相对能量。给出了光纤激光器在驱动电流分别为6 A,7 A和8 A时衰减后的ASE噪声廓线以及ASE噪声占激光脉冲能量的比例。  相似文献

 采用理论模拟和实验研究相结合的方法,研究了高功率激光片状放大器中的自发辐射放大(ASE)效应。建立了一套较完整的包含空间和时间的3维ASE模型,分析了不同电压、不同储能分布和不同泵浦时刻、不同增益长度积条件下ASE效应对放大器储能效率和小信号增益系数的影响。对4×2×3组合式放大器的计算结果表明:随着泵浦电压升高,ASE效应明显加强;23kV泵浦电压下,ASE效应造成的平均储能下降210%,小信号增益系数损耗为16.62%,增益不均匀性为7.44%;增益长度积可以作为判断ASE效应的依据,其值越大,ASE效应越强。  相似文献

Based on the geometrical modeling of the unified gain coefficient and the reported amplified spontaneous emission (ASE) output energy measurement ε(ASE) versus amplifying excitation length, l(AMP) in a KrF laser oscillator, we managed, as an example, to explain the ASE output energy behavior both numerically and analytically. In this approach, introducing the ASE gain-coefficient profile for the KrF laser, g(0,KrF)(ASE), was not avoidable. It was found that while the g(0,KrF)(ASE) profile follows the introduced gain-modeling formulation, it is, however, slightly lower than the KrF laser gain profile, g(0,KrF)(exp), deduced from the measurements reported by different researchers. The present approach, up to the present time, is able to explain all of the existing ambiguities on understanding the ASE behavior.  相似文献

The small signal analysis method is presented for the discussion of amplified spontaneous emission (ASE) noise in dispersion and nonlinear transmission fibers in wavelength division multiplex (WDM) systems. Based on it, the complete ASE noise spectra (include the ASE noise, the ASE noise enhanced by parametric gain and the crosstalk caused by ASE noise and parametric gain) are described and the factors impacting on them are discussed. The crosstalk caused by ASE noise and parametric gain in single mode fibers, non-zero dispersion shift fibers and dispersion compensation fibers are analyzed. Taking into account the dispersion effect in the transmission fibers, the three types of ASE noise may decrease.  相似文献

自发辐射(ASE)是掺铒光纤放大器(EDFA)的重要噪声源,对于由EDFA构成的光纤激光器有重要影响。理论与实践证明,它与抽运方式紧密相关,所以研究脉冲抽运时掺铒光纤(EDF)的自发辐射有重要的学术价值。同时,脉冲抽运对于EDFA锁模激光器的研究也有一定意义。从理论和实验两方面研究了小信号脉冲抽运时,抽运脉冲宽度和幅度对于EDF的自发辐射特性的影响,得到了小信号抽运时输出ASE噪声平均值的近似解析解。研究发现,小信号脉冲抽运时输出信号的幅度与抽运脉冲的宽度成正比。这个新现象可用于脉冲宽度的全光检测。  相似文献

Effect of injection of C-band ASE on L-band erbium-doped fiber amplifier   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3  
The effect of injecting conventional band (C-band) amplified spontaneous emission on the performance of long-wavelength band erbium-doped fiber amplifier (L-band EDFA) is demonstrated. It uses a circulator and broadband fiber Bragg grating (FBG) to route C-band ASE from a C-band EDFA. Injection of a small amount of ASE (attenuation of 20 dB or above) improves the small signal gain with a negligible noise figure penalty compared to that of an amplifier without the ASE injection. A maximum gain improvement of 3.5 dB is obtained at an attenuation of 20 dB. At very large amounts of ASE injection (attenuation of 0 dB), the gain of the amplifier is clamped at 15.2 dB from ?40 to ?10 dBm with a gain variation of less than 0.3 dB. The saturation power is also increased from ?8 dBm (for without ASE injection) to 2 dBm (VOA=0 dB) with a slight noise figure penalty. These results show that the ASE injection technique can be used either for gain improvement or for gain clamping in L-band EDFA.  相似文献

