A novel, efficient method has been developed for the synthesis of propargylamines through a three-component coupling of aryl azides, aldehydes, and alkynes in the presence of iron-iodine-copper(I) bromide as catalyst. This method is the first example for directly using aryl azides as an amino component in a three-component coupling reaction. Some of the major advantages of this protocol are: good yields, the involvement of a less-expensive and non-toxic catalyst, mild reaction conditions, and a wide range of substrates.  相似文献

An efficient improved procedure for the synthesis of beta-acetamido carbonyl compounds is developed by a cobalt(II) chloride-catalyzed three-component coupling protocol. The procedure is also amenable to the synthesis of gamma-lactams by a three-component coupling reaction with use of 2-carbomethoxybenzaldehyde. The beta-acetamido carbonyl compounds derived from 2-carbomethoxybenzaldehyde are useful intermediates as they can be transformed to the corresponding gamma-lactams on treatment with base.  相似文献

A new general protocol for the synthesis of O,Se-acetals using the seleno-Pummerer reaction has been developed, and their radical-based two- and three-component coupling reactions were studied. The three-component coupling employed the O,Se-acetal, cyclopentenone, and an allylstannane derivative, and enabled stereoselective installations of α-acyloxy alkyl and functionalized allyl groups to generate the 2,3-trans-disubstituted cyclopentanone in a single operation. A highly efficient, mild, practical, and catalytic multicomponent reaction for the synthesis of N-sulfonylamidines has been developed. This reaction has an extremely wide scope with regard to all three coupling components of alkyne, sulfonyl azide, and amine. A simple, convenient, and efficient approach for the synthesis of (E)-2,3′-bi(3H-indol)-3-one oxime derivatives has been developed. The methodology is based on a three-component coupling reaction of indoles and sodium nitrite using a silica-supported methylsulfonic acid as solid acid. The practical utility of this three-component coupling reaction has been demonstrated in the gram-scale dimerization of indole.
