In this paper, based on new auxiliary ordinary differential equation with a sixth-degree nonlinear term, we study the (1 + 1)-dimensional combined KdV–MKdV equation, Hirota equation and (2 + 1)-dimensional Davey–Stewartson equation. Then, a series of new types of travelling wave solutions are obtained which include new bell and kink profile solitary wave solutions, triangular periodic wave solutions and singular solutions. The method used here can be also extended to many other nonlinear partial differential equations.  相似文献

By employing auxiliary equation method and Hirota bilinear method, the quantum Zakharov-Kuznetsov equation which arises in quantum magnetoplasma is investigated. With the aid of symbolic computation, both solitary wave solutions and multiple-soliton solutions are obtained. These new exact solutions will extend previous results and help us explain the properties of multidimensional nonlinear ion-acoustic waves in dense magnetoplasma.  相似文献

The defocusing Hirota equation has dark and gray soliton solutions which are stable on a background of periodic waves of constant amplitude. In this paper, gray solitary wave evolution for a higher-order defocusing Hirota equation is examined. A direct analysis is used to identify families of higher-order gray Hirota solitary waves, which are embedded for certain parameter values. Soliton perturbation theory is used to determine the detailed behavior of an evolving higher-order gray Hirota solitary wave. An integral expression for the first-order correction to the wave is found and analytical expressions for the steady-state and transient components of the solitary wave tail are derived. A subtle and complex picture of the development of solitary wave tails emerges. It is found that solitary wave tails develop for two reasons, one is decay of the solitary wave caused by resonance, the second is corrections at first-order to the background wave. Strong agreement is found between the theoretical predictions of the perturbation theory and numerical solutions of the governing equations.  相似文献

The hyperbolic function method for nonlinear wave equations is presented. In support of a computer algebra system, many exact solitary wave solutions of a class of nonlinear wave equations are obtained via the method. The method is based on the fact that the solitary wave solutions are essentially of a localized nature. Writing the solitary wave solutions of a nonlinear wave equation as the polynomials of hyperbolic functions, the nonlinear wave equation can be changed into a nonlinear system of algebraic equations. The system can be solved via Wu Elimination or Gr?bner base method. The exact solitary wave solutions of the nonlinear wave equation are obtained including many new exact solitary wave solutions.  相似文献

Exact periodic solitary wave solutions for Kadomtsev-Petviashvili equation are obtained by using the Hirota bilinear method. The result shows that there exists periodic solitary waves in the different directions for (2 + 1)-dimensional Kadomtsev-Petviashvili equation.  相似文献

We search for exact travelling wave solutions of the generalized Bretherton equation for integer, greater than one, values of the exponent m of the nonlinear term by two methods: the truncated Painlevé expansion method and an algebraic method. We find periodic solutions for m=2 and m=5, to add to those already known for m=3; in all three cases these solutions exist for finite intervals of the wave velocity. We also find a “kink” shaped solitary wave for m=5 and a family of elementary unbounded solutions for arbitrary m.  相似文献

In this paper, we devise a simple way to explicitly construct the Riemann theta function periodic wave solution of the nonlinear partial differential equation. The resulting theory is applied to the Hirota–Satsuma shallow water wave equation. Bilinear forms are presented to explicitly construct periodic wave solutions based on a multidimensional Riemann theta function. We obtain the one‐periodic and two‐periodic wave solutions of the equation. The relations between the periodic wave solutions and soliton solutions are rigorously established. It has been shown that many fully nonlinear wave equations with nonlinear dispersion terms possess compacton solutions and solitary patterns solutions. In this paper, with the aid of Maple, the mKdV equation, the equation with a source term, the five order KdV-like equation and the KdV–mKdV equation are investigated using some new, generalized transformations. As a consequence, it is shown that these equations with linear dispersion terms admit new compacton-like solutions and solitary patterns-like solutions. These transformations can be also extended to other nonlinear wave equations with nonlinear dispersion terms to seek new compacton-like solutions and solitary patterns-like solutions.  相似文献

Based on a suitable ansätz approach and Hirota’s bilinear form, kink solitary wave, rogue wave and mixed exponential–algebraic solitary wave solutions of (2+1)-dimensional Burgers equation are derived. The completely non-elastic interaction between kink solitary wave and rogue wave for the (2+1)-dimensional Burgers equation are presented. These results enrich the variety of the dynamics of higher dimensional nonlinear wave field.  相似文献

In this paper, for compound KdV equation, four new solitary wave solutions in the form of hyperbolic secant function and six periodic wave solutions in the form of cosine function are obtained by using undetermined coefficient method. On three different layers, the velocity interval which ensures that bell-shaped solitary wave solutions and periodic wave solutions exist synchronously is obtained, respectively. The length of the interval is related to coefficients of the two nonlinear terms.  相似文献

