The mixtures of exo‐endo‐monomers and isomerically pure endo‐monomers of N‐pentafluorophenyl‐norbornene‐5,6‐dicarboximide ( 2a ) and N‐phenyl‐norbornene‐5,6‐dicarboximide ( 2b ) were synthesized and polymerized via ring opening metathesis polymerization using bis(tricyclohexylphosphine) benzylidene ruthenium ( IV ) dichloride ( I ) and tricyclohexylphosphine [1,3‐bis(2,4,6‐trimethylphenyl)‐4,5‐dihydroimidazol‐2‐ylidene][benzylidene] ruthenium dichloride ( II ). Ring opening metathesis polymerization of mixtures of exo‐endo‐monomers ( 2a ) and ( 2b ) and pure endo‐ 2b gave the corresponding high molecular weights poly(N‐pentafluorophenyl‐norbornene‐5,6‐dicarboximide) ( 3a ) and poly(N‐phenyl‐norbornene‐5,6‐dicarboximide) ( 3b ). The isomerically pure endo‐ 2a did not polymerize by I in these conditions, since I is the least active catalyst and endo‐ 2a is the least active monomer because of the intramolecular complex formation between the Ru active center and the fluorine atom of ring‐opened endo‐ 2a on the one hand and steric hindrances caused by the pentafluorinated ring on the other. The quantitative hydrogenation of the polymer 3a , at room temperature and 115 bar, was achieved by a Wilkinson's catalyst. The new polynorbornene bearing highly fluorinated sulfonic acid groups (5) was obtained by the reaction of the hydrogenated poly(N‐pentafluorophenyl‐norbornene‐5,6‐dicarboximide) (4) with sodium 4‐hydroxybenzenesulfonate dihydrate. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Convenient procedures for the synthesis of new organophosphorus‐substituted mono‐ and bis(trimethylsilyl)amines with PCH2N moiety are proposed, starting from trimethylsilyl esters of organophosphorus acids, as well as 1,3,5‐trialkylhexahydro‐1,3,5‐triazines and N‐alkoxymethyl bis(trimethylsilyl)amines as aminomethylating reagents. Since the isolation of brevetoxin‐B, a red tide toxin, many bioactive marine natural products featuring synthetically challenging trans‐fused polycyclic ether ring systems have been reported. We have developed SmI2‐induced cyclization of β‐alkoxyacrylate with aldehyde, affording 2,6‐syn‐2,3‐trans‐tetrahydropyran (THP) or 2,7‐syn‐2,3‐trans‐oxepane with complete stereoselection, as a key reaction of efficient iterative and bi‐directional strategies for the construction of these polycyclic ethers. This reaction is also applicable to the synthesis of 3‐, 5‐, and 6‐methyl‐THPs and 3,5‐dimethyl‐THP. The synthesis of 2‐methyl‐ and 2,6‐dimethyl‐THPs was accomplished by means of a unique methyl insertion. Recently, the SmI2‐induced cyclization was extended to similar reactions using β‐alkoxyvinyl sulfone and sulfoxide. Reaction of (E)‐ and (Z)‐β‐alkoxyvinyl sulfone‐aldehyde afforded 2,6‐syn‐2,3‐trans‐ and 2,6‐syn‐2,3‐cis‐ THPs, respectively. Reaction of (E)‐β‐alkoxyvinyl (R)‐ and (S)‐sulfoxides gave 2,6‐anti‐2,3‐cis‐ and 2,6‐syn‐2,3‐trans‐THPs, respectively. Reaction of (Z)‐β‐alkoxyvinyl (R)‐sulfoxides gave 2,6‐syn‐2,3‐cis‐THP and an olefinic product, while that of (Z)‐β‐alkoxyvinyl (S)‐sulfoxide afforded a mixture of many products. These SmI2‐induced cyclizations have been applied to the total syntheses of various natural products, including brevetoxin‐B, mucocin, pyranicin, and pyragonicin. The synthesis and characterization of rac‐[ethylenebis(1‐(tert‐butyldimethylsilyl)‐3‐indenyl)]zirconium dichloride ( 3 ) is reported. The silyl substituted 3 /MAO was compared to its siloxy substituted analogue ( 4 ) in ethylene homo‐ and in ethylene‐1‐hexene copolymerizations to elucidate the effect of the heteroatom on polymerization performance. The influence of monomer and cocatalyst concentration and the polymerization temperature was investigated. The oxygen between the indenyl ligand and the bulky tert‐butyldimethylsilyl group in the siloxy substituted 4 /MAO was found to have a positive influence on polymerization activity and copolymerization performance. © 2000 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. The synthesis of the title compounds was accomplished in four steps. The synthetic route involves the preparation of Schiff's base by reacting salicylaldehyde with m‐chloroaniline in EtOH. The Schiff's base was then reduced with NaBH4/MeOH. In the second step, PCl3 was reacted with p‐chlorophenol/p‐bromophenol in THF in the presence of Et3N to obtain P(III) dichloride derivatives. The reduced Schiff's base and dichloride derivatives were reacted in equimolar quantities in the presence of Et3N in THF to get the cyclized product. Alkyl azides were prepared by reacting alkyl bromides with sodium azide, and then alkyl azides were treated with the cyclized product to obtain the title compounds. The structure of these novel compounds was elucidated by elemental analysis, IR, 1H, 13C, 31P NMR, and mass spectroscopy. