Complex formalism of Riemann–Silberstein–Majorana–Oppenheimer in Maxwell electrodynamics is extended to the case of arbitrary
pseudo-Riemannian space-time in accordance with the tetrad recipe of Tetrode–Weyl–Fock–Ivanenko. In this approach, the Maxwell
equations are solved exactly on the background of static cosmological Einstein model, parameterized by special cylindrical
coordinates and realized as a Riemann space of constant positive curvature. A discrete frequency spectrum for electromagnetic
modes depending on the curvature radius of space and three parameters is found, and corresponding basis electromagnetic solutions
have been constructed explicitly. In the case of elliptical model a part of the constructed solutions should be rejected by
continuity considerations. Similar treatment is given for the Maxwell equations in hyperbolic Lobachevsky model, the complete
basis of electromagnetic solutions in corresponding cylindrical coordinates has been constructed as well, no quantization
of frequencies of electromagnetic modes arises. 相似文献

We study the homotopy type of closed connected orientable topological 4–manifolds M with Λ–free second homotopy group, where Λ is the integral group ring of π1(M). This is related with problem N.4.53 of [23], and extends some results proved for the class of closed 4–manifolds with free fundamental group [10][11]. Other
applications on special classes of closed topological manifolds complete the paper.

Conditions are specified which are necessary and sufficient for a logic over K4 to possess the weak interpolation property.
For this goal to be met, simple transitive modal algebras are described, and we establish a criterion for the class of such

The law of large numbers (LLN) over classes of functions is a classical topic of empirical processes theory. The properties
characterizing classes of functions on which the LLN holds uniformly (i.e. Glivenko–Cantelli classes) have been widely studied
in the literature. An elegant sufficient condition for such a property is finiteness of the Koltchinskii–Pollard entropy integral,
and other conditions have been formulated in terms of suitable combinatorial complexities (e.g. the Vapnik–Chervonenkis dimension). In this paper, we endow the class of functions with a probability measure and consider the LLN relative to the associated L
r
metric. This framework extends the case of uniform convergence over , which is recovered when r goes to infinity. The main result is a L

-LLN in terms of a suitable uniform entropy integral which generalizes the Koltchinskii–Pollard entropy integral.

Hulek and others conjectured that the unique differential three-form F (up to scalar) on the Siegel threefold associated to the group Γ1,3(2) comes from the Saito-Kurokawa lift of the elliptic newform h of weight 4 for Γ0(6). This F have been already constructed as a Borcherds product (cf. Gritsenko and Hulek in Int Math Res Notices 17:915–937, 1999).
In this paper, we prove this conjecture by using the Yoshida lift and we settle a conjecture which relates our theorem. A
remarkable fact is that the Yoshida lift using the usual test function cannot give the Saito-Kurokawa type lift of weight
3 associated to the group Γ1,3(2). So important task is to find special test functions for the Yoshida lift at the bad primes 2 and 3.

Pattern formation in associative neural networks is related to a
quadratic optimization problem. Biological considerations imply
that the functional is constrained in the L
\infty norm and in

1 norm. We consider such optimization problems. We derive
the Euler–Lagrange equations, and construct basic properties of
the maximizers. We study in some detail the case where the kernel
of the quadratic functional is finite-dimensional. In this case
the optimization problem can be fully characterized by the

Abstract Let X be a non–hyperelliptic curve of genus g which is a double covering of a hyperelliptic curve C of genus h. In this paper, we prove that, if h≥ 3 and g≥ 4h+5, then X admits a complete, base point free g1g–2. Moreover, if h=3, this result holds under the mild condition g≥ 4h+3=15.

2-invariant R-matrices R(λ) by the method of reduction of the Yang-Baxter equation to subspaces of a given spin. Restrictions
on the possible structure of several leading coefficients in the spectral decomposition are derived. The origin and structure
of the exceptional solution for spin s = 3 are explained. A similar analysis is performed for constant R-matrices. In particular,
