稀土正铁氧体YFeO3呈正交钙钛矿结构,其晶体和纳米晶材料在电极材料、 传感器和光催化领域具有重要的应用价值.用平面波赝势方法,采用广义梯度近似、改进的Perdew-Burke-Emzerhof交换-关联势、 实空间超软赝势计算方案,研究了YFeO3晶体的几何结构、电子结构和光学性质. 计算得到的晶格参量与报道的实验结果一致.通过对能带结构、态密度、介电函数、吸收系数和光电导率的计算和分析, 确定YFeO3是直接能隙半导体,能隙Eg约为2.22 eV,阐明了YFeO3晶体和纳米晶具有较好的可见光催化性能.  相似文献

采用基于第一性原理的赝势和平面波方法计算了新型闪烁晶体基质材料 LuI3的结构特性和电子特性. 计算结果表明: -4.4 eV附近有一个宽度约为0.2 eV的窄带, 主要是Lu的4f态; -3.55–0 eV之间的态组成了价带, 这主要是I的5p态; 2.44–12.35 eV之间的态组成了LuI3的导带, 这主要来源于Lu的5d态, 其中还含有少量的Lu的6s态的贡献. 在-3.46 eV处, Lu的6s态、4f态和I的5p态同时出现了尖峰, 说明相邻的Lu原子的6s态, 4f态与I原子的5p态之间的相互作用强, 出现了杂化峰. 估算出LuI3晶体的理论光产额约为100000 ph/MeV, 主要得益于LuI3合适的带隙和能带结构. 关键词: 3')" href="#">LuI3 第一性原理 电子结构  相似文献

The effects of La and Sb doping on the electronic structure and optical properties of SrTiO 3 are investigated by first-principles calculation of the plane wave ultra-soft pseudo-potential based on density functional theory. The calculated results reveal that corner-shared TiO 6 octahedra dominate the main electronic properties of SrTiO 3 , and its structural stability can be improved by La doping. The La 3+ ion fully acts as an electron donor in Sr 0.875 La 0.125 TiO 3 and the Fermi level shifts into the conduction bands (CBs) after La doping. As for SrSb 0.125 Ti 0.875 O 3 , there is a distortion near the bottom of the CBs for SrSb 0.125 Ti 0.875 O 3 after Sb doping and an incipient localization of some of the doped electrons trapped in the Ti site, making it impossible to describe the evolution of the density of states (DOS) within the rigid band model. At the same time, the DOSs of the two electron-doped systems shift towards low energies and the optical band gaps are broadened by about 0.4 and 0.6 eV for Sr0.875La0.125TiO3 and SrSb0.125Ti0.875O3 , respectively. Moreover, the transmittance of SrSb0.125Ti0.875O3 is as high as 95% in most of the visible region, which is higher than that of Sr0.875La0.125TiO3 (85%). The wide band gap, the small transition probability and the weak absorption due to the low partial density of states (PDOS) of impurity in the Fermi level result in the significant optical transparency of SrSb0.125 Ti0.875 O3 .  相似文献

The structural, elastic, and electronic properties of SrZrN2 under pressure up to 100?GPa have been carried out with first-principles calculations based on density functional theory. The calculated lattice parameters at 0?GPa and 0?K by using the GGA-PW91-ultrasoft method are in good agreement with the available experimental data and other previous theoretical calculations. The pressure dependence of the elastic constants and the elastic-dependent properties of SrZrN2, such as bulk modulus B, shear modulus G, Young's modulus E, Debye temperature Θ, shear and longitudinal wave velocity VS and VL, are also successfully obtained. It is found that all elastic constants increase monotonically with pressure. When the pressure increases up to 140?GPa, the obtained elastic constants do not satisfy the mechanical stability criteria and a phase transition might has occurred. Moreover, the anisotropy of the directional-dependent Young's modulus and the linear compressibility under different pressures are analysed for the first time. Finally, the pressure dependence of the total and partial densities of states and the bonding property of SrZrN2 are also investigated.  相似文献

利用熔融快淬结合放电等离子烧结(SPS), 制备了CuxAg1-xSbTe2(x= 0---0.3)样品. 粉末X射线衍射(XRD)分析结果显示, SPS处理以前, 含Cu样品形成NaCl型结构的固溶体, 而未加入Cu的样品析出Ag2Te第二相. 根据热分析和XRD测量结果, Cu的加入能够有效抑制Ag2Te的析出, 但同时会在快淬样品中产生少量非晶相. 在温度升高到540 K左右时, 非晶相发生晶化, 形成Sb7Te亚稳相, 并最终转变成Sb2Te3稳定相. 对快淬样品进行低温SPS快速处理后, x =0.1样品为面心立方结构的单相化合物, 但是x =0.2, 0.3的样品分别析出第二相Sb7Te和Sb2Te3. 由于析出第二相, x=0.2, 0.3样品的电导率增大, Seebeck系数减小, 热导率相应升高, 综合热电性能降低. x=0.1单相样品的功率因子与文献报道的AgSbTe2化合物相当. 元素替代的合金化效应 增强了Cu0.1Ag0.9SbTe2化合物的声子散射, 有效降低了样品的热导率. 因此, 单相样品Cu0.1Ag0.9SbTe2表现出较佳的热电性能, 在620 K时热电优值达到1.  相似文献

