In this paper, we are concerned with the multibump solutions for the following quasilinear Schrödinger system in ${\mathbb{R}^N}$ : $$\left\{\begin{array}{ll}-\Delta{u} + \lambda{a(x)u} - \frac{1}{2}(\Delta|u|^2)u = \frac{2\alpha}{\alpha + \beta}|u|^{\alpha-2}|\upsilon|^\beta u, \\-\Delta{\upsilon} + \lambda{b(x)\upsilon} - \frac{1}{2}(\Delta|\upsilon|^2)\upsilon = \frac{2\beta}{\alpha + \beta}|u|^\alpha|\upsilon|^{\beta-2} \upsilon, \\u(x) \rightarrow 0, \upsilon(x) \rightarrow 0 \quad as|x| \rightarrow \infty,\end{array}\right.$$ where λ > 0 is a parameter, α, β > 2 satisfying αβ < 2 · 2*, here ${2^{*} = \frac{2N}{N-2}}$ is the critical Sobolev exponent for ${N \geq 3}$ and a(x), b(x) are nonnegative potentials. Using variational methods, we prove that if the zero sets of a(x) and b(x) have several common isolated connected components ${\Omega_{1}, . . . ,\Omega_{k}}$ such that the interior of ${\Omega_{i} (i = 1, 2, . . . , k)}$ is not empty and ${\partial\Omega_{i} (i = 1, 2, . . . , k)}$ is smooth, then for λ sufficiently large, the system admits, for any nonempty subset ${J \subset \{1, 2, . . . , k\}}$ , a solution which is trapped in a neighborhood of ${\cup_{j\epsilon{J}} \Omega_{j}}$ .  相似文献

Let \({f(z) = \sum_{n=1}^\infty a(n)e^{2\pi i nz} \in S_k^{\mathrm{new}}(\Gamma_0(N))}\) be a newform of even weight \({k \geq 2}\) that does not have complex multiplication. Then \({a(n) \in \mathbb{R}}\) for all n; so for any prime p, there exists \({\theta_p \in [0, \pi]}\) such that \({a(p) = 2p^{(k-1)/2} {\rm cos} (\theta_p)}\) . Let \({\pi(x) = \#\{p \leq x\}}\) . For a given subinterval \({[\alpha, \beta]\subset[0, \pi]}\) , the now-proven Sato–Tate conjecture tells us that as \({x \to \infty}\) , $$ \#\{p \leq x: \theta_p \in I\} \sim \mu_{ST} ([\alpha, \beta])\pi(x),\quad \mu_{ST} ([\alpha, \beta]) = \int\limits_{\alpha}^\beta \frac{2}{\pi}{\rm sin}^2(\theta) d\theta. $$ Let \({\epsilon > 0}\) . Assuming that the symmetric power L-functions of f are automorphic, we prove that as \({x \to \infty}\) , $$ \#\{p \leq x: \theta_p \in I\} = \mu_{ST} ([\alpha, \beta])\pi(x) + O\left(\frac{x}{(\log x)^{9/8-\epsilon}} \right), $$ where the implied constant is effectively computable and depends only on k,N, and \({\epsilon}\) .  相似文献

The volume of the unit ball in ${\mathbb{R}^{n}}$ is defined by $$\Omega_{n} = \frac{\pi^{n/2}}{\Gamma(n/2+1)},\qquad n = 1,2,3,\ldots,$$ where Γ denotes the classical gamma function of Euler. In several recently published papers numerous authors studied properties of Ω n . In particular, various inequalities involving Ω n are given in the literature. In this paper, we continue the work on this subject and offer new inequalities. More precisely, we offer sharp upper and lower bounds for $$\frac{\Omega_{n}^{2}}{\Omega_{n-1} \Omega_{n+1}},\quad\frac{\Omega_{n}}{\Omega_{n-1}+\Omega_{n+1}} \quad {\rm and} \quad\Omega_{n}.$$   相似文献

