研究了利用光辐照法制作光折变波导时LiNbO3:Fe晶体中折射率变化的规律.分别采用波长为6328nm和532nm的寻常偏振和非常偏振的细激光束和片状激光束,在LiNbO3:Fe晶体中进行了写入波导实验.研究表明,制作波导的写入光宜采用寻常偏振光.在利用由光束辐照LiNbO3:Fe晶体形成的正折射率变化区域作为波导结构时,必须严格控制辐照时间.否则,由于长时间光辐照会带来较强的噪音栅以及折射率变化区域会发生扩展,而难以形成优 质波导.利用片光在“三明治”方式辐照下,以小曝光量制作波导时,可以避免噪音栅的

Ring-shaped photoinduced light scattering in pure and iron-doped lithium niobate crystals is found and studied under irradiation by a laser beam directed perpendicularly to the optic axis of the crystal. The scattering is observed in the directions of both reflected and transmitted pump beams. The structure and kinetics of the reported photorefractive scattering suggest that the phase-matching condition should be fulfilled in the vector interaction of the pump and scattered beams. 相似文献

In LiNbO3:Fe,Me crystals (Me = K, Mg, Zn) elementary holograms are recorded and erased with frequency-doubled, ordinarily polarized pulses of a Q-switched Nd:YAG laser. At high light intensities (I > 109 Wm–2) holographic sensitivities and saturation values of refractive index changes grow with increasing intensity and a contribution to photo-conductivity appears increasing quadratically withI. The intensity-dependent parts of the holographic quantities are diminished by increasing the lithium content of the samples or by doping the crystals with magnesium or zinc. Experimental results can be described by a two-center charge transport model, which is the Fe2+/3+ model supplemented by shallow traps, namely niobium ions occupying lithium sites. 相似文献

研究了非相干辐照对LiNbO3:Fe晶体中从自散焦到自聚焦的动态转换过程的影响和控制作用.无论是从前向还是从背向加入非相干辐照,都能加快自散焦、自聚焦过程以及从自散焦到自聚焦的转换过程,增大折射率的变化值.当非相干辐照以一定的时间间隔重复辐照在晶体上时,透射功率能迅速地上升和下降,具有明显的开关效应.这种在非相干辐照控制下折射率的迅速改变有望应用于全光学开关器件.

Holographic storage properties of iron-doped and cerium/iron-doped LiNbO3 with different doping concentrations and treatment conditions have been measured for different recording wavelengths. We use holographic techniques for the investigation of strongly oxidized LiNbO3:Fe crystals with small Fe2+ concentrations and compare the results with theoretical predictions. Experimental evidence is presented for enhanced phase shifts between light intensity pattern and refractive index grating and for limitations of optically induced space charge fields in photovoltaic crystals due to the low concentration of filled traps. Our findings do not support the model of a nonlocal photovoltaic effect in LiNbO3. 相似文献

We report on an experimental and numerical investigation of the process of spontaneous optical vortices nucleation in a wave front of a laser beam passed through a photorefractive LiNbO3 : Fe crystal with self-induced nonlinear lens. The complex lens structure produces mainly defocusing of the beam passing through the crystal due to a negative variation of the refractive index, whereas side parts of the lens have a positive sign of refractive-index variation and partially focus the beam. The resulting wave-front distortions lead to a phase bifurcation occurring at a certain distance after the crystal when the amplitude of the light wave becomes zero. We study in detail the process of edge dislocation nucleation and its decay in the near field producing a pair of unity-charged opposite-sign screw dislocations. After birth, they spread along dislocation axes as stable objects. 相似文献

A series of Zr:Fe:LiNbO3 crystals with various levels of ZrO2 doping were grown by Czochraski technique. The optical damage resistance and photorefractive properties were deeply explored. The results showed that the ability optical damage resistance increased remarkably when the concentration of ZrO2 is over threshold concentration, but which is lower than that of traditional damage resistant additive MgO. While, the holographic storage properties can be greatly enhanced by proper level of ZrO2 doping in Fe:LiNbO3. In terms of ions' site occupation model, the photo-damage resistant ability enhancement and the change of the photorefractive properties were discussed. 相似文献
