If the second order problem u(t) + Bu(t) + Au(t) = f(t), u(0) =u(0) = 0 has L^p-maximal regularity, 1 〈 p 〈 ∞, the analyticity of the corresponding propagator of the sine type is shown by obtaining the estimates of ‖λ(λ^2 + λB + A)^-1‖ and ‖B(λ^2 + λB + A)^-1‖ for λ∈ C with Reλ 〉 ω, where the constant ω≥ 0.  相似文献

In this paper, first, we determine the quotient groups of the Hecke groups H q ), where q ≥ 7 is prime, by their principal congruence subgroups H p q ) oflevel p, where p is also prime. We deal with the case of q = 7 separately, because of its close relation with the Hurwitz groups. Then, using the obtained results, we find the principal congruence subgroups of the extended Hecke groups $ \overline H $ \overline H (λ q ) for q ≥ 5 prime. Finally, we show that some of the quotient groups of the Hecke group H q ) and the extended Hecke group $ \overline H $ \overline H (λ q ), q ≥ 5 prime, by their principal congruence subgroups H p q ) are M*-groups.  相似文献

We obtain a generalization of the complete Perron effect whereby the characteristic exponents of all solutions change their sign from negative for the linear approximation system to positive for a nonlinear system with perturbations of higher-order smallness [Differ. Uravn., 2010, vol. 46, no. 10, pp. 1388–1402]. Namely, for arbitrary parameters λ 1λ 2 < 0 and m > 1 and for arbitrary intervals [b i , d i ) ⊂ [λ i ,+∞), i = 1, 2, with boundaries d 1b 2, we prove the existence of (i) a two-dimensional linear differential system with bounded coefficient matrix A(t) infinitely differentiable on the half-line t ≥ 1 and with characteristic exponents λ 1(A) = λ 1λ 2(A) = λ 2 < 0; (ii) a perturbation f(t, y) of smallness order m > 1 infinitely differentiable with respect to time t > 1 and continuously differentiable with respect to y 1 and y 2, y = (y 1, y 2) ∈ R 2 such that all nontrivial solutions y(t, c), cR 2, of the nonlinear system .y = A(t)y + f(t, y), yR 2, t ≥ 1, are infinitely extendible to the right and have characteristic exponents λ[y] ∈ [b 1, d 1) for c 2 = 0 and λ[y] ∈ [b 2, d 2) for c 2 ≠ 0.  相似文献

Let X,X(1),X(2),... be independent identically distributed random variables with mean zero and a finite variance. Put S(n) = X(1) + ... + X(n), n = 1, 2,..., and define the Markov stopping time η y = inf {n ≥ 1: S(n) ≥ y} of the first crossing a level y ≥ 0 by the random walk S(n), n = 1, 2,.... In the case $ \mathbb{E} $ \mathbb{E} |X|3 < ∞, the following relation was obtained in [8]: $ \mathbb{P}\left( {\eta _0 = n} \right) = \frac{1} {{n\sqrt n }}\left( {R + \nu _n + o\left( 1 \right)} \right) $ \mathbb{P}\left( {\eta _0 = n} \right) = \frac{1} {{n\sqrt n }}\left( {R + \nu _n + o\left( 1 \right)} \right) as n → ∞, where the constant R and the bounded sequence ν n were calculated in an explicit form. Moreover, there were obtained necessary and sufficient conditions for the limit existence $ H\left( y \right): = \mathop {\lim }\limits_{n \to \infty } n^{{3 \mathord{\left/ {\vphantom {3 2}} \right. \kern-\nulldelimiterspace} 2}} \mathbb{P}\left( {\eta _y = n} \right) $ H\left( y \right): = \mathop {\lim }\limits_{n \to \infty } n^{{3 \mathord{\left/ {\vphantom {3 2}} \right. \kern-\nulldelimiterspace} 2}} \mathbb{P}\left( {\eta _y = n} \right) for every fixed y ≥ 0, and there was found a representation for H(y). The present paper was motivated by the following reason. In [8], the authors unfortunately did not cite papers [1, 5] where the above-mentioned relations were obtained under weaker restrictions. Namely, it was proved in [5] the existence of the limit $ \mathop {\lim }\limits_{n \to \infty } n^{{3 \mathord{\left/ {\vphantom {3 2}} \right. \kern-\nulldelimiterspace} 2}} \mathbb{P}\left( {\eta _y = n} \right) $ \mathop {\lim }\limits_{n \to \infty } n^{{3 \mathord{\left/ {\vphantom {3 2}} \right. \kern-\nulldelimiterspace} 2}} \mathbb{P}\left( {\eta _y = n} \right) for every fixed y ≥ 0 under the condition $ \mathbb{E} $ \mathbb{E} X 2 < ∞ only; In [1], an explicit form of the limit $ \mathop {\lim }\limits_{n \to \infty } n^{{3 \mathord{\left/ {\vphantom {3 2}} \right. \kern-\nulldelimiterspace} 2}} \mathbb{P}\left( {\eta _0 = n} \right) $ \mathop {\lim }\limits_{n \to \infty } n^{{3 \mathord{\left/ {\vphantom {3 2}} \right. \kern-\nulldelimiterspace} 2}} \mathbb{P}\left( {\eta _0 = n} \right) was found under the same condition $ \mathbb{E} $ \mathbb{E} X 2 < ∞ in the case when the summand X has an arithmetic distribution. In the present paper, we prove that the main assertion in [5] fails and we correct the original proof. It worth noting that this corrected version was formulated in [8] as a conjecture.  相似文献

