The aim of the present paper is to lay the foundation for a theory of Ehresmann structures in positive characteristic, generalizing the Frobenius-projective and Frobenius-affine structures defined in the previous work. This theory deals with atlases of étale coordinate charts on varieties modeled on homogeneous spaces of algebraic groups, which we call Frobenius–Ehresmann structures. These structures are compared with Cartan geometries in positive characteristic, as well as with higher-dimensional generalizations of dormant indigenous bundles. In particular, we investigate the conditions under which these geometric structures are equivalent to each other. Also, we consider the classification problem of Frobenius–Ehresmann structures on algebraic curves. The latter half of the present paper discusses the deformation theory of indigenous bundles in the algebraic setting. The tangent and obstruction spaces of various deformation functors are computed in terms of the hypercohomology groups of certain complexes. As a consequence, we formulate and prove the Ehresmann–Weil–Thurston principle for Frobenius–Ehresmann structures. This fact asserts that deformations of a variety equipped with a Frobenius–Ehresmann structure are completely determined by their monodromy crystals.  相似文献

In this paper we present a combinatorial proof of the Kronecker–Weber Theorem for global fields of positive characteristic. The main tools are the use of Witt vectors and their arithmetic developed by H.L. Schmid. The key result is to obtain, using counting arguments, how many p-cyclic extensions exist of fixed degree and bounded conductor where only one prime ramifies. We then compare this number with the number of subextensions of cyclotomic function fields of the same type and verify that these two numbers are the same.  相似文献

We give an analog in characteristic p > 0 of theorems given by Gel’fond and Fridman for entire functions. Mainly, we prove that an entire function f of exponential type < p/eln q such that f (σ)(F q [T]) Fq[T] for every 0 ≤ σ < p is a polynomial. Moreover, the bound p/e ln q is optimal. Further results along these lines are also presented.  相似文献

Bezrukavnikov, Mirkovic and Rumynin have recently obtained a derived version of the Beilinson-Bernstein localization theorem for the the Lie algebra of a semisimple algebraic group in positive characteristic p using the sheaf of rings of crystalline differential operators. A central reduction of is the first term of the p-filtration of the ring of the standard differential operators. We observe that the direct image functors of -modules on smooth varieties do not behave well; Kashiwaras equivalence for a closed immersion fails, for example. On the other hand, we find that the direct image as -modules of the structure sheaf of the Frobenius neighbourhood of a point in each Chevalley-Bruhat cell under its inclusion in the flag variety realizes upon taking global sections an infinitesimal Verma module.Revised version: 27 April 2004Supported in part by JSPS Grant in Aid for Scientific Research  相似文献

Consider a complete simply connected hyperbolic surface. The classical Hadamard theorem asserts that at each point of the surface, the exponential mapping from the tangent plane to the surface defines a global diffeomorphism. This can be interpreted as a statement relating the metric flow on the tangent plane with that of the surface. We find an analogue of Hadamard's theorem with metric flow replaced by Hele–Shaw flow, which models the injection of (two-dimensional) fluid into the surface. The Hele–Shaw flow domains are characterized implicitly by a mean value property on harmonic functions.  相似文献

We study the existence of linear series on curves lying on an Enriques surface and general in their complete linear system. Using a method that works also below the Bogomolov–Reider range, we compute, in all cases, the gonality of such curves. We also give a new result about the positive cone of line bundles on an Enriques surface and we show how this relates to the gonality. Dedicated to the memory of Silvano Bispuri. The work of A. L. There are three key ingredients in the study of the minimal genus problem for rational surfaces CP2#nCP2: the generalized adjunction formula, the action of the orthogonal group of the Lorentz space and the geometric construction. In this paper, we prove the uniqueness of the standard form (see Definition 1.1 and Theorem 1.1) of a 2-dimensional homology class under the action of the subgroup of the Lorentz orthogonal group that is realized by the diffeomorphisms of CP2#nCP2.Using the geometric construction, we determine the minimal genera of some classes (see Theorem 1.2).  相似文献

Green’s Conjecture is proved for smooth curves $C$ lying on a rational surface $S$ with an anticanonical pencil, under some mild hypotheses on the line bundle $L=\mathcal{O }_S(C)$ . We investigate the properties of the Ma–Trudinger–Wang nonlocal curvature tensor in the case of surfaces. In particular, we prove that a strict form of the Ma–Trudinger– Wang condition is stable under C 4 perturbation if the nonfocal domains are uniformly convex; and we present new examples of positively curved surfaces which do not satisfy the Ma–Trudinger–Wang condition. As a corollary of our results, optimal transport maps on a “sufficiently flat” ellipsoid are in general nonsmooth.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the structures of monomial Hopf algebras over a field of positive characteristic. A necessary and sufficient condition for the monomial coalgebra Cd(n) to admit Hopf structures is given here, and if it is the case, all graded Hopf structures on Cd(n) are completely classified. Moreover, we construct a Hopf algebras filtration on Cd(n) which will help us to discuss a conjecture posed by Andruskiewitsch and Schneider. Finally combined with a theorem by Montgomery, we give the structure theorem for all monomial Hopf algebras.  相似文献
