The almost complex Lie algebroids over smooth manifolds are considered in the paper. In the first part, we give some examples and we extend some basic results from almost complex manifolds to almost complex Lie algebroids. Next the almost Hermitian Lie algebroids and some related structures on the associated complex Lie algebroid are studied.  相似文献

We investigate Atiyah algebroids, i.e. the infinitesimal objects of principal bundles, from the viewpoint of the Lie algebraic approach to space. First we show that if the Lie algebras of smooth sections of two Atiyah algebroids are isomorphic, then the corresponding base manifolds are necessarily diffeomorphic. Further, we give two characterizations of the isomorphisms of the Lie algebras of sections for Atiyah algebroids associated to principal bundles with semisimple structure groups. For instance we prove that in the semisimple case the Lie algebras of sections are isomorphic if and only if the corresponding Lie algebroids are, or, as well, if and only if the integrating principal bundles are locally isomorphic. Finally, we apply these results to describe the isomorphisms of sections in the case of reductive structure groups—surprisingly enough they are no longer determined by vector bundle isomorphisms and involve dive rgences on the base manifolds.  相似文献

Differential geometry has discovered many objects which determine Lie algebroids playing a role analogous to that of Lie algebras for Lie groups. For example:

--- differential groupoids,

--- principal bundles,

--- vector bundles,

--- actions of Lie groups on manifolds,

--- transversally complete foliations,

--- nonclosed Lie subgroups,

--- Poisson manifolds,

--- some complete closed pseudogroups.

We carry over the idea of Bott's Vanishing Theorem to regular Lie algebroids (using the Chern-Weil homomorphism of transitive Lie algebroids investigated by the author) and, next, apply it to new situations which are not described by the classical version, for example, to the theory of transversally complete foliations and nonclosed Lie subgroups in order to obtain some topological obstructions for the existence of involutive distributions and Lie subalgebras of some types (respectively).

We examine fundamental properties of the universal exotic characteristic homomorphism in the category of Lie algebroids, introduced by the authors in Balcerzak and Kubarski (2012) [4]. The properties under study include: (a) functorial properties with respect to arbitrary morphisms of Lie algebroids, (b) homotopy properties, (c) relationships with the Koszul homomorphism for a pair of isotropy Lie algebras, (d) conditions under which the universal exotic characteristic homomorphism is a monomorphism.  相似文献

We examine Lie (super)algebroids equipped with a homological section, i.e., an odd section that ‘self-commutes’, we refer to such Lie algebroids as inner Q-algebroids: these provide natural examples of suitably “superised” Q-algebroids in the sense of Mehta. Such Lie algebroids are a natural generalisation of Q-manifolds and Lie superalgebras equipped with a homological element. Amongst other results, we show that, via the derived bracket formalism, the space of sections of an inner Q-algebroid comes equipped with an odd Loday–Leibniz bracket.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce the notion of a left‐symmetric algebroid, which is a generalization of a left‐symmetric algebra from a vector space to a vector bundle. The left multiplication gives rise to a representation of the corresponding sub‐adjacent Lie algebroid. We construct left‐symmetric algebroids from ‐operators on Lie algebroids. We study phase spaces of Lie algebroids in terms of left‐symmetric algebroids. Representations of left‐symmetric algebroids are studied in detail. At last, we study deformations of left‐symmetric algebroids, which could be controlled by the second cohomology class in the deformation cohomology.  相似文献

A VB-algebroid is essentially defined as a Lie algebroid object in the category of vector bundles. There is a one-to-one correspondence between VB-algebroids and certain flat Lie algebroid superconnections, up to a natural notion of equivalence. In this setting, we are able to construct characteristic classes, which in special cases reproduce characteristic classes constructed by Crainic and Fernandes. We give a complete classification of regular VB-algebroids, and in the process we obtain another characteristic class of Lie algebroids that does not appear in the ordinary representation theory of Lie algebroids.  相似文献