Let ξ, ξ1, ξ2, ... be independent identically distributed random variables, and S n :=Σ j=1 n j , $ \bar S $ \bar S := sup n≥0 S n . If Eξ = −a < 0 then we call transient those phenomena that happen to the distribution $ \bar S $ \bar S as a → 0 and $ \bar S $ \bar S tends to infinity in probability. We consider the case when Eξ fails to exist and study transient phenomena as a → 0 for the following two random walk models:
1.  The first model assumes that ξ j can be represented as ξ j = ζ j + αη j , where ζ1, ζ 2 , ... and η 1, η 2, ... are two independent sequences of independent random variables, identically distributed in each sequence, such that supn≥0Σ j=1 n ζ j = ∞, sup n≥0Σ j=1 n η j < ∞, and $ \bar S $ \bar S < ∞ almost surely.
2.  In the second model we consider a triangular array scheme with parameter a and assume that the right tail distribution P j t) ∼ V (t) as t→∞ depends weakly on a, while the left tail distribution is P j < −t) = W(t/a), where V and W are regularly varying functions and $ \bar S $ \bar S < ∞ almost surely for every fixed α > 0.
We obtain some results for identically and differently distributed ξ j .  相似文献

LetX be a Banach space and letA be the infinitesimal generator of a differentiable semigroup {T(t) |t ≥ 0}, i.e. aC 0-semigroup such thattT(t)x is differentiable on (0, ∞) for everyx εX. LetB be a bounded linear operator onX and let {S(t) |t ≥ 0} be the semigroup generated byA +B. Renardy recently gave an example which shows that {S(t) |t ≥ 0} need not be differentiable. In this paper we give a condition on the growth of ‖T′(t)‖ ast ↓ 0 which is sufficient to ensure that {S(t) |t ≥ 0} is differentiable. Moreover, we use Renardy’s example to study the optimality of our growth condition. Our results can be summarized roughly as follows:
(i)  If lim sup t→0+t log‖T′(t)‖/log(1/2) = 0 then {S(t) |t ≥ 0} is differentiable.
(ii)  If 0<L=lim sup t→0+t log‖T′(t)‖/log(1/2)<∞ thentS(t ) is differentiable on (L, ∞) in the uniform operator topology, but need not be differentiable near zero
(iii)  For each function α: (0, 1) → (0, ∞) with α(t)/log(1/t) → ∞ ast ↓ 0, Renardy’s example can be adjusted so that limsup t→0+t log‖T′(t)‖/α(t) = 0 andtS(t) is nowhere differentiable on (0, ∞).
We also show that if lim sup t→0+t pT′(t)‖<∞ for a givenp ε [1, ∞), then lim sup t→0+t pS′(t)‖<∞; it was known previously that if limsup t→0+t pT′(t)‖<∞, then {S(t) |t ≥ 0} is differentiable and limsup t→0+t 2p–1S′(t)‖<∞.  相似文献

This work is a continuation of paper [1], where was considered analog of the problem of the first return for ultrametric diffusion. The main result of this paper consists in construction and investigation of stochastic quantity $ \tau _{B_r (a)} $ \tau _{B_r (a)} (ω), which has meaning of the first passage time into domain B r (a) by trajectories of the Markov stochastic process ζ(t, ω).Markov stochastic process is given by distribution density f(x, t), x ∈ ℚ p , tR +, which is solution of the Cauchy problem