Let KL 1(?) and let fL (?) be two functions on ?. The convolution $$ \left( {K*F} \right)\left( x \right) = \int_\mathbb{R} {K\left( {x - y} \right)f\left( y \right)dy} $$ can be considered as an average of f with weight defined by K. Wiener’s Tauberian theorem says that under suitable conditions, if $$ \mathop {\lim }\limits_{x \to \infty } \left( {K*F} \right)\left( x \right) = \mathop {\lim }\limits_{x \to \infty } \int_\mathbb{R} {\left( {K*A} \right)\left( x \right)} $$ for some constant A, then $$ \mathop {\lim }\limits_{x \to \infty } f\left( x \right) = A $$ We prove the following ?-adic analogue of this theorem: Suppose K, F, G are perverse ?-adic sheaves on the affine line $ \mathbb{A} $ over an algebraically closed field of characteristic p (p ≠ ?). Under suitable conditions, if $ \left( {K*F} \right)|_{\eta _\infty } \cong \left( {K*G} \right)|_{\eta _\infty } $ , then $ F|_{\eta _\infty } \cong G|_{\eta _\infty } $ , where η is the spectrum of the local field of $ \mathbb{A} $ at .  相似文献

Let V be a convex subset of a normed space and let a nondecreasing function α : [0, ∞) → [0, ∞) be given. A function ${f : V \rightarrow \mathbb{R}}$ is called α-midconvex if $$f\left(\frac{x+y}{2} \right)\leq \frac{f(x)+f(y)}{2}+\alpha(\|x-y\|) \quad \,{\rm for}\, x,y\in V.$$ It is known (Tabor in Control Cybern., 38/3:656–669, 2009) that if ${f : V \rightarrow \mathbb{R}}$ is α-midconvex, locally bounded above at every point of V then $$f(tx+(1-t)y)\leq tf(x)+(1-t)f(y)+P_\alpha(\|x-y\|) \quad \,{\rm for}\, x, y \in V,t \in [0,1],$$ where ${P_\alpha(r):=\sum_{k=0}^\infty \frac{1}{2^k} \alpha(2{\rm dist}(2^kr, \mathbb{Z}))}$ for ${r \in \mathbb{R}}$ . We show that under some additional assumptions the above estimation cannot be improved.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the quantitative recurrence and hitting sets of β-transformation T β on the unit disk I of formal Laurent series field $$E_\phi:= \{x\in I: \|T_\beta^nx - x\| < \|\beta\|^{-\phi(n)}\,\,\,{\rm infinitely\,often}\}$$ and $$F_\phi:=\{x\in I: \|T_\beta^nx-x_0\|<\|\beta\|^{-\phi(n)}\,\,\,{\rm infinitely\,often}\},$$ where x 0 is any fixed point in I and ${\phi}$ is any positive function defined on ${\mathbb{N}}$ with ${\phi(n)\to\infty}$ as n → ∞. We completely determine the Hausdorff dimensions of these sets: $$\dim_{\rm H} E_{\phi}=\dim_{\rm H}F_\phi=\frac{1}{1+\liminf\limits_{n\to\infty}\frac{\phi (n)}{n}}.$$   相似文献

Let $ \mathcal{P}_n $ denote the set of algebraic polynomials of degree n with the real coefficients. Stein and Wpainger [1] proved that $$ \mathop {\sup }\limits_{p( \cdot ) \in \mathcal{P}_n } \left| {p.v.\int_\mathbb{R} {\frac{{e^{ip(x)} }} {x}dx} } \right| \leqslant C_n , $$ where C n depends only on n. Later A. Carbery, S. Wainger and J. Wright (according to a communication obtained from I. R. Parissis), and Parissis [3] obtained the following sharp order estimate $$ \mathop {\sup }\limits_{p( \cdot ) \in \mathcal{P}_n } \left| {p.v.\int_\mathbb{R} {\frac{{e^{ip(x)} }} {x}dx} } \right| \sim \ln n. $$ . Now let $ \mathcal{T}_n $ denote the set of trigonometric polynomials $$ t(x) = \frac{{a_0 }} {2} + \sum\limits_{k = 1}^n {(a_k coskx + b_k sinkx)} $$ with real coefficients a k , b k . The main result of the paper is that $$ \mathop {\sup }\limits_{t( \cdot ) \in \mathcal{T}_n } \left| {p.v.\int_\mathbb{R} {\frac{{e^{it(x)} }} {x}dx} } \right| \leqslant C_n , $$ with an effective bound on C n . Besides, an analog of a lemma, due to I. M. Vinogradov, is established, concerning the estimate of the measure of the set, where a polynomial is small, via the coefficients of the polynomial.  相似文献

