Partial volumes $\bar V^0$ of amino acids in aqueous NH4Cl and NaCl solutions are discussed. The salts have different effects on water structure. The contributions of the charged NH 3 + and COO? groups of amino acids are found. Structural characteristics of hydrated complexes are calculated: partial volumes of water inside and outside the hydration sphere and hydration numbers. The same value of $\bar V^0$ (NH 3 + , COO?) is achieved at a higher NH4Cl concentration. The two salt systems with the same $\bar V^0$ (NH 3 + , COO?) have similar values of the partial volumes of water and hydration numbers.  相似文献

Doubly charged NH 3 ++ cations were produced by double photoionization of neutral ammonia molecules by using the synchrotron radiation from ACO as a photon source of variable energy in the 35–49 eV energy range. The fragmentation of NH 3 ++ was studied by the photoion-photoion coincidence (PIPICO) method. NH 3 ++ cations were produced in the \(\tilde X^1 \) A 1 and \(\tilde B^1 \) electronic states of which the onset energies were measured at, respectively, 35.4±0.5 eV and 44.5±0.5 eV. It was shown that the NH 3 ++ ions, initially produced in their \(\tilde X^1 \) A 1 state, rapidly dissociate (in less than 50 ns), into NH 2 + + H+. Furthermore, the comparison with results obtained by other methods indicates that NH 3 ++ ions can either be long-lived (τ>10 µs) or slowly dissociating (1 µs<τ<10 µs) or rapidly dissociating (τ<50 ns), depending on their geometry and/or internal energy in their \(\tilde X^1 \) E A 1 electronic state.  相似文献

Complex formation of 18-crown-6 and dibenzo crowns with glycine, leucine, and norleucine was studied by NMR spectroscopy. The efficiency of non-valence interactions with participation of different active centers of the host and guest molecules is determined by solvation effects, mutual arrangement of benzene rings in dibenzo crowns, and the presence of bulky aliphatic substituents in the α-amino acid. The complexation of dibenzo crowns with α-amino acids in acid medium involves a system of different non-valence interactions, the most efficient of which are NH 3 + ... O hydrogen bond between the ammonium group in the guest molecule and ether oxygen atoms in the host molecule and dipole-dipole interaction between the guest ammonium group and host benzene ring (NH 3 + ... Ar). The efficiency of NH 3 + ... O hydrogen bonding decreases in going from 18-crown-6 to dibenzo crowns due to distortion of symmetry of the macroring cavity and violation of geometric complementarity of some ether oxygen atoms. The integral efficiency of non-valence interactions in the system dibenzo crown-α-amino acid was estimated on a quantitative level by 1H NMR relaxation technique.  相似文献

Simulation of fragments of potential energy surface for systems CH4 + CBr 3 + , CH4 + CBr 3 + AlBr 4 ? , CH4 + CCl 3 + AlCl 4 ? , and CH4 + CCl 3 + Al2Cl 7 ? was performed by DFT-B3LYP and DFT-PBE methods. The important role of nucleophilic assistance in methane halogenation by these superelectrophiles was confirmed. These reactions occur with a synchronous hydride transfer from methane to the electrophile within the cyclic transition states in linear C-H-C fragment of the rings and a generation of a C-Hlg bond between the carbon atom of the arising methyl group and the halogen atom of the electrophile. The nucleophilic assistance from the unshared electron pair of this halogen atom provides the lowering of the potential barriers to methane halogenation by complexes CBr 3 + AlBr 4 ? , CCl 3 + AlCl 4 ? , and CCl 3 + Al2Cl 7 ? to the values of the order of 20 kcal mol?1. These essential features of the mechanism of methane halogenation are independent of the halogen nature and are retained on going from the model electrophiles to the real ones.  相似文献