Considering the positive d-dimensional lattice point Z + d (d ≥ 2) with partial ordering ≤, let {X k: kZ + d } be i.i.d. random variables taking values in a real separable Hilbert space (H, ‖ · ‖) with mean zero and covariance operator Σ, and set $ S_n = \sum\limits_{k \leqslant n} {X_k } $ S_n = \sum\limits_{k \leqslant n} {X_k } , nZ + d . Let σ i 2, i ≥ 1, be the eigenvalues of Σ arranged in the non-increasing order and taking into account the multiplicities. Let l be the dimension of the corresponding eigenspace, and denote the largest eigenvalue of Σ by σ 2. Let logx = ln(xe), x ≥ 0. This paper studies the convergence rates for $ \sum\limits_n {\frac{{\left( {\log \log \left| n \right|} \right)^b }} {{\left| n \right|\log \left| n \right|}}} P\left( {\left\| {S_n } \right\| \geqslant \sigma \varepsilon \sqrt {2\left| n \right|\log \log \left| n \right|} } \right) $ \sum\limits_n {\frac{{\left( {\log \log \left| n \right|} \right)^b }} {{\left| n \right|\log \left| n \right|}}} P\left( {\left\| {S_n } \right\| \geqslant \sigma \varepsilon \sqrt {2\left| n \right|\log \log \left| n \right|} } \right) . We consider one-phase (formal) asymptotic solutions in the Kuzmak-Whitham form for the nonlinear Klein-Gordon equation and for the Korteweg-de Vries equation. In this case, the leading asymptotic expansion term has the form X(S(x, t)/h+Φ(x, t), I(x, t), x, t) +O(h), where h ≪ 1 is a small parameter and the phase S}(x, t) and slowly changing parameters I(x, t) are to be found from the system of “averaged” Whitham equations. We obtain the equations for the phase shift Φ(x, t) by studying the second-order correction to the leading term. The corresponding procedure for finding the phase shift is then nonuniform with respect to the transition to a linear (and weakly nonlinear) case. Our observation, which essentially follows from papers by Haberman and collaborators, is that if we incorporate the phase shift Φ into the phase and adjust the parameter Ĩ by setting $ \tilde S $ \tilde S = S +hΦ+O(h 2),Ĩ = I + hI 1 + O(h 2), then the functions $ \tilde S $ \tilde S (x, t, h) and Ĩ(x, t, h) become solutions of the Cauchy problem for the same Whitham system but with modified initial conditions. These functions completely determine the leading asymptotic term, which is X($ \tilde S $ \tilde S (x, t, h)/h, Ĩ(x, t, h), x, t) + O(h).  相似文献

Let $ \mathfrak{S} $ \mathfrak{S} be a locally compact semigroup, ω be a weight function on $ \mathfrak{S} $ \mathfrak{S} , and M a ($ \mathfrak{S} $ \mathfrak{S} , ω) be the weighted semigroup algebra of $ \mathfrak{S} $ \mathfrak{S} . Let L 0 ($ \mathfrak{S} $ \mathfrak{S} ; M a ($ \mathfrak{S} $ \mathfrak{S} , ω)) be the C*-algebra of all M a ($ \mathfrak{S} $ \mathfrak{S} , ω)-measurable functions g on $ \mathfrak{S} $ \mathfrak{S} such that g/ω vanishes at infinity. We introduce and study a strict topology β 1($ \mathfrak{S} $ \mathfrak{S} , ω) on M a ($ \mathfrak{S} $ \mathfrak{S} , ω) and show that the Banach space L 0 ($ \mathfrak{S} $ \mathfrak{S} ; M a ($ \mathfrak{S} $ \mathfrak{S} , ω)) can be identified with the dual of M a ($ \mathfrak{S} $ \mathfrak{S} , ω) endowed with β 1($ \mathfrak{S} $ \mathfrak{S} , ω). We finally investigate some properties of the locally convex topology β 1($ \mathfrak{S} $ \mathfrak{S} , ω) on M a ($ \mathfrak{S} $ \mathfrak{S} , ω).  相似文献

Let G be the complexification of the real Lie algebra so(3) and A = C[t1^±1, t2^±1] be the Lau-ent polynomial algebra with commuting variables. Let L:(t1, t2, 1) = G c .A be the twisted multi-loop Lie algebra. Recently we have studied the universal central extension, derivations and its vertex operator representations. In the present paper we study the automorphism group and bosonic representations ofL(t1, t2, 1).  相似文献

Let ∧ be the Z2-Galois covering of the Grassmann algebra A over a field k of characteristic not equal to 2. In this paper, the dimensional formulae of Hochschild homology and cohomology groups of ∧ are calculated explicitly. And the cyclic homology of∧ can also be calculated when the underlying field is of characteristic zero. As a result, we prove that there is an isomorphism from i≥1 HH^i(∧) to i≥1 HH^i(∧).  相似文献