采用基于第一性原理密度泛函理论的平面波赝势方法,对0.5NdAlO3-0.5CaTiO3晶体进行结构优化,并对其能带结构,态密度和光学性质进行了理论计算.结构优化后晶格参数与实验数据相符合,误差小于1%;能带计算结果表明0.5NdAlO3-0.5CaTiO3为间接带隙,带隙值为0.52eV;费米面附近的能带由Nd-4f,O-2p,Nd-4p,Al-3p,Ti-4d层的电子态密度确定.同时也计算了该结构的介电函数,反射率和复折射率等光学性质.  相似文献

Abstract

By applying ab initio calculation within density functional theory (DFT), we study the structure parameters, electronic band structure, elastic coefficients, polycrystalline elastic properties, anisotropy factors and Debye temperature of ferroelectric and paraelectric phases of LiTaO3 within the generalised gradient approximation at ambient pressure. The atomic structure in both phases is fully relaxed and the lattice constant, angle and atomic positions are well consistent with experimental values. The computed single-crystal elastic coefficients indicate that mechanical stability of LiTaO3 in both phases is confirmed using the generalised Born criteria. The shear, bulk and Young’s modulus, Poisson’s ratio, and Vickers hardness were computed according to theoretical elastic constants by Voight–Reuss–Hill method. Several anisotropy factors and indexes are computed to illustrate mechanical anisotropy. Both phases are shown to be weakly anisotropic. The Debye temperature is estimated using the longitude and transverse elastic wave velocity of the ideal polycrystalline LiTaO3 aggregates. We have found that LiTaO3 in both phases has an indirect energy band gap. The differences in the electronic structure and density of states for both phases are quite small. Our results indicate that the mechanical and bonding properties of both phases are very similar. The obtained results were compared with the available experimental and theoretical values.  相似文献

以闪锌矿相的ZnS 2×2×1超原胞为基础,通过将其中的Zn用Cr按1∶1配比进行了a和b两种不同位置的替换构造出了三元化合物ZnCrS2 理论模型,然后采用基于密度泛函理论(DFT)的平面波超软赝势(PWPP)方法分别计算了两种不同模型ZnCrS2的电子结构和磁学性质. 结果表明,两种模型的ZnCrS2的铁磁态都比反铁磁态更稳定,均是半金属铁磁体(半金属能隙分别为0.9631 eV和0.7556 eV), 其中a位替换不但具有较大的半金属 关键词: 2')" href="#">ZnCrS2 电子结构 半金属铁磁性 第一性原理  相似文献

The electronic energy-band structure, density of states (DOS), and optical properties of AgBO3 in the paraelectric cubic phase have been studied by using density functional theory within the local density approximation for exchange-correlation for the first time. The band structure shows a band gap of 1.533 eV (AgNbO3)and 1.537 eV (AgTaO3)at (M-⌈)point in the Brillouin zone. The optical spectra of AgBO3 in the photon energy range up to 30 eV are investigated under the scissor approximation. The real and imaginary parts of the dielectric function and — thus the optical constants such as reflectivity, absorption coefficient, electron energy-loss function, refractive index, and extinction coefficient — are calculated. We have also made some comparisons with related experimental and theoretical data that is available.   相似文献

A comparative study of electronic structure and magnetic properties of SrCrO3 and SrMoO3 has been carried out using FPLAPW method with density-functional theory. The calculated results suggest that both compounds are nonmagnetic (NM) metal in cubic structures at room temperature, and they exhibit very similar band structure and electronic properties except more extend Mo 4d orbitals than Cr 3d electronic states. However, the electronic structure and magnetic properties exhibit remarkable differences between them in the low temperature phases. SrCrO3 is with a C-AFM ground state with magnetic moment of 1.18μB/Cr in the tetragonal structure, while SrMoO3 is with a NM ground state in the orthorhombic structure. It is assumed that the extend 4d orbitals may be the reason which results in NM solution at low temperature phase of SrMoO3.  相似文献

采用基于密度泛函理论的第一性原理方法,在局域密度近似(LDA)下研究了厚度为0.626~2.711nm (100)面BaHfO3薄膜的电子结构、光学和弹性性质.电子结构和光学性质计算结果表明:以BaO为表面层原子的BaHfO3纳米薄膜均为直接带隙半导体材料,带隙随薄膜厚度减小而逐渐减小,表现出明显的量子尺寸效应,此时薄膜的光学吸收边发生红移,吸收带出现窄化现象.以HfO2作为表面层原子的BaHfO3薄膜则属于间接带隙半导体材料,且带隙随薄膜厚度减小而微弱增加.弹性性质计算结果表明:体弹模量、剪切模量和杨氏模量等表征材料硬度的力学参数均随BaHfO3纳米薄膜厚度减小而显著减小,呈现尺寸效应.电荷密度分布分析揭示了薄膜厚度改变了BaHfO3纳米薄膜的价健特性,这是材料硬度改变的内在原因.该研究结果为BaHfO3纳米薄膜材料的设计与应用提供了理论依据.  相似文献

