When Bd{\mathcal{B}_d} is equipped with a dynamically natural Gromov–Hausdorff topology, the map π becomes continuous and a homeomorphism on the shift locus. Let f be a complex polynomial mapping. We relate the behaviour of f at infinity to the characteristic cycle associated to the projective closures of fibres of f. We obtain a condition on the characteristic cycle which is equivalent to a condition on the asymptotic behaviour of some of the minors of the Jacobian matrix of f. This condition generalizes the condition in the hypersurface case known as Malgrange's condition. The relation between this condition and the behavior of the characteristic cycle is a partial generalization of Parusinski's result in the hypersurface case. In this paper, we study the appearance of limit cycles from the equator and isochronicity of infinity in polynomial vector fields with no singular points at infinity. We give a recursive formula to compute the singular point quantities of a class of cubic polynomial systems, which is used to calculate the first seven singular point quantities. Further, we prove that such a cubic vector field can have maximal seven limit cycles in the neighborhood of infinity. We actually and construct a system that has seven limit cycles. The positions of these limit cycles can be given exactly without constructing the Poincare cycle fields. The technique employed in this work is essentially different from the previously widely used ones. Finally, the isochronous center conditions at infinity are given. 相似文献

A finite semigroup S is said to preserve finite generation (resp., presentability) in direct products, provided that, for every infinite semigroup T, the direct product S × T is finitely generated (resp., finitely presented) if and only if T is finitely generated (resp., finitely presented). The main result of this paper is a constructive necessary and sufficient condition for S to preserve both finite generation and presentability in direct products. The condition is that certain graphs, (s), one for each s S, are all connected. Then it is shown that for $r \geq 2$, the Rees quotient semigroup $DP_r(n)= D(n,r) / D(n,r-1)$ (${\cal C}P_r(n)= {\cal C}(n,r)/{\cal C} (n,r-1)$) is an ${\cal R}$-trivial (${\cal J}$-trivial) idempotent-generated 0*-bisimple primitive abundant semigroup. The order of ${\cal C}P_r(n)$ is shown to be $1+ \left(\begin{array}{c} n-1 \\ r-1 \end{array} \right) \left(\begin{array}{c} n \\ r \end{array} \right)/(n-r+1)$. Finally, the rank and idempotent ranks of ${\cal C}P_r(n)\,(r<n)$ are both shown to be equal to $\left(\begin{array}{c} n-1 \\ r-1 \end{array} \right)$. 相似文献
