In this paper we give a method for constructing complete minimal submanifolds of the hyperbolic spaces H m . They are regular fibres of harmonic morphisms from H m with values in Riemann surfaces.  相似文献

We give characterizations of radial Fourier multipliers as acting on radial L p functions, 1 < p < 2d/(d + 1), in terms of Lebesgue space norms for Fourier localized pieces of the convolution kernel. This is a special case of corresponding results for general Hankel multipliers. Besides L p  − L q bounds we also characterize weak type inequalities and intermediate inequalities involving Lorentz spaces. Applications include results on interpolation of multiplier spaces. G. Given a compact connected abelian group G, its dual group Γ can be ordered (in a non-canonical way) so that it becomes an ordered group. It is known that, for any such ordering on Γ and p in the range 1<p<∞, the characteristic function χI of an interval I in Γ is a p—multiplier with a uniform bound (independent of I) on the corresponding operator SI on Lp(G). In this note it is shown that, for 1<p,q<∞, there is a constant Cp,q, independent of G and the particular ordering on Γ, such that for all sequences {Ij} of intervals in Γ and all sequences {fj} in Lp(G). Such a result was conjectured by J.L. Rubio de Francia, who noted its validity when The present proof uses a transference argument, an approach which shows that any constant Cp,q for which the inequality holds when G = will serve for every G and every ordering on Γ. An added advantage of this approach is that it adapts to give an extension of the result for functions taking values in a UMD space.The work of the first author was partially supported by a grant from the National Science Foundation (U.S.A.).  The one- and two-parameter Walsh system will be considered in the Paley as well as in the Kaczmarz rearrangement. We show that in the two-dimensional case the restricted maximal operator of the Walsh–Kaczmarz (C, 1)-means is bounded from the diagonal Hardy space H p to L p for every . To this end we consider the maximal operator T of a sequence of summations and show that the p-quasi-locality of T implies the same statement for its two-dimensional version T α. Moreover, we prove that the assumption is essential. Applying known results on interpolation we get the boundedness of T α as mapping from some Hardy–Lorentz spaces to Lorentz spaces. Furthermore, by standard arguments it will be shown that the usual two-parameter maximal operators of the (C, 1)-means are bounded from L p spaces to L p if . As a consequence, the a.e. convergence of the (C, 1)-means will be obtained for functions such that their hybrid maximal function is integrable. Of course, our theorems from the two-dimensional case can be extended to higher dimension in a simple way. (Received 20 April 2000; in revised form 25 September 2000)  相似文献

We give a necessary and sufficient density condition for a sequence {a k} k in the unit disk ofC to be interpolating for the classA −∞ of holomorphic functions with polynomial growth. The condition goes along the lines of those found by Seip for the analogous problem in Bergman spaces of the disk and by Berenstein and Li for some weighted spaces of entire functions. In this work we develop the theory of weighted anisotropic Besov spaces associated with general expansive matrix dilations and doubling measures with the use of discrete wavelet transforms. This study extends the isotropic Littlewood- Paley methods of dyadic -transforms of Frazier and Jawerth [19, 21] to non-isotropic settings.Several results of isotropic theory of Besov spaces are recovered for weighted anisotropic Besov spaces. We show that these spaces are characterized by the magnitude of the -transforms in appropriate sequence spaces. We also prove boundedness of an anisotropic analogue of the class of almost diagonal operators and we obtain atomic and molecular decompositions of weighted anisotropic Besov spaces, thus extending isotropic results of Frazier and Jawerth [21].The author was partially supported by the NSF grant DMS-0441817.  相似文献

In this paper, we prove that the Hardy spaceH p (), 1p<, over a strictly pseudoconvex domain in n with smooth boundary is quasi-coherent. More precisely, we show that Toeplitz tuplesT with suitable symbols onH p () have property (). This paper is a continuation of a project of developing a systematic operator theory inH 2(D 2). A large part of it is devoted to a study ofevaluation operator which is a very useful tool in the theory. A number of elementary properties of the evaluation operator are exhibited, and these properties are used to derive results in other topics such as interpretation of characteristic opertor function inH 2(D 2), spectral equivalence, compactness, compressions of shift operators, etc., Even though some results reflect the two variable nature ofH 2(D 2), the goal of this paper is to manifest a close tie between the operator theory inH 2(D 2) and classical single operator theory. The unilateral shift of a finite multiplicity and the Bergman shift will be used as examples to illustrate some of the results.Research in this paper is partially supported by a grant from the national science foundation DMS 9970932.  相似文献

If (X, p) and (Y, q) are two asymmetric normed spaces, the set LC(X, Y) of all continuous linear mappings from (X, p) to (Y, q) is not necessarily a linear space, it is a cone. If X and Y are two Banach lattices and p and q are, respectively, their associated asymmetric norms (p(x) = ‖+‖, q(y) = ‖y +‖), we prove that the positive operators from X to Y are elements of the cone LC(X, Y). We also study the dual space of an asymmetric normed space and finally we give open mapping and closed graph type theorems in the framework of asymmetric normed spaces. The classical results for normed spaces follow as particular cases. We consider the problem of characterizing some minimal submanifolds using the spectrum0Spec of the Laplace-Beltrami operator acting on fucntions. In particular we characterize then-dimensional compact minimal totally real parallel submanifolds immersed in the complex projective spaceCP n, 3≤n≤6, by their0Spec in the class of all compact totally real minimal submanifolds ofCP n. The submanifolds whose Gauss images are totally umbilical submanifolds of the Grassmann manifold are under consideration. The main result is the following classification theorem: if the Gauss image of a submanifold F in a Euclidean space is totally umbilical then either the Gauss image is totally geodesic, or F is the surface in E 4 of the special structure. Submanifolds in a Euclidean space with totally geodesic Gauss image were classified earlier.  相似文献

We give a characterization of weighted Hardy spaces H p (w), valid for a rather large collection of wavelets, 0 <p ≤ 1,and weights w in the Muckenhoupt class A We improve the previously known results and adopt a systematic point of view based upon the theory of vector-valued Calderón-Zygmund operators. Some consequences of this characterization are also given, like the criterion for a wavelet to give an unconditional basis and a criterion for membership into the space from the size of the wavelet coefficients.  相似文献
