To understand the thermodynamic and magnetic properties of the dilute antiferromagnetic Ising model on a triangular lattice, the Wang–Landau algorithm is applied to perform a Monte Carlo simulation. Based on the simulated density of states, the thermodynamic and magnetic behaviors of system with different dilute concentrations are evaluated, and compared to explore the dilute modulation of spin frustration. It is revealed that for the typical frustrated triangular system, a little dilution can lift the degeneracy of ground states greatly, weaken the frustration-induced relaxation, and consequently influence the thermodynamic and magnetic behaviors of system.  相似文献

The tJ model is analysed in the limit of strong anisotropy, where the transverse components of electron spin are neglected. We propose a slave-particle-type approach that is valid, in contradiction to many of the standard approaches, in the low-doping regime and becomes exact for a half-filled system. We describe an effective method that allows to numerically study the system with the no-double-occupancy constraint rigorously taken into account at each lattice site. Then, we use this approach to demonstrate the destruction of the antiferromagnetic order by increasing the doping and formation of Nagaoka polarons in the strong interaction regime.  相似文献

In this work we study the correlation function of the ground state of two-dimensional fully frustrated Ising model as well as spin glass. The Pfaffian method is used to calculate free energy and entropy as well as correlation function. We estimate the exponent of spin correlation function for fully frustrated model and spin glass. In this paper an overview of the latest results on the spin correlation function is presented.  相似文献

Numerical and analytical results are presented for the magnetic ordering in a bond-diluted spin-1/2 and spin-1 mixed transverse Ising system with a single-ion anisotropy on a honeycomb lattice.Special emphsis is placed on the magnetic ordering under the bond dilution and percolation threshold. We discuss in detail the influence of transverse fields of different sublattics on the normal magnetic ordering and on the magnetic ordering induced by single-lon anisotropy. We find that the magnetic ordering of a system exhibits an explicit difference when receiving the transverse field. This phenomenon has not been revealed in previous reports.  相似文献

The modeling of the lightning channel's propagation has been a major issue in lightning protection. Several solutions are already existing based on different assumptions revealing different properties of the lightning, including return strokes, the orientation point (and distance), and several other factors. The path of the lightning channel however is very hard to model using the physical equations and laws only, since a lot of the boundary conditions and starting conditions are unknown. Thus for these purposes the probabilistic approach is practically used. In this paper a lightning path simulation method is shown based on a probabilistic approach. The lightning path is mainly influenced by the electric field, and the existence of the start electrons. These conditions can't always be calculated, thus in many cases a probabilistic model shall be used. The model proposed in this article has a modular approach, it consists of several components. Each of these components can be improved based on existing theories, and empirical data, and this makes this simulation method – besides the realization – “open source”, as the components can be improved individually. At this stage of the development, many lightning parameters are yet omitted, but the model structure of course allows further improvement on this field as well.  相似文献

Using the mean-field theory and Glauber-type stochastic dynamics, we study the dynamic magnetic properties of the mixed spin (2, 5/2) Ising system for the antiferromagnetic/antiferromagnetic (AFM/AFM) interactions on the bilayer square lattice under a time varying (sinusoidal) magnetic field. The time dependence of average magnetizations and the thermal variation of the dynamic magnetizations are examined to calculate the dynamic phase diagrams. The dynamic phase diagrams are presented in the reduced temperature and magnetic field amplitude plane and the effects of interlayer coupling interaction on the critical behavior of the system are investigated. We also investigate the influence of the frequency and find that the system displays richer dynamic critical behavior for higher values of frequency than that of the lower values of it. We perform a comparison with the ferromagnetic/ferromagnetic (FM/FM) and AFM/FM interactions in order to see the effects of AFM/AFM interaction and observe that the system displays richer and more interesting dynamic critical behaviors for the AFM/AFM interaction than those for the FM/FM and AFM/FM interactions.  相似文献

An overview of the mathematical structure of the three-dimensional(3D) Ising model is given from the points of view of topology, algebra, and geometry.By analyzing the relationships among transfer matrices of the 3D Ising model,Reidemeister moves in the knot theory,Yang-Baxter and tetrahedron equations, the following facts are illustrated for the 3D Ising model.1) The complex quaternion basis constructed for the 3D Ising model naturally represents the rotation in a(3+1)-dimensional space-time as a relativistic quantum statistical mechanics model, which is consistent with the 4-fold integrand of the partition function obtained by taking the time average.2) A unitary transformation with a matrix that is a spin representation in 2 n·l·o-space corresponds to a rotation in 2n·l·o-space,which serves to smooth all the crossings in the transfer matrices and contributes the non-trivial topological part of the partition function of the 3D Ising model.3) A tetrahedron relationship would ensure the commutativity of the transfer matrices and the integrability of the 3D Ising model, and its existence is guaranteed by the Jordan algebra and the Jordan-von Neumann-Wigner procedures.4) The unitary transformation for smoothing the crossings in the transfer matrices changes the wave functions by complex phases φx,φy,and φz.The relationship with quantum field and gauge theories and the physical significance of the weight factors are discussed in detail. The conjectured exact solution is compared with numerical results, and the singularities at/near infinite temperature are inspected. The analyticity in β=1/(kBT) of both the hard-core and the Ising models has been proved only for β0,not for β=0.Thus the high-temperature series cannot serve as a standard for judging a putative exact solution of the 3D Ising model.  相似文献

