Zusammenfassung Es wurde ein Verfahren zur Erregung von stationären Schichten, der Schichtungswelle und der laufenden Schichten in der Gleichstromentladung ausgearbeitet, das auf der Einwirkung eines Hochfrequenzfeldes auf einen kurzen Abschnitt der positiven Säule beruht. Dieses Verfahren wurde zum Studium aller drei angeführten Schichtungsarten in Neon benützt, insbesondere jedoch zum Studium des Zusammenhanges zwischen den laufenden und den stationären Schichten.Bei stationären Schichten wurden zweifache Strukturen festgestellt und es wurde deren Abhängigkeit vom Entladungsstrom und von der Größe des erregenden Hochfrequenzfeldes verfolgt.Bei der Schichtungswelle wurde die Stelle deren Entstehung ermittelt und es wurde nachgewiesen, daß das Hochfrequenzfeld diese Welle lokal an der Stelle dessen Einwirkung auf die positive Säule hervorruft.Bei den laufenden Schichten wurde deren Resonanzfrequenz in Abhängigkeit vom Entladungsstrom und die Abhängigkeit der Wellenlänge der Schichten von der Frequenz untersucht.Es wurde festgestellt, daß der extrapolierte Wert der Wellenlänge für die Nullfrequenz erheblich niedriger ist als die Länge der stationären Schichten. Weiter wurde eine Übereinstimmung der Frequenz der laufenden Schichten in der Schichtungswelle mit der Resonanzfrequenz der künstlich hervorgerufenen laufenden Schichten festgestellt.

The general theory of the preceding paper is applied to a concrete case. The spin wave interaction operator, s , is derived by quantizing a phenomenological expression, which expresses the contribution to the energy of the magnetic sample, caused by fluctuations in the anisotropic and exchange interaction. The influence of thermally excited spin waves on the absorption of energy from a high-frequency field and the justification for the application of the general results of the preceding paper are discussed on the basis of the form of the operator s . The interaction operator of the magnetic sample with the h-f field is also determined, and it is used to give a definite form to the expression for the resonance curve of the imaginary part of the susceptibility '. Using the matrix elements of the operator s we calculate the quantitiy, which formally corresponds to the width of the resonance -curve. The magnitude of is estimated numerically and our results are compared with those obtained by A. M. Clogston et al. and E. Schlömann for the line width in monocrystals and the shape of the resonance curve in polycrystals respectively. The expression obtained on the basis of the theory of the preceding paper for the frequency shift diverges in our case. The way in which to avoid this divergence is indicated.

We present a simple and accurate method for characteristic analysis of metal-clad dielectric waveguides and absorptive waveguides. The real partN of the complex modal indexN=N + iN is obtained by solving the corresponding real eigenvalue equation, and the imaginary partN is given by (n/), where= + i is the complex dielectric constant of the absorptive layer, and N/ is obtained by numerical differentiation. The method is straightforward, and the cumbersome solution of complex transcendental equations is completely eliminated. Results for simple structures are in good agreement with those obtained by exact analysis.  相似文献

An expression for the decay rate (0 ) has been derived in the frameworkof the spinor strong interaction theory, a first-principles strong interaction theoryproposed some years ago as an alternative to low-energy QCD. The startingpoint is the SO(3) gauge-invariant action for two quark mesons which has beensuccessful in accounting for confinement, + + , e+, and 0 e+, nonexistenceof the Higgs boson, and other low-energy mesonic phenomena. The quasi-four-quarkmeson equations developed for the decay of a vector meson into twopseudoscalar mesons V PP has been taken over here to apply to P(0) VV(+ ) (plus + and which annihilate each other). This mechanismin principle agrees with that of the assumption of vector meson dominance inthe literature. It, together with the effect of form factors, arises naturally in theformalism and need not be assumed. Equations for the perturbed vector mesonwave functions cannot be simply solved and an assumption has been made toobtain an estimate of their magnitude. Together with a constant associated withthe strong coupling obtained earlier from V() PP(K+K), the estimated decayrate is 19.2 eV, in order-of-magnitude agreement with data (7.74 eV).  相似文献

We introduce o(p+1q+1)-invariant bilinear differential operators on the space of tensor densities on Rn generalizing the well-known bilinear sl2-invariant differential operators in the one-dimensional case, called Transvectants or Rankin–Cohen brackets. The nonlinear properties of a ferromagnet are studied. Many-time retarded Green's functions are used to obtain an expression for the cubic nonlinearity tensor with allowance for spatial dispersion of a uniaxial ferromagnet. The components due to the dipole-dipole interaction of the spins and also due to the anisotropy energy are found. A comparative analysis is made of the different components of the cubic nonlinearity tensor in both the nonresonance case and for various resonances, in particular when 0, 3 2w0, 2 0, 3 0 for the case in tripling of the frequency. Here, is the frequency of the incident wave and 0 is the frequency of uniform precession. It is shown that in the non-resonance case the largest components are those that are nonvanishing when no allowance is made for spatial dispersion; in the resonance cases the largest components are those due to the dipole-dipole interaction of the ferromagnetism spins.Translated from Izvestiya VUZ. The properties of the Bel and Bel-Robinson tensors seem to indicate that they are closely related to the gravitational energy-momentum. We present some new properties of these tensors which might throw some light onto this relationship. First, for any spacetime we find a decomposition of the Bel tensor in terms of the Bel-Robinson tensor and two other tensors, which we call the pure matter super-energy tensor and the matter-gravity coupling super-energy tensor. We show that the pure matter super-energy tensor of any Einstein-Maxwell field is simply the square of the usual energy-momentum tensor. This, together with the fact that the Bel-Robinson tensor has dimensions of energy density square, leads us to the definition of square root for the Bel-Robinson tensor: a two-covariant symmetric traceless tensor with dimensions of energy density and such that its square gives the Bel-Robinson tensor. We prove that this square root exists if and only if the spacetime is of Petrov type O, N or D, and its general expression is explicitly presented. The properties of this new tensor are examined and some interesting explicit examples are analyzed. Of particular interest are an invariant function that appears in the spherically symmetric metrics and an expression for the energy carried out by pure plane gravitational waves. We also examine the decomposition of the whole Bel tensor for Vaidya's radiating metric and Kerr-Newman's solution. Finally, we generalize the definition of square root to a factorization of the Bel-Robinson tensor and get the general solution for all Petrov types.  相似文献

FIFI is an imaging spectrometer with two or three Fabry-Perot interferometers (FPI) in series for airborne astronomical observations in the far-infrared range (=40...200m). It employs 5×5 arrays of photoconducting detectors and offers spectral resolutions as small as 2km/s. Resolution and bandwidth can be set over a wide range to match a variety of astronomical sources. Cryogenic optics minimizes thermal background radiation and provides for in-flight step tunable spatial resolution. At 158 m wavelength the background-limited NEP is 3 × 10-15W/Hz at 40 km/s resolution and with two FPI's; with three FPI's the expected NEP is 10-15WHz at 5 km/s resolution.The frequency-chopping mode of the high-resolution Fabry-Perot allows for line detection in extended objects. Absolute internal flux calibration ensures adequate flat fielding of the array elements.  相似文献

The half-life of64Cu in Cu–Au solid solutions has been measured as a function of the Cu concentration. Relative changes of electron densities (0)/(0) at the Cu nucleus are deduced. The observed nonlinear concentration dependence of (0)/(0) is discussed in terms of volume and charge transfer effects.  相似文献