The chemical effects of UV radiation from atmospheric-pressure spark discharge and a DBK-9 low-pressure mercury lamp in distilled water and aqueous solutions of hydrogen peroxide and tryptophan have been studied. Reactive species generated in water by the both radiation sources are HO 2 · radicals, acid residue ions NO 2 ? and NO 3 ? , and ammonium ions. The yield of HO 2 · radicals has appeared to be the same for both sources, (1.1–1.2) × 10?6 mol L?1 s?1. This is confirmed by measurements of the degradation kinetics of tryptophan, which can be destroyed by HO 2 · radicals. The pH of water monotonically decreases with time during the spark discharge treatment. In the case of the mercury lamp, the pH varies insignificantly because of the competition of NH 4 + alkali ions with the acid residues. UV radiation plays the major role in the decomposition of hydrogen peroxide.  相似文献

Fe n + and Pd n + clusters up ton=19 andn=25, respectively, are produced in an external ion source by sputtering of the respective metal foils with Xe+ primary ions at 20 keV. They are transferred to the ICR cell of a home-built Fourier transform mass spectrometer, where they are thermalized to nearly room temperature and stored for several tens of seconds. During this time, their reactions with a gas leaked in at low level are studied. Thus in the presence of ammonia, most Fe n + clusters react by simply adsorbing intact NH3 molecules. Only Fe 4 + ions show dehydrogenation/adsorption to Fe4(NH) m + intermediates (m=1, 2) that in a complex scheme go on adsorbing complete NH3 units. To clarify the reaction scheme, one has to isolate each species in the ion cell, which often requires the ejection of ions very close in mass. This led to the development of a special isolation technique that avoids the use of isotopically pure metal samples. Pd n + cluster ions (n=2...9) dehydrogenate C2H4 in general to yield Pd n (C2H2)+, yet Pd 6 + appear totally unreactive. Towards D2, Pd 7 + ions seem inert, whereas Pd 8 + adsorb up to two molecules.  相似文献

Using a one-center-method, treating the inner shells statistically, the valence-shell, however, by quantum mechanics, the equilibrium internuclear distances and total molecular energies have been computed for CH4, SiH4, GeH4, SnH4, PbH4, BH 4 ? , AlH 4 ? , GaH 4 ? , InH 4 ? , TlH 4 ? , NH 4 + , PH 4 + , AsH 4 + , SbH 4 + , and BiH 4 + . The results are in good agreement with experimental data as well as with theoretical values.  相似文献

Cross sections for the production of O 2 ? in charge transfer collisions of fast molecular hydrogen ions (H 2 + , D 2 + , H 3 + , and D 3 + of 10 to 140 keV kinetic energy) with O2 molecules have been determined by means of a time-of-flight mass spectrometer analysing the slow negative product ions from the collisions. Within the measuring accuracy equivelocity H 2 + and D 2 + ions have the same cross sections for the generation of O 2 ? . The projectile velocity dependence curve of the cross section passes through a broad maximum with a peak value of about 6.5×10?18 cm2 around the Bohr velocity (25 keV/u) before showing an asymptotic decrease still within the limited energy range under investigation that is in inverse proportion to the square of velocity. Throughout the examined energy range H 3 + ions yield a cross section which is about 1.4 times larger than that of H 2 + ions of the same velocity. The fragment ion O? has been found to appear with cross sections between 10?19 and 10?18 cm2 upon collisional excitation in the energy range under investigation, with ever decreasing intensity when the energy of the positive hydrogen ions, the proton included, was increased.  相似文献