It is well-known that the squared modulus of every function f from the Laguerre–Polya class ${\mathcal{L}-\mathcal{P}}$ of entire functions obeys a MacLaurin series representation $$|f(x+i y)|^2=\sum_{k=0}^{\infty} L_k(f;x)\,y^{2k}, \quad x,y\in\mathbb{R}$$ , which reduces to a finite sum when f is a polynomial having only real zeros. The coefficients {L k } are representable as non-linear differential operators acting on f, and by a classical result of Jensen L k (f;x)?≥ 0 for ${f\in \mathcal{L}-\mathcal{P}}$ and ${x\in \mathbb{R}}$ . Here, we prove a conjecture formulated by the first-named author in 2005, which states that for ${f=P_n^{(\lambda)} }$ , the n-th Gegenbauer polynomial, the functions ${\{L_k(f;x)\}_{k=1}^{n}}$ are monotone decreasing on the negative semi-axis and monotone increasing on the positive semi-axis. This result pertains to certain polynomial inequalities in the spirit of the celebrated refinement of Markov’s inequality, found by R. J. Duffin and A. C. Schaeffer in 1941.  相似文献

Let \({\Omega \subset \mathbb{R}^2}\) be an open, bounded domain and \({\Omega = \bigcup_{i = 1}^{N} \Omega_{i}}\) be a partition. Denote the Fraenkel asymmetry by \({0 \leq \mathcal{A}(\Omega_i) \leq 2}\) and write $$D(\Omega_i) := \frac{|\Omega_{i}| - {\rm min}_{1 \leq j \leq N}{|\Omega_{j}|}}{|\Omega_{i}|}$$ with \({0 \leq D(\Omega_{i}) \leq 1}\) . For N sufficiently large depending only on \({\Omega}\) , there is an uncertainty principle $$\left(\sum_{i=1}^{N}{\frac{|\Omega_{i}|}{|\Omega|}{\mathcal{A}}(\Omega_i)}\right) + \left(\sum_{i=1}^{N}{\frac{|\Omega_i|}{|\Omega|}D(\Omega_i)}\right) \geq \frac{1}{60000}.$$ The statement remains true in dimensions \({n \geq 3}\) for some constant \({c_{n} > 0}\) . As an application, we give an (unspecified) improvement of Pleijel’s estimate on the number of nodal domains of a Laplacian eigenfunction and an improved inequality for a spectral partition problem.  相似文献

Let ${I\subset\mathbb{R}}$ be a nonempty open interval and let ${L:I^2\to I}$ be a fixed strict mean. A function ${M:I^2\to I}$ is said to be an L-conjugate mean on I if there exist ${p,q\in{]}0,1]}$ and a strictly monotone and continuous function φ such that $$M(x,y):=\varphi^{-1}(p\varphi(x)+q\varphi(y)+(1-p-q)\varphi(L(x,y)))=:L_\varphi^{(p,q)}(x,y),$$ for all ${x,y\in I}$ . Here L(x, y) is a fixed quasi-arithmetic mean. We will solve the equality problem in this class of means.  相似文献

In this paper we study the stability of the solutions of some nonlinear Neumann problems, under perturbations of the domains in the Hausdorff complementary topology. We consider the problem $${{\left\{\begin{array}{c}-\text{ div}\;\left(a\left( x,\nabla u_{\Omega}\right)\right)=0 \;\text{in}\; \Omega \\ {a\left( x, \nabla u_{\Omega}\right) \cdot \nu=0\; \text{on}\; \partial\Omega}\end{array}\right.}}$$ where ${{\mathbf{R}^n \times \mathbf{R}^n \rightarrow \mathbf{R}^n}}$ is a Caratheodory function satisfying the standard monotonicity and growth conditions of order p, 1?<?p?<???. If ?? h is a uniformly bounded sequence of connected open sets in R n , n ??? 2, we prove that if ${{\Omega_{h}^{c} \rightarrow \Omega^{c}}}$ in the Hausdorff metric, ${|\Omega_{h}| \rightarrow |\Omega|}$ and the geodetic distances satisfy the inequality ${d_{\Omega}\left( x,y\right) \leq \liminf_{h} d_{\Omega_{h}} \left( x,y\right)}$ for every ${x, y \in \Omega,}$ then ${\nabla u_{\Omega_h} \rightarrow\nabla u_{\Omega}}$ strongly in L p , provided that W 1, ??(??) is dense in the space L 1, p (??) of all functions whose gradient belongs to L p (??, R n ).  相似文献

