When heated with sodium ethoxide in ethanol 7-methylidenebicyclo[3.3.1]nonan-3-endo-ol (endo- 1 ) is converted into 1-methyl-2-oxa-adamantane ( 3 ). This reaction involves nucleophilic addition of a hydroxy group to an unactivated olefinic bond. Formation of the cyclic ether 3 also takes place when endo- 1 is heated in aqueous ethanol. This electrophilic addition is strongly catalysed by weak acids and suppressed by weak bases. These unusual reactions proceed more slowly with 7-methylbicyclo[3.3.1]non-6-en-3-endo-ol (endo- 2 ) and can be ascribed to a proximity effect. This follows from the IR . and NMR . spectra of endo- 1 and endo- 2 which show strong intramolecular hydrogen (OH-π) bonding. The unsaturated endo- and exo-alcohols 1 and 2 , respectively, undergo only exo-complexation with silver ion.  相似文献

The solvolysis rates and products of the tertiary 2-methyl-2-exo- and -2-endo-norbornyl 2,4-dinitrophenyl ethers 1 and 2 , (X = 2,4-(NO2)22C6H3O) have been determined. The different sensitivities of the rates of these ethers to the inductive effect of substituents at C(6) indicate that graded bridging of C(2) by C(6) occurs in the ionization of the exo-ethers 1 , not, however, in the ionization of the endo-ethers 2. In both cases hydrolysis leads to 2-methyl-2-exo-norbornanols only. Consequently, substitution takes place with retention at C(2) in the exo-series 1 and with inversion at C(2) in the endo-series 2. It is concluded that stereoelectronic and polar effects, rather than steric bulk effects, determine the high exo/endo rate ratios of the parent norbornyl derivatives 1a and 2a .  相似文献

The reaction of singlet oxygen with 2-phenylnorbornene ( 1 ) in aprotic solvents gives 3-formylcyclopentyl phenyl ketone ( 2 ) (10%) and uncharacterized polymer (90%). When methanol is used as solvent, endo-2-phenyl-exo-2-methoxy-exo-3-hydroperoxynorbornane ( 4 ) and endo-2-(anti-1′, 4′-epidioxy-5′,6′-epoxycyclohex-2′-enyl)-exo-2,3-epoxynorbornane ( 6 and 7 ) are obtained in addition to 2 . Triplet oxygen with 1 gave 2 , endo-2-phenyl-exo-2,3-epoxynorbornane ( 8 ), and the trimer 9 or 10 of exo-2,3-epidioxy-endo-2-phenylnorbornane. With protic solvents the amount of epoxide increased at the expense of trimer. The singlet and triplet oxygen reactions are discussed in the light of possible intermediates.  相似文献

In the AlBr3-catalyzed adamantane rearrangement in CS2 of 1,2-exo-trimethylenenorbornane ( 1 ) to 2-endo,6-endo-trimethylenenorbornane ( 3 ), hydride-ion abstraction occurs at C(6) from the exo-side. The kH/kD value for competition between 1 and 5 (Dexo-C(6)) was 1.58 ± 0.05, whereas no kinetic isotope effect was operative for competition between unlabeled 1 and 4 (Dendo-C(5)) and between 1 and 6 (Dendo-C(6)).  相似文献

