应用Yethiraj的加权密度近似泛函理论研究平板狭缝中方阱链流体的密度分布,系统的Helm holtz自由能泛函分为理想气体的贡献利剩余贡献两部分,其中剩余贡献部分分别采用刘洪 来等人建立的基于空穴相关函数的方阱链流体状态方程和Gil-Villegas等人提出的统计缔合 流体理论状态方程(SAFT-VR)结合简单加权密度近似计算.考察了不同链长、温度、系统密度 和壁面吸引强度下平板狭缝中方阱链流体的密度分布,并与Monte Carlo(MC)模拟结果进行 了比较.结果表明采用不同的状态方程对密度分布的计算有明显的影响,对于受限于硬壁狭 缝中的方阱链流体,温度和密度比较高时,两种状态方程计算的结果均与MC模拟符合得比较 好,在低温和低密度下效果变差,SAFT-VR方程的计算结果更接近于MC模拟结果.对于受限于 方阱壁狭缝中的方阱链流体,由于系统密度分布的非均匀性加强,采用两种状态方程计算的 结果均与MC模拟结果有一定偏差,寻找更合适的权重函数是进一步改进的关键. 关键词: 密度泛函理论 非均匀流体 密度分布 固液界面 方阱链  相似文献

ABSTRACT

A new density functional for the study of associating inhomogeneous fluids based on Wertheim's first-order thermodynamic perturbation theory is presented and compared to the most currently used associating density functionals. This functional is developed using the weighted density approximation in the range of association of hard spheres. We implement this functional within the framework of classical density functional theory together with modified fundamental measure theory to account for volume exclusion of hard spheres. This approach is tested against molecular simulations from literature of pure associating hard spheres and mixtures of non-associationg and associating hard spheres with different number of bonding sites close to a hard uniform wall. Furthermore, we compare and review our results with the performance of associating functionals from literature, one based on fundamental measure theory and the inhomogeneous version of Wertheim's perturbation theory. Results obtained with classical DFT and the three functionals show excellent agreement with molecular simulations in systems with one hard wall. For the cases of small pores where only one or two layers of fluid are allowed discrepancies between results with classical DFT and molecular simulations were found.  相似文献

The excess Helmholtz free energy functional for nonpolar chain-like molecules is formulated in terms of a weighted density approximation (WDA) for short-range interactions and a Weaks Chandler Andersen (WCA) approximation and a Barker Henderson (BH) theory for long-range attraction. Within the framework of density functional theory (DFT), vapour liquid interracial properties including density profile and surface tension, and vapour-liquid nucleation properties including density profile, work of formation and number of particles are investigated for spherical and chain- like molecules. The obtained vapour liquid surface tension and the number of particles in critical nucleus for Lennard- Jones (L J) fluids are consistent with the simulation results. The influences of supersaturation, temperature and chain length on vapour liquid nucleation properties are discussed.[第一段]  相似文献

Using the framework of Wertheim's thermodynamic perturbation theory, a new polyatomic density functional theory is developed to account for the intermolecular association of cyclic molecules in interfacial systems. To test the theory, Monte Carlo simulations in the canonical ensemble were performed for the specific case of an associating triatomic ring with one association site next to a hard wall. The theory and simulation results were found to be in good agreement.  相似文献

We investigate the local polarisability or polarisability density using both a conceptual density functional theory approach based on the linear response function and time-dependent density functional theory. Using a zero frequency in the latter, we can immediately compare both approaches. Using an analytical expression for the linear response kernel, we are able to systematically analyse α(r) throughout the periodic table. An extension to molecules is also made with a study of the CO molecule retrieving the connection between local softness and local polarisability.  相似文献

A general framework of classical non-local density functional theory (NLDFT) is presented, in order to consider the adsorption of spherical molecules in porous materials of any geometry. Fluid-fluid interactions and fluid-solid interactions can be repulsive or attractive. Some techniques that have been developed for the computation of weighted densities of hard-spheres are extended to attractive ones, in order to deal with an arbitrary pore geometry. This way, the computation method introduced in this work is validated by a comparison with analytical results for simple cases, and is directly applied to more complex systems. Density distributions depending on multi-dimensional effects are presented, and some radial distribution functions are recovered from NLDFT computations. Finally, the case of attractive continuous curved walls is detailed, which represents a large variety of real systems (e.g. micro and mesoporous silica, zeolites, carbonaceous nanoporous materials, etc.). With the new way of computation proposed, a general solution is presented, valid for any shape of continuous pore surface, by considering mathematical properties of discrete geometry due to the discretisation of the computational space with FFT computations.  相似文献

It is shown that the variational principle for the grand potential of a nonuniform fluid as a functional of the singlet density yields the potential distribution theory for the equilibrium density. We derive the explicit form that the functional takes for a system of hard rods, and propose an approximate one for hard spheres. Attractive interactions are also considered in mean-field approximation. In all cases the pair direct correlation function of the nonuniform system is obtained and the density gradient expansion of the free energy is investigated.  相似文献

利用过渡金属掺杂的硅基团簇, 构建了一种自旋分子结; 并利用第一性原理方法, 对其电子自旋极化输运性质进行了研究. 计算表明, 通过过渡金属掺杂可以有效地产生自旋极化电流, 磁性金属Fe和非磁性金属Cr和Mn掺杂的体系呈现出较明显的自旋极化透射现象, 但分子结的自旋极化输运能力与团簇孤立状态下的磁矩无一致性.从Sc到Ni的掺杂, 体系的自旋极化透射能力先增大后迅速减小, 在Fe掺杂的Si12团簇中出现最大值. 关键词: 硅团簇 自旋极化输运 密度泛函理论 非平衡格林函数  相似文献