In this paper, the following results are obtained: 1) It is proved that, in the fourth order differential neighborhood, a regular hypersurface V n−1 embedded into a projective-metric space K n , n ≥ 3, intrinsically induces a dual projective-metric space $ \bar K_n $ \bar K_n . 2) An invariant analytical condition is established under which a normalization of a hypersurface V n−1 ⊂ K n (a tangential hypersurface $ \bar V_{n - 1} $ \bar V_{n - 1} ⊂ $ \bar K_n $ \bar K_n ) by quasitensor fields H n i , H i ($ \bar H_n^i $ \bar H_n^i , $ \bar H_i $ \bar H_i ) induces a Riemannian space of constant curvature. If the two conditions are fulfilled simultaneously, the spaces R n−1 and $ \bar R_{n - 1} $ \bar R_{n - 1} are spaces of the same constant curvature $ K = - \tfrac{1} {c} $ K = - \tfrac{1} {c} . 3) Geometric interpretations of the obtained analytical conditions are given.  相似文献

We study the class $ \mathfrak{P}_n $ \mathfrak{P}_n of algebraic polynomials P n (x, y) in two variables of total degree n whose uniform norm on the unit circle Γ1 centered at the origin is at most 1: $ \left\| {P_n } \right\|_{C(\Gamma _1 )} $ \left\| {P_n } \right\|_{C(\Gamma _1 )} ≤ 1. The extension of polynomials from the class $ \mathfrak{P}_n $ \mathfrak{P}_n to the plane with the least uniform norm on the concentric circle Γ r of radius r is investigated. It is proved that the values θ n (r) of the best extension of the class $ \mathfrak{P}_n $ \mathfrak{P}_n satisfy the equalities θ n (r) = r n for r > 1 and θ n (r) = r n−1 for 0 < r < 1.  相似文献

Let A and B be uniform algebras. Suppose that α ≠ 0 and A 1A. Let ρ, τ: A 1A and S, T: A 1B be mappings. Suppose that ρ(A 1), τ(A 1) and S(A 1), T(A 1) are closed under multiplications and contain expA and expB, respectively. If ‖S(f)T(g) − α = ‖ρ(f)τ(g) − α for all f, gA 1, S(e 1)−1S(A 1) and S(e 1) ∈ T(A 1) for some e 1A 1 with ρ(e 1) = 1, then there exists a real-algebra isomorphism $ \tilde S $ \tilde S : AB such that $ \tilde S $ \tilde S (ρ(f)) = S(e 1)−1 S(f) for every fA 1. We also give some applications of this result.  相似文献

We provide a characterization of the Banach spaces X with a Schauder basis (e n ) n∈ℕ which have the property that the dual space X* is naturally isomorphic to the space L diag(X) of diagonal operators with respect to (e n ) n∈ℕ. We also construct a Hereditarily Indecomposable Banach space $ \mathfrak{X} $ \mathfrak{X} D with a Schauder basis (e n ) n∈ℕ such that $ \mathfrak{X} $ \mathfrak{X} *D is isometric to L diag($ \mathfrak{X} $ \mathfrak{X} D) with these Banach algebras being Hereditarily Indecomposable. Finally, we show that every TL diag($ \mathfrak{X} $ \mathfrak{X} D) is of the form T = λI + K, where K is a compact operator.  相似文献

Let M be a subset of r-dimensional vector space Vτ (F2) over a finite field F2, consisting of n nonzero vectors, such that every t vectors of M are linearly independent over F2. Then M is called (n, t)-linearly independent array of length n over Vτ(F2). The (n, t)-linearly independent array M that has the maximal number of elements is called the maximal (r, t)-linearly independent array, and the maximal number is denoted by M(r, t). It is an interesting combinatorial structure, which has many applications in cryptography and coding theory. It can be used to construct orthogonal arrays, strong partial balanced designs. It can also be used to design good linear codes, In this paper, we construct a class of maximal (r, t)-linearly independent arrays of length r + 2, and provide some enumerator theorems.  相似文献

We first propose a generalization of the notion of Mathieu subspaces of associative algebras $ \mathcal{A} $ \mathcal{A} , which was introduced recently in [Zhao W., Generalizations of the image conjecture and the Mathieu conjecture, J. Pure Appl. Algebra, 2010, 214(7), 1200–1216] and [Zhao W., Mathieu subspaces of associative algebras], to $ \mathcal{A} $ \mathcal{A} -modules $ \mathcal{M} $ \mathcal{M} . The newly introduced notion in a certain sense also generalizes the notion of submodules. Related with this new notion, we also introduce the sets σ(N) and τ(N) of stable elements and quasi-stable elements, respectively, for all R-subspaces N of $ \mathcal{A} $ \mathcal{A} -modules $ \mathcal{M} $ \mathcal{M} , where R is the base ring of $ \mathcal{A} $ \mathcal{A} . We then prove some general properties of the sets σ(N) and τ(N). Furthermore, examples from certain modules of the quasi-stable algebras [Zhao W., Mathieu subspaces of associative algebras], matrix algebras over fields and polynomial algebras are also studied.  相似文献