Let ${I\subset\mathbb{R}}$ be a nonvoid open interval and let L : I 2I be a fixed strict mean. A function M : I 2I is said to be an L-conjugate mean on I if there exist ${p,q\in\,]0,1]}$ and ${\varphi\in CM(I)}$ such that $$M(x,y):=\varphi^{-1}(p\varphi(x)+q\varphi(y)+(1-p-q) \varphi(L(x,y)))=:L_\varphi^{(p,q)}(x,y),$$ for all ${x,y\in I}$ . Here L(x, y) : = A χ(x, y) ${(x,y\in I)}$ is a fixed quasi-arithmetic mean with the fixed generating function ${\chi\in CM(I)}$ . We examine the following question: which L-conjugate means are weighted quasi-arithmetic means with weight ${r\in\, ]0,1[}$ at the same time? This question is a functional equation problem: Characterize the functions ${\varphi,\psi\in CM(I)}$ and the parameters ${p,q\in\,]0,1]}$ , ${r\in\,]0,1[}$ for which the equation $$L_\varphi^{(p,q)}(x,y)=L_\psi^{(r,1-r)}(x,y)$$ holds for all ${x,y\in I}$ .  相似文献

We study that the n-graph defined by a smooth map ${f:\Omega\subset\mathbb R^{n}\to \mathbb R^{m}, m\ge 2,}$ in ${\mathbb R^{m+n}}$ of the prescribed mean curvature and the Gauss image. Under the condition $$\Delta_f=\left[\text{det}\left(\delta_{ij}+\sum_\alpha{\frac {\partial {f^\alpha}}{\partial {x^i}}}{\frac {\partial {f^\alpha}}{\partial {x^j}}}\right)\right]^{\frac{1}{2}} < 2,$$ we derive the interior curvature estimates $$\sup_{D_R(x)}|B|^2\le{\frac{C}{R^2}}$$ when 2 ≤ n ≤ 5 with constant C depending on the given geometric data. If there is no dimension limitation we obtain $$\sup_{D_R(x)}|B|^2\le CR^{-a}\sup_{D_{2R}(x)}(2-\Delta_f)^{-\left({\frac{3}{2}}+{\frac{1}{s}}\right)},\quad s=\min(m, n)$$ with a < 1. If the image under the Gauss map is contained in a geodesic ball of the radius ${{\frac{\sqrt{2}}{4}}\pi}$ in G n,m we also derive corresponding estimates.  相似文献

We consider the following anisotropic sinh-Poisson equation $${\rm div} (a(x) \nabla u)+ 2\varepsilon^2 a(x) {\rm sinh}\,u=0\ \ {\rm in}\ \Omega, \quad u=0 \ \ {\rm on}\ \partial \Omega,$$ where ${\Omega \subset \mathbb{R}^2}$ is a bounded smooth domain and a(x) is a positive smooth function. We investigate the effect of anisotropic coefficient ${a(x)}$ on the existence of bubbling solutions. We show that there exists a family of solutions u ?? concentrating positively and negatively at ${\bar{x}}$ , a given local critical point of a(x), for ?? sufficiently small, for which with the property $$2\varepsilon^2a(x){\rm sinh} u_\varepsilon \rightharpoonup 8\pi\sum\limits_{j=1}^{m}b_j\delta_{\bar{x}},$$ where ${b_j=\pm 1}$ . This result shows a striking difference with the isotropic case (a(x) ?? Constant) in Bartolucci and Pistoia (IMA J Appl Math 72(6):706?C729, 2007), Jost et?al. (Calc Var Partial Differ Equ 31:263?C276, 2008) and Esposito and Wei (Calc Var Partial Differ Equ 34:341?C375, 2009).  相似文献

