A polymeric silver(I) complex, [Ag4(μ-pydc)2(μ-pm)2]n (1) (pydc = pyridine-3,5-dicarboxylate and pm = pyrimidine), has been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, thermal analysis, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. X-ray crystallographic data of 1 revealed that pydc exhibits two different coordinaton modes that play a key role in the construction of the 3-D crystal network including Ag–carboxylate clusters in which close Ag–Ag distances exist. The magnitudes of close Ag–Ag interactions in second-order energy (E2) have been revealed by natural bond orbital analysis performed with single point energy calculation using the experimental geometry of 1. Furthermore, the luminescent properties of 1 show strong fluorescence with two emission maxima in the visible region. Also, 1 has antifungal activity on Candida albicans (MIC value, 4 μg mL?1) and good antibacterial activity on micro-organisms (MIC value, 64–256 μg mL?1).  相似文献

Two new unsymmetrical copper(II) Schiff base complexes, [CuLn(py)]ClO4 (n = 1, 2) in which Ln represents a tridentate N2O type Schiff base ligand, were synthesized. Lns were derived from monocondensation of meso-1,2-diphenyl-1,2-ethylenediamine with salicylaldehyde or 3-methoxysalicylaldehyde. The reaction between [CuLn(py)]ClO4 and other salicylaldehyde derivatives resulted in new N2O2 unsymmetrical tetradentate CuII complexes, CuL3–6. Crystal structures of [CuL1(py)]ClO4, CuL4, and CuL5 were obtained. These new complexes as well as a series of related symmetrical ones (i.e. CuL7–12) were tested for their in vitro anticancer activity against human liver cancer cell line (Hep-G2) by MTT and apoptosis assay. All of the complexes showed considerable cytotoxic activity against tumor cell lines (IC50 = 5.13–16.24 μg mL?1). The symmetrical CuL7 was the most potent anticancer derivative (IC50 = 5.13 μg mL?1) compared to the control drug 5-FU (IC50 = 5.4 μg mL-1, p < 0.05). Flow cytometry experiments showed that the copper derivatives especially [CuL2(py)]ClO4 and CuL7 induced more apoptosis on Hep-G2 tumor cell lines compared to 5-FU.  相似文献

Seven new mononuclear complexes have been synthesized from 2,4-diiodo-6-propyliminomethyl-phenol in pyridine and Cu(OAc)2 · H2O, Ni(OAc)2 · 4H2O, Co(OAc)2 · 4H2O, Zn(OAc)2 · 2H2O, Cd(OAc)2 · 2H2O, Mn(OAc)2 · 4H2O, and Hg(OAc)2. The complexes were characterized by UV, IR, ESI-MS, and elemental analyses; bis(2,4-diiodo-6-propyliminomethyl-phenol)-pyridine-copper(II) (1) was characterized by X-ray crystallography. The central metal in each complex is five-coordinate by two nitrogens and two oxygens from two 3,5-diiodosalicylaldehyde Schiff-base ligands and one nitrogen from pyridine. The 3,5-diiodosalicylaldehyde Schiff base is bidentate. All the complexes were assayed for antibacterial (Bacillus subtilis, Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus faecalis, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli, and Enterobacter cloacae) activities by the MTT method. Complex 1 showed the most favorable antimicrobial activity with minimum inhibitory concentrations of 6.25, 3.125, 6.25, 3.125, 6.25, 3.125 µg mL?1 against B. subtilis, S. aureus, S. faecalis, P. aeruginosa, E. coli, and E. cloacae, respectively.  相似文献

