Experimental measurements of the spectral distribution of keV X-ray energy conversion of the M-shell emission from gold plasma produced by a 4 GW, 5 nS Nd:glass laser are presented. At a laser intensity of 2×1013 W/cm2, the overall X-ray yield for 2.0 ⩽hv⩽3.6 keV is determined to be 0.1% of the laser energy. In this paper,we demonstrate bias-selectable dual-band short-or mid-wavelength infrared photodetectors based on In_(0.24)Ga_(0.76)As_(0.21)Sb_(0.79)bulk materials and InAs/GaSb type-II superlattices with cutoff wavelengths of 2.2μm and 3.6μm,respectively.At 200 K,the short-wave channel exhibits a peak quantum efficiency of 42%and a dark current density of5.93×10~(-5)A/cm~2at 500 mV,thereby providing a detectivity of 1.55×10~(11)cm·Hz~(1/2)/W.The mid-wave channel exhibits a peak quantum efficiency of 31%and a dark current density of 1.22×10~(-3)A/cm~2at-300 mV,thereby resulting in a detectivity of 2.71×10~(10)cm·Hz~(1/2)/W.Moreover,we discuss the band alignment and spectral cross-talk of the dual-band n-i-p-p-i-n structure.  相似文献

采用坩埚下降法成功地生长了Er~(3+)离子掺杂的Na_5Lu_9F_(32)(NLF)单晶体。测定了单晶体在400~2 500nm波段的吸收光谱与2.5~25μm红外波段的透过光谱。Na_5Lu_9F_(32)单晶体在400~7 150 nm宽波段范围具有好的光学透过性,在该波段的透过率达到90%。在透过光谱中几乎观察不到2.7μm中红外波段的吸收,说明单晶体中OH~-离子的含量极低。根据测定的吸收光谱,通过Judd-Ofelt理论计算了Er~(3+)在单晶体中的光学强度参数Ω_t(Ω_2=2.08,Ω_4=2.07,Ω_6=0.75),以及相应的辐射跃迁速率、荧光分支比和荧光寿命。根据Futchbauer-Ladenburg公式估算了样品的发射截面大约分别为1.42×10~(-20)cm~2(~4I_(13/2)→~4I_(15/2))和1.66×10~(-20)cm~2(~4I_(11/2)→~4I_(13/2))。在980 nm半导体激光器(LD)激发下,研究了单晶体的近红外1.5μm与中红外2.7μm的发射光谱特性。  相似文献

用提拉法生长了(1.5 at.%)Nd~(3+):Y_3Sc_2Al_3O_(12)(YSAG)激光晶体,摇摆曲线表明晶体结晶质量优良.测量了该晶体的吸收和发光光谱,表明其适合成熟的808 nm激光二极管(LD)抽运,其~4F_(3/2)→~4I_(11/2)跃迁最强发射波长为1059 nm,发射截面为1.03×10~(-19)cm~2,同时其激光上能级寿命为253μs,表明Nd:YSAG具有和Nd:YAG相近的效率,但其激光上能级寿命比Nd:YAG长约20μs.以LD抽运2 mm×2 mm×6 mm Nd:YSAG激光棒,激光阈值为0.85 W,最高输出功率为1.1 W,激光斜效率为21.1%,光-光转化效率为18.3%.综合表明Nd:YSAG单晶作为激光性能优良的全固态激光材料,更适合全固态调Q激光输出.  相似文献

Commercial beam profile monitors for pulsed CO2 lasers (10.6 μm wavelength) are expensive and suffer from a low damage threshold. To overcome these problems, a robust detector with a high damage threshold was developed. The detector is made of a special type of graphite which is evaporated during the interaction with the laser beam. A plasma is formed which radiates visible light. Using a conventional fast shutter imaging system, this plasma light directly shows the spatial intensity distribution of the laser beam. 利用0.97 GeV的209Bi离子辐照二硫化钼(MoS2)晶体,辐照注量范围为1×1010~1×1012 ions/cm2,结合原子力显微镜(AFM)观测和Raman光谱分析研究了快重离子辐照对MoS2热导率的影响。实验结果显示,快重离子辐照在MoS2中产生了潜径迹,较高激光功率下的Raman测试使样品局部温度升高,导致E1/2gA1g峰随注量增加向低波数方向移动,且峰形展宽。引入了通过改变激光功率测量Raman光谱得到MoS2热导率的计算方法,获得了不同辐照注量下MoS2的热导率的定量分析结果,随注量增加,热导率不断降低,从未辐照样品的563 W/mK下降到1×1012 ions/cm2辐照时的132 W/mK。Molybdenum disulphide (MoS2) was irradiated by 0.97 GeV 209Bi ions with the fluence of 1×1010 to 1×1012 ions/cm2. The irradiation effect on the thermal conductivity of MoS2 was analyzed by atomic force microscope (AFM) and Raman spectroscopy. The experimental results show that hillock-like latent tracks are observed on irradiated MoS2 by AFM. The measurement of MoS2 by Raman spectrometer with high laser power results in the increase of local temperature of MoS2, which cause the downshift of peaks position and broadening of E1/2g and A1g peak. Furthermore, according to Raman spectra measured at different laser power, thermal conductivity of MoS2 before and after irradiation was calculated, which show that the thermal conductivity of MoS2 decreases with increasing fluence, from 563 to 132 W/mK for pristine and 1×1012 ions/cm2 irradiated MoS2, respectively.  相似文献