Extending a result of Meyer and Reisner (Monatsh Math 125:219–227, 1998), we prove that if ${g: \mathbb{R}\to \mathbb{R}_+}$ is a function which is concave on its support, then for every m > 0 and every ${z\in\mathbb{R}}$ such that g(z) > 0, one has $$ \int\limits_{\mathbb{R}} g(x)^mdx\int\limits_{\mathbb{R}} (g^{*z}(y))^m dy\ge \frac{(m+2)^{m+2}}{(m+1)^{m+3}},$$ where for ${y\in \mathbb{R}}$ , ${g^{*z}(y)=\inf_x \frac{(1-(x-z)y)_+}{g(x)}}$ . It is shown how this inequality is related to a special case of Mahler’s conjecture (or inverse Santaló inequality) for convex bodies. The same ideas are applied to give a new (and simple) proof of the exact estimate of the functional inverse Santaló inequality in dimension 1 given in Fradelizi and Meyer (Adv Math 218:1430–1452, 2008). Namely, if ${\phi:\mathbb{R}\to\mathbb{R}\cup\{+\infty\}}$ is a convex function such that ${0 < \int e^{-\phi} < +\infty}$ then, for every ${z\in\mathbb{R}}$ such that ${\phi(z) < +\infty}$ , one has $$ \int\limits_{\mathbb{R}}e^{-\phi}\int\limits_{\mathbb{R}} e^{-\mathcal{L}^z\phi}\ge e,$$ where ${\mathcal {L}^z\phi}$ is the Legendre transform of ${\phi}$ with respect to z.  相似文献

Let ${\mathbf{T}=\{T(t)\} _{t\in\mathbb{R}}}$ be a ??(X, F)-continuous group of isometries on a Banach space X with generator A, where ??(X, F) is an appropriate local convex topology on X induced by functionals from ${ F\subset X^{\ast}}$ . Let ?? A (x) be the local spectrum of A at ${x\in X}$ and ${r_{A}(x):=\sup\{\vert\lambda\vert :\lambda \in \sigma_{A}(x)\},}$ the local spectral radius of A at x. It is shown that for every ${x\in X}$ and ${\tau\in\mathbb{R},}$ $$\left\Vert T(\tau) x-x\right\Vert \leq \left\vert \tau \right\vert r_{A}(x)\left\Vert x\right\Vert.$$ Moreover if ${0\leq \tau r_{A}(x)\leq \frac{\pi}{2},}$ then it holds that $$\left\Vert T(\tau) x-T(-\tau)x\right\Vert \leq 2\sin \left(\tau r_{A}(x)\right)\left\Vert x\right\Vert.$$ Asymptotic versions of these results for C 0-semigroup of contractions are also obtained. If ${\mathbf{T}=\{T(t)\}_{t\geq 0}}$ is a C 0-semigroup of contractions, then for every ${x\in X}$ and ????? 0, $$\underset{t\rightarrow \infty }{\lim } \left\Vert T( t+\tau) x-T(t) x\right\Vert\leq\tau\sup\left\{ \left\vert \lambda \right\vert :\lambda \in\sigma_{A}(x)\cap i \mathbb{R} \right\} \left\Vert x\right\Vert. $$ Several applications are given.  相似文献

A lower semicontinuity and relaxation result with respect to weak-* convergence of measures is derived for functionals of the form $$\mu \in \mathcal{M}(\Omega; \mathbb{R}^d) \to \int \limits_\Omega f(\mu^a(x))\,{\rm {d}}x +\int \limits_\Omega f^\infty \left( \frac{{\rm{d}}\mu^s}{d|\mu^s|}(x)\right) \, d| \mu^s|(x),$$ where admissible sequences {μ n } are such that ${\{{\mathcal{A}}\mu_{n}\}}$ converges to zero strongly in ${W^{-1 q}_{\rm loc}(\Omega)}$ and ${\mathcal {A}}$ is a partial differential operator with constant rank. The integrand f has linear growth and L -bounds from below are not assumed.  相似文献

On a smoothly bounded domain ${\Omega\subset\mathbb{R}^{2m}}$ we consider a sequence of positive solutions ${u_k\stackrel{w}{\rightharpoondown}0}$ in H m (Ω) to the equation ${(-\Delta)^m u_k=\lambda_k u_k e^{mu_k^2}}$ subject to Dirichlet boundary conditions, where 0 < λ k → 0. Assuming that $$0 < \Lambda:=\lim_{k\to\infty}\int\limits_\Omega u_k(-\Delta)^m u_k dx < \infty,$$ we prove that Λ is an integer multiple of Λ1 := (2m ? 1)! vol(S 2m ), the total Q-curvature of the standard 2m-dimensional sphere.  相似文献