The Wang–Landau algorithm is used to study the magnetic properties of the Ising model on the Shastry–Sutherland lattice in order to understand the interesting magnetization plateaus observed in TmB4. The simulated results demonstrate that the equilibrium state of the model produces only the 1/3 and 1/2 magnetization plateaus at low temperatures even when the random-exchange term or the long-range interactions are taken into account. This confirms our earlier conclusion (Huang et al., 2013) [20] that those fractional plateaus observed in experiments may be due to the magnetization dynamics.  相似文献

In the present work, we initially verify anisotropy effect on the heat capacity of a mixed-three-spin(1/2,1,1/2) system(where spins(1/2,1/2) have XY interaction and spins(1,1/2) have Ising interaction together) at finite temperatures, then, the pairwise entanglement for spins(1/2,1/2), by means of negativity(as a measure of entanglement) as a function of the temperature T, homogeneous magnetic field B, and anisotropy parameter γ is investigated. In addition, we show that one can find magnetic phase transition points for the spins(1/2,1/2) at finite temperatures and understand properly their behavior with respect to the magnetic field and the anisotropy parameter, via the negativity function. An interval of the magnetic field from the negativity diagram of the spins(1/2,1/2) is presented in which quantum phase transition occurs for the tripartite mixed-three-spin system. Finally, some new interesting entanglement witnesses are introduced by using non-degenerate perturbation theory for the mixed-three-spin system.  相似文献

The magnetization behaviors and spin configurations of the classical Ising model on a Shastry-Sutherland lattice are investigated using Monte Carlo simulations, in order to understand the fascinating magnetization plateaus observed in TmB(4) and other rare-earth tetraborides. The simulations reproduce the 1/2 magnetization plateau by taking into account the dipole-dipole interaction. In addition, a narrow 2/3 magnetization step at low temperature is predicted in our simulation. The multi-step magnetization can be understood as the consequence of the competitions among the spin-exchange interaction, the dipole-dipole interaction, and the static magnetic energy.  相似文献

The distribution of the Fisher zeros in the Kallen–Lehmann approach to three-dimensional Ising model is studied. It is argued that the presence of a non-trivial angle (a cusp) in the distribution of zeros in the complex temperatures plane near the physical singularity is realized through a strong breaking of the 2D Ising self-duality. Remarkably, the realization of the cusp in the Fisher distribution ultimately leads to an improvement of the results of the Kallen–Lehmann ansatz. In fact, excellent agreement with Monte Carlo predictions both at high and at low temperatures is observed. Besides, agreement between both approaches is found for the predictions of the critical exponent α   and of the universal amplitude ratio Δ=A+/AΔ=A+/A, within the 3.5% and 7% of the Monte Carlo predictions, respectively.  相似文献

The deep sub-Ohmic spin–boson model shows a longstanding non-Markovian coherence at low temperature. Motivating to quench this robust coherence, the thermal effect is unitarily incorporated into the time evolution of the model, which is calculated by the adaptive time-dependent density matrix renormalization group algorithm combined with the orthogonal polynomials theory. Via introducing a unitary heating operator to the bosonic bath, the bath is heated up so that a majority portion of the bosonic excited states is occupied. It is found in this situation the coherence of the spin is quickly quenched even in the coherent regime, in which the non-Markovian feature dominates. With this finding we come up with a novel way to implement the unitary equilibration, the essential term of the eigenstate-thermalization hypothesis, through a short-time evolution of the model.  相似文献

Scaling arguments and precise simulations are used to study the square lattice ±J Ising spin glass, a prototypical model for glassy systems. Droplet theory explains, and our numerical results show, entropically stabilized long-range spin-glass order at zero temperature, which resembles the energetic stabilization of long-range order in higher-dimensional models at finite temperature. At low temperature, a temperature-dependent crossover length scale is used to predict the power-law dependence on temperature of the heat capacity and clarify the importance of disorder distributions.  相似文献

Using the finite cluster approximation we study a mixed spin model (spins =1/2 andS=1) on a square lattice with nearest-neighbour and crystal field interactions. The nearest-neighbour couplingsK ij are assumed to be independent random variables with distribution,P(K ij )=p(K ij K)+(1–p)(K ij K), whereK>0. We investigate the cases =0 and =–1 corresponding to bond dilution and to random ±J interactions, respectively. In certain ranges ofp the phase diagrams exhibit tricritical behaviour and reentrance.Supported by the agreement of cooperation between the DFG and the CNR-MarocOn leave from Faculté des Sciences I, Université Hassan II, Casablanca, Morocco; and Laboratoire de Magnétisme Université de Rabat, Morocco  相似文献
