We demonstrate the transmission of 2.5-Gb/s WDM signals spaced at 5 GHz over 480 km of single-mode fiber. The results indicate that it should be possible to transmit more than one thousand 2.5-Gb/s channels spaced at 5 GHz over long distance. 相似文献

A Clock Enhanced Loop for Simultaneous Error-Free Demultiplexing and Clock Recovery of 160Gb/s OTDM Signal Single-Channel Transmission over 100km 下载免费PDF全文
A simple clock enhanced loop of cascaded electro-absorption modulators (EAMs) and 10 GHz clock recovery modules is presented. The intensity of harmonic of clock-frequency component is analyzed theoretically and verified experimentally in a 160 Gb/s OTDM 100 km transmission system. The 10 GHz clock component is enhanced obviously before launching into the clock recovery module and the recovered clock signal exhibits low rms jitter of 〈400 fs. Moreover, completely error^-1free (10-12) transmission is observed for more than two hours without using forward error correction technology. The power penalty is about 3.6 dB. The proposed loop has merits of enhancing base clock component, simultaneously de-multiplexing and clock recovery, which make the performance of this loop more stable and high suppression of non-target channels. 相似文献

用精密扫描掩模法写入宽阻带啁啾光纤光栅,掩模板背面两端各10%长度处镀有按4阶高斯函数透过率的膜,写入的啁啾光栅的时延纹波最大值为20ps。为减少写入光纤光栅的偏振模色散,研制了新的低偏振模色散光纤光栅补偿写入法。采用补偿写入法前的平均微分群时延为9.1406 ps;采用补偿写入法后的平均微分群时延为0.1521 ps。并利用低偏振模色散光纤光栅对40Gb/s光时分复用系统在普通G.652光纤传输122km的色散进行了补偿实验,功率代价为1.5dB。 相似文献

设计并研制了带电色散补偿功能的10 Gb/s脉冲转换器。电色散补偿通过时域均衡的方法,消除光纤色散带来的码间串扰;将电色散补偿芯片纳入脉冲转换器设计中,从而提高了其传输距离。所研制的样品光发射部分采用分布反馈激光器加电吸收调制器集成光源,接收部分采用带互阻放大器的雪崩光电二极管光电探测器模块,电色散补偿芯片对光电探测器输出的码流执行色散补偿算法。对样品进行的测试结果表明该脉冲转换器背对背接收灵敏度为-24.6 dBm,经过100 km G.652光纤传输后接收灵敏度为-20.8 dBm。未加电色散补偿功能时,采用相同的光源传输距离仅为50 km。 相似文献

在偏振模色散(PMD)自动补偿技术中,如何根据反馈信号得到相应的控制信号,使补偿速度跟随偏振模色散变化始终是该技术的一个核心问题。提出了一种新颖的自适应抖动跟踪算法,完成了以微波信号为反馈的多自由度的一阶偏振模色散自动反馈补偿系统的跟踪补偿实验。算法成功地解决了传统算法在跟踪搜索过程中易陷入局部极值的问题,有效地克服了系统中的重要控制器件偏振控制器的磁滞现象以及动态补偿时跟踪搜索过程中易出现的瞬间恶化现象。实验结果表明该算法在对出现突发偏振模色散扰动后自动进行补偿的响应速度在ms量级,最快能达到1~2 ms。 相似文献

We report 20 Gb/s transmission of four-level pulse amplitude modulation(PAM) signal using a directly modulated tunable distributed Bragg reflector(DBR) laser. Transmission distance over 20 km was achieved without using optical amplifiers and optical dispersion compensation modules. We experimentally demonstrate a real-time quasi-full-duplex 400G/300 G optical interconnection over 20 km multicore fibers(MCFs), using 10G-class transponders operated in the C-band. Optical delay interferometer(ODI)-based optical frequency equalization is applied to mitigate chirp and dispersion induced impairments,so that the tolerance to inter-symbol interference(ISI) can be enhanced, thus enabling 4 × 25 Gb∕s on-off keying(OOK) transmission per core over severely limited bandwidth channels. Real-time bit error ratio(BER) performances of the bidirectional 400 Gb/s transmission are measured without using extra digital signal processing(DSP) or electrical equalization, which ensures low complexity and less power consumption. 相似文献

提出了一种用于40 Gb/s单信道光纤通信系统中的动态色度色散(CD)补偿技术。采用2×2光开关,色散补偿光纤(DCF)等器件构成可调节色度色散补偿器;提取中心频率为12GHz的窄带电功率信号作为反馈信号控制可调节色度色散补偿器,提取的窄带电功率值随系统中的累积色度色散值的增大而减小。实验证明,整个补偿系统的最长响应时间为0.7 s;补偿范围和补偿精度分别为81.55 ps/nm和5.28 ps/nm,通过增加光开关的数量和缩短每段色散补偿光纤的长度可以进一步提高补偿范围和精度。通过对比补偿前后系统的眼图可以看出:该系统能有效地补偿40 Gb/s光纤通信系统中动态变化的色度色散。 相似文献

In this paper, the dispersion compensation for 4×10 Gb/s, 400 km G.652 fiber by chirped optical fiberBragg grating (FBG)is introduced.For the first time,we have measured and compensated the polarizationmode dispersion(PMD)of FBG, which in each channel is less than 1.1 ps.When the bit crror rate(BER)is 10~(-10)and the bit error is zero, the transmission power penalty of each channel is less than 2 dB, andthe best, result is negative which means that the receiver sensitivity is increased after transmission. 相似文献