This paper is a continuation of [19], [21], [22]. We study flat connections with isolated singularities in some transitive Lie algebroids for which either ℝ or sl(2, ℝ) or so(3) are isotropy Lie algebras. Under the assumption that the dimension of the isotropy Lie algebra is equal to n + 1, where n is the dimension of the base manifold, we assign to any such isolated singularity a real number called an index. For ℝ-Lie algebroids, this index cannot be an integer. We prove the index theorem (the Euler-Poincaré-Hopf theorem for flat connections) saying that the index sum is independent of the choice of a connection. Multiplying this index sum by the orientation class of M, we get the Euler class of this Lie algebroid. Some integral formulae for indices are given.  相似文献

We introduce Riemannian Lie algebroids as a generalization of Riemannian manifolds and we show that most of the classical tools and results known in Riemannian geometry can be stated in this setting. We give also some new results on the integrability of Riemannian Lie algebroids.  相似文献

We study the family of vertex algebras associated with vertex algebroids, constructed by Gorbounov, Malikov, and Schechtman. As the main result, we classify all the (graded) simple modules for such vertex algebras and we show that the equivalence classes of graded simple modules one-to-one correspond to the equivalence classes of simple modules for the Lie algebroids associated with the vertex algebroids. To achieve our goal, we construct and exploit a Lie algebra from a given vertex algebroid.  相似文献

Motivated by a search for Lie group structures on groups of Poisson diffeomorphisms, we investigate linearizability of Poisson structures of Poisson groupoids around the unit section. After extending the Lagrangian neighbourhood theorem to the setting of cosymplectic Lie algebroids, we establish that dual integrations of triangular bialgebroids are always linearizable. Additionally, we show that the (non-dual) integration of a triangular Lie bialgebroid is linearizable whenever the r-matrix is of so-called cosymplectic type. The proof relies on the integration of a triangular Lie bialgebroid to a symplectic LA-groupoid, and in the process we define interesting new examples of double Lie algebroids and LA-groupoids. We also show that the product Poisson groupoid can only be linearizable when the Poisson structure on the unit space is regular.  相似文献

Interpreting Lie algebroid theory in terms of -modules, we define a duality functor for a Lie algebroid as well as a direct image functor for a morphism of Lie algebroids. Generalizing the work of Schneiders (see also the work of Schapira-Schneiders) and making assumptions analog to his, we show that the duality functor and the direct image functor commute. As an application, we extend to Lie algebroids some duality properties already known for Lie algebras. Received December 12, 1997; in final form April 8, 1998  相似文献

Natural affine analogs of Lie brackets on affine bundles are studied. In particular, a close relation to Lie algebroids and a duality withcertain affine analog of Poisson structure is established as well asaffine versions of complete lifts and Cartan exterior calculi.  相似文献

Due to a result by Mackenzie, extensions of transitive Lie groupoids are equivalent to certain Lie groupoids which admit an action of a Lie group. This paper is a treatment of the equivariant connection theory and holonomy of such groupoids, and shows that such connections give rise to the transition data necessary for the classification of their respective Lie algebroids.  相似文献

In this paper we extend the theory of last multipliers as solutions of the Liouville’s transport equation to Lie algebroids with their top exterior power as trivial line bundle (previously developed for vector fields and multivectors). We define the notion of exact section and the Liouville equation on Lie algebroids. The aim of the present work is to develop the theory of this extension from the tangent bundle algebroid to a general Lie algebroid (e.g. the set of sections with a prescribed last multiplier is still a Gerstenhaber subalgebra). We present some characterizations of this extension in terms of Witten and Marsden differentials.  相似文献

We study a few basic properties of Banach–Lie groupoids and algebroids, adapting some classical results on finite dimensional Lie groupoids. As an illustration of the general theory, we show that the notion of locally transitive Banach–Lie groupoid sheds fresh light on earlier research on some infinite-dimensional manifolds associated with Banach algebras.  相似文献

We prove a general integrability result for matched pairs of Lie algebroids. (Matched pairs of Lie algebras are also known as double Lie algebras or twilled extensions of Lie algebras.) The method used is an extension of a method introduced by Lu and Weinstein in the case of Poisson Lie groups, and yields double groupoids which satisfy an étale form of the vacancy condition.  相似文献