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A facile and efficient synthetic methodo‐ logy for the preparation of diethyl α,α‐chlorofluoro‐ alkanephosphonates is described. A wide variety of diethyl α‐hydroxyphosphonates were investigated by a two‐step halogenation procedure, which includes nucleophilic chlorination with PPh3 and CCl4 and electrophilic fluorination with N‐fluorobisbenzene‐ sulfonimide. Aromatic and aliphatic α,α‐chlorofluoro‐ phosphonates could be prepared by this method with acceptable yields. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. An overview highlighting the anti‐cancer potential of (bio‐essential) selenium‐ and tellurium‐containing species, with an emphasis on biological targets and mechanisms of action, is presented. Studies thus far have focused on selenium(II) compounds (along with – to a lesser extent – inorganic selenium and selenium nanoparticles) which often successfully exploit the inherent anti‐oxidizing ability of selenium. Significantly less work has been conducted in developing anti‐cancer tellurium compounds, yet two tellurium(IV) species are proven, clinically, as anti‐cancer agents. Given the prevalence of the disease and the accumulated insights into mechanisms of action, the continued development of selenium‐ and tellurium‐containing molecules is an area deserving greater attention. The reaction of vanadocene dichloride with sodium arsenate gives Cp2V(O2AsO2H). This compound was identified on the basis of the super‐hyperfine coupling observed in the solution EPR spectrum. 4‐N,N‐Dimethylamino‐ and 4‐cycloamino‐5‐phenyl‐1,2,4‐triazole‐3‐thiones 1–13 have been synthesized from benzhydrazides and substituted methyl dithiocarbazates under various conditions including short microwave irradiations. Treatment of lithium iminophosphonamide with AlCl3 in Et2O led to the formation of an aluminum(III) dichloride complex as colorless crystals. The substitution reactions of aluminum(III) dichloride stabilized by an iminophosphon- amide ligand with N- and Fe-nucleophiles gave the corresponding compounds of aluminum(III) monochloride. The reaction of the aluminum(III) dichloride complex with CpNa proceeded slowly at room temperature to form an aluminum(III) monochloride complex bearing an η1(σ)-bonded cyclopentadienyl ring.  相似文献

The copolymerization of propylene with 1‐octene was carried out with rac‐dimethylsilylbis(2,4,6‐trimethylindenyl)zirconium dichloride as a catalyst activated by methylaluminoxane (MAO) and an MAO/triisobutylaluminum mixture. The copolymerization conditions, including the polymerization temperature, Al/Zr molar ratio, and 1‐octene concentration in the feed, significantly influenced the catalyst activity, 1‐octene incorporation, polymer molecular weight, and melting temperature. The addition of 1‐octene to the polymerization system caused a decrease in the activity, whereas the melting temperature and intrinsic viscosity of the polymer increased. The microstructure of the propylene–1‐octene copolymer was characterized by 13C NMR, and the reactivity ratios of the copolymerization were estimated from the dyad distribution of the monomer sequences. The amount of regioirregular structures arising from 2,1‐ and 1,3‐misinserted propylene decreased as the 1‐octene content increased. The influence of the propagation chain on the polymerization mechanism is proposed to be the main reason for the changes in the reactivity ratios and regioirregularity with the polymerization conditions. © 2000 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. The