We reevaluated the decay H → bb up to one-loop order of electroweak corrections in standard model with the nowadays parameters, determined by the best measurements including thelatest ones from LEP and SLC. Within error range of the CDF measurement of top-quark; mass, the electroweak correction reduces the decay width less than 0.7% and the correction value varies in the range of 0.5%.  相似文献

A thorough numerical analysis of the two major improvements of the original MIT bag model is presented. It is shown that the c.m. motion correction alone gives a good fit to hadron masses (including the qq? pion). The chiral-pion-cloud correction taken at full strength spoils this good agreement. If the quark-pion coupling is lowered by about 40% a reasonable fit is obtained again, while the electroweak parameters are well reproduced by both fits.  相似文献

It is shown via a series of numerical tests on the camphor molecule, C10H16O, that the naturally occurring d-enantiomer is energetically stabilized with respect to its mirror image by electroweak force. The calculated energy difference between enantiomers, about 1.5 x 10(-19) hartree, is roughly eight orders of magnitude smaller than the upper bound suggested by available spectroscopic investigations on the frequency of a spectroscopic transition. However, such a difference is about ten times larger than previous estimates of parity-violating energy contributions reported in the literature for other chiral molecules, which makes the idea of electroweak stabilization of one enantiomer more reliable than expected before.  相似文献

The contributions to the electron-electron-photon vertex of two-loop electroweak corrections are calculated. The relative correction to the parity-violating asymmetry of Møller scattering for the case of 11 GeV electron scattered off the electron at rest is found to be about–0.0034 and should be taken into account at future experiment MOLLER at JLab.  相似文献

The minimal dilaton model(MDM) extends the Standard Model by one singlet scalar called dilaton and one top quark partner called t. In this work we investigate the t-induced radiative correction to the Higgs-strahlung production process e+e-→ Zh at future Higgs factory. We first present the analytical calculations in detail and show how to handle the ultraviolet divergence. Then we calculate the correction numerically by considering the constraints from precision electroweak data. We find that, for sin θL= 0.2 and mt = 1200 Ge V, the correction is 0.26% and 2.1% for (se+e)~(1/2)-= 240 Ge V, 1 Te V respectively, and a larger value can be achieved as sin θLincreases.  相似文献

The running of the effective electromagnetic coupling is for many electroweak observables the dominant correction. It plays an important role for deriving constraints on the Standard Model in the context of electroweak precision measurements. We calculate the leading electroweak corrections to the light neutral Higgs boson production via qq → WH at the Fermilab Tevatron in both the standard model and the minimal supersymmetric model, which arise from the top-quark and Higgs boson loop diagrams. We found that the leading electroweak corrections can exceed the QCD corrections for favorable values of the parameters in the MSSM, but such corrections are only about -2%~-4% in the SM, which are much smaller than the QCD corrections. For the mass region of 90 < mh, < 120 GeV, the leading electroweak corrections can reach -20% for large tan β, and these corrections may be observable at a high luminosity Tevatron; at the least, new constraints on the tan β can be established.  相似文献

The present baryon asymmetry of the universe has finally been determined at the finite temperature electroweak phase transition. The strength of this transition plays a crucial role. The effective action is presented to higher orders, including wave function correction factors and the fullg 4, λ2 effective potential. An upper bound for the Higgs massm H~70 GeV is concluded for the reliability of the perturbative approach. The finite temperature electroweak, phase transition is studied on the lattice and the most important results of Monte-Carlo simulations are collected.  相似文献

We study an upper bound on masses of additional scalar bosons from the electroweak precision data and theoretical constraints such as perturbative unitarity and vacuum stability in the two-Higgs-doublet model taking account of recent Higgs boson search results. If the mass of the Standard-Model-like Higgs boson is rather heavy and is outside the allowed region by the electroweak precision data, such a discrepancy should be compensated by contributions from the additional scalar bosons. We show the upper bound on masses of the additional scalar bosons to be about 2 (1) TeV for the mass of the Standard-Model-like Higgs boson to be 240 (500) GeV.  相似文献

