In this paper, by utilizing Lyapunov functional method, we analyze global asymptotic stability of neural networks with constant delays. A new sufficient condition ensuring global asymptotic stability of the unique equilibrium point of delayed neural networks is obtained. Furthermore, based on the method of delay differential inequality, the conditions checking global exponential stability of the equilibrium point of neural networks with variable delays are given. This paper studies scale-type stability for neural networks with unbounded time-varying delays and Lipschitz continuous activation functions. Several sufficient conditions for the global exponential stability and global asymptotic stability of such neural networks on time scales are derived. The new results can extend the existing relevant stability results in the previous literatures to cover some general neural networks.  相似文献

Global asymptotic stability and exponential stability of delayed cellular neural networks is considered in this paper. Based on the Lyapunov stability theorem as well as a fact about the elemental inequality, some new sufficient conditions are given for global asymptotic stability and exponential stability of delayed cellular neural networks. The results are less conservative than those established in the earlier references. Three examples are given to illustrate the applicability of these conditions.  相似文献

In this paper, dynamical behavior of a class of neural networks with distributed delays is studied by employing suitable Lyapunov functionals, delay-dependent criteria to ensure local and global asymptotic stability of the equilibrium of the neural networks. Our results are applied to classical Hopfield neural networks with distributed delays and some novel asymptotic stability criteria are also derived. The obtained conditions are shown to be less conservative and restrictive than those reported in the known literature.  相似文献

In this paper, the global asymptotic stability problem of Takagi–Sugeno (TS) fuzzy Cohen–Grossberg Bidirectional Associative Memory neural networks (FCGBAMNNs) with discrete and distributed time-varying delays is considered. A novel LMI-based stability criterion is obtained by using Lyapunov functional theory to guarantee the asymptotic stability of FCGBAMNNs which are represented by TS fuzzy models. Our results can be easily verified and are also less restrictive than previously known criteria and can be applied to Cohen–Grossberg neural networks, recurrent neural networks and cellular neural networks. Finally, the proposed stability conditions are demonstrated with a numerical example.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider the uniform asymptotic stability, global asymptotic stability and global exponential stability of the equilibrium point of Hopfield neural networks with delays and impulsive perturbation. Some new stability criteria for such system are derived by using the Lyapunov functional method and the linear matrix inequality approach. The results are related to the size of delays and impulses. Our results are less restrictive and conservative than that given in some earlier references. Finally, two numerical examples showing the effectiveness of the present criteria are given.  相似文献

The global robust asymptotic stability of bi-directional associative memory (BAM) neural networks with constant or time-varying delays and impulse is studied. An approach combining the Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional with the linear matrix inequality (LMI) is taken to study the problem. Some a criteria for the global robust asymptotic stability, which gives information on the delay-dependent property, are derived. In this paper, the global asymptotic and exponential stability are investigated for a class of neural networks with both the discrete and distributed time-varying delays. By using appropriate Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional and linear matrix inequality (LMI) technique, several delay-dependent sufficient conditions are obtained to guarantee the global asymptotic and exponential stability of the addressed neural networks. These conditions are expressed in terms of LMIs, and are dependent on both the discrete and distributed time delays. Therefore, the stability of the neural networks can be checked readily by resorting to the Matlab LMI toolbox. In addition, the proposed stability criteria do not require the monotonicity of the activation functions and the differentiability of the discrete and distributed time-varying delays, which means that our results generalize and further improve those in the earlier publications. A simulation example is given to show the effectiveness and less conservatism of the obtained conditions.  相似文献

This paper studies the global convergence properties of a class of neutral-type neural networks with discrete time delays. This class of neutral systems includes Cohen–Grossberg neural networks, Hopfield neural networks and cellular neural networks. Based on the Lyapunov stability theorems, some delay independent sufficient conditions for the global asymptotic stability of the equilibrium point for this class of neutral-type systems are derived. It is shown that the results presented in this paper for neutral-type delayed neural networks are the generalization of a recently reported stability result. A numerical example is also given to demonstrate the applicability of our proposed stability criteria.  相似文献

In this paper, the global asymptotic stability is investigated for a class of neutral stochastic neural networks with time-varying delays and norm-bounded uncertainties. Based on Lyapunov stability theory and stochastic analysis approaches, delay-dependent criteria are derived to ensure the global, robust, asymptotic stability of the addressed system in the mean square for all admissible parameter uncertainties. The criteria can be checked easily by the LMI Control Toolbox in Matlab. A numerical example is given to illustrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the results.  相似文献

This paper is devoted to global asymptotic stability of cellular neural networks with impulses and multi‐proportional delays. First, by means of the transformation vi(t) = ui(et), the impulsive cellular neural networks with proportional delays are transformed into impulsive cellular neural networks with the variable coefficients and constant delays. Second, we prove the global exponential stability of the latter by nonlinear measure, and that the exponential stability of the latter implies the asymptotic stability of the former. We furthermore provide a sufficient condition to the existence, uniqueness, and the global asymptotic stability of the equilibrium point of the former. Our results are generalizations of some existing ones. Finally, an example and its simulation are presented to illustrate effectiveness of our method. For a family of differential equations with infinite delay, we give sufficient conditions for the global asymptotic, and global exponential stability of an equilibrium point. This family includes most of the delayed models of neural networks of Cohen-Grossberg type, with both bounded and unbounded distributed delay, for which general asymptotic and exponential stability criteria are derived. As illustrations, the results are applied to several concrete models studied in the literature, and a comparison of results is given.  相似文献

In this paper, the global asymptotic stability of impulsive stochastic Cohen–Grossberg neural networks with mixed delays is investigated by using Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional method and the linear matrix inequality (LMI) technique. The mixed time delays comprise both the multiple time-varying and continuously distributed delays. Some new sufficient conditions are obtained to guarantee the global asymptotic stability of the addressed model in the stochastic sense using the powerful MATLAB LMI toolbox. In this paper, global asymptotic stability is discussed for neural networks with time-varying delay. Several new criteria in matrix inequality form are given to ascertain the uniqueness and global asymptotic stability of equilibrium point for neural networks with time-varying delay based on Lyapunov method and Linear Matrix Inequality (LMI) technique. The proposed LMI approach has the advantage of considering the difference of neuronal excitatory and inhibitory efforts, which is also computationally efficient as it can be solved numerically using recently developed interior-point algorithm. In addition, the proposed results generalize and improve previous works. The obtained criteria also combine two existing conditions into one generalized condition in matrix form. In this paper, global robust stability of uncertain stochastic recurrent neural networks with Markovian jumping parameters is considered. A novel Linear matrix inequality(LMI) based stability criterion is obtained to guarantee the asymptotic stability of uncertain stochastic recurrent neural networks with Markovian jumping parameters.The results are derived by using the Lyapunov functional technique, Lipchitz condition and S-procuture. Finally, numerical examples are given to demonstrate the correctness of the theoretical results. This paper studies the asymptotic stability properties of a class of complex dynamical networks under a hybrid impulsive and switching control. By utilizing the concept of impulsive control and the stability results for impulsive systems, some new criteria for global and local stability are established for this model.