In order to extend plasma accelerators, the laser beam has to be guided inside gas or plasma over a distance of the order of the dephasing length, which is typically much larger than the diffraction length zR of the laser. A capillary tube can be used as a waveguide for high-intensity laser pulses over distances well in excess of zR. Experimental demonstration of monomode guiding over 100 zR of 1016 W/cm2 pulses has been obtained in evacuated capillary tubes (45-70-μm inner diameter). A drop of transmission has been observed when the intensity of the amplified spontaneous emission (ASE) is high enough to ionize the capillary tube entrance. Propagation in helium gas-filled (10-40 mbar) capillary tubes has been studied at intensities up to 1016 W/cm2; a plasma column with on-axis density of the order of 1017 cm-3 has been created on a length of the order of 4 cm. The use of a capillary tube for an extended accelerator is discussed for the ease of linear, resonant excitation of plasma waves by laser wakefield  相似文献

采用顶部籽晶提拉法(TSSG)生长了钬铥双掺钨酸镱钾(KHo0.04Tm0.06Yb0.9(WO42)激光晶体。测试了该晶体的吸收及荧光光谱,计算了其光谱参数。实验结果表明:该晶体在890~1 000 nm范围吸收带较宽,半峰宽为90 nm,计算了主峰1 000 nm处吸收截面为16.92×10-20 cm2;Tm3+在1 690~1 812 nm范围存在较宽的吸收带,半峰宽为118 nm,易于实现Yb→Ho、Yb→Tm、Tm→Ho的能量传递。根据Judd-Ofelt理论,计算了该晶体的光谱强度参数。根据Tm3+、Ho3+、Yb3+离子能级图,讨论了产生1 750~2 200 nm荧光发射的3种能量传递方式。最后计算了主峰2 030 nm处受激发射截面为3.47×10-20 cm2,表明该晶体可作为2 μm波段优异的激光增益介质。  相似文献

The authors present results of measurements of high-order harmonic generation and XUV spontaneous emission in helium and neon plasmas excited by a short pulse laser at intensities between 1014 and 5×1017 W/cm2. They compare the observed behavior of the harmonics with recent single atom calculations in helium. A wavelength dependence to the efficiency of harmonic generation that has not been previously reported is observed. Line emission from excited state transitions in Ne7+ in a short pulse laser-driven plasma is also observed. In particular, strong emission and a rapid recombination rate for the 9.8-nm (3d-2p) transition that is a possible candidate for a recombination-pumped X-ray laser is shown  相似文献

A photo-ionized lithium source is developed for plasma acceleration applications. A homogeneous column of lithium neutral vapor with a density of 2×1015-3 is confined by helium gas in a heat-pipe oven. A UV laser pulse ionizes the vapor. In this device, the length of the neutral vapor and plasma column is 25 cm. The plasma density was measured by laser interferometry in the visible on the lithium neutrals and by CO2 laser interferometry on the plasma electrons. The maximum measured plasma density was 2.9×10 14 cm-3, limited by the available UV fluence (≈83 mJ/cm2), corresponding to a 15% ionization fraction. After ionization, the plasma density decreases by a factor of two in about 12 μs. These results show that such a plasma source is scaleable to lengths of the order of 1 m and should satisfy all the requirements for demonstrating the acceleration of electrons by 1 GeV in a 1-GeV/m amplitude plasma wake  相似文献

研究了Yb3+/Er3+共掺60P2O5-15BaO-10Al2O3-5ZnO-10R2O(R=Na,K)以P2O5为主体的磷基有源光纤材料的光谱性质,以及不同Yb3+/Er3+掺杂浓度对光谱性质的影响规律。当Er3+浓度为9.100×1019/cm3、Yb3+的掺杂浓度为5.407×1020/cm3、Yb3+/Er3+浓度比为6:1时,玻璃样品在1 531 nm处的受激发射截面最大,为6.17×10-21 cm2。同时,其荧光寿命为9.73 ms,荧光半高宽为53.16 nm,发射截面与半高宽的乘积为3.28×10-32 m3,综合性能最佳。  相似文献

We calculate the lifetime of both the o-Ps and the p-Ps positronium annihilation decay Ps→γγ in the strong circular polarized laser field. We take a strategy of the factorization to separate the effects caused by the Coulomb interaction and the strong laser field interaction. It is factorized in the time direction but not in the space direction. Our results show that in the laser with long wavelength and high intensity, the lifetimes of those Ps states are dramatically increased. For CO2 laser with 10 μm wavelength and 1013 W/cm2 intensity, lifetime of the spin-single positronium is increased by 108 times. Our result is consistent with those obtained by solving the Schödinger equation. This effect may be useful for the high harmonic generation (HHG) effects provided with the Ps [Phys. Rev. Lett. 70 (1993) 774; Phys. Rev. Lett. 93 (2004) 013601].  相似文献