采用第一性原理研究了CdS的六方纤锌矿(WZ), 立方闪锌矿(ZB) 和岩盐矿(RS)相在高压条件下的相稳定性、 相变点、电子结构以及弹性性能.WZ相与RS 相可以在相应的压强范围内稳定存在, 而ZB相不能稳定存在.压强大于2.18 GPa时, WZ相向RS相发生金属化相变.WZ相中S原子电负性大于Cd, 且电负性差值小于1.7, CdS的WZ相为共价晶体.高压作用下, S原子半径被强烈压缩, 有效核电荷增加, 对层外电子吸引能力提高, 电负性急剧增大, 导致S与Cd的电负性差值大于1.7, CdS的RS相以离子晶体存在. WZ相的C44随压强增加呈下降趋势, 导致WZ相力学不稳定, 并向RS相转变.当压强大于2.18 GPa时, RS相C11, C12随压强增加而增大, 并且C44保持稳定, 说明RS相具有良好的高压稳定性与力学性能. 关键词: 第一性原理 相变 电子结构 弹性性质  相似文献

The elastic, dynamical, and electronic properties of cubic LiHg and Li3Hg were investigated based on first-principles methods. The elastic constants and phonon spectral calculations confirmed the mechanical and dynamical stability of the materials at ambient conditions. The obtained elastic moduli of LiHg are slightly larger than those of Li3Hg. Both LiHg and Li3Hg are ductile materials with strong shear anisotropy as metals with mixed ionic, covalent, and metallic interactions. The calculated Debye temperatures are 223.5 K and 230.6 K for LiHg and Li3Hg, respectively. The calculated phonon frequency of the T2g mode in Li3Hg is 326.8 cm−1. The p states from the Hg and Li atoms dominate the electronic structure near the Fermi level. These findings may inspire further experimental and theoretical study on the potential technical and engineering applications of similar alkali metal-based intermetallic compounds.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

The effects of biaxial strain on the electronic structure and the elastic and optical properties of monolayer CaI2 were studied using first-principles calculations. The two-dimensional (2D) equation of state for monolayer CaI2 as fit in a relative area of 80–120% is more accurate. The band gap can be tuned under strain and reached a maximum at a tensile strain of 4%. Under compressive strains, the absorption spectrum showed a significant red shift at higher strains. The static reflectance and static refractive index decreased in the strain range of ?10% to 10%.  相似文献

To better clarify the physical properties for Al3RE precipitates, first-principles calculations are performed to investigate the vibrational, anisotropic elastic and thermodynamic properties of Al3Er and Al3Yb. The calculated results agree well with available experimental and theoretical ones. The vibrational properties indicate that Al3Er and Al3Yb will keep their dynamical stabilities with L12 structure up to 100 GPa. The elastic constants are satisfied with mechanical stability criteria up to the external pressure of 100 GPa. The mechanical anisotropy is predicted by anisotropic constants AG, AU, AZ and 3D curved surface of Young’s modulus. The calculated results show that both Al3Er and Al3Yb are isotropic at zero pressure and obviously anisotropic under high pressure. Further, we systematically investigate the thermodynamic properties and provide the relationships between thermal parameters and pressure. Finally, the pressure-dependent behaviours of density of states, Mulliken charge and bond length are discussed.  相似文献

The structural, elastic, electronic and thermodynamic properties of the rhombohedral topological insulator Bi2Se3 are investigated by the generalized gradient approximation (GGA) with the Wu–Cohen (WC) exchange-correlation functional. The calculated lattice constants agree well with the available experimental and other theoretical data. Our GGA calculations indicate that Bi2Se3 is a 3D topological insulator with a band gap of 0.287 eV, which are well consistent with the experimental value of 0.3 eV. The pressure dependence of the elastic constants Cij, bulk modulus B, shear modulus G, Young’s modulus E, and Poisson’s ratio σ of Bi2Se3 are also obtained successfully. The bulk modulus obtained from elastic constants is 53.5 GPa, which agrees well with the experimental value of 53 GPa. We also investigate the shear sound velocity VS, longitudinal sound velocity VL, and Debye temperature ΘE from our elastic constants, as well as the thermodynamic properties from quasi-harmonic Debye model. We obtain that the heat capacity Cv and the thermal expansion coefficient α at 0 GPa and 300 K are 120.78 J mol?1 K?1 and 4.70 × 10?5 K?1, respectively.  相似文献