通过理论分析和实验测量,研究准波导结构染料薄膜中荧光和放大自发辐射(ASE)的泄漏模特性。理论上,考虑薄膜传输损耗及染料吸收损耗对准波导结构中泄漏模特性的影响,通过计算准波导结构中泄漏模的光强分布,给出了相应的物理机制分析;实验上,以棱镜为衬底制备染料薄膜,根据棱镜耦合法测量不同出射角对应的泄漏模的荧光与ASE光谱,验证理论的正确性。此外,采用光束分析仪探测各泄漏模式对应的荧光及ASE的光强分布,研究了准波导结构中ASE的激励特性。结果证明,荧光峰及ASE峰的红移以及泄漏模的激发是界面反射率、薄膜传输损耗及染料吸收损耗等共同作用的结果,而界面反射率对ASE泄漏模激发特性有重要影响,染料的自吸收是荧光峰及ASE峰产生红移的主要因素。  相似文献

利用双程双向泵浦单级掺铒光纤的结构实现高效率的L波段掺铒光纤放大自发辐射输出,同时选择1480nm半导体激光器作为泵浦源,高掺杂铒光纤为增益介质,通过优化铒光纤长度,获得了在1566-1604 nm(38 nm),自发辐射谱功率高于-16 dBm,总输出功率13.7 dBm的L波段掺铒光纤放大自发辐射光源.该光源结构相比于双程前向泵浦结构的L波段掺铒光纤放大自发辐射光源,其泵浦效率从11.8%提高到23.4%.  相似文献

报道了在氮分子激光泵浦下,激发态分子内质子转移分子2-(2'-羟基苯基)间氮杂氧茚(HBO)环乙烷溶液放大的自发辐射(ASE)实验和理论研究。在环己烷溶液中,HBO的增益系数α(510um)约为1.2cm-1。在建立了HBO激发态分子内质子转移(ESIPT)的放大的自发辐射动态模型基础上,通过数值模拟得到了HBO的增益光谱和放大的自发辐射光谱,计算结果与实验很好相符,证实了HBO的酮式异构体的基态寿命更接近于260ns而非亚纳秒级。  相似文献

在分析L波段放大自发辐射(ASE)谱产生原理的基础上,设计出一种新颖的双级结构掺铒光纤ASE宽带光源,该光源可在两个端口分别输出高功率的C波段和L波段的ASE谱.设计将C波段ASE谱注入到掺铒光纤中作为L波段ASE谱的二次抽运源,使得L波段ASE谱功率得到了有效提高.优化光源结构参量后从两个端口分别获得了12.97 dBm和12.81 dBm的C波段和L波段ASE宽带谱.将两个输出端口组合得到了功率为15.9 dBm,泵浦转换效率达到21.6%的C+L波段超宽带ASE光源.  相似文献

Amplified spontaneous emission (ASE) always occurs in high-power DF laser systems with master oscillator-power amplifier (MOPA) configuration. ASE not only reduces the energy extraction efficiency of the laser system, but also negatively influences its heat management. The interaction between the ASE flux and the coherent laser flux, as well as the effect of ASE on cuboid DF amplifiers, is studied using a finite difference method and an iterative arithmetic. In addition, the influence of ASE on coherent laser amplification is discussed in detail.  相似文献

在低重复率、高能量脉冲的应用场合,光纤放大器中采用脉冲泵浦的方式具有重要意义.本文模拟了脉冲泵浦方式下掺镱双包层增益光纤中放大自发辐射功率的动态变化,为优化脉冲泵浦方式提供了参考.通过有限元分析方法求解光纤中镱离子的速率方程和各光场的功率传输方程,模拟了正向泵浦条件下,泵浦脉冲开始后0~740 μs时间内光纤内部正向、反向放大自发辐射功率分布情况的动态变化以及光纤两端放大自发辐射输出功率随泵浦时间的变化.模拟结果发现了光纤两端正向、反向放大自发辐射功率增长速度的差异之处,以及光纤内部两种放大自发辐射功率分布动态演变的一些特征.  相似文献