为了进一步理解极端条件下物质的电离特性, 特别是超短超强激光脉冲辐照超薄靶时等离子体的形成与分布, 本文以超薄碳膜为例, 细致研究了超短超强激光脉冲辐照下原子的离化过程. 分析和比较了强激光场直接作用电离和靶内静电场电离等两种场致电离形式, 在碰撞电离可以忽略的情况下, 发现更多的电离份额是来自靶内静电场的电离方式. 研究了激光脉冲强度对电离的影响, 发现激光脉冲强度越强, 电离速度越快, 产生的高价态离子所占比例也越高.当激光强度为1×1020 W/cm2时, 尽管该强度高于电离生成C+6所需要的激光强度阈值, 但该激光脉冲并不能将整个靶电离成C+6离子, 对此本文进行了详细的分析. 在研究激光脉冲宽度的影响时, 发现激光脉宽越小, 电离速度越快, 但越小的激光脉冲电离获得的高价态离子越少.  相似文献

对ZBLAN氟锆酸盐玻璃中Pr3+掺杂离子3P01D2能级的寿命和发光特性进行了较详细的光谱学研究。首先测量了两种掺杂浓度(质量分数分别为1×10-3,5×10-3)的Pr3+:ZBLAN玻璃的吸收光谱,然后运用时间分辨激光光谱技术测量了3P01D2能级在激光单光子共振激发下的荧光发射谱和能级寿命。将不同荧光发射谱带的强度和文献报道的Judd Ofelt理论计算辐射跃迁几率数值做了比较分析,证明了文献中理论计算结果的可靠性。由于浓度猝灭效应,在相同的激发条件下,掺杂浓度为1×10-3样品的荧光发射强度明显大于5×10-3样品的荧光发射强度。但是从我们的测量结果看,掺杂浓度对3P01D2 的能级寿命值无显著影响。掺杂浓度为1×10-3时,Pr3+离子3P01D2能级的寿命值分别为46,322μs。  相似文献

Temporally integrated ultraviolet collective Thomson scattering measurements were performed with frequency-quadrupled Nd:YAG laser radiation on an underdense long-scalelength aluminum plasma (nc ~1021 cm-3, Z≈7, Te≈Ti ⩾50 eV, L⩾100 μm). The plasma was preformed by an Nd:YAG fundamental beam (1.06 μm) with focusable intensities of 10 11 W/cm2. Time-resolved spectral blue shifts of 100-fs laser pulses caused by ionization of atmospheric density N2 and noble gases subjected to high (1014 W/cm2 to 1016 W/cm2) light intensities are examined. Included are data for two experiments: self-shifting of the ionizing laser pulses for varying peak intensities, pressures (1-5 atm), and gas species; and time-resolved blue shifts of a weak copropagating probe pulse for the same range of ionization conditions. The self-shift data reveal a universal, reproducible pattern in the shape of the blueshifted spectra: as laser intensity, gas pressure, or atomic number increase, the self-blueshifted spectra develop from a near replica of the incident pulse spectrum into a complex structure consisting of two spectral peaks. The time-resolved data reveal different temporal dependence for each of these two features. A quantitative model for a simplified cylindrical focal geometry is presented  相似文献

Radiation effects on complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor(CMOS) active pixel sensors(APS) induced by proton and γ-ray are presented. The samples are manufactured with the standards of 0.35 μm CMOS technology. Two samples have been irradiated un-biased by 23 MeV protons with fluences of 1.43 × 10~(11) protons/cm~2 and 2.14 × 10~(11) protons/cm~2,respectively, while another sample has been exposed un-biased to 65 krad(Si) ~(60)Co γ-ray. The influences of radiation on the dark current, fixed-pattern noise under illumination, quantum efficiency, and conversion gain of the samples are investigated. The dark current, which increases drastically, is obtained by the theory based on thermal generation and the trap induced upon the irradiation. Both γ-ray and proton irradiation increase the non-uniformity of the signal, but the nonuniformity induced by protons is even worse. The degradation mechanisms of CMOS APS image sensors are analyzed,especially for the interaction induced by proton displacement damage and total ion dose(TID) damage.  相似文献

We theoretically study the field-free molecular orientation induced by a three-color laser field. The three-color laser field with a large asymmetric degree can effectively enhance the molecular orientation. In particular, when the intensity ratio of the three-color laser field is tuned to a proper value of I_3: I_2: I_1= 0.09 : 0.5 : 1, the molecular orientation can be improved by ~ 20% compared with that of the two-color laser field at intensity ratio I_2: I_1= 1 : 1 for the same total laser intensity of 2×10~(13)W/cm~2. Moreover, we investigate the effect of the carrier-envelope phase(CEP) on the molecular orientation and use the asymmetric degree of the laser field to explain the result. We also show the influences of the laser intensity, rotational temperature, and pulse duration on the molecular orientation. These results are meaningful for the theoretical and experimental studies on the molecular orientation.  相似文献
