Sulfur doping of silicon beyond the solubility limit by femtosecond laser irradiation leads to near-unity broadband absorption of visible and infrared light and the realization of silicon-based infrared photodetectors. The nature of the infrared absorption is not yet well understood. Here we present a study on the reduction of infrared absorptance after various anneals of different temperatures and durations for three chalcogens (sulfur, selenium, and tellurium) dissolved into silicon by femtosecond laser irradiation. For sulfur doping, we irradiate silicon in SF6 gas; for selenium and tellurium, we evaporate a film onto the silicon and irradiate in N2 gas; lastly, as a control, we irradiated untreated silicon in N2 gas. Our analysis shows that the deactivation of infrared absorption after thermal annealing is likely caused by dopant diffusion. We observe that a characteristic diffusion length—common to all three dopants—leads to the reduction of infrared absorption. Using diffusion theory, we suggest a model in which grain size of the resolidified surface layer can account for this characteristic diffusion length, indicating that deactivation of infrared absorptance may be caused by precipitation of the dopant at the grain boundaries.  相似文献

Recent results obtained on building blocks for future third generation infrared focal plane arrays (FPAs) are presented. Our approach concerning the FPA performance assessment and small pixels modelling is exposed. We also demonstrate the ability of the quantum well infrared photodetector technology to answer the needs for compact (20 μm pitch) polarimetric FPAs. Finally, we present our first results on mid-wave infrared detectors at wavelengths below 4.2 μm.  相似文献

光电瞄准系统(EOTS)将前视红外和红外搜索跟踪进行了综合,进而可以获得高分辨率图像,实现自动跟踪、红外搜索跟踪、激光指示、激光测距和激光点跟踪。本文针对美国研制的EOTS的工作原理展开分析和研究,概述了EOTS的概念和技术特点,显示了其作为新一代机载光电瞄准系统的先进性。对EOTS多功能系统、光学元件、红外搜索跟踪、维护和研制规划进行了介绍,着重分析了EOTS的自动视轴校准系统,主要包括自动视轴校准系统的工作原理和工作步骤。最后,本文对EOTS系统的性能进行了总结。  相似文献

With the wide application of infrared focal plane arrays (IRFPA), military, aerospace, public security and other applications have higher and higher requirements on the spatial resolution of infrared images. However, traditional super-resolution imaging methods have increasingly unable to meet this requirement in technology. In this paper, we adopt the achievement that the human retina micro-motion is the important reason why the human has the hyperacuity ability. Based on the achievement, we bring forward an infrared super-resolution imaging method based on retina micro-motion. In the method, we use the piezoelectric ceramic equipment to control the infrared detector moving variably within a plane parallel to the focal plane. The motion direction is toward each other into a direction of 90°. In the four directions of the movement, we get four sub-images and generate a high spatial resolution infrared image by image interpolation method. In the process of the shifting movement of the detector, we set the threshold of the detector response and record the response time difference when adjacent pixel responses are up to the threshold. By the method, we get the object’s edges, enhance them in the high resolution infrared image and get the super-resolution infrared image. The experimental results show that our proposed super-resolution imaging methods can improve the spatial resolution of the infrared image effectively. The method will offer a new idea for the super-resolution reconstruction of infrared images.  相似文献

When computed to one-loop order in resummed perturbation theory, the non-abelian Debye mass appears to be logarithmically sensitive to the magnetic scale g2T. More generally, we show that in higher orders power-like infrared divergences forbid the use of perturbation theory to calculate the corrections to Debye screening. A similar infrared problem occurs in the determination of the mass-shell behaviour for the scalar propagator in (2+1)-dimensional scalar electrodynamics. In this context, we provide a non-perturbative approach which solves the infrared problems and allows for an accurate calculation of the scalar propagator in the vicinity of the mass shell.  相似文献

