In this study, quark and strange quark matter which exist in the first seconds of the early Universe have been studied in the context of general relativity to be able to obtain space–time geometry of first seconds of the early Universe. For this purpose, Einstein’s field equations for quark and strange quark matter in the non static spherically symmetric space–time have been solved by using experimental result that anisotropy parameter of quark matter is very small. We have concluded from obtained solutions that the space–time structure of first seconds of the Early Universe is homogeneous and isotropic. Also we have concluded that the color interactions of the quarks may be origin of primordial magnetic field in the early universe.  相似文献

It is now generally accepted that even low amounts of quenched disorder disrupt long-range order in anisotropic systems with continuous symmetry. However, very little is known on the key item of the nature of the residual order, if any, and particularly if this has quasi-long-range or truly-short-range character. Here we address this problem both experimentally for the nematic 6CB in dilute aerosils and with computer simulations. We find that the residual order is short ranged and scales with disorder density in agreement with the Imry-Ma argument.  相似文献

Considering three two-level atoms initially in the GHZ state, then one atom of them is put into an initially empty cavity and made resonant interaction. It is shown that the emission properties of the atom inside the cavity can be affected only when both of the atoms outside the cavity have been manipulated. The positive thermal gradient is one of the most important parameters during directional solidification. The increase of the thermal gradient usually stabilizes the planar interface in the steady state analysis. However, in the initial transient range of planar instability, the thermal gradient presents complicated effects. Time-dependent analysis shows that the increase of the thermal gradient can enhance both the stabilizing effects and the destabilizing effects on a planar interface. The incubation time first decreases and then increases with the increase of the thermal gradient. Moreover, the initial average wavelength always increases with the thermal gradient increasing, contrary to the effect of the thermal gradient on the steady cellular/dendritic spacing. This reveals the types of spacing adjustment after planar instability.  相似文献

The correctness of the known plane single-ended probe method for measuring the anisotropic ion distribution functions in a gas-discharge plasma has been considered. Analysis has been performed for positive probe potentials relative to the plasma with magnitudes on the order of the mean ion energy, which as a rule is much lower than the mean electron energy. We have analyzed the dependence of the collection surface area of a plane probe on its potential in this range. The structure of the near-probe layer has been determined for an isotropic electron distribution function of the Maxwellian or Druvestein type and an anisotropic ion distribution function. These results are used to derive analytic relations for the correction to the second derivative of the probe current with respect to the plane probe potential. It has been shown that, when the ion distribution function is measured in a wide range of conditions in the gas-discharge plasma, when the approximation of a collisionless probe layer is applicable, and the probe does not perturb the plasma, the dependence of the collection surface area of the probe on the potential can be disregarded in this range.  相似文献

We show that a simple modification of Formulation 1 of Farassat results in a new analytic expression that is highly suitable for broadband noise prediction when extensive turbulence simulation is available. This result satisfies all the stringent requirements, such as permitting the use of the exact geometry and kinematics of the moving body, which we have set as our goal in the derivation of useful acoustic formulas for the prediction of rotating blade and airframe noise. We also derive a simple analytic expression for the autocorrelation of the acoustic pressure that is valid in the near and far fields. Our analysis is based on the time integral of the acoustic pressure that can easily be obtained at any resolution for any observer time interval and digitally analyzed for broadband noise prediction. We have named this result as Formulation 2B of Farassat. One significant consequence of Formulation 2B is the derivation of the acoustic velocity potential for the thickness and loading terms of the Ffowcs Williams–Hawkings (FW-H) equation. This will greatly enhance the usefulness of the Fast Scattering Code (FSC) by providing a high-fidelity boundary condition input for scattering predictions.  相似文献

Ground-state proton radioactivity has been identified from 121Pr. A transition with a proton energy of E(p)=882(10) keV [Q(p)=900(10) keV] and half-life t(1/2)=10(+6)(-3) ms has been observed and is assigned to the decay of a highly prolate deformed 3/2(+) or 3/2(-) Nilsson state. The present result is found to be incompatible with a previously reported observation of ground-state proton radioactivity from 121Pr, which would have represented the discovery of this phenomenon.  相似文献

A theoretical analysis of the pump-induced temperature change and associated thermal phase shift occurring in a fiber laser is presented. The temperature rise and thermal phase shift from the moment when pump is turned on to steady-state in fiber lasers, such as Yb-doped fiber laser, are numerical calculated. With the same parameters, the numerical solution is in good agreement with the finite-element (ANSYS software) simulation.  相似文献