New cationic tetranuclear Co(II) and neutral binuclear Cu(II) complexes with tpmc (N,N,N″,N″′-tetrakis-(2-pyridylmethyl)-1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetradecane) and bridging pyromellitate ligand pma (tetraanion 1,2,4,5-benzenetetracarboxylic acid) were isolated. The composition of the compounds is proposed based on elemental analyses (C, H, N, M=Cu, Co), molar conductivity determination, UV-Vis, FTIR, EPR, LC-MS and reflectance spectroscopy, magnetic measurements, cyclic voltammetry, as well as TG and DTA. It is proposed that in [Co4(pma)(tpmc)2](ClO4)4·6H2O (1), cobalt(II) is six-coordinate out of cyclam rings and one OCO? from pma participates in coordination with one Co(II). In the case of [Cu2(pma)tpmc]?8H2O (2), one OCO? from pma bridges two Cu(II). The cytotoxic activity of 1 and 2 was tested against tumor cell lines human cervix adenocarcinoma (HeLa), estrogen-receptor-positive human breast cancer (MCF-7), human myelogenous leukemia (K562), and the human Caucasian Burkitt’s lymphoma (Ramos). The IC50 values for 1 and 2 were within the range 44.66 ± 2.39 to 152.40 ± 2.28 μM, and from 140.88 ± 3.51 to 192.05 ± 2.09 μM, respectively. Both 1 and 2 were tested for antimicrobial activity. We determined that minimal inhibitory concentration for 1 against Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus subtilis, and Klebsiella pneumoniae was 25 mM. Complex 2 did not express activity against tested microbial strains.  相似文献

Two new complexes, trans-[MnL2(NCS)2] (1) and trans-[CoL2(H2O)(EtOH)](ClO4)2?·?H2O (2) with asymmetrical triaryltriazole ligands [L?=?3-(p-chlorophenyl)-4-(p-methylphenyl)-5-(2-pyridyl)-1,2,4-triazole], have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, FT-IR, ESI-MS, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. In the complexes each L adopts a chelating bidentate mode via the nitrogen of pyridyl and triazole. Both complexes have a similar distorted octahedral core with two NCS? ions in the trans position in 1, while one H2O and one EtOH are present in the axial sites in 2.  相似文献

A new asymmetrical substituted triazole, 3-phenoxymethyl-4-phenyl-5-(2-pyridyl)-1,2,4-triazole (L) and its complexes, cis-[Cu2 L 2Cl4]·2CH3CN (1) and trans-[CoL 2Cl2]·2H2O·2CH3CN (2), have been synthesized and characterized by IR, single-crystal X-ray diffraction, thermogravimetric analyses and Hirshfeld surfaces. In the structure, two L are mainly stabilized by an intermolecular C–H?N hydrogen bond. In 1 (or 2), each L involves a doubly-bidentate (or chelating bidentate) coordination mode through one pyridine and two nitrogens (or one) of triazole, respectively. Complex 1 has a distorted trigonal bipyramidal [CuN3Cl2] core with two cis Cl? while 2 shows a distorted octahedron [CoN4Cl2] with two trans Cl?. We also prepared molecular Hirshfeld surface and fingerprint plot for L, 1 and 2, which revealed the influence of different metals on coordinate of L.  相似文献

Abstract

Two new oxamate-containing manganese(II) complexes, [{Mn(H2edpba)(H2O)2}2]n (1) and [Mn(H2edpba)(dmso)2]?dmso?CH3COCH3?H2O (2) (H4edpba = N,N′-ethylenediphenylenebis(oxamic acid) and dmso = dimethylsulfoxide), have been synthesized and the structures of 1 and 2 were characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction. The structure of 1 consists of neutral honeycomb networks in which each manganese(II) is six-coordinate by one H2edpba2? ligand and two carboxylate–oxygens from two other H2edpba2? ligands building the equatorial plane. Each manganese is connected to its nearest neighbor through two carboxylate(monoprotonated oxamate) bridges in an anti-syn conformation. A dmso solution of single crystals of 1 was placed under acetone atmosphere affording 2, whereas putting 2 in equimolar water:ethanol mixture results in 1. The molecular structure of 2 is made up of mononuclear manganese(II) units which are interlinked by weak C–H?π and edge-to-face π-stacking interactions leading to supramolecular chains along the crystallographic b axis. Magnetic measurements reveal the occurrence of an antiferromagnetic coupling between two manganese(II) ions through anti-syn carboxylate bridges for 1 [J = ?1.18 cm?1, the Hamiltonian being defined as H = ?J S1.S2] and very weak intrachain ferromagnetic interactions in 2 [J = + 0.046 cm?1, H = ?JiSi.Si + 1].  相似文献