In a recent series of papers, Kavitha et al. [2,3,4] solved three inhomogeneous nonlinear Schrödinger (INLS) integro-differential equation under the influence of a variety of nonlinear inhomogeneities and nonlocal damping by the modified extended tangent hyperbolic function method. They obtained several kinds of exact solitary solutions accompanied by the shape changing property. In this paper, we demonstrate that most of exact solutions derived by them do not satisfy the nonlinear equations and consequently are wrong. Furthermore, we study a generalized Hirota equation with spatially-inhomogenetiy and nonlocal nonlinearity. Its integrability is explored through Painlevé analysis and N-soliton solutions are obtained based on the Hirota bilinear method. Effects of linear inhomogeneity on the profiles and dynamics of solitons are also investigated graphically.  相似文献

In this paper an extended Jacobian elliptic function expansion method, which is a direct and more powerful method, is used to construct more new exact doubly periodic solutions of the generalized Hirota–Satsuma coupled KdV system by using symbolic computation. As a result, sixteen families of new doubly periodic solutions are obtained which shows that the method is more powerful. When the modulus of the Jacobian elliptic functions m→1 or 0, the corresponding six solitary wave solutions and six trigonometric function (singly periodic) solutions are also found. The method is also applied to other higher-dimensional nonlinear evolution equations in mathematical physics.  相似文献

Generalized forms of exact solitary wave solutions of the class (1.1) are investigated. The analysis rests mainly on the standard a direct algebraic method. The most general solutions are obtained, possibly having a constant term in their expansion into real exponentials. These solutions of the class (1.1) are performed under certain conditions for the relationship between the coefficients of the nonlinear, dispersive and dissipative terms. The analytical solutions of this class are of pulse-type and of kink-type solitary wave solutions and they are obtained with an arbitrary constant phase shift.  相似文献

In this paper, the integral bifurcation method was used to study the higher order nonlinear wave equations of KdV type (III), which was first proposed by Fokas. Some new travelling wave solutions with singular or nonsingular character are obtained. In particular, we obtain a peculiar exact solution of parametric type in this paper. This one peculiar exact solution has three kinds of wave-form including solitary wave, cusp wave and loop solion under different wave velocity conditions. This phenomenon has proved that the loop soliton solution is one continuous solution, not three breaking solutions though the loop soliton solution “is not in agreement with the Poincaré phase analysis”.  相似文献

The purpose of this paper is to reveal the dynamical behavior of the nonlinear wave equation with fifth-order nonlinear term, and provides its bounded traveling wave solutions. Applying the bifurcation theory of planar dynamical systems, we depict phase portraits of the traveling wave system corresponding to this equation under various parameter conditions. Through discussing the bifurcation of phase portraits, we obtain all explicit expressions of solitary wave solutions and kink wave solutions. Further, we investigate the relation between the bounded orbit of the traveling wave system and the energy level h. By analyzing the energy level constant h, we get all possible periodic wave solutions.  相似文献

The Hirota bilinear method is prepared for searching the diverse soliton solutions for the fractional generalized Calogero‐Bogoyavlenskii‐Schiff‐Bogoyavlensky‐Konopelchenko (CBS‐BK) equation. Also, the Hirota bilinear method is used to finding the lump and interaction with two stripe soliton solutions. Interaction among lumps, periodic waves, and multi‐kink soliton solutions will be investigated. Also, the solitary wave, periodic wave, and cross‐kink wave solutions will be examined for the fractional gCBS‐BK equation. The graphs for various fractional order α are plotted to contain 3D plot, contour plot, density plot, and 2D plot. We construct the exact lump and interaction among other types solutions, by solving the under‐determined nonlinear system of algebraic equations for the associated parameters. Finally, analysis and graphical simulation are presented to show the dynamical characteristics of our solutions and the interaction behaviors are revealed. The existence conditions are employed to discuss the available got solutions.  相似文献

The obtained solutions include solitons, kinks and plane periodic solutions. The applied method will be used to solve the generalized coupled Hirota Satsuma KdV equation.  相似文献

We investigate a generalized (3 + 1)-dimensional nonlinear wave equation, which can be used to depict many nonlinear phenomena in liquid containing gas bubbles. By employing the Hirota bilinear method, we derive its bilinear formalism and soliton solutions succinctly. Meanwhile, the first-order lump wave solution and second-order lump wave solution are well presented based on the corresponding two-soliton solution and four-soliton solution. Furthermore, two types of hybrid solutions are systematically established by using the long wave limit method. Finally, the graphical analyses of the obtained solutions are represented in order to better understand their dynamical behaviors.  相似文献

In this research, we find the exact traveling wave solutions involving parameters of the generalized Hirota–Satsuma couple KdV system according to the modified simple equation method with the aid of Maple 16. When these parameters are taken special values, the solitary wave solutions are derived from the exact traveling wave solutions. It is shown that the modified simple equation method provides an effective and a more powerful mathematical tool for solving nonlinear evolution equations in mathematical physics. Comparison between our results and the well-known results will be presented.  相似文献

Exact solutions of nonlinear generalizations of the wave equation are constructed. In some cases these solutions are solitary waves or solitions. Thus, by explicit construction solitons or solitary waves are shown to exist in dispersionless systems. In contrast to previous solitary wave solutions, these solutions are limiting cases of solutions of nonlinear partial differential equations with dispersion.  相似文献
