The qualitative and quantitative compositions of the lipid complex of the epigeal part ofSilene brahuica Boiss. (family Caryophyllaaceae) have been studied. The fatty acid composition of the acyl-containing lipids has been determined. Some differences have been found in the compositions of the fatty acids of the neutral lipids and the phospholipids. Lipids and polysaccharides have been obtained from the leaves ofBrassica oleracea. The qualitative and quantitative compositions of the lipid complex have been studied. The fatty acid compositions of the total neutral lipids and of the phospho- and glycolipids have been determined. The carbohydrate complex of cabbage includes water-soluble polysaccharides, low-methoxyl pectins, hemicelluloses, and free monosugars. The content of carbohydrates in Allium motor was studied as a function of vegetation period. The qualitative and quantitative compositions and physical chemical properties of sugars soluble in alcohol, water-soluble polysaccharides, pectinic substances, and hemicellulose were characterized. Polysaccharides isolated by successive extraction with water at 20 and 80°C from freshly collected and dried alga T. crinitus were compared. It was shown that the yield of polysaccharides from freshly collected alga was 40–44%; from dried material, less than 25%. It was found that the amount of extracted polysaccharides and their molecular weights decreased upon storage of dried alga for three years. Polysaccharides isolated from freshly collected and dried alga had identical structures and were a mixture of κ/β- and a new X-type of carrageenan. It was shown that protein, the amount of which reached 24% in the extracts obtained at 20°C, was strongly bound to the carrageenan. The amino-acid compositions of the proteins associated with the polysaccharides isolated at 20 and 80°C were identical and had an elevated content of serine, glutamic acid, glycine, and alanine.  相似文献