Three Zn(II) complexes, [Zn2(bpp)2(FNA)2]·H2O (1), [Zn(bpp)(FNA)]·H2O (2), and Zn2(bpp)2(FNA)2 (3) (bpp = 1,3-bi(4-pyridyl)propane, H2FNA = 4-nitrobenzene-1,2-dicarboxylic acid), were synthesized and characterized by single-crystal and powder X-ray diffraction methods, IR spectroscopy, TG analyses, elemental analyses, and fluorescent analysis. In 1, the Zn(II) ions are linked by FNA anions and bpp into 2-D layers. The Zn(II) ions in 2 are bridged by FNA anions into chiral chains, which are interlinked by bpp into 3-D metal–organic framework with (65·8) CdS topology. Complex 3 features 1-D zigzag chains, which are interconnected by bpp ligands to give a 3-D framework with (6·74·8)(64·7·8) topology. Complexes 2 and 3 exhibit significant ferroelectric behavior (for 2 remnant polarization Pr = 0.050 μC cm?2, coercive field Ec = 1.13 kV cm?1, saturation of the spontaneous polarization Ps = 0.239 μC cm?2; for 3 Pr = 0.192 μC cm?2, Ec = 4.64 kV cm?1, Ps = 0.298 μC cm?2).  相似文献

A new tridentate ligand, [(2-hydroxy-3,5-diiodo-benzylidene)-amino]-acetic acid (HDBA), has been synthesized from 3,5-diiodosalicylaldehyde and glycine in ethanol. A 1-D coordination polymer has been synthesized by reaction of HDBA with Cu(Ac)2 · H2O in ethanol–water. The complex was characterized by UV, IR, ESI–MS, elemental analyses, and X-ray crystallography. The central copper(II) is five-coordinate by one nitrogen and two oxygens from HDBA, one oxygen from water, and one oxygen from another HDBA. The complex was assayed for antibacterial (Bacillus subtilis, Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus faecalis, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli, and Enterobacter cloacae) activities by the 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyl tetrazolium bromide method. Complex 1 showed favorable antimicrobial activity with minimum inhibitory concentrations of 6.25, 6.25, 3.125, 6.25, 6.25, and 3.125 µg mL?1 against B. subtilis, S. aureus, S. faecalis, P. aeruginosa, E. coli, and E. cloacae, respectively.  相似文献

First Ni(II) ternary complex using the quinolone antibacterial agent enoxacin (HEn) as ligand and 1,10‐phenanthroline as co‐ligand has been synthesized and characterized. It is a mononuclear structure, in which enoxacin acts as a bidentate ligand bound to the metal through the ketone oxygen and a carboxylate oxygen atom. The complex exhibited good binding propensity to human and bovine serum albumin proteins having relatively high binding constants (6.40×104 and 7.12×104, respectively). The investigation of the interaction of the complex with calf‐thymus (CT) DNA has been performed with UV and circular dichroism (CD) spectroscopies, indicating that they bind to CT DNA probably by the intercalative binding mode. The binding constant (Kb) of the complex with CT DNA calculated with UV is 2.03×105, which is higher than that of free enoxacin drug (2.09×104) and even higher than that of typical intercalation indicator (1.23×105) of ethidium bromide (EB). Fluorescence competitive studies with EB have revealed that the complex exhibited the ability to displace the DNA‐bound EB using the intercalative binding site. In addition, the antimicrobial activity showed that the complex exhibited a little bit good inhibition (MIC=1.843 (g·mL?1) against B. subtilis than free HEn.  相似文献

A new series of Ni(II) complexes, [Ni(L1)2] (1), [Ni(L2)2] (2), [Ni(L3)2] (3), and [Ni(L4)2] (4), were synthesized at ambient temperature. The bidentate Schiff base ligands HL1?4 have been obtained by the condensation reaction of 2-hydroxybenzaldehyde, 5-bromo-2-hydroxybenzaldehyde, 3-methoxy-2-hydroxy-benzaldehyde, and 4-methoxy-2-hydroxy-benzaldehyde, respectively, with 2-methoxyethylamine. The newly synthesized complexes were characterized by elemental analyses, FT-IR and UV–vis spectroscopy. The crystal structures of mononuclear Ni(II) complexes 2 and 3 were determined by the single-crystal X-ray diffraction technique. Electrochemical properties of the complexes were investigated in acetonitrile. The antioxidant properties of the Schiff base ligands and complexes were evaluated by two in vitro tests, DPPH radical scavenging and reducing power. The compounds were screened for their in vitro anticancer potential using gastric cancer cell lines by MTT assay. All ligands and complexes showed considerable cytotoxic activity against cancer cell lines (IC50 = 0.2516–5.468 μg·mL?1). The most promising result was achieved for complex 1 with the best IC50 value of 0.2516 μg·mL?1. It was found that the proliferation rate of MKN-45 cells decreased after treatment with the complexes in a dose-dependent way.  相似文献