We investigate the one-loop effect of new charged scalar bosons on the Higgs potential at finite temperatures in the supersymmetric standard model with four Higgs doublet chiral superfields as well as a pair of charged singlet chiral superfields. In this model, the mass of the lightest Higgs boson h is determined only by the D-term in the Higgs potential at the tree-level, while the triple Higgs boson coupling for hhh can receive a significant radiative correction due to nondecoupling one-loop contributions of the additional charged scalar bosons. We find that the same nondecoupling mechanism can also contribute to realize stronger first order electroweak phase transition than that in the minimal supersymmetric standard model, which is definitely required for a successful scenario of electroweak baryogenesis. Therefore, this model can be a new candidate for a model in which the baryon asymmetry of the Universe is explained at the electroweak scale.  相似文献

If inflaton couples very weakly to ordinary matter, the reheating temperature of the Universe can be lower than the electroweak scale. In this Letter we show that the late reheating occurs in a highly nonuniform way, within narrow areas along the jets produced by ordinary particles originated from inflaton decays. Depending on inflaton mass and decay constant, the initial temperature inside the lumps of the overheated plasma may be large enough to trigger the unsuppressed sphaleron processes with baryon number nonconservation. This allows for efficient local electroweak baryogenesis at reheating temperatures TR approximately O(10) GeV.  相似文献

 水中放电等离子体通道内温度达2×104~5×104 K、而压力达1~10 GPa。在这样的参数下,等离子体的状态方程已不能用理想气体状态方程来描述。首次考虑了粒子间的相互作用对水中放电等离子体参数下粒子电离能的影响,计算了电子的简并性、带电粒子间的库仑相互作用、原子内部能级扰动所产生的压力。计算结果表明:当H、O原子和离子的总密度n=1029 m-3时,若考虑电离能漂移,则电子密度提高的最大幅度达70%;电子的简并性对压力的影响很小;粒子间的库仑相互作用在高温区使总压减小较显著,但在所计算的参数范围内,其幅值也不大于10%;当n=1029 m-3、T≈2×104 K时,原子内部能级的扰动使总压增大约30%。  相似文献

Fully relativistic four-component many-body perturbation and coupled cluster electronic structure calculations including electroweak neutral current corrections are presented for a study of parity-violating effects in chiral molecules. For the chiral molecules H2O2 and H2S2, it is demonstrated that electron correlation contributions to the parity-violating energy shifts are small but critically dependent on the molecular geometry.  相似文献

In the framework in which supersymmetry is used for understanding fermion masses rather than stabilizing the electroweak scale, we elaborate on the phenomenological analysis for the neutrino physics. A relatively large sinθ13 0.13 is naturally obtained. The model further predicts vanishingly small CP violation in neutrino oscillations. While the high scale supersymmetry generically results in a Higgs mass of about 141 GeV, our model reduces this mass to 126 GeV via introducing SU(2)L triplet fields which make the electroweak vacuum metastable (with a safe lifetime) and also contribute to neutrino masses.  相似文献

We consider non-renormalizable interaction term as perturbation of the conventional neutrino mass matrix. We assume that the neutrino masses and mixing arise through physics at a scale intermediate between Planck scale and the electroweak breaking scale. We also assume that, just above the electroweak breaking scale, neutrino masses are nearly degenerate and their mixing is tetra-maximal. Quantum gravity (Planck scale effects) lead to an effective SU(2) L ×U(1) invariant dimension-5 Lagrangian involving neutrino and Higgs fields. On electroweak symmetry breaking, this operator gives rise to correction to the above masses and mixing. These additional term can be consider as a perturbation to the Tetra-maximal mass matrix. The nature of gravitational interaction demands that the element of this perturbation matrix should be independent of flavor indices. We compute the deviation of three neutrino mixing angles due to Planck scale effects. We find that there is no change in θ 13 and θ 23 but change in solar mixing angle θ 12 is suppress by 3.0°.  相似文献

本文结合国际直线对撞机(ILC)的实验 讨论了 湮灭产生 对过程.在具体计算过程中,本文采用一种新的计算方式,即“混合链图传播子”修正下的反应截面,首先对QED中Dyson链图传播子理论在电弱统一标准模型中做了推广,获得WS中的光子、中间玻色子混合链图传播子,进而计算了 混合链图修正下 反应总截面 ,并与单圈修正下的总截面 和最低阶总截面 做了对比分析,发现在国际直线对撞机对撞能区, 对 和 的修正很大.此外,作者还结合国际直线对撞机的对撞亮度,讨论了每年可在ILC上产生 对的事例数.  相似文献