The lipid complex of the seeds ofPeganum harmala (fam. Zygophyllaceae) has been investigated. The qualitative and quantitative compositions of the neutral lipids and the phospholipids have been studied. The fatty acid compositions of the acyl-containing lipids have been determined and it has been shown that in the triacylglycerols and phosphatidylethanolamines the sn-2 position is esterified mainly by linoleic acid. Four fractions of soluble protein have been isolated by the method of successive extraction from the needles ofPinus sylvestris, and their quantitative ratios have been established. The quantitative amino acid compositions of the fractions isolated and of the unextracted protein, which amounts to about 55% of the total amount of protein in the needles, have been determined. The lipid compositions of the seeds and the flesh of the fruit ofMandragora turcomanica have been investigated. The qualitative identity of the lipid compositions of the two parts of the fruit has been shown and it has been found that the degrees of saturation of the fatty acids of the triacylglycerides and phospholipids and of the free fatty acids of the fruit flesh are higher than those of the lipid classes of the seeds. The interactions of sodium dodecyl sulfate with a positively charged copolymer based on N-isopropylacrylamide (NIPAM) have been investigated in aqueous solution by turbidimetric and viscometric measurements. The copolymer contains mainly NIPAM and only 5 mol % of the charged comonomer [3-(methacryloylamino)propyl]-dimethyloctylammonium bromide. The polymer–surfactant complex is insoluble for mixture compositions near to the charge stoichiometry, while it exhibits lower critical solution temperature behavior for mixtures with an excess of polymer or surfactant. The chemical composition of the leaves and roots of the hybrid fodder dock Rumex K-1 (fam. Polygonaceae) introduced into cultivation in the environs of Almaty has been studied for the first time. It has been shown that the leaves and roots of the plant contain a considerable amount of such biologically active substances as lipids, vitamins, phenolic compounds, polysaccharides, and anthraquinones. The water-soluble polysaccharides of the seeds of eight species of Gleditsia have been isolated and studied. They are galactomannans with different viscosities, specific rotations, and ratios of galactose and mannose. A study of their chemical transformations and IR spectral data has shown that the monosaccharide residues are pyranoses linked by β-1-4-glycosidic bonds having in the second componentD-galactose with the α-configuration of the glycosidic center and the most probable chair conformation of the pyranose ring. Synthesis of stable copper(II) complexes with reduced dextran derivatives can be realized with low molar polysaccharides of an average molar mass 5000 g mol−1. A copper(II) content of 4–20% is achieved at pH 7–8 and at the boiling point. Copper(II) complex formation with dextran was analyzed by spectrophotometric VIS methods. The IR spectra of copper(II) complexes with dextran were analyzed to find the most stable conformation of the glucopyranose unit. The ESR parameters of the spectrum indicate a square-planar coordination of the Cu(II) ion with four oxygen ligand atoms in the same plane. Copper deficiency causes a number of pathological states [1]. In both human and veterinary medicine, commercial copper preparations based on dextran and its derivatives are used for such purposes [2]. According to the literature data, dextran has the ability of complex formation with various biometals (Zn, Fe, Co, Ca, and Mg) [3–6]. Iron complexes with different polysaccharides have special importance and they have been described in detail [7]. Synthetic procedures for the complex formation of Cu(II) with polysaccharides, including dextran, are described in scientific and patent literature [8]. However, literature data on the complex formation possibility of the Cu(II) ion with dextran derivatives are scarce. The text was submitted by the authors in English. The lipid compositions of the coats and kernels of the seeds ofNepeta pannonica andLavandula vera have been studied. It has been established that the lipids of the seed coats of the two species of plants differ substantially in their composition. The lipids of the kernels ofNepeta have been found to contain free fatty acids with chain lengths of from C20 to C35. Ursolic acid and its acetate have been isolated from extracts of the seed coats ofLavandula, and dimethyladipic acid from the seed oil of this species. Glucofructans have been isolated from the onionAllium suvorovii Rgl., and their qualitative chemical compositions and the nature of the bonds between the fructofuranose residues have been determined. It has been established that glucofructan-II is a compound with low toxicity and exhibits a pronounced hypolipidemic activity in relation both to intact animals and to animals with experimental hyperlipidemia and atherosclerosis. Accumulation of americium (241Am) and plutonium (238,242Pu) and their distribution in cell compartments and biochemical components of the biomass of freshwater aquatic plants Elodea canadensis, Ceratophyllum demersum and Myrioplyllum spicatum and aquatic moss Fontinalis antipyretica have been investigated in laboratory experiments. Americium and plutonium taken up from water by Elodea canadensis apical shoots were mainly absorbed by structural components of plant cells (90% for 241Am; 89% for 238Pu and 82–87% for 242Pu). About 10–18% of isotope activity was recorded in the cytosol fraction. The major concentration (76–92%) of americium was bound to cell wall cellulose-like polysaccharides of Elodea canadensis, Myriophyllum spicatum, Ceratophyllum demersum and Fontinalis antipyretica, 8–24% of americium activity was registered in the fraction of proteins and carbohydrates, and just a minor concentration (<1%) in the lipid fraction. The distribution of plutonium in the biomass fractions of Elodea was similar to that of americium. Hence, americium and plutonium had the highest affinity to cellulose-like polysaccharides of cell walls of freshwater submerged macrophytes.  相似文献

The influence of H2O–EtOH and H2O–Acetone mixed solvents at various compositions on the thermodynamics of complex formation reaction between crown ether 18-crown-6 (18C6) and glycine (Gly) was studied. The standard thermodynamic parameters of the complex [Gly18C6] (log K°, Δr H°, Δr S°) were calculated from thermochemical data at 298.15 K obtained by titration calorimetry. The complex stability and its formation enthalpy increase with increasing the non aqueous component concentration in both mixed solvents. The thermodynamic data were discussed on the basis of the solvation thermodynamic approach and the solvation contributions of the reagents and of the complex to the complex stability were analyzed.  相似文献

The coordination complex of Cu (II) with the Schiff base derived from 4-chloroaniline with salicylaldehyde have been synthesized and characterized by micro analytical data; FT–IR, UV–Vis, FAB-mass and thermal analysis studies. Thermal data show degradation of complexes. We carried out thermal analysis at three different heating rates viz. 5, 10 and 20 °C per min. The activation thermodynamic parameters, such as activation energy (E*), entropy of activation (ΔS*), enthalpy of activation (ΔH*) and Gibbs free energy (ΔG*) have been calculated with the help of TG, DTA and DTG curves using Coats–Redfern method. The stoichiometry of the complexes are in 1:2 (M:L) molar ratio. Synthesized complex has been tested for their reactivity and substitution behaviour.  相似文献