A new tetranuclear cubane-like complex, [Ni4(L)4Cl4(H2O)3(EtOH)]·(H2O), has been synthesized from the reaction of a metal salt with the bidentate ligand 2-hydroxymethylpyridine (LH), and its crystal structure, spectroscopic and chromotropic properties have been studied. The complex has a [Ni4O4] core comprising a distorted cubane arrangement, of which four nickel(II) ions were bridged by μ3-alkoxo moieties. Each nickel(II) was coordinated to three μ3-alkoxo oxygens, one pyridine nitrogen and one chloride. The peripheral ligation was completed by an oxygen atom of water or ethanol ligand, which participated in intramolecular hydrogen bonding. Chromotropism properties of the complex including solvato-, thermo-, and ionochromism were investigated. The complex displayed strong ionochromism and shows high-sensitive and selective activity toward CN? and SCN? anions in the presence of other halides and pseudo-halides. The solvatochromic property of the complex was analyzed by a multi-parametric equation using SPSS/PC software. The stepwise multiple linear regression method demonstrated that the acceptor power of the solvent plays the most important role in the observed negative solvatochromism of the compound. It shows reversible thermochromism in solution due to loss of the weakly coordinated water and ethanol from the nickel(II) units.  相似文献

Two Cd(II) coordination polymers constructed from tris(p-carboxylphenyl)phosphine oxide (H3TPO), [Cd(HTPO)(1,4-bix)·3H2O]n (1) and [Cd2(HTPO)(HBPO)(H2O)2]n (2) (1,4-bix = 1,4-bis(imidazol-1-ylmethyl)benzene, H3BPO = bis(4-carboxylphenyl)phosphinic acid), were synthesized and identified by IR, elemental analysis, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. The 1,4-bix ligand leads to 1 as a ladder-like 1D chain structure. In 2, adjacent Cd2 units are bridged by HBPO2– and HTPO2– ligands to form a 3D structure. The H3BPO ligand is formed from the in situ reaction of H3TPO. It is the first example from hydrated Cd(II) salt promoting partial hydrolysis of a phosphine oxide ligand. The thermal behavior and solid-state photoluminescence properties correlated with the corresponding structural features were investigated.  相似文献

Substitution reactions of the dinuclear Pt(II) complexes, [{Pt(en)Cl}2(μ-pz)]2+ (1), [{Pt(dach)Cl}2(μ-pz)]2+ (2) and [{Pt(dach)Cl}2(μ-4,4?-bipy)]2+ (3), and corresponding aqua analogs with selected biologically important ligands, viz. 1,2,4-triazole, L-histidine (L-His) and guanosine-5?-monophosphate (5?-GMP) were studied under pseudo-first-order conditions as a function of concentration and temperature using UV–vis spectrophotometry. The reactions of the chloride complexes were followed in aqueous 25 mmol L?1 Hepes buffer in the presence of 40 mmol L?1 NaCl at pH 7.2, whereas the reactions of the aqua complexes were studied at pH 2.5. Two consecutive reaction steps, which both depend on the nucleophile concentration, were observed in all cases. The second-order rate constants for both reaction steps indicate a decrease in the order 1 > 2 > 3 for all complexes. Also, the pKa values of all three aqua complexes were determined. The order of the reactivity of the studied ligands is 1,2,4-triazole > L-His > 5?-GMP. 1H NMR spectroscopy and HPLC were used to follow the substitution of chloride in the dichloride 1, 2, and 3 complexes by guanosine-5?-monophosphate (5?-GMP). This study shows that the inert and bridging ligands have an important influence on the reactivity of the studied complexes.  相似文献

