Multiple solutions for fourth-order boundary value problem   总被引:4,自引:0,他引:4  
In this paper, we study the existence and multiplicity of nontrivial solutions for the fourth-order two point boundary value problems. Making use of the theory of fixed point index in cone and Leray-Schauder degree, under general conditions on nonlinearity, we prove that there exist at least six different nontrivial solutions for the fourth-order two point boundary value problems. Furthermore, if the nonlinearity is odd, we obtain that there exist at least eight different nontrivial solutions.  相似文献

For a class of monotone differential operators we show that the lowest point of the continuous spectrum of the linearization is a bifurcation point. By the method of upper and lower solutions we prove the existence of a global branch of positive solutions.  相似文献

In this paper, nonlocal symmetries of variable coefficient Ablowitz-Kaup-Newell-Segur(AKNS) system are studied for the first time. In order to construct some new analytic solutions, a new variable is introduced, which can transform nonlocal symmetries into Lie point symmetries. Furthermore, using the Lie point symmetries of closed system, we give out two types of symmetry reductions and some analytic solutions. For some interesting solutions, such as interaction solutions among solitons and other complicated waves, we give corresponding images to describe their dynamic behavior.  相似文献

In this paper, we establish some new generalizations of Darbo’s fixed point theorem for multivalued mappings. Moreover, we prove the existence of solutions for a class of integral equations by Darbo’s fixed point theorem and the existence of solutions for a class of differential inclusions using a generalization of Darbo’s fixed point theorem.  相似文献

We consider quasilinear elliptic equations where the diffusion at each point depends on all the values of the solution in a neighborhood of this point. The size of this neighborhood is parameterized by some non-negative number which represents the range of nonlocal interactions. For fixed values of the parameter, the issue of the existence and local uniqueness of the solution is addressed. In a radial symmetric setting, we give pointwise estimates of the solutions and prove the existence of multiple solutions. Regarding bifurcation theory, we show that many local branches of solutions may exist while, among them, only one is global and has no bifurcation point.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider the existence of traveling wave solutions in delayed higher dimensional lattice differential systems with partial monotonicity. By relaxing the monotonicity of the upper solutions and allowing it greater than positive equilibrium point, we establish the existence of traveling wave solutions by means of Schauder's fixed point theorem. And then, we apply our results to delayed competition‐cooperation systems on higher dimensional lattices.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider the existence of time periodic solutions of the 3-D viscous primitive equations of large-scale dry atmosphere. We used the Galerkin method. Firstly, by Leray-Schauder fixed point theorem, we prove the existence of approximate solutions of the primitive equations, then we show the convergence of the approximate solutions, and we also get the uniqueness to the primitive equations.  相似文献

The main purpose of this paper is to present the existence results of solutions and positive solutions of nonlinear high-order fractional boundary value problems with integral boundary condition. By using the Banach fixed point theorem and the Krasnosel’skii fixed point theorem, we obtain the existence and uniqueness of real solution. By the Guo–Krasnosel’skii fixed point theorem on the cone, we obtain a desired result for guaranteeing the existence of positive solution. This is the second part of a work aimed at establishing that for solutions to Cauchy–Dirichlet problems involving general non-linear systems of parabolic type, almost every parabolic boundary point is a Hölder continuity point for the spatial gradient of solutions. Here we establish higher fractional differentiability of solutions up to the boundary. Based on the necessary and sufficient condition for regular boundary points from the first part of Bögelein et al. (in this issue)[7] we achieve dimension estimates for the boundary singular set and eventually the almost everywhere regularity of solutions at the boundary.  相似文献

In this paper we study the confluence of two regular singular points of the hypergeometric equation into an irregular one. We study the consequence of the divergence of solutions at the irregular singular point for the unfolded system. Our study covers a full neighborhood of the origin in the confluence parameter space. In particular, we show how the divergence of solutions at the irregular singular point explains the presence of logarithmic terms in the solutions at a regular singular point of the unfolded system. For this study, we consider values of the confluence parameter taken in two sectors covering the complex plane. In each sector, we study the monodromy of a first integral of a Riccati system related to the hypergeometric equation. Then, on each sector, we include the presence of logarithmic terms into a continuous phenomenon and view a Stokes multiplier related to a 1-summable solution as the limit of an obstruction that prevents a pair of eigenvectors of the monodromy operators, one at each singular point, to coincide.  相似文献

In this paper, we first establish some user‐friendly versions of fixed‐point theorems for the sum of two operators in the setting that the involved operators are not necessarily compact and continuous. These fixed‐point results generalize, encompass, and complement a number of previously known generalizations of the Krasnoselskii fixed‐point theorem. Next, with these obtained fixed‐point results, we study the existence of solutions for a class of transport equations, the existence of global solutions for a class of Darboux problems on the first quadrant, the existence and/or uniqueness of periodic solutions for a class of difference equations, and the existence and/or uniqueness of solutions for some kind of perturbed Volterra‐type integral equations. For a second-order elliptic system with a singular point, we obtain integral representations and inversion formulas for the case in which the singular point is an interior point of the domain. In the integral representations, we clearly extract the singular part of the solutions, which permits one to study the asymptotics of the solutions as r → 0.