Solvolysis of 4-Alkydenbicyclo[3.2.0]hept-2-en-6-oles. Synthesis of 1-Vinylfulvenes and 8,8-Diphenylheptafulvene Four 4-alkylidenebicyclo[3.2.0]hept-2-en-6-ones 2–5 , obtained via ketene cycloaddition to fulvenes, were reduced to separated mixtures of the ‘endo’ -alcohols ‘endo’- 6 to ‘endo’- 9 (68–73%) and ‘exo’- 6 to ‘exo’- 9 (3–20%). Treatment of some of these alcohols with (CF3SO2)2O in CH2Cl2/pyridine caused a spontaneous solvolysis to yield unsaturated 7-membered rings as pyridinium triflates 10–12 or 1-vinylfulvenes 13 and 14 , a new class of reactive tetraenes: Both ‘endo’- 9 and ‘exo’- 9 , having two methyl groups at C(7), were converted into the vinylfulvene 13 (≈ 80%). The alcohols with two H-atoms at C(7) exhibited a stereochemically controlled reaction selectivity, inasmuch as ‘endo’- 6 to ‘endo’- 8 afforded only the corresponding 7-membered-ring pyridinium salts 10–12 (66–79%), while ‘exo’- 6 produced only the vinylfulvene 14 (77%). A stereoelectronic control argument explains the C(1), C(5)-bond cleavage with ‘endo’- B and ‘endo’– 6 -‘endo’- 8 , as well as the C(1), C(7)-bond cleavage with ‘exo’- B , ‘exo’- 6 , and with both ‘endo’- and ‘exo’- 9 . Thermolysis (120°) of the pyridinium triflates 10 and 11 yielded the 3-isopropenyl-cycloheptatrienes 18 and 19 , respectively (≈90%); similar conditions (145°) applied to the triflate 12 produced the doubly cyclized fluorene derivative 21 (60%). When the iodide 22 derived from the triflate 12 with Nal was heated in refluxing toluene, 8,8-diphenylheptafulvene ( 23 , 86%) was obtained.  相似文献

The Hydrolysis of 6 exo -Substituted 2 exo - and 2 endo -Norbornyl p -Toluenesulfonates. Norbornane Series. Part 3 Hydrolysis of the 6exo-substituted 2exo- and 2endo-norbornyl p-toluenesulfonates 1b - 1 and 2b - 1 , respectively, in 70% dioxane led to different amounts of the following products: Unrearranged 2exo-norbornanols 3 and norbornenes 5 , accompanied in somes cases by small amounts of the rearranged Rendo-epimers 4 and 6 and by norticyclenes 7 . When the 6exo-substituent was a nucleophilic group as in 1e - 1 and 2e - 1 , various amounts of tricyclic products were also formed by endo-cyclization. These results show that the 2exo- and 2endo-esters 1 and 2 , respectively, react by way of different intermediates. In cases where the 6exo-substituent was an n-electron donor, as in 1m - r and 2m - r , quantitative fragmentation to (3-cyclopentenyl)acetaldehyde (13) occurred.  相似文献

The behaviour of the regioselectively generated carbocation centers at C(2) and C(6) in 1,2-trimethylenenorbornanes was investigated in order to study the occurrence or absence of a degenerate rearrangement E⇄M in the adamantane rearrangement of both 1,2-endo- ( 1 ) and 1,2-exo-trimethylenenorbornane ( 2 ) to 2-endo,6-endo-trimethylenenorbornane ( 3 ). A degenerate rearrangement E⇄M is inevitably involved inasmuch as a 1,2-trimethylenenorborn-2-yl cation E not only is formed directly as manifested by the conversions of the reactants 4 (C(2), C(3)-olefin) and 6 (C(2), C(3′)-olefin), but also indirectly (via F→E ) if the leaving group at C(6) to be ionized occupies the endo-position (6-endo-alcohol 8 ). No degenerate rearrangement E⇄M is operative starting from reactants that lead directly to a 2,6-trimethylenenorborn-2-yl cation G ; this is the case with both the ionization of the 6-exo-alcohol 10 having the leaving OH-group in a stereoelectronically favoured configuration to undergo simultaneous C(1), C(2)-bond migration (→ G ) as well as the protonation of the olefin 13 which is followed by same reaction pathway.  相似文献

Reductive elimination at 1,2exo-diiodonorbornane ( 6 ) was induced by Collman's reagent. Surprisingly, 1,2endo-diiodonorbornane ( 9 ) and 1-iodo-2endo-trifluoromethylsulfonyloxy-norbornane ( 10b ) lead only to reactions of the substituent in 2-position. Mechanistic aspects are related to the reactions of monosubstituted iodonorbornanes with Collman's reagent.  相似文献

