Tunable diode laser absorption spectroscopy (TDLAS) has been widely employed in atmospheric trace gases detecting and industrial control due to its high sensitivity, selectivity, and rapidity of response. An open path TDLAS system is developed for monitoring large scale methane leakage around the oil refinery.The tunable distributed feedback (DFB) diode laser emits at 1.65μm. In order to enhance the sensitivity,a system combining long open path and second harmonic detection technique is developed. The test results show that the time resolution is less than 0.1 second and the detection limit is lower than 3.6 ppmv. This system is adapted for monitoring a large scale methane concentration changing trend instead of measuring its absolute concentration.  相似文献

A photonic-crystal tunable 1.55 μm laser diode is fitted with a wavelength monitor on its rear side. The 250-μm long laser based on a coupled-cavity design has approximately 15 nm tunability. The wavelength monitor collects and differentially feeds two-photodetecting areas, thanks to a mode conversion to a higher-order mode (a mini-stopband), followed by tunneling through a thin clad. The layout is numerically optimized to minimize unwanted reflections. Electrical cross-talk was prevented through guard rings and trenches. The correlation between wavelength and the monitor photocurrent ratio demonstrates a 10–20 GHz stabilization capability, or a 15 nm monitoring range.  相似文献

A deconvolution procedure commonly used for resolution enhancement of spectra has been applied to the determination of the response function of a tunable diode laser spectrometer. The method is sufficiently fast and simple for routine application when non-negligible instrumental broadening must be corrected for. Absolute linestrengths of CH4 in the 1327 cm−1 region and line positions of HNO3 in the 1335 cm−1 region, measured with the aid of the deconvolution technique, are reported here.  相似文献

讨论了一种新的高灵敏度甲烷遥测方法,利用可调谐激光二极管的调制光谱技术扫描甲烷的吸收峰,通过在测量光路中插入参考气池,增强低浓度情况下的吸收峰辨识能力,以提高甲烷浓度遥测信号的信噪比.此外,可以将激光器的中心波长锁定至气体吸收峰的峰值位置从而使仪器工作于吸收峰锁定模式,进行甲烷浓度的连续监测.实验结果表明,在测量距离分别为10 m和20 m时,周围环境中的甲烷积分浓度探测极限可以分别达到5 ppm·m和16 ppm·m.在吸收峰锁定工作模式下,系统在37 m距离处具有22 ppm·m的检出限,并可以监测甲烷浓度的快速变化.  相似文献

We present a new concept for an electronically tunable diode laser. It is based on an external-cavity configuration with simultaneous feedback and intracavity spatial separation of the laser's spectral components. The electronical tunability is achieved by insertion of a liquid-crystal array as an electronically controlled aperture into the region of spatial separation of the spectral components. Wavelength tunability without mechanical movement over a range of 10 nm and two-color operation are demonstrated with a 670-nm laser diode.  相似文献

Design and characteristics of an external cavity single mode GaAs diode laser are described which allow continuous wavelength tuning over 50 GHz without mode hops. Tuning is achieved by synchronous tilting of both a thin solid etalon and a Brewster plate inside the laser resonator. Stabilizing the laser frequency to an external Fabry-Perot interferometer yields a frequency stability of 1 MHz at output powers up to 20 m W.  相似文献

可调谐二极管激光吸收光谱技术测量气体浓度时,由于测量氛围温度变化的影响引起解调的二次谐波信号发生变化,最终导致浓度测量的较大误差. 为了修正温度变化对浓度反演结果的影响,适应工业测量、燃烧诊断的需要,采用通过实验所得温度关系的数值拟合修正方法即经验公式修正和根据HITRAN数据库参数的理论关系即理论公式修正两种方法进行分析与讨论. 实验中采用在50 cm长的高温管式炉中通入高温安全的21%浓度的 氧气为目标测定气体,选定760.77 nm的中心吸收波长,测量了温度变化范围为300–900 K,间隔50 K的情况下所得到的谐波信号,并利用一次谐波比值消元法消除光强波动影响后的结果,得出了不同温度下未修正的原始浓度值和通过修正方法后的修正值. 实验结果表明所述的经验公式和理论公式两种修正方法对温度影响都有一定的抑制作用,可以应用到温度变化引起的气体浓度误差修正监测中,为下一步开展燃烧诊断实时在线监测提供了依据. 关键词: 可调谐二极管激光吸收光谱 (TDLAS) 温度修正 经验公式 理论公式  相似文献

可调谐半导体激光吸收光谱技术(TDLAS)具有高选择性、高准确性的优点,为逃逸氨的在线检测提供了可靠的技术手段。首先研究了温度对NH3浓度检测的影响,表明在25300℃之间,浓度随温度的升高而降低;然后在室温为25℃时,利用TDLAS系统对浓度为10300℃之间,浓度随温度的升高而降低;然后在室温为25℃时,利用TDLAS系统对浓度为10100ppm的NH3进行检测,采集得到其二次谐波光谱。比较了单光程和多光程样品池测量结果,得到单光程样品池最低检出限为22.9ppm,多光程样品池的检测限为1.21ppm,多光程样品池能够明显地提高检测精度。结果表明,该系统能够适应现场测量环境。  相似文献