The gas-phase reactions of negative ions (O-., NH 2 ? , C2H5NH?, (CH3)2N?, C6H 5 t- , and CH3SCH 2 ? ) with fluorobenzene and 1,4-difluorobenzene have been studied with Fourier transform ion cyclotron resonance mass spectrometry. The O?. ion reacts predominantly by (1) proton abstraction, (2) formal H 2 +. abstraction, and (3) attack on an unsubstituted carbon atom. In addition to these processes, attack on a fluorine bearing carbon atom yielding F? and C6H4FO? ions occurs with 1,4-difluorobenzene. Site-specific deuterium labeling reveals the occurrence of competing 1,2-, 1,3-, and 1,4-H 2 +. abstractions in the reaction of O?. with fluorobenzene. Attack of the O?. ion on the 3- and 4-positions in fluorobenzene with formation of the 3- and 4-fluorophenoxide ions, respectively, is preferred to reaction at the 2-position, as indicated by the relative extent of loss of a hydrogen and a deuterium atom in the reactions with labeled fluorobenzenes. The NH 2 ? , C2H5NH?, (CH3)2N?, C6H 5 ? , and CH3SCH 2 ? anions react with fluoroberuene and 1,4-difluorobenzene only by proton abstraction. The relative importance of H+ and D+ abstraction in the reaction of these anions with labeled fluorobenzenes indicates that the 2-position in fluorobenzene is more acidic than the 3- and 4-positions, suggesting that the literature value of the gas-phase acidity of this compound (ΔH acid o = 1620 ± 8 kJ mol?1) refers to the former site. Based on the occurrence of reversible proton transfer between the CH3O? ion and 1,4-difluorobenzene, the ΔH acid o of this compound is redetermined to be 1592 ± 8 kJ mol?1.  相似文献

Primary processes in the reduction of p-nitroacetophenone (p-NAP) by ascorbic acid (AA) in water photosensitized by thiacyanine dimers M 2 2? have been considered. For M 2 2? , the quantum yields of fluorescence and intersystem crossing to the triplet state (M 2 2? )T increases in comparison to the monomers M?. The dimers (M 2 2? )T enter into the reactions of both one-electron photoreduction by ascorbic acid to give AA and M 2 3? and one-electron photooxidation by p-nitroacetophenone to give p-NAP and the dimeric radical anion M 2 ? which dissociates to M? and M· within 25–30 μs. The primary oxidative or reductive photosensitization in the ternary systems containing (M 2 2? )T, p-NAP, and AA affords p-NAP and AA.  相似文献

Fission of doubly charged silver clusters is investigated by the method of shell corrections. The following fission events are considered: Ag 22 2+ → Ag n + + Ag 22 ?n + , (n=11, 10, 9, 8); Ag 21 2+ → Ag n + + Ag 21 ?n + , (n=10, 9, 8, 7); Ag 18 2+ → Ag n + + Ag 18 ?n + , (n=9, 8, 7, 6). It is found that the shell correction energy is comparable to or larger than the deformation energy of the liquid drop. Threshold energies for the fission events are calculated and compared with the experimental abundance spectra obtained by Katakuse et al. (1990). Correspondence between the calculated threshold energies with the shell corrections and the experimental abundance is very good, showing products from lower threshold fission channels yield more abundance. The threshold energies without the shell corrections are almost constant irrespective of the fission channels and cannot explain the experimental abundance. Abundance of some products are too small to be accounted for only by the threshold energies. The low abundance of those products may be explained by the presence of competing fission channels that have similar minimal energy paths. It is found in fission of Ag 18 2+ that the shell correction overwhelms the Coulomb energy and the fission channel to Ag8 + Ag 10 2+ is preferred over the fission channel to Ag 8 + + Ag 10 + .  相似文献

Quantum chemical ab initio calculations have been performed for the vertical excitation energies and oscillator strengths of all low-lying electronically excited states of small helium cluster ions, He n + ,n=2, ..., 7. The geometrical structures of the ions were fixed at the equilibrium geometries of the respective ground states, for He 4 + and He 5 + also one alternative structure was considered. The low-lying excited states can be classified into two categories: the electronic transition can occur either within the central He 2 + or He 3 + unit or from the peripheral weakly bound He atoms to this unit. The latter transitions are very weak (f≈0.001), closely spaced, with vertical excitation energies of about 5.7 eV. The He 2 + and He 3 + units have strong transitions at 9.93 and 5.55 eV, respectively; these transitions are only slightly blue-shifted if He 2 + or He 3 + are placed as “chromophores” into the centre of a larger He n + cluster. The large difference in the vertical excitation energy of the strong transition should enable an experimental decision of the question whether the cluster ions have He 2 + or He 3 + cores.  相似文献