novel type of seven‐membered cyclic diphosphines, namely 1,3,6‐azadiphosphacycloheptanes, has been synthesized by condensation of 1,2‐bis(phenylphosphino)ethane, formaldehyde, and primary amines (aniline, p‐toluidine, benzylamine, and 5‐aminoisophthalic acid) as a mixture of rac‐ and meso‐stereoisomers. The structures of rac‐stereoisomers of N‐tolyl and N‐(3′,5′‐dicarboxyphenyl)‐substituted diphosphines were investigated by X‐ray crystal structure analyses. The stereoisomers of N‐(3′,5′‐dicarboxyphenyl)‐substituted compound were separated at a preparative scale, and their platinum(II) dichloride complexes were obtained. The corresponding meso‐isomer readily forms P,P‐chelate complex with [PtCl2(cod)], whereas the rac‐stereoisomer forms oligomeric complex. © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Various new C2‐symmetric bidentate ligands, bearing phosphorus, nitrogen, and sulfur, were obtained in an efficient manner, starting from (±)‐trans‐3‐methylidenecyclopropane‐1,2‐dicarboxylic acid (Feist's acid; (±)‐trans‐ 3 ). The structures of the new bidentate ligands, di(tert‐butyl) (±)‐[(trans‐3‐methylidenecyclopropane‐1,2‐diyl)dimethanediyl]biscarbamate ((±)‐ 9 ), (±)‐(trans‐3‐methyldienecyclopropane‐1,2‐diyl)dimethanaminium dichloride ((±)‐ 10 ), (±)‐S,S′‐[(trans‐3‐methylidenecyclopropane‐1,2‐diyl)dimethanediyl] diethanethioate ((±)‐ 11 ), and (±)‐[(trans‐3‐methylidenecyclopropane‐1,2‐diyl)dimethanediyl]bis(diphenylphosphane) ((±)‐ 12 ), were fully characterized by standard spectroscopic techniques. These new classes of C2‐symmetric bidentate ligands have the potential to be used in asymmetric catalysis.  相似文献

Novel bis(imidazole‐2‐thion‐4‐yl)‐ phosphanes ( 2a–d ) were synthesized via lithiation of the precursor imidazole‐2‐thiones followed by the phosphanylation reaction. Oxidation of bis(imidazole‐2‐thion‐4‐yl)phosphane 2b–d with elemental sulfur and selenium led selectively and in good yields to the P‐thio ( 3b–d ) and P‐seleno ( 4c ) derivatives of bis(imidazole‐2‐thion‐4‐yl)phosphanes, respectively. The treatment of 2a,c with phosphorus trichloride gives the corresponding P‐chloro derivatives 5a,c . These compounds were unambiguously characterized by elemental analyses, spectroscopic and spectrometric methods, in addition by single‐crystal X‐ray structure analysis in the case of 2d . © 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Unambiguous resonance assignments of diastereotopic CH2 protons in the anomeric side chain of nine alkyl‐ and aralkylselenoglycosides have been carried out on the basis of experimental CPMG‐HSQMBC measurements and theoretical second order polarization propagator approach (SOPPA) calculations of geminal 77Se‐1H spin‐spin coupling constants involving diastereotopic pro‐R and pro‐S protons. Theoretical conformational analyses have been performed at the MP2/6‐311G** level. The conformational space of each of the selenoglycosides under study could be adequately described as a mixture of six interconverting conformers with the molar fractions depending on the nature of the side chain substituent at the selenium atom. The good agreement observed between measured and the weighted conformational averaged values of the calculated coupling constants provides a basis for reliable diastereotopic assignments in this type of carbohydrate structures. In a series of separate experiments reaction between N,N′‐diethyl‐2‐thiobarbituric acid and acetylenic diesters in the presence of isocyanides or triphenylphosphine led to highly functionalized 4H‐pyrano[2,3‐d]thiopyrimidine or 1,4‐di‐ionic organophosphorus derivatives. The 1H NMR spectra of diethyl‐7‐(2,6‐dimethylphenylamino)‐4‐oxo‐2‐thio‐ 1,3‐diethyl‐4H‐pyrano[2,3‐d]pyrimidine‐5,6‐dicarboxylate showed dynamic NMR effect that was attributed to restricted rotation around the aryl‐nitrogen single bond. Activation free energy (ΔG) for this process is about 54.85 ± 2 kJ mol−1. Betaines as 1,4‐diionic organophosphorus compounds in this reaction are possessed of two vicinal stereogenic centers and exist in the solution as a mixture of two diastereoisomers. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
