The cycloaddition of diazo compounds derived from α-tocopherol, betulinic acid, ursolic acid, and Trolox methyl esters to fullerene C60 in the presence of a Pd(acac)2-PPh3-Et3Al catalytic system was performed. The reactions of the diazo compounds derived from the above-mentioned pharmacologically important compounds with fullerene C60 in the presence of the Pd(acac)2-PPh3-Et3Al system (1: 2: 4) afford predominantly the previously inaccessible pyrazolinofullerenes. A change in the component ratio of the Pd(acac)2-PPh3-Et3Al catalyst from 1: 2: 4 to 1: 4: 4 favors the formation of methanofullerenes exclusively.  相似文献

A rotating-bomb calorimeter was used to measure the energy of combustion of crystalline fullerene chloride C60Cl30 · 0.09Cl2, Δc U° = (?24474 ± 135 kJ/mol). The result was used to calculate the standard enthalpy of formation, Δf H° (C60Cl30, cr) = 135 ± 135 kJ/mol, and the C-Cl bond energy, 195 ± 5 kJ/mol. The C-X (X = F, F, Cl, and Br) bond energies in fullerene C60 derivatives and other organic compounds are compared.  相似文献

The reactivity of fullerene C60 toward peroxy radicals RO2 · was tested by the chemiluminescence method. A comparison of the influence of C60 and known inhibitors on the kinetics of liquid-phase chemiluminescence (CL) during oxidation of a series of hydrocarbons (ethyl-benzene, cyclohexane, n-dodecane, and oleic acid) shows that the fullerene does not react with the RO2 · radicals. A sharp decrease in the CL intensity observed upon C60 addition is caused by the quenching of CL emitters with fullerene but not by inhibition of hydrocarbon oxidation. __________ Published in Russian in Izvestiya Akademii Nauk. Self-assembling of fullerene C60 into (C60) n clusters in aromatic solvents was studied. The role of the π-π interactions and dispersion forces in the (C60) n cluster formation in these media is demonstrated using the data on the solubility of fullerene C60 in these solvents and their ionization potentials and also spectral characteristics of fullerene C60 in the range of 326–340 nm in different solvents.  相似文献

Systematic study of chlorination of fullerene C60 with inorganic chlorides SbCl5, VCl4, MoCl5, and KICl4 was carried out. Higher chlorofullerenes, viz., T h -C60Cl24, C60Cl28, C 2-C60Cl30, and D 3d -C60Cl30, can be prepared depending on the temperature and time of chlorination. The molecular and crystal structures of C60Cl24⋅VOCl3, C60Cl30⋅2CS2, and C60Cl30O1.22 were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Fullerenes C60Cl28 and C 2-C60Cl30 were shown to be only kinetically stable, whereas D 3d -C60Cl30 is a thermodynamically stable product. Transformations of less chlorinated fullerenes into more chlorinated products are accompanied by substantial changes in the addition patterns. Published in Russian in Izvestiya Akademii Nauk. The equilibrium geometric parameters and normal vibration frequencies of the C60H2, C60H18, and C60H60 molecules were determined using density functional theory at the B3LYP/6-31G* level. The results were used to calculate the thermodynamic properties of the substances in the ideal gas state. The heat capacity of crystalline hydrofullerenes was modeled and the enthalpies of their sublimation estimated. The thermodynamic parameters of the hydrogenation of fullerene C60 were analyzed.  相似文献

Based on regular star-shaped PSs differing in the structure of the branching center (one or two covalently bound fullerene C60 molecules) and in the number of branchings (6 and 12), homogeneous gas-separation membranes have been produced. The transport behavior of the membranes with respect to several gases, such as H2, He2, N2, CO, CO2, and CH4, has been studied by mass spectrometry. It has been found that the membranes prepared from six-arm PSs are characterized by a smaller density of macromolecular packing than the membranes obtained from 12-arm PCs and, consequently, they possess higher gas permeability. The starshaped PSs demonstrate a higher selectivity factor for separation of the O2/N2 gas pair compared to the corresponding characteristics of the linear PSs. The analysis of gas-separation characteristics by means of the Reitlinger-Robeson diagrams demonstrates that the transport behavior of star-shaped PSs qualitatively surpasses similar parameters of the known polymers in the separation of the CO/N2 gas pair.  相似文献

