We consider several transformation groups of a locally conformally Kähler manifold and discuss their inter-relations. Among other results, we prove that all conformal vector fields on a compact Vaisman manifold which is neither locally conformally hyperkähler nor a diagonal Hopf manifold are Killing, holomorphic and that all affine vector fields with respect to the minimal Weyl connection of a locally conformally Kähler manifold which is neither Weyl-reducible nor locally conformally hyperkähler are holomorphic and conformal.  相似文献

A locally conformally Kähler (LCK) manifold is a complex manifold covered by a Kähler manifold, with the covering group acting by homotheties. We show that if such a compact manifold \(X\) admits a holomorphic submersion with positive-dimensional fibers at least one of which is of Kähler type, then \(X\) is globally conformally Kähler or biholomorphic, up to finite covers, to a small deformation of a Vaisman manifold (i.e., a mapping torus over a circle, with Sasakian fiber). As a consequence, we show that the product of a compact non-Kähler LCK and a compact Kähler manifold cannot carry a LCK metric.  相似文献

We study compact complex manifolds bimeromorphic to locally conformally Kähler (LCK) manifolds. This is an analogy of studying a compact complex manifold bimeromorphic to a Kähler manifold. We give a negative answer for a question of Ornea, Verbitsky, Vuletescu by showing that there exists no LCK current on blow ups along a submanifold (dim \(\ge 1\)) of Vaisman manifolds. We show that a compact complex manifold with LCK currents satisfying a certain condition can be modified to an LCK manifold. Based on this fact, we define a compact complex manifold with a modification from an LCK manifold as a locally conformally class C (LC class C) manifold. We give examples of LC class C manifolds that are not LCK manifolds. Finally, we show that all LC class C manifolds are locally conformally balanced manifolds.  相似文献

A manifold M is locally conformally Kähler (LCK) if it admits a Kähler covering ${\tilde{M}}$ with monodromy acting by holomorphic homotheties. Let M be an LCK manifold admitting a holomorphic conformal flow of diffeomorphisms, lifted to a non-isometric homothetic flow on ${\tilde{M}}$ . We show that M admits an automorphic potential, and the monodromy group of its conformal weight bundle is ${\mathbb{Z}}$ .  相似文献

Let (M,J,ω) be a compact toric Kähler manifold of dim? M=n and L a regular orbit of the T n-action on M. In the present paper, we investigate Hamiltonian stability of L, which was introduced by Y.-G. Oh (Invent. Math. 101, 501–519 (1990); Math. Z. 212, 175–192) (1993)). As a result, we prove any regular orbit is Hamiltonian stable when (M,ω)=??nFS) and (M,ω)=??n 1× ??n 2,aωFS⊕ bωFS), where ωFS is the Fubini–Study Kähler form and a and b are positive constants. Moreover, they are locally Hamiltonian volume minimizing Lagrangian submanifolds.  相似文献

We investigate the Kähler manifolds with Norden metric whose curvature tensor can be expressed in the terms of Ricci tensors only and whose holomorphically conformal curvature tensor vanishes.  相似文献

The Picard variety Pic0(? n ) of a complex n-dimensional torus? n is the group of all holomorphic equivalence classes of topologically trivial holomorphic (principal) line bundles on ? n . The total space of a topologically trivial holomorphic (principal) line bundle on a compact K?hler manifold is weakly pseudoconvex. Thus we can regard Pic0(? n ) as a family of weakly pseudoconvex K?hler manifolds. We consider a problem whether the Kodaira's -Lemma holds on a total space of holomorphic line bundle belonging to Pic0(? n ). We get a criterion for this problem using a dynamical system of translations on Pic0(? n ). We also discuss the problem whether the -Lemma holds on strongly pseudoconvex K?hler manifolds or not. Using the result of ColColţoiu, we find a 1-convex complete K?hler manifold on which the -Lemma does not hold. Received: 11 June 1999 / Revised version: 22 November 1999  相似文献

We compute the Gromov width of homogeneous Kähler manifolds with second Betti number equal to one. Our result is based on the recent preprint [4] and on the upper bound of the Gromov width for such manifolds obtained in [6].  相似文献

We prove that every irreducible Kähler manifold with harmonic Bochner curvature tensor and constant scalar curvature is Kähler–Einstein and that every irreducible compact Kähler manifold with harmonic Bochner curvature tensor and negative semi-definite Ricci tensor is Kähler–Einstein.  相似文献

In this article we study an integral invariant which obstructs the existence on a compact complex manifold of a volume form with the determinant of its Ricci form proportional to itself, in particular obstructs the existence of a Kähler-Einstein metric, and has been studied since 1980s. We study this invariant from the view point of locally conformally Kähler geometry. We first see that we can define an integral invariant for coverings of compact complex manifolds with automorphic volume forms. This situation typically occurs for locally conformally Kähler manifolds. Secondly, we see that this invariant coincides with the former one. We also show that the invariant vanishes for any compact Vaisman manifold.  相似文献

We classify flat strict nearly Kähler manifolds with (necessarily) indefinite metric. Any such manifold is locally the product of a flat pseudo-Kähler factor of maximal dimension and a strict flat nearly Kähler manifold of split signature (2m, 2m) with m ≥ 3. Moreover, the geometry of the second factor is encoded in a complex three-form $\zeta \in \Lambda^3 (\mathbb{C}^m)^*We classify flat strict nearly K?hler manifolds with (necessarily) indefinite metric. We give a systematic way to construct almost conjugate pairs of finite subgroups of \(\mathrm {Spin}(2n+1)\) and \({{\mathrm{Pin}}}(n)\) for \(n\in {\mathbb {N}}\) sufficiently large. As a geometric application, we give an infinite family of pairs \(M_1^{d_n}\) and \(M_2^{d_n}\) of nearly Kähler manifolds that are isospectral for the Dirac and Laplace operator with increasing dimensions \(d_n>6\). We provide additionally a computation of the volume of (locally) homogeneous six dimensional nearly Kähler manifolds and investigate the existence of Sunada pairs in this dimension.  相似文献

Let M be a positive quaternionic Kähler manifold of real dimension 4m. In this paper we show that if the symmetry rank of M is greater than or equal to [m/2] + 3, then M is isometric to HP m or Gr2(C m+2). This is sharp and optimal, and will complete the classification result of positive quaternionic Kähler manifolds equipped with symmetry. The main idea is to use the connectedness theorem for quaternionic Kähler manifolds with a group action and the induction arguments on the dimension of the manifold.  相似文献

On a Kähler manifold we have natural uniform magnetic fields which are constant multiples of the Kähler form. Trajectories, which are motions of electric charged particles, under these magnetic fields can be considered as generalizations of geodesics. We give an overview on a study of Kähler magnetic fields and show some similarities between trajectories and geodesics on Kähler manifolds of negative curvature.  相似文献
