This Letter presents a theoretical analysis of propagation of spin waves in a superconducting ferromagnet. The surface impedance was calculated for the case when the magnetization is normal to the sample surface. We found the frequencies at which the impedance and the power absorption have singularities related to the spin-wave propagation, and determined the form of these singularities. With a suitable choice of parameters, there is a frequency interval in which two propagating spin waves of the same circular polarization are generated, one of them having a negative group velocity.  相似文献

A simplified mathematical model of two-dimensionally(2D) periodic thin-film wavegmide is proposed and the characteristics of wave propagation are shown to be governed by a five-term recurrence relation with dyadic admittance coefficients. The generalized transverse resonance method can be used to analyze any complicated 2D periodic thin-film waveguide. The dispersion characteristics are described by both approximation analysis and numerical calculation. The theoretical explanation and physical understanding of the effecis of 2D periodic modulation provided by our analysis and resulis can give sound support to the engineering applications.  相似文献

We analyse electromagnetic wave propagation in a dielectric with memory of the Maxwell-Hopkinson type. We show that the components of the electric and magnetic fields satisfy two different scalar wave equations and we first look for their harmonic plane wave solutions. Then we prove that dielectrics with memory can also support approximate Courant-Hilbert waves. We discuss the equations to be solved to get all the components of the electromagnetic field from a scalar solution from each wave equation and TE, TM harmonic plane waves are explicitly given.  相似文献

The possibility of controlling the functional properties of nanostructured thin films deposited on solid substrates using lasers stems from the different topology and elemental composition of the deposited materials. Quantum-correlated states that emerge in the deposited granular nanocluster semiconductor/ metal structures lead to hopping/tunneling conductivity. The possibility of high-temperature superconductivity in such nanocluster structures that are both stable and can give rise to different (nonphonon) electron pairing mechanisms is discussed. An increase in electrical conductivity (by several orders of magnitude) is observed in experiments, depending on the surface and boundary conditions in various topologically organized cluster systems. The problem is to find the optimum numerical relations between the topological parameters in order to obtain the patterns of directivity (such as the Bragg resonance) needed for a sharp increase in electrical conductivity in selective directions.  相似文献

The general theory of parametric coupling between space-charge waves and drifting charge carriers in thin-film semiconductor structures has been worked out. This theory is applicable, in particular, to n-GaAs and n-InP semiconductors with negative differential conductance due to intervalley electron transitions under high electric fields. We started from the electrodynamic theory of waveguide excitation by extraneous currents, which was extended for arbitrary waveguide structures with composite active media. Our theory makes it possible to study parametric interaction between space-charge waves in semiconductor films with regard for boundary conditions, diffusion, the anisotropy and the frequency dispersion of the differential electron mobility, as well as the multifrequency and multimode nature of a wave process in thin-film structures.  相似文献

Maxwell’s equations are considered for waves in transparent inhomogeneous anisotropic and gyrotropic media with time dispersion. A uniaxial inhomogeneous crystal is taken for an anisotropic medium and an isotropic heterogeneous medium in a constant electric field for a gyrotropic medium.