提出一种基于背景最佳滤波尺度的红外图像复杂度评价准则来解决传统方法评价背景效果较差的问题. 同时, 这种方法还可以为红外图像滤波提供最佳高通滤波尺度信息, 从而对红外图像进行性能最佳滤波. 首先, 生成高斯仿真目标并与红外图像进行融合, 获得包含仿真目标及真实红外背景的图像. 然后, 在不同高斯滤波尺度下对图像滤波, 并计算滤波后仿真目标的信噪比. 最后, 取滤波后目标信噪比最大时的滤波尺度作为背景最佳滤波尺度, 使用该尺度可评价红外图像的复杂度. 另外, 本文还使用数学模型推导了红外图像最佳滤波尺度, 得出最佳滤波尺度的数学表达式. 大量实验表明: 1) 本文推导的最佳滤波尺度数学表达式与实验曲线吻合. 2) 这种方法在评价红外图像复杂度方面比传统的基于信息熵的方法效果要好很多. 并且这种方法获取的红外背景复杂度为滤波最佳尺度, 可以直接利用这项指标对图像进行最佳滤波从而更好地检测弱小目标. 3) 仿真目标尺度越大, 最佳滤波尺度也会相应增大. 因此, 在评价图像复杂度时, 应使用相同尺度的仿真目标, 不同图像之间才具备可比性. 同时, 最佳滤波尺度与仿真目标的强度无关. 4) 本文算法使用的滤波器宜用高斯及Butterworth高通滤波器实现. 5) 本文提出的方法不仅可以有效分析红外视频的复杂度, 并且可以通过复杂度的变化分析图像内容的突变.  相似文献

The InAs/GaSb type-II superlattice based complementary barrier infrared detector (CBIRD) has already demonstrated very good performance in long-wavelength infrared (LWIR) detection. In this work, we describe results on a modified CBIRD device that incorporates a double tunnel junction contact designed for robust device and focal plane array processing. The new device also exhibited reduced turn-on voltage. We also report results on the quantum dot barrier infrared detector (QD-BIRD). By incorporating self-assembled InSb quantum dots into the InAsSb absorber of the standard nBn detector structure, the QD-BIRD extend the detector cutoff wavelength from ∼4.2 μm to 6 μm, allowing the coverage of the mid-wavelength infrared (MWIR) transmission window. The device has been observed to show infrared response at 225 K.  相似文献

This paper proposes a new method to generate the dynamic infrared outer space scene in real time. In the paper, we first model the dynamic infrared background of star sky based on the infrared star catalogue and temporal and spacial coordinate transformations. We also present a new concept called infrared star magnitude for given infrared receiving wavebands to display the infrared star sky effectively. Then we put forward an infrared image synthesis model for outer space targets based on the method of divided elements and energy equilibrium. To generate the dynamic infrared outer space scene, several simplification and accelerating techniques such as Billboard, Levels of Details and Occlusion Culling are hired to accelerate the generating speed of the scene. Finally infrared images of targets, background of outer space scene at different infrared receiving wavebands are drawn and the dynamic infrared outer space scene is successfully carried out in real time. * Corresponding author  相似文献

The power spectral density function (PSDF) of the log-amplitude scintillation for an infrared laser beam was measured experimentally. To investigate the contribution of the absorption and the dispersion that cause the scintillation, we chose 16 wavelengths of infrared light and one wavelength of visible light. It is found that the spectral density of scintillation for the infrared beam does not agree with that for the visible beam, as predicted by Tatarskii's theory in the low-frequency region below 1 Hz. This disagreement between the experiment and the theory in the low-frequency region should be attributed to water vapour absorption.  相似文献

We examined theoretically band structure and discrete dopant effects in the quantum well infrared photodetector (QWIP) and the quantum dot infrared photodetector (QDIP). We find that in QWIPs discrete dopant effects can induce long wavelength infrared absorption through impurity assisted intra-subband optical transitions. In QDIPs, we find that a strategically placed dopant atom in a quantum dot can easily destroy the symmetry and modify the selection rule. This mechanism could be partially responsible for normal incidence absorption observed in low-aspect-ratio quantum dots.  相似文献

In this work we investigated the photoluminescence response in the frequency domain modulated infrared radiometry signal observed of ZnTe:Cr bulk crystal. In mid-infrared range, three characteristic phenomena are observed in ZnTe:Cr crystal: absorption and emission of IR photons (2–3 μm) and the free carrier absorption. This implies that the modulated infrared radiometry signal yields information about the effective infrared absorption coefficient (photothermal response) as well about the recombination lifetime of carriers related with the infrared photoluminescence emission. In this paper, the frequency equivalence of the two-term independent exponential photoluminescence decay model in order to explain the measured frequency characteristics is proposed. The measured recombination lifetimes (2.3 μs for two exponential decay model and 1.5 μs for one exponential decay model) are in good agreement with the values given by other authors (about 2.5–3.0 μs). Moreover, we found that the photothermal response is uncorrelated with the photoluminescence one, in contrast, to the photocarrier response.  相似文献