A dinuclear copper(II) complex with a newly synthesized tridentate Schiff-base ligand 2-[(2-hydroxy-ethylimino)-methyl]-4,6-diiodo-phenol (HL), of formula [Cu2L2Cl2?·?C4H8O] (1), was prepared. Both the ligand and the complex were characterized by X-ray crystallography, confirming that the Schiff base is tridentate and its dinuclear copper(II) complex is five-coordinate from one nitrogen and two oxygens from L and two chlorides. The complex was assayed for antibacterial (Bacillus subtilis, Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus faecalis, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli, and Enterobacter cloacae) activities by the MTT method. Complex 1 exhibited better antimicrobial activity than the ligand.  相似文献

New Co(II) and Cu(II) diphenate complexes with 4-methylimidazole were synthesized and characterized through elemental analysis, magnetic susceptibilities, and IR spectroscopic studies. The crystal structures of [Co(dpa)(5-meim)4]·2H2O (1) and [Cu(dpa)(4-meim)(5-meim)2]·H2O (2) were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction (H2dpa = diphenic acid, 4-meim = 4-methylimidazole and 5-meim = 5-methylimidazole). In 1, Co(II) has distorted octahedral geometry with four 5-meim and one diphenate ligands. Complex 2 has distorted trigonal bipyramidal geometry with one 4-methylimidazole, two 5-methylimidazole, and one diphenate ligands. In the complexes, the diphenate is coordinated to the metal(II) ions via the deprotonated oxygens of carboxylate as a bidentate ligand. The 4-meim and 5-meim linkage isomers within the same complex are found, and this complex is an unusual example. Moreover, another interesting feature of 2 is the presence of C–H···Cu weak hydrogen-bonding interactions.  相似文献

Two Cd(II) coordination polymers have been synthesized with derivatives of pyrazine-1,4-dioxide and thiocyanate anion as bridging ligands and structurally determined by X-ray crystallography. Complex 1, [Cd(μ1,3-SCN?)21,6-L1)] n (L1?=?2,5-dimethylpyrazine-1,4-dioxide), belongs to the triclinic, space group P 1 with a?=?5.7627(18)?Å, b?=?7.182(2)?Å, c?=?7.509(2)?Å, α?=?74.042(3)°, β?=?84.766(4)°, γ?=?88.162(4)°; complex 2, [Cd21,3-SCN?)44-L2)] n (L2?=?2,3,5,6-tetramethylpyrazine-1,4-dioxide), crystallizes in a monoclinic system with space group C2/m with a?=?10.194(4)?Å, b?=?13.491(6)?Å, c?=?8.140(3)?Å, β?=?120.372(4)°. Complex 1 shows a two-dimensional sheet structure, and in a direction the Cd(II) ions were coordinated by μ1,3-SCN? forming the one-dimensional chain and the L1 bridging ligand made the chains connect in the c direction leading to formation of a two-dimensional sheet on the ac plane. For 2 the one-dimensional chains in the a axis were constructed by coordination of μ1,3-SCN? bridging ligands with the Cd(II) ions, and in b and c directions the chains were joined by L2 bridging ligands leading to a three-dimensional structure. In 2 L2 displays a μ4-bridging coordination mode. Both complexes exhibit strong fluorescence emission.  相似文献

[Cu(DAPT)2Cl]Cl·H2O and [Cu(DBM)(DAPT)Cl] [DAPT = 2,4-diamine-6-(pyrazin-2-yl)-1,3,5-triazine] were synthesized and characterized by IR and UV spectroscopy, elemental analysis, TG–DTA, molar conductivity, and LC–MS. The interaction with calf thymus DNA (ct-DNA) of the two complexes has been studied using UV spectra, fluorescent spectra, cyclic voltammetry, and viscosity measurements. The complexes interact with ct-DNA through classical intercalation. Fluorescence intensity changes of 1 and 2 in the absence and presence of ct-DNA have been investigated for quantitative determination of ct-DNA with the limit of detection of 3.8 and 7.7 ng mL?1, respectively. From the result, the two complexes are potentially sensitive DNA fluorescent probes.  相似文献