Breast screening acceptability is dependent on sensitivity and recall rate. We aimed to establish the recall rate for MRI and mammography, separately and together, when screening a cohort of women at high genetic risk. Women aged 35-49 years in the MARIBS study form the cohort. We analysed the recall rate, the number of extra tests and their effectiveness. Wilcoxon Rank test was used to estimate the effect of age and logistic regression with robust variance the effect of mammographic density on recall rates. The first 726 screening studies took place in 415 women. Following 86 of these recall occurred, comprising 140 additional investigations. 28 of the cases were resolved without further MRI, and 18 women had more than 2 additional tests. Neither age nor mammographic density was associated with recall. MRI had a recall of rate of 10.19%, and mammography 4.00%. The two techniques largely recalled different cases and 10 cases only (11.62% of those recalled) were abnormal by both tests. The two together had a recall rate of 11.85%. Recall rates varied widely between centres of the study. Breast MRI in asymptomatic high-risk women age 35-49 years largely recalls different women from mammography. The combined figure of approximately 12% may be acceptable for screening and will be useful for planning similar studies.  相似文献

Molybdenum is nitrided by a 100-Hz pulsed DC glow discharge technique for various time durations and fill gas pressures to study the effects on the surface properties of molybdenum. X-ray diffractometry (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and atomic force microscopy (AFM) are used for the structural and morphological analysis of the nitrided layers. Vickers' microhardness tester is utilized to investigate surface microhardness. Phase analysis shows the formation of more molybdenum nitride molecules for longer nitriding durations at fill gas pressures of 2 mbar and 3 mbar (1 bar = 105 Pa). A considerable increase in surface microhardness (approximately by a factor of 2) is observed for longer duration (10 h) and 2-mbar pressure. Longer duration (10 h) and 2-mbar fill gas pressure favors the formation of homogeneous, smooth, hard layers by the incorporation of more nitrogen.  相似文献

The up-conversion luminescence of the ZBLAN fluoride glass Er(0.5):ZBLAN, when excited by a 1520 nm semiconductor laser, is studied in this paper. The absorption and common-fluorescence spectra are also measured in order to understand the up-conversion clearly. It is found that there are seven strong up-conversion luminescence lines (406.97^m, 410.42 nm), (521.97^m, 527.56 nm), (542.38^m, 549.27 nm), (654.27^m, 665.70 nm), 801.57^m nm, 819.46 nm, and 840.00 nm, which can be recognized as the fluorescence transitions of ({}^2G^4F^2H)_{9/2}→{}^4I_{15/2},{}^2H_{11/2}→ {}^4I_{15/2},{}^4S_{3/2}→{}^4I_{15/2},{}^4F_{9/2}→{}^4I_{15/2}, {}^4I_{9/2}→ {}^4I_{15/2}, ({}^2G^4F^2H)_{9/2}→{}^4I_{9/2}, and {}^4S_{3/2}→{}^4I_{13/2} respectively. Meanwhile, the small up-conversion fluorescence lines 379.20 nm, 453.10 nm and 490.60 nm are the transitions of {}^4G_{11/2}→{}^4I_{15/2},{}^4F_{5/2}→{}^4I_{15/2} and {}^4F_{7/2}→ {}^4I_{15/2} respectively. It is interesting that the slopes of log F-logP curves, the double-logarithmic variation of up-conversion luminescence intensity F with laser power P, are different from each other for these observed up-conversion luminescence, this being valuable for the volumetric display. Comprehensive discussions find that the {}^4G_{11/2}→{}^4I_{15/2}, (^2G^4F^2H)_{9/2}→{}^4I_{15/2}, (^2H_{11/2}→{}^4I_{15/2},{}^4S_{3/2}→{}^4I_{15/2},{}^4F_{9/2}→ {}^4I_{15/2}), and {}^4I_{9/2}→{}^4I_{15/2} up-conversion luminescences are five-photon, four-photon, three-photon, and two-photon up-conversion luminescences respectively. It is found also that the absorption from ground-state {}^4I_{15/2} level to {}^4I_{13/2} level is very large, which is beneficial to the sequential energy transfer up-conversion to occur.  相似文献

The influence of the inhomogeneity of target heating on the plasma behavior when irradiating a target by a superhighpower short laser pulse (with intensity above 1016 W/cm2 and duration of about 10-12 s) was studied on the basis of twodimensional numerical calculations. In the presence of the specklelike structures in the laserradiation flux, the plasma parameters and, in particular, the temperature were shown to be essentially different from estimates based on the mean intensity within the focusing spot.  相似文献