Colloidal Pb Se nanocrystals(NCs) have gained considerable attention due to their efficient carrier multiplication and emissions across near-infrared and short-wavelength infrared spectral ranges. However, the fast degradation of colloidal Pb Se NCs in ambient conditions hampers their widespread applications in infrared optoelectronics. It is well-known that the inorganic thick-shell over core improves the stability of NCs. Here, we present the synthesis of Pb Se/Pb S core/shell NCs showing wide spectral tunability, in which the molar ratio of lead(Pb) and sulfur(S) precursors, and the concentration of sulfur and Pb Se NCs in solvent have a significant effect on the efficient Pb S shell growth. The infrared light-emitting diodes(IR-LEDs) fabricated with the Pb Se/Pb S core/shell NCs exhibit an external quantum efficiency(EQE) of 1.3 % at 1280 nm. The ligand exchange to optimize the distance between NCs and chloride treatment are important processes for achieving high performance on Pb Se/Pb S NC-LEDs. Our results provide evidence for the promising potential of Pb Se/Pb S NCs over the wide range of infrared optoelectronic applications.  相似文献

为了评价现有的落叶松树皮原花青素中试生产过程,了解生产过程中各工艺流程对产品组分含量的影响,将各工艺处理后所得样品进行了一维红外光谱(fourier transform infrared spectroscopy,FTIR)、二阶导数光谱(second derivative infrared spectroscopy,SD-IR)及二维相关光谱(two-dimensional correlation infrared spectroscopy,2D-IR)三级鉴定研究。实验结果表明,一维红外光谱中各样品光谱峰形较为相似,一些物质的特征峰消失或者偏移反映出样品组分含量的变化。随着生产工艺的进行,样品纯度、结构越来越接近原花青素标准品,但是仍含有少量其他物质。通过二阶导数谱进行分析,验证了一维光谱分析的结果,而且随着进一步提高谱图分辨率,将一维谱图中没有显现出来的差异直观的表现出来。在波数为830~1 310 cm-1的二维相关光谱中,各过程样品自动峰出现的位置、个数以及强度有了更为显著的差异。通过红外三级光谱鉴定可以得出:随着生产过程的进行,样品中所含原花青素纯度越来越高,最终得到的样品结构与原花青素标准品极为相似,但是产品中仍然含有少量杂质。  相似文献

采用傅里叶变换红外光谱(FTIR)分析了新鲜野生刺梨果肉、烘干刺梨果肉以及室温存放数日后刺梨果肉的红外光谱特性。为对比新鲜果肉与烘干果肉样品中刺梨黄酮的红外光谱特性,以新鲜野生刺梨果实为研究对象,分别采用了超声辅助溶剂萃取法和超声结合酶辅助半仿生法提取刺梨黄酮。并使用无水乙醇作为超声辅助溶剂萃取法的萃取剂萃取刺梨黄酮,以及使用胃蛋白酶,胰酶和胆汁等模仿胃肠消化的环境,在模拟半仿生条件下提取刺梨黄酮。在两种提取方法中,新鲜果肉和烘干果肉分别反应了0,0.5,1,1.5,2和2.5 h。分别测定了新鲜果肉刺梨黄酮和烘干果肉刺梨黄酮的红外光谱数据。然后,通过分析刺梨黄酮的红外光谱特性,比较了两种方法所提取刺梨黄酮的最佳特征波长组合,得知在相同的反应条件下,反应时间为1.5 h时,超声辅助溶剂萃取法中新鲜果肉与烘干果肉提取物红外光谱对应的透射率强度分别为83.5%和84%;超声结合酶辅助半仿生法中新鲜果肉与烘干果肉提取物红外光谱对应的透射率强度分别为32%和38%。因此,结合郎伯-比尔定律可知,反应时间相同时,对于刺梨黄酮的提取,超声结合酶辅助半仿生法优于超声辅助溶剂萃取法。除此之外,我们发现随着反应时间延长,两种提取方法所获提取物的红外光谱吸收峰强度均呈上升趋势,但是反应2 h后该提取物的红外光谱吸收峰强度趋于平稳。结果表明,刺梨黄酮在3 419 cm-1(羟基O-H伸缩振动)、1 615 cm-1(羰基C═O键伸缩振动)和1 053 cm-1(烷基)处的红外吸收峰对刺梨的新鲜程度具有较好的识别效果;通过比较分析,新鲜果肉与室温存放数日后果肉中的刺梨黄酮物质的红外光谱吸收峰分别与槲皮素和山奈酚吸收峰波数一致;在相同实验条件下,两种提取方法中烘干果肉刺梨黄酮提取物浓度均高于新鲜刺梨果肉。该研究可为刺梨功能化药品和食品的制作及鉴定提供参考。  相似文献