Exo- and endo-Tricarbonyliron Complexes of Bicyclic 2,3-Dimethylidene Compounds. The preparation of exo- and endo-tricarbonyliron complexes (exo- and endo- 5 , -6 , -8 , and 9 ) of 2,3-dimethylidene-5-bicyclo[2.2.1]heptene( 1 ), -bicyclo[2.2.1]-heptane ( 2 ), -5-bicyclo[2.2.2]octene ( 3 ) and -bicyclo[2.2.2]octane ( 4 ) is described. The complexes are obtained by thermal reaction of the bicyclic butadienes with di-ironenneacarbonyl in hexane solution. exo- and endo- 5 are also formed photochemically from ironpentacarbonyl and 1 in pentane solution at ?35°. The structural assignment of exo- and endo -5 and -6 is based on their mass-spectra and on coordination shifts in 1H- and 13C-NMR.-spectra exo- and endo -6 are correlated with exo- and endo -5 , respectively, by hydrogenation. Hydrogenation of the uncomplexed double bond in exo- and endo -5 occurs in both complexes from the exo side as shown by deuteration experiments. The free ligand 1 reacts in the same stereospecific manner.  相似文献

Synthesis and 1H NMR Spectra of (3-Acylbicyclo[2.2.1]hept-5-en-2-yl)phosphonates Reaction of the (E)-(β-acylvinyl)phosphonates 1 with cyclopentadiene yields the isomeric norbornylphosphonates 2 (endo-acyl, exo-P) and 3 (exo-acyl, endo-P) in a 7:3 ratio. With 1,3-cyclohexadiene the corresponding bicyclooctenyl derivatives 7 and 8 are obtained from 1a . The (Z)-phosphinylacrylate 4 gives with cyclopentadiene the isomers 5 (exo-CO2Me, exo-P) and 6 (endo-CO2Me, endo-P) in nearly equal amounts. The configuration of the cycloadducts has been proved by 1H NMR spectroscopy.  相似文献

The Synthesis and Hydrolysis of 6-exo-Substituted 2-Methyl-2-exo-norbornyl and 2-Methyl-2-endo-norbornyl 2,4-Dinitrophenyl Ethers The synthesis of the title compounds and their hydrolysis products in aqueous dioxane are described. Upon hydrolysis, the 2-exo-ethers 1 (X=N2phO) as well as the 2-endo-ethers 2 (X=N2phO) yield the corresponding 2-methyl-2-exo-norbornanols 3 only. Therefore, the 2-exo-ethers react with retention of configuration at C(2), the 2-endo-ethers 2 with inversion at C(2).  相似文献

The relative thermodynamic stabilities of 24 pairs of carbon-carbon double-bondexo-endo isomeric 2-substituted 4-methylene-1,3-dioxolanes (a) and 4-methyl-1,3-dioxoles (b) have been determined by base-catalyzed chemical equilibration in DMSO solution. In all cases, theendo isomer (b) is the favored species at thermodynamic equilibrium. A single alkyl substitutent on C-2 gives only a negligible contribution to the relative stability of the isomeric forms, but the presence of two alkyl groups on C-2 increases the relative stability of theendo isomer by 2–3 kL mol–1. A still higher effect in favor of theendo isomer is produced by introduction of a single alkoxy group on C-2; this effect is further slightly accentuated by 2,2-dialkoxy substitution at C-2. The origin of the favorable effect of 2-alkoxy substitution on the relative stability of theendo isomer is not clear, but it seems to arise from an unexpected stability of theendo isomer rather than from an enhanced destabilization of theexo form.  相似文献

