Cauchy singular integral operators are characterized as operators in a weighted L2-space. The integral operator arises from a singular integral equation with variable coefficients. An appropriate weight function associated with the singular integral operator is constructed, and the set of polynomials orthogonal with respect to this weight function is defined. The action of the operator on polynomial sets is studied, and the definition of the operator is extended to a weighted L2-space. In this space, the operator is shown to be bounded, and, in some cases, isometric. Formulas are developed for the composition of the singular integral operator and its one sided inverse. 相似文献

We study periodic point perturbations of the Shrödinger operator with a uniform magnetic field on the Lobachevsky plane. We prove that the spectrum gaps of the perturbed operator are labeled by the elements of the K0 group of aC * algebra associated with the operator. We prove a vanishing theorem for certain isotypical components of the kernel of the S1-equivariant Dirac operator with coefficients in an admissible Clifford module. The method is based on changing the metric by a conformal (generally unbounded) factor and studying the effect of this change on the Dirac operator and its kernel. In the cases relevant to S1-actions we find that the kernel of the new operator is naturally isomorphic to the kernel of the original operator. 相似文献

A strongly inhomogeneous diffusion operatorwith drift depending on a small parameter ? is studied in the space L 2(? n ). The strong inhomogeneity consists in that the coefficients of the operator are ?-periodic and, in addition, the drift vector is of the order of ? ?1. As ? → 0, approximations in the operator L 2-norm of order ? and ? 2 are constructed for the resolvent of the operator. We prove that two dual operator algebras are weak∗ Morita equivalent in the sense of [D.P. Blecher, U. Kashyap, Morita equivalence of dual operator algebras, J. Pure Appl. Algebra 212 (2008) 2401-2412] if and only if they have equivalent categories of dual operator modules via completely contractive functors which are also weak∗-continuous on appropriate morphism spaces. Moreover, in a fashion similar to the operator algebra case, we characterize such functors as the module normal Haagerup tensor product with an appropriate weak∗ Morita equivalence bimodule. We also develop the theory of the W∗-dilation, which connects the non-selfadjoint dual operator algebra with the W∗-algebraic framework. In the case of weak∗ Morita equivalence, this W∗-dilation is a W∗-module over a von Neumann algebra generated by the non-selfadjoint dual operator algebra. The theory of the W∗-dilation is a key part of the proof of our main theorem. 相似文献

The purpose of this paper is to develop a theory of the Besov‐Morrey spaces and the Triebel‐Lizorkin‐Morrey spaces on domains in R n.