The advent of the quantum cascade laser (QCL) with emission wavelengths available in the infrared range from 3 μm through more than 100 μm opens up the possibility of exploiting infrared atmospheric transparency windows for free space optical communications. In an effort to establish the efficacy of using directly modulated QCLs for free space communications we have conducted a series of investigations that demonstrate the potential advantages of this technology. In these experiments we first establish that the QCL has very high modulation bandwidth. We then implement a practical free space communications link that under conditions of atmospheric fog, dust and other obscurants offers significant transparency advantage when compared with near infrared wavelength sources presently used in commercial free space optical communications links.  相似文献

Water vapor in the beam of a Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectrometer or/and in a gas cell is a major source of interference in the infrared measurement of a gas sample. In general, in order to eliminate the effect of water vapor, we have to completely remove these molecules before the measurement of any spectrum. Herein, we provide an approach to collect an IR spectrum of a gas (wet acetone) sample free from water vapor interference without any drying pretreatment. After dozens of scans, the air atmosphere in the sample compartment of the FTIR spectrometer will be slightly adjusted by small amounts of dry air or wet air (room air) depending on the property of water vapor lines (absorbance> 0 or absorbance <0). Water vapor lines will then gradually disappear when the ensuing collection process is continued. The experiment results demonstrated that this method is a facile and very effective way to remove water vapor interference. Moreover, this method works still well for the measurement at 0.5 cm(-1) resolution, typically used in the gas infrared measurement.  相似文献

鉴于复杂大气条件下的红外系统作用距离难以精确、实时地计算,提出一种建立红外系统作用距离实时计算系统的方法。通过将MODTRAN软件与基于光谱等分法建立的红外系统作用距离模型有机地结合起来,实现对于MODTRAN软件自动写入配置及调用计算,简化了大气模型的配置方法,并能够自动读取MODTRAN生成的结果输出文件。对某探测目标在不同海拔高度(1 km~6 km)及不同降雨强度(0 mm/h~4 mm/h)下红外系统作用距离进行计算,结果表明:探测高度的变化对于红外系统作用距离有比较明显的影响,其中在1 km~3 km探测高度范围内,探测距离变化尤为明显。降雨对于红外系统作用距离影响巨大。降雨强度为1 mm/h时,红外系统作用距离衰减为无降雨时的50%。当降雨强度大于3 mm/h时,作用距离趋于稳定。  相似文献

Advancements in III–V semiconductor based, Quantum-well infrared photodetector (QWIP) and Type-II Strained-Layer Superlattice detector (T2SLS) technologies have yielded highly uniform, large-format long-wavelength infrared (LWIR) QWIP FPAs and high quantum efficiency (QE), small format, LWIR T2SLS FPAs. In this article, we have analyzed the QWIP and T2SLS detector level performance requirements and readout integrated circuit (ROIC) noise levels for several staring array long-wavelength infrared (LWIR) imaging applications at various background levels. As a result of lower absorption QE and less than unity photoconductive gain, QWIP FPAs are appropriate for high background tactical applications. However, if the application restricts the integration time, QWIP FPA performance may be limited by the read noise of the ROIC. Rapid progress in T2SLS detector material has already demonstrated LWIR detectors with sufficient performance for tactical applications and potential for strategic applications. However, significant research is needed to suppress surface leakage currents in order to reproduce performances at pixel levels of T2SLS FPAs.  相似文献