3-endo-Aminobicyclo[2.2.1]hept-5-ene-2-endo-carboxylic acid ( 1 ), prepared from endo-norborn-5-ene-2,3-dicarboxylic acid anhydride, and the analogous saturated cis-exo-amino acid ( 3 ) were reduced with lithium aluminum hydride to the aminoalcohols 2 and 4 ; the latter were cyclized by means of arylimino ethers to methylene-bridged tetrahydro- ( 6a-c ) and hexahydro-3,1-benzoxazines ( 7b-d ), respectively. The endo ( 2 ) and exo ( 4 ) aminoalcohols were converted to methylene-bridged tetrahydro-3,1-benzoxazin-2-one ( 9 ) and hexahydro-3,1-benzoxazin-2-one ( 12 ) with ethyl chloroformate and sodium methoxide; treatment of the alcohols with carbon disulfide gave, via the dithiocarbamates, the corresponding 2-thiones ( 11, 13 ). The structures were confirmed by ir and nmr spectroscopy.  相似文献

The stereoselectivity of the Diels-Alder reaction of (E)-γ-oxo-α,β-unsaturated thioesters 3a-3d with cyclopentadiene is greatly enhanced in the presence of Lewis acids favoring the endo acyl isomers 4a-4d . In the absence of Lewis acid, Diels-Alder reaction of 3a-3d with cyclopentadiene at 25 °C gave two adducts 4a-4d and 5a-5d in a ratio of 1:1 respectively. In the presence of Lewis acids, Diels-Alder reaction of 3a-3d with cyclopentadiene gave 4a-4d and 5a-5d in ratios of 75-94:25-6 respectively. The stereoelectivity was enhanced to ratios of 95-98:5-2 with lowering the reaction temperature. The stereochemistry of the cycloadducts 4 and 5 was confirmed by iodocyclization. Reaction of the endo-thioester 5c with I2 in aqueous THF at 0 °C gave the novel methylthio group rearranged product 6c in 80% yield, the first example of iodo-lactonization of endo-thioesters. Reaction of the endo-acyl isomer 4b with I2 under the same reaction conditions gave an isomeric mixture of 7b and 8b in 1:2 ratio. The stereochemistry of the thioester group in 8b was proved by X-ray single-crystal analysis. The solvent effect on the endo selectivity of (Z)-γ-oxo-α,β-unsaturated thioester 2b was also examined.  相似文献

The Diels-Alder adduct (±)- 3 of 2,4-dimethylfuran and 1-cyanovinyl acetate was converted stereoselectively into benzyl 6-(4-chlorophenylsulfonyl)-1,3-exo,5-trimethyl-7-oxabicyclo[2.2.1]hept-5-en-2-exo-yl ( 26 ) and -2-endo-yl ether ( 36 ). Addition of LiAlH4 to the latter led to the 3-O-benzyl derivatives 28 and 37 of (1RS,2SR,3SR,6SR)- and (1RS,2SR,3RS,6SR)-5-(4-chlorophenylsulfonyl)-2,4,6-trimethylcyclohex-4-ene-1,3-diol, respectively. Methylenation of 6-exo-(4-chlorophenylthio)-1-methyl-5-methylidene-7-oxabicyclo[2.2.1]heptan-2-one ( 16 ), obtained by reaction of (±)- 3 with 4-Cl-C6H4SCl and saponification gave, 6-exo-(4-chlorophenylthio)-1-methyl-3,5-dimethylidene-7-oxabicyclo [2.2.1]heptan-2-one ( 43 ), the reduction of which with K-Selectride afforded 6-exo-(4-chlorophenylthio)-1,3-endo-dimethyl-5-methylidene-7-oxabicyclo[2.2.1]heptan-2-endo-ol ( 44 ). The 3-O-benzyl derivative 48 of (1RS,2RS,3RS,6SR)-5-(4-chlorophenylsulfonyl)- 2,4,6-trimethylcyclohex-4-ene-1,3-diol was derived from 44 via based-induced oxa-ring opening of benzyl 6-endo-(4-chlorophenylsulfonyl)-1,3-endo-5-endo-trimethyl-7-oxabicyclo[2.2.1]hept-2-endo-yl ether ( 49 ). Benzylation of 28 , followed by reductive desulfonylation and oxidative cleavage of the cyclohexene moiety afforded (2RS,3SR,4RS,5RS)-3,5-bis(benzyloxy)-2,4-dimethyl-6-oxoheptanal ( 32 ).  相似文献