 采用M – C方法计算了强流电子束泵浦XeCl准分子激光输运过程中生成的放大自发辐射(ASE)在激光腔中的输运过程。该模型考虑了腔壁的反射影响、非饱和吸收和镜反射的作用,计算给出最佳注入通量值。计算结果与文献[2] ~ [5] 给出的理论及实验结果相吻合。可为准分子激光实验提供理论依据和实验参考。并可推广到任何类型的激光器。  相似文献

A new scheme for travelling-wave excitation of amplified spontaneous emission (ASE) employing transversal pumping is presented. ASE pulses emitted in the forward direction had a duration of 6 ps, corresponding to one half of the pump pulse duration. The spectrum was strongly structured, with individual components having a width of 0.1–1.0 Å. Essential characteristics of longitudinal and transversal excitation of travelling wave ASE are compared.  相似文献

研究了温度对聚合物poly(9,9-dioctylfluorene-co-benzothiadiazole)(F8BT)和poly(3-hexylthiophene)(P3HT)共混薄膜的放大自发辐射(ASE)的影响。在80~320 K温度范围测试了不同P3HT质量比的共混聚合物薄膜和纯F8BT薄膜的ASE特性。在室温条件下,共混聚合物的阈值随着P3HT所占比例的增加先降低后升高。当P3HT比例约为20%时,阈值最低约为2.59×10~3W/cm~2。当温度从320 K下降到80 K时,纯F8BT薄膜的ASE阈值光功率由5.36×10~3W/cm~2下降到4.15×10~3W/cm~2,P3HT质量比为20%的共混薄膜的ASE阈值光功率由2.84×10~3W/cm~2下降到2.03×10~3W/cm~2。在一特定泵浦光功率(5.29×10~3W/cm~2)下,当温度由320 K下降至80 K时,ASE强度约提高4倍。随着温度的降低,混合物薄膜的ASE峰位红移,移动达12 nm。  相似文献

通过对RhB/PMMA和Rh6G/PMMA染料薄膜的荧光光谱和放大自发辐射(ASE)光谱的实验测量和理论分析,研究了准波导结构染料薄膜的荧光光谱和ASE光谱特性。实验上采用连续激光和脉冲激光照射,分别测量准波导结构RhB/PMMA和Rh6G/PMMA染料薄膜的荧光光谱和ASE光谱,发现荧光峰和ASE峰随着染料掺杂浓度和薄膜厚度的增加产生红移;理论上考虑准波导结构下薄膜中染料的自吸收效应,类比激光器谐振腔模型,分析低阶导模传输的增益特性,获得了荧光光谱与ASE光谱中荧光峰和ASE峰对应波长与染料掺杂浓度的关系,数值计算与实验测量相吻合。结果表明,准波导结构下薄膜中染料自吸收效应导致荧光峰及ASE峰发生红移,改变染料掺杂浓度,可以在较大调谐范围实现ASE。  相似文献

A model of three-level amplified spontaneous emission (ASE) sources, considering radiation effect, is proposed to predict radiation induced loss of output power in radiation environment. Radiation absorption parameters of ASE sources model are obtained by the fitting of color centers generation and recovery process of gain loss data at lower dose rate. Gain loss data at higher dose is applied for self-validating. This model takes both the influence of erbium ions absorption and photon bleaching effect into consideration, which makes the prediction of different dose and dose rate more accurate and flexible. The fitness value between ASE model and gain loss data is 99.98%, which also satisfies the extrapolation at the low dose rate. The method and model may serve as a valuable tool to predict ASE performance in harsh environment.  相似文献