At temperatures up to 1300 K the high resolution spectrum has been measured for the 1-0 through 7-6 vibrational transitions of 7LiF and the 1-0 through 8-7 vibrational transitions of 6LiF. These infrared ro-vibrational measurements have been combined with microwave measurements taken from the literature to obtain a set of ten Dunham potential constants that reproduce all the measurements for both isotopic species to within their experimental uncertainty. The band center for the v = 1-0 transition is 894.34104±0.00020 cm?1 for 7LiF and 946.12074±0.00024 cm?1 for 6LiF.  相似文献

A high resolution infra-red PbSe diode laser spectrometer has been developed for application in air pollution monitoring and mineral prospecting. This instrument possesses three cells for measurement and calibration. Correlation techniques have been applied to increase the sensitivity. We demonstrate the excellent spectral properties of a diode laser setup that combines good tunability with superb short-term frequency stability and controllability. It is based on merging two concepts, the diode laser with resonant optical feedback and the grating stabilized diode laser. To characterize the short-term performance we beat two essentially identical diode lasers and find a short-term linewidth of ~11 kHz. Phase locking between these lasers is achieved with a servo bandwidth as small as 46 kHz, although an analog phase detector is used that requires subradian residual phase error. Despite small phase error detection range and small servo bandwidth, cycle-slip-free phase locking is accomplished for typically many 10 min, and the optical power is essentially contained in a spectral window of less than 20 mHz relative to the optical reference. Due to the excellent performance this laser concept is well suited for atomic or molecular coherence experiments, which require phase locking of different lasers to each other, and as part of a flywheel for optical clocks.  相似文献

A tunable diode laser absorption spectrometer operating in the 10 μm range is described, which for the first time permits simultaneous detection and quantification of the five naturally most abundant ozone isotopomers: 16O3, 16O16O18O, 16O18O16O, 16O16O17O, and 16O17O16O. Ozone samples of 25 μmole size are analysed with an estimated accuracy of 6‰ (2σ). This level of accuracy is demonstrated by comparing spectroscopically determined isotopologue enrichments of 16O2 17O and 16O2 18O with mass spectrometer measurements. Samples for the comparison were generated from natural oxygen in an electric discharge under two different pressure conditions. The precision obtained is sufficient to study both the isotopic and the symmetry dependence of the unique oxygen isotope anomaly in ozone formation, which shows isotopomer specific fractionation values well in the 10% range. 基于可调谐半导体激光吸收光谱技术(TDLAS),设计了气体浓度二维分布重建系统。将单路可调谐激光分为24路,交叉穿过目标区域,得到24组直接吸收信号(DA),并采用代数迭代法(ART)计算得到目标区域气体浓度二维分布。搭建了二维气体浓度分布测量试验台,利用中心波长在1.653μm的DFB激光器作为光源,选取HITRAN数据库CH4的2v3带R(3)线作为计算谱线进行数值模拟和试验验证,并对重建结果进行了误差分析。结果表明重建系统能很好的实现气体二维浓度分布重建测量。  相似文献

An acousto-optical spectrometer has been constructed using a visible laser diode light source. The advantages of a visible laser diode in this application over the more prevalent infrared laser diodes are discussed. The instrument response function (IRF) of a spectrometer limits the accuracy of measured spectroscopic parameters by broadening recorded spectral lines/features. We describe methods to model the effects of the IRF on spectral data, to minimize the IRF widths, and to measure the resulting width of the spectrometer IRF. We have modeled the IRF of our Tunable Diode Laser Spectrometer as a Voigt function. A real-time method of eliminating the effects of low-frequency spectrometer drift has been implemented and has resulted in a substantial reduction in the width of the IRF, its residual Gaussian component reduced from about to about . An accurate measurement of the IRF Gaussian width utilizes a computationally simple method making use of the spectral dependence of the RMS noise of each signal-averaged data point. Various noise sources affecting the spectrometer (preamp/detector noise, laser AM noise, and laser FM noise) are identified and separately quantified by use of the same method. The IRF Gaussian-width measurement can be automatically applied to each measured spectrum of an experimental data set. A related method is discussed which allows accurate determination of the spectral dependence of statistical noise appropriate for use in quantitative Chi-square fitting of absorption spectra. We explore simple, efficient numerical processes which can dramatically enhance the quality and usefulness of acquired spectral data, improving the ability to apply TDL spectroscopy to high-precision, quantitative measurements and the determination of detailed spectroscopic lineshape parameters. This paper provides a guide for interested readers to implement these developments in their own spectrometers.  相似文献

A new external-cavity diode laser system based on an extended version of the Littman configuration is investigated. In our laser system the tuning mirror is replaced with a second grating mounted at the Littrow angle. This double-grating design provides a smaller passive bandwidth than the grating-mirror configuration, which is used to compensate for the large angle-of-incidence-dependent losses of the grazing-incidence grating. This results in a broader continuous tuning range with an improved mode stability. Because two laser diodes, emitting at 820 and 775 nm, respectively, are used, the external-cavity laser is continuously tunable without mode hops across 35 nm at 820 nm and 27 nm at 775 nm. Such a laser was used to measure the absorption lines of the oxygen A band around 762 nm. The complete R - and P -rotational branches of the b summation operator(g)(1) (+)(nu(??)=0)?X (3) summation operator(g)(-)(nu (?)=0) transition were recorded in a single-wavelength scan.  相似文献

A spectrometer, based on the frequency down-chirped radiation from a pulsed quantum-cascade laser, capable of detecting fluctuations in local ground level methane and nitrous oxide concentrations over a time scale of minutes, is presented.