Treatment of the latter with methanesulfonyl chloride in pyridine leads to dehydration and formation of mixtures of the corresponding 1-(3-R-isoxazol-5-yl)-3,3-dimethyl-2-methylenebicyclo[2.2.1]heptanes and 2-(3-R-isoxazol-5-yl)-1,7,7-trimethylbicyclo[2.2.1]hept-2-enes at a ratio of 2:1.  相似文献

In buffered 70% aqueous dioxane the cyclopropylcarbinyl ( 1 -X), endo-cyclobutyl ( 2 -X) and homoallylic ( 3 -X) derivatives (X = nucleofuge) react to give the same mixture of alcohols 1 -OH and 3 -OH by way of a common intermediate, the symmetrical homoallylic ion 22 . This follows from a study of optically active reactants 1 -X and 3 -X and from the deuterium scrambling pattern in the products from deuteriated 1 -X, endo- 2 -X and 3 -X. The high solvolysis rates of 3 -X indicated π-bond participation in the transition state, while the high rates of 1 -X and endo- 2 -X reflect strong σ-bond participation which is absent in exo- 2 -X. Prolonged heating of 1 -X, endo- 2 -X and 3 -X in formic acid leads to a degenerate rearrangement of the initially formed 3 -formate. As evidenced by deuterium scrambling, carbon atoms 1, 3 and 7 eventually become positionally equivalent in the latter compound.  相似文献

Reactions of p-nitrophenyloxirane with amines containing fragments with bicyclic skeleton of norbornene, norbornane, epoxynorbornane (stereoisomeric exo- and endo-5-aminomethylbicyclo[2.2.1]hept-2-enes, N-benzyl-endo-5-aminomethylbicyclo[2.2.1]hept-2-ene, endo-5-(2-aminoethyl)bicyclo[2.2.1]hept-2-ene, stereoisomeric exo- and endo-2-aminomethylbicyclo[2.2.1]heptanes, 2-(1-aminoethyl)bicyclo[2.2.1]heptane, exo-5-aminomethyl-exo-2,3-epoxybicyclo[2.2.1]heptane) were investigated. The aminolysis of p-nitrophenyloxirane occurred regioselectively according to Krasusky rule as was proved by 1H and 13C NMR data. As shown by 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy the oxyalkylation product obtained from N-benzyl-endo-5-aminomethylbicyclo[2.2.1]hept-2-ene was composed of two diastereomers originating from the presence of a chiral nitrogen atom in the rear part of the rigid bicyclic skeleton. New products of amino groups transformation in the molecules of hydroxyamines were obtained by reaction with p-methylbenzoyl chloride and p-nitrophenylsulfonyl chloride. Regioselectivity of the attack of electrophilic reagents on the nitrogen in the hydroxyamines was confirmed by IR and 1H NMR spectra of the products. The data on pharmacological activity tests of N-2-hydroxyethyl(p-nitrophenyl)-5-aminomethylbicyclo[2.2.1]hept-2-ene are reported.  相似文献

By treating 1-octyne and phenylacetylene with butyllithium the corresponding lithium acetylides were obtained that with camphor and isocamphanone provided along streospecific process 2-exo-(1-octynyl or 2-phenyl-1-ethynyl)-2-endo-lithiumoxy-5,5,6-trimethylbicyclo[2.2.1]heptane and 2-endo-(1-octynyl or 2-phenyl-1-ethynyl)-2-exo-lithiumoxy-1,7,7-trimethylbicyclo[2.2.1]heptane. The hydrolysis of these lithium alcoholates occurred selectively and resulted in individual tertiary terpene alcohols containing exo-acetylene substituent in the case of camphor, endo-acetylene fragment in the case of isocamphanone. The alcohols reacted with methyl, ethyl, or butyl iodides in the presence of hexamethylphosphoramide to afford ethers, and with benzoyl chloride to furnish disubstituted esters of benzoic acid.  相似文献