The Pamuk EPCE-F2σ method is applied to neutral and charged clusters composed from 2–9 hydrogen atoms. The range of applicability of the method is demonstrated with H2, H 3 + , and H3 by comparing the results with the reported rigorous SCF and CI calculations. Predictions of the correlation energy were made for larger hydrogen atom systems, the emphasis being laid in the discussion on H4, H 5 + , and H6.  相似文献

Optical absorption spectra of cobalt cluster ions, Co n + , and vanadium cluster ions, V n + , were analyzed by a theoretical calculation based on the spin-polarized DV- method, and their electronic and geometric structures were obtained. Relative absorption cross section associated with each electronic transition was calculated; the calculation enables a qualitative comparison of calculated spectrum with a measured one not only in its transition energy but also in its intensity profile. This analysis shows that Co 4 + , Co 3 + , and V 4 + have, respectively, a tetrahedral structure with a bond distance of 2.00Å, an equilateral triangle with a bond distance of 2.30Å, and a distorted tetrahedral structure with five bonds having a distance of 2.34 Å and one of 2.89Å. The differences in the population between majority and minority spins (spin-difference) evaluated from the electronic structure thus obtained were 2.0, 1.7, and zero per atom in Co 3 + , Co 4 + , and V 4 + , respectively. These spin differences indicate a ferromagnetic and an antiferromagnetic spin-coupling in the cobalt and vanadium cluster ions, respectively.  相似文献

We have developed a high-pressure laser-vaporization cluster source, which enables us to produce large, annealed clusters. Large carbon clusters up to C 2000 + , annealed sodium fluoride clusters of Na+(NaF)n, and ammonium iodide clusters of NH 4 + (NH4I)n have been produced by this technique. Annealed ammonium iodide clusters show a transition from hydrogen bonded complexes to ionic crystals as the cluster size increases. The characterization of the present technique and the production processes of the large, annealed clusters are discussed.  相似文献

To increase the efficiency of anion exchangers based on copolymers of styrene and divinylbenzene in ion chromatography a new method for spatial separation and hydrophilization of functional groups using epichlorohydrin is suggested. Synthesis consists of acylation of a matrix by acetic anhydride, reductive amination by methylamine hydrochloride, alkylation of the aminated phase using epichlorohydrin, amination by dimethylamine at the terminal chlorine atom, and quaternization of the terminal amino group with epichlorohydrin. The obtained anion exchangers make it possible to simultaneously determine eight anions (F?, HCOO?, Cl?, NO 2 ? Br?, N 3 ? HPO 4 3? and SO 4 2? ) and demonstrate high efficiency (more than 62000 N/m for HPO 4 2? ) in a suppressed ion-chromatography mode.  相似文献

Extraction of microamounts of cesium by nitrobenzene solutions of ammonium dicarbollylcobaltate (NH4 +B?) and thallium dicarbollylcobaltate (Tl+B?) in the presence of polypropylene glycol PPG 425 (L) has been investigated. The equilibrium data have been explained assuming that the complexes ML+ (M+ = NH 4 + , TI+, Cs+; L = PPG 425) are present in the organic phase. Furthermore, the stability constants of the cationic complex species NH4L+ and TlL+ in nitrobenzene saturated with water have been determined as log β (NH4L org + ) = 4.58 and log β (TlL org + ) = 5.27.  相似文献

The formation of cluster ions when hydrogen molecular ions H 2 + and H 3 + are injected into a drift tube filled with helium gas at 4.4 K has been investigated. When H 2 + ions are injected, cluster ions HHe x + (x≦14) are produced. No production of H2He x + ions is observed. When H 3 + ions are injected, cluster ions HHe x + (x≦14) are produced as well as H3He x + (x≦13), and very small signals corresponding to H2He x + (3≦x≦10) are observed. Information on the stability of HHe x + and H3He x + is derived from the drift field dependence of the cluster size distributions. The cluster sizex=13 is found to be a magic number for HHe x + , and for H3He x + ,x=10 and 11.  相似文献
