LHAASO-WCDA is a large ground-based water Cherenkov detector array planned to be built at ShangriLa, Yunnan Province, China. As a major component of the LHAASO project, the main purpose of LHAASO-WCDA is to survey the northern sky for very-high-energy(above 100 GeV) gamma ray sources and measure the spectrum. To gain full knowledge of the water Cherenkov technique and to investigate the engineering issues, a 9-cell detector array has been built at the Yang-Ba-Jing site, neighboring the ARGO-YBJ experiment. With the array, charge calibration methods for both low and high ranges of the PMT readout are studied, whose result shows that a precision at several percentages can be reached, which can satisfy the requirement of the detector array. During the long term operation, the charge calibration stability and environmental afection are studied; in this paper, the results are discussed. These calibration methods are proposed to be applied in the future LHAASO-WCDA project.  相似文献

The energy structure and nature of intramolecular charge transfer have been determined for a series of synthesized 2,6-polyphenylquinolines (PPQs) containing resorcinol, oxygen, and phenylamine bridging groups between phenylquinoline cycles and possessing an arylene radical in the form of alkylated derivatives of carbazole or indolo[3,2-b]carbazole, as well as arylated derivatives of carbazole with nitro- and fluorine substituents. The analysis was based on data on their absorption spectra, photosensitivity, carrier photogeneration quantum efficiency, and luminescence. It is shown that the PPQ monomeric unit is a composite intramolecular charge-transfer complex (ICTC) between the donor arylene fragment and the acceptor quinoline cycle; the latter, in turn, is an ICTC between the donor bridging group and quinoline ring (when acceptor fluorine or nitro substituents are introduced into the carbazole structure, the complex becomes ternary), and the narrowest band gap (2.3 eV) corresponds to the PPQ having a phenylamine bridging group and a fragment of indolo[3,2-b]carbazole.  相似文献

Using Langevin simulations, we have investigated numerically the depinning dynamics of driven two-dimensional colloids subject to the randomly distributed point-like pinning centres. With increasing strength of pinning, we find a crossover from elastic to plastic depinnings, accompanied by an order to disorder transition of state and a substantial increase in the depinning force. In the elastic regime, no peaks are found in the differential curves of the velocity-force dependence (VFD) and the transverse motion is almost none. In addition, the scaling relationship between velocity and force is found to be valid above depinning. However, when one enters the plastic regime, a peak appears in the differential curves of VFD and transverse diffusion occurs above depinning. Furthermore, history dependence is found in the plastic regime.  相似文献

The structural properties of water at different temperatures and pressures have been investigated by using a flexible water model and the inherent structure mechanism. The presence of 60$^\circ$ peak in the O--O--O angle distribution function and the behaviours of the hydrogen bonds in the first shell indicate that some water molecules in the second shell move toward the central molecules through the bending (not breaking) of hydrogen bonds and even become first-shell molecules of the central molecule on the basis of the O--O cutoff distance but not first-shell molecules by means of the hydrogen-bond criterion. The inherent-structure analysis of the O--O radial distribution functions at different pressures shows that the first peak is almost independent of the pressure; the position of second peak moves from 0.45 to 0.32nm as the pressure increases from $1\times 10^5$Pa to $1\times 10^9$Pa. This particularly evident pressure effect, i.e. the constant nearest-neighbours and the transformation of outer-neighbours on the basis of O--O distance, together with the results at different temperatures, gives a positive evidence for the two-state outer-neighbour mixture model: liquid water is a mixture of Ice-Ih-type-bonding and Ice-II-type bonding structures.  相似文献

The transverse flow of positively charged kaons from heavy-ion collisions at intermediate energy is investigated within the framework of the quantum molecular dynamics model.The calculated results whow that the experimental data are only consistent with those including the kaon mean-field potential from the chiral Lagrangian.This indicates that the transverse flow pattern of kaons is a useful probe of the kaon potential in a nuclear medium.  相似文献

Near field optical properties and surface plasmon resonances on a pair of silver-shell nanocylinder and nanochain waveguides with different core–shell patterns which interact with incident plane wave along chain axis are numerically investigated by using the finite element method. Simulation results show that the peak wavelengths and resonant field enhancements are highly tunable by using the nanoshell particles instead of solid ones, revealing a critical relationship among the wavelengths and illuminated direction of incident light, interparticle spacing, radii, and medium of dielectric holes and the patterns of chain waveguides. Besides, nanochain waveguides with different patterns of core–shell that are operated on resonant multipolar modes can provide higher propagation intensities and the transmission ability can be increased by decreasing the size of nanocylinders along the chain axis.  相似文献

A novel read-only super-resolution optical disc structure (substrate/mask layer/dielectric layer) is proposed in this paper. By using a Si thin film as the mask layer, the recording pits with a diameter 380nm and a depth 50nm are read out on the dynamic measuring equipment; the laser wavelength α is 632.8nm and the numerical aperture is 0.40. In the course of reproduction, the laser power is 5mW and the rotation velocity of the disc is 4m·s-1. The optimum thickness of the Si thin film is 18nm and the signal-to-noise ratio is 32dB.  相似文献

We present a numerical investigation of quantum mechanical tunneling process in a double well potential with fluctuating barrier. The tunneling probability and rate are calculated for two cases in which (i) the height of the barrier is undergoing harmonic oscillation with frequency θ and (ii) the height of the barrier is undergoing random fluctuation with frequency θ. It is observed that in both cases, the quantum mechanical tunneling probability and rate exhibit a maximum as a function of the fluctuation frequency. The optimal frequency i.e. the frequency at which rate exhibits a maximum shows a strong isotopic mass effect.  相似文献

Measurement of the heavy neutral MSSM Higgs bosons H and A production in the process γγA/Hb at the Photon Linear Collider [1,2] has been considered in two independent analyses for the parameter range corresponding to the so-called ‘LHC wedge’. Significantly different conclusions were obtained; signal-to-background ratio 36 vs. 2. Here assumptions and results of these two analyses are compared. We have found that differences in the final results are mainly due to different assumptions on γγ-luminosity spectra, jet definitions and selection cuts.   相似文献

Chiral liquid crystals have been investigated by means of a multicanonical Monte Carlo approach in order to characterize their phase behaviour by microcanonical equilibrium properties. The liquid crystals were described by three-dimensional lattice systems with intermolecular interactions given by the chiral Lebwohl-Lasher potential. Self-determined boundary conditions have been applied in order to enable the formation of chiral phases with equilibrium pitch. Selected thermodynamic properties, e.g. microcanonical entropy, temperature, heat capacity and a set of order parameters have been determined with dependence on microcanonical total energy. A cholesteric phase with temperature-induced helix inversion could be proven where the helical superstructure of the single component system studied changed its handedness through an infinite-pitch system. The thermodynamical behaviour in the microcanonical ensemble was found to be very similar to the behaviour in the canonical ensemble. The study of microcanonical equilibrium properties by means of multicanonical Monte Carlo simulations was shown to be a powerful tool for the study of the phase behaviour of model liquid crystals.  相似文献