An efficient catalytic method of the cycloaddition to C60 fullerene of the diazoacetates, containing substituents of diverse structures in ester groups, in the presence of a Pd-based three-component catalyst was developed. An influence of nature and the structure of substituent in the ester group on the activity of diazoacetates in the reaction with C60 was studied. The absorption feasibility of benzene molecule in the C24, Si@C24, Si-doped C24, and C20 fullerenes has been studied based on calculated electronic properties of these fullerenes using Density functional Theory (DFT). It is found that energy of benzene adsorption on C24, Si@C24, and Si-doped C24 fullerenes were in range of –2.93 and –51.19 kJ/mol with little changes in their electronic structure. The results demonstrated that the C24, Si@C24, and Si-doped C24 fullerenes cannot be employed as a chemical adsorbent or sensor for benzene. Silicon doping cannot significantly modify both the electronic properties and benzene adsorption energy of C24 fullerene. On the other hand, C20 fullerene exhibits a high sensitivity, so that the energy gap of the fullerene is changed almost 89.19% after the adsorption process. We concluded that the C20 fullerene can be employed as a reliable material for benzene detection.  相似文献

The electrochemical oxidation and reduction of a series of complexes of platinum-group metals (Os, Ir, and Rh) with fullerene C60 with common formula C60[ML n ] (ML n is the metal and the metal-bonded ligands) in the tetrahydrofuran solution are studied using the method of cyclic voltammetry. The effect of metal and ligands on the variations in the redox properties of complexes and stability of anions, which are formed in the reduction, is considered. It is shown that all complexes studied are reduced more difficultly than free fullerene, and the reduced forms of metallofullerenes are less stable as compared with free fullerene anions.  相似文献

Fluorocyclohexa adducts C60(C4F8) n were synthesized by high-temperature reaction of fullerene C60 with 1,2-C2F4I2 or 1,4-C4F8I2 in sealed tubes. Their separation by HPLC allowed us to determine molecular structure (X-ray diffraction) of four new compounds C6(C4F8) n (n = 2, 3, 4, and 6). Structures of isomers C60(C4F8) n were discussed in terms of a concept of consecutive addition of C4F8 groups to the fullerene cage.  相似文献

(U)PBE0/cc-pVDZ method is used to study the structure of C60Cl30, C60(OH)30 molecules and Fe@C60(OH)30 endocomplex. The triplet state of the endocomplex is shown to be the lowest in energy among its four states corresponding to different spin multiplicities and positions of Fe nucleus within the fullerene cavity. This state is characterized by bonding between the iron atom and one of two benzenoid cycles of the carbon cage, six internuclear Fe–C distances (208 pm), and 1s22s22p63s23p63d7.24s0.14p0.3 electron configuration of iron with spin population of 2.36.  相似文献

The enthalpy of combustion of crystalline fullerene fluoride C60F18 was determined in an isoperibolic calorimeter with a rotating platinized bomb, and the enthalpy of formation of the compound was calculated. The enthalpy of sublimation of C60F18 measured earlier was used to calculate the enthalpy of formation of fullerene fluoride in the gas phase and the mean enthalpy of dissociation of C-F bonds in this compound.  相似文献

Features of the oxidation of C60 and C70 fullerites were studied by infrared spectroscopy. It was shown that for C60 fullerite, the presence of toluene residue reduces the temperature at which oxidation starts. The form of the toluene (solvate or nonsolvate) is not important. A low-frequency shift in the valence C-O-C vibrations of C70 fullerene due to local steric strains was discovered.  相似文献