In this paper, the non-local density functional theory is used in combination with SAFT-VR, to investigate the pore pressure behaviour of water confined in various nanopores. Due to the efficiency and low computational cost of the method, many configurations and thermodynamic conditions are explored. In particular, capillary condensation and evaporation of water, their impact on the pore pressure, and the effect of surface activation are evaluated. Successive first-order phase transitions of ultra-confined water monolayer are also highlighted.  相似文献

采用第一原理对以Cu为心的低能稳态Cu_nZ_(r13-n)(n=6,7,8,9)二十面体团簇的电子结构进行计算,结果表明:同一化学组分下,以Cu为心的Cu-Zr二十面体团簇中出现的同类原子聚集现象可以增强团簇的稳定性,降低费米能级(EF)上的电子数N(EF),这为低能稳态团簇拥有较小的N(EF)提供了深层次的理论解释.进一步的差分电子密度与Mulliken布居分析得知,Cu-Zr二十面体中共价键与离子键共存,成键态与反键态共存,且团簇在形成时壳层Zr与中心Cu原子是电子的提供者,壳层Cu是电子的获得者.该电荷转移方向是金属玻璃中以Cu为心的Cu-Zr二十面体团簇普遍遵循的规律,不随团簇的化学序参数及化学组分的变化而变化.计算的红外振动谱为实验上准确表征不同二十面体原子团提供了一种新的思路.  相似文献

用密度泛函理论(DFT)的杂化密度泛函B3LYP方法在6-31G(d)基组水平上对MgO纳米管团簇的二元环双管、三元环、三元环双管三种构型共21个团簇进行优化,对各构型的平均结合能、能隙、平均原子电荷以及总电荷密度进行了理论研究. 结果表明,平均结合能和配位数呈线性关系;随着纳米管的生长,团簇的稳定性增加,其中以三元环纳米管最为稳定;生长过程中发生原子间的电荷转移现象,预测出至无限长时的平均原子电荷分别为1298,1270,1306;混合离子共价键始终存在于MgO纳米管团簇之中. 关键词: 氧化镁 纳米管团簇 密度泛函理论 电子结构  相似文献

This study aims to understand the complexation of uranyl with amidoxime in aqueous solution under different pH levels using density functional theory calculations. The geometries, relative stabilities of complexes, and changes in Gibbs free energies for different complexing reactions were investigated. Amidoximate ions were gradually added to the equatorial plane of uranyl to understand the complexation process. We modelled the effect of pH by varying the number of OH? and H2O ligands accompanying amidoximate ions in the equatorial plane of uranyl. The ?2 binding motif was the most favourable form, regardless of the uranyl/amidoximate ratio and the pH level. Compared with low and high pH, neutral pH condition was more beneficial to the complexation of uranyl with amidoxime.  相似文献

The rapid miniaturization of electronic devices motivates research interests in quantum transport. Recently time-dependent quantum transport has become an important research topic. Here we review recent progresses in the development of time-dependent density-functional theory for quantum transport including the theoretical foundation and numerical algorithms. In particular, the reducedsingle electron density matrix based hierarchical equation of motion, which can be derived from Liouville–von Neumann equation, is reviewed in details. A density functional theory (DFT) is used to investigate molecular orientation of hard rod fluids in a hard slit. The DFT approach combines a modified fundamental measure theory (MFMT) for excluded-volume effect with the first order thermodynamics perturbation theory for chain connectivity. In the DFT approach, the intra-molecular bonding orientation function is introduced. We consider the effects of molecular length (i.e. aspect ratio of rod) and packing fraction on the orientations of hard rod fluids and flexible chains. For the flexible chains, the chain length has no significant effect while the packing fraction shows slight effect on the molecular orientation distribution. In contrast, for the hard rod fluids, the chain length determines the molecular orientation distribution, while the packing fraction has no significant effect on the molecular orientation distribution. By making a comparison between molecular orientations of the flexible chain and the hard rod fluid, we find that the molecular stiffness distinctly affects the molecular orientation. In addition, partitioning coefficient indicates that the longer rodlike molecule is more difficult to enter the confined phase, especially at low bulk packing fractions.  相似文献

采用密度泛函理论方法研究了三种imogolite类(未取代、NH2取代和F取代)纳米管的直径单分散性及表面电荷的分布情况, 并从键长方面定性地解释了直径单分散性的原因. 我们给出了IMO, IMO_NH2和IMO_F的应变能曲线, 结果表明三种纳米管结构的最稳定管径值按照IMO < IMO_NH2 < IMO_F的顺序递增, 而imogolite类纳米管直径单分散性是由于管径的增大导致内部Si–O, Al–O键与外部Al-OH键键长变化趋势相反造成的, 总之是内部Si–O, Al–O 键和外部Al–OH键相互作用的结果. 此外, 对三种稳定的纳米管结构做了Mulliken布局分析, 并总结了纳米管直径变化对表面电荷的影响. 结果表明正电荷主要积聚在外表面, 而内表面则感应出负电荷, 同时随着纳米管直径的增大表面电荷逐渐增加, 揭示了表面电荷与管径大小的关系. 研究表明, 可以通过改变imogolite内表面不同的官能化取代来控制纳米管直径, 进而调节表面电荷的分布情况, 这在imogolite类材料的分子设计及应用方面有着重要意义.  相似文献

过去几十年中,原子核物理的相对论密度泛函理论得到很大发展,可以成功地描述各种原子核现象。文章阐述在相对论框架下研究原子核多体问题的必要性,介绍原子核物理中相对论密度泛函理论的基本概念,回顾相对论密度泛函理论在描述原子核基态、手征转动和动力学过程等方面的应用,讨论基于原子核物理的相对论第一性原理研究,即完全自洽的相对论Brueckner—Hartree—Fock理论,构建微观普适的密度泛函的基本思想。  相似文献
