The problem of formulating a relativistic theory of state-vector reduction is considered. A stochastic process is associated in a subjectively invariant way with each element of the proper orthochronous Poincaré group. In this paper, we present a collision model to stroboscopically simulate the dynamics of information in dissipative systems. In particular, an all-optical scheme is proposed to investigate the information scrambling of bosonic systems with Gaussian environmental states. Varying the states of environments, in the presence of dissipation, transient tripartite mutual information of system modes may show negative value, signaling the appearance of information scrambling. We also find that dynamical indivisibility based non-Markovianity plays dual roles in affecting the dynamics of information.  相似文献

Coupling a quantum system to a bosonic environment always give rise to inelastic processes, which reduce the coherency of the system. We measure energy-dependent rates for inelastic tunneling processes in a fully controllable two-level system of a double quantum dot. The emission and absorption rates are well reproduced by Einstein's coefficients, which relate to the spontaneous emission rate. The inelastic tunneling rate can be comparable to the elastic tunneling rate if the boson occupation number becomes large. In the specific semiconductor double dot, the energy dependence of the inelastic rate suggests that acoustic phonons are coupled to the double dot piezoelectrically.  相似文献

A tilted Liouville-master equation in Hilbert space is presented for Markovian open quantum systems. We demonstrate that it is the unraveling of the tilted quantum master equation. We propose and analyze a robust quantum state transfer protocol through a scalable quantum data bus that consists of a network of controlled dissipative modules. In particular, we first demonstrate the ability to achieve perfect state transfer between two distinct quantum sites which are adiabatically coupled to the data bus in non-dissipative situation. We then consider the role of dissipation in adiabatic quantum state transfer via using Born–Markov master equation in the standard Lindblad form. Numerical simulation shows that the dissipation effect on the quality of transmission can be suppressed by engineering the network couplings of data bus properly.  相似文献

The stationary state of an open quantum system has infinitely many representations as an ensemble of pure states. We argue that the most natural ensemble is the most robust physically realizable ensemble. Robustness is quantified by the survival probability. In the paper ({\em Phys. Rev.} 2006 A {\bf 74} 062320) Agrawal {\em et al}. have introduced a kind of W-class state which can be used for the quantum teleportation of single-particle state via a three-particle von Neumann measurement, and they thought that the state could not be used to teleport an unknown state by making two-particle and one-particle measurements. Here we reconsider the features of the W-class state and the quantum teleportation process via the W-class state. We show that, by introducing a unitary operation, the quantum teleportation can be achieved deterministically by making two-particle and one-particle measurements. In addition, our protocol is extended to the process of teleporting two-particle state and splitting information.  相似文献

本文采用最大似然估计和贝叶斯分析两种方法,对双数态输入型马赫-曾德尔干涉仪中的量子相位估计进行研究.通过对干涉仪输出端粒子数差和宇称进行理论计算和数值模拟,发现采用贝叶斯分析和粒子数差测量的组合,可以在全相位空间实现最优测量,即待估相位精度达到由量子克拉美罗下界所给定的测量极限,同时,利用贝叶斯分析进行相位估计所需样本数较最大似然估计更少.在通过宇称测量进行相位估计的研究中,发现无法利用贝叶斯分析实现相位估计,但可采用最大似然估计进行研究.借助蒙特卡洛数值模拟分析,我们验证了理论计算结果,即相位估计精度会随待估相位θ0的变化而改变,将其与粒子数差测量结果对比,进一步确认了粒子数差测量方案的优越性.  相似文献

In Li and Luo(2007 Phys. Rev. A 76 032327), the inequality(1/2)T≥ Q was identified as a fundamental postulate for a consistent theory of quantum versus classical correlations for arbitrary measures of total T and quantum Q correlations in bipartite quantum states. Besides, Hayden et al(2006 Commun. Math. Phys. 265 95) have conjectured that, in some conditions within systems endowed with infinite-dimensional Hilbert spaces, quantum correlations may dominate not only half of total correlations but total correlations itself. Here, in a two-mode Gaussian state,quantifying T and Q respectively by the quantum mutual information I~G and the entanglement of formation(EoF) ε_F~G, we verify that ε_(F,R)~G,is always less than(1/2) I_R~G when I~G and ε_F~G are defined via the Rényi-2 entropy. While via the von Neumann entropy, ε_(F,V)~G,may even dominate I_V~G itself,which partly consolidates the Hayden conjecture, and partly, provides strong evidence hinting that the origin of this counterintuitive behavior should intrinsically be related to the von Neumann entropy by which the EoF ε_(F,V)~G,is defined, rather than related to the conceptual definition of the EoF ε_F. The obtained results show that—in the special case of mixed two-mode Gaussian states—quantum entanglement can be faithfully quantified by the Gaussian Rényi-2 EoF ε_(F,R)~G,.  相似文献

We study the dynamics of two electron spins in coupled quantum dots (CQDs) monitored by a quantum point contact (QPC) detector. Their quantum state can be measured by embedding the QPC in an LC circuit. We derive the Bloch-type rate equations of the reduced density matrix for CQDs. Special attention is paid to the numerical results for the weak measurement condintion under a strong Coulomb interaction. It is shown that the evolution of QPC current always follows that of electron occupation in the right dot. In addition, we find that the output voltage of the circuit can reflect the evolution of QPC current when the circuit and QPC are approximately equal in frequency. In particular, the wave shape of the output voltage can be improved by adjusting the circuit resonance frequency and bandwidth.  相似文献

Stochastic webs were discovered, first by Arnold for multi-dimensional Hamiltonian systems, and later by Chernikov et al. for the low-dimensional case. Generated by weak perturbations, they consist of thread-like regions of chaotic dynamics in phase space. Their importance is that, in principle, they enable transport from small energies to high energies. In this introductory review, we concentrate on low-dimensional stochastic webs and on their applications to quantum transport in semiconductor superlattices subject to electric and magnetic fields. We also describe a recently-suggested modification of the stochastic web to enhance chaotic transport through it and we discuss its possible applications to superlattices.  相似文献

There are some disadvantages to Nikolopoulos et al.'s protocol [Nikolopoulos G M, Petrosyan D and Lambropoulos P 2004 Europhys. Lett. 65 297] where a quantum dot system is used to realize quantum communication. To overcome these disadvantages, we propose a protocol that uses a quantum dot array to construct a four-qubit spin chain to realize perfect quantum state transfer (PQST). First, we calculate the interaction relation for PQST in the spin chain. Second, we review the interaction between the quantum dots in the Heitler-London approach. Third, we present a detailed program for designing the proper parameters of a quantum dot array to realize PQST.  相似文献

We investigate the implications of quantum Darwinism in a composite quantum system with interacting constituents exhibiting a decoherence-free subspace. We consider a two-qubit system coupled to an N-qubit environment via a dephasing interaction. For excitation preserving interactions between the system qubits, an analytical expression for the dynamics is obtained. It demonstrates that part of the system Hilbert space redundantly proliferates its information to the environment, while the remaining subspace is decoupled and preserves clear non-classical signatures. For measurements performed on the system, we establish that a non-zero quantum discord is shared between the composite system and the environment, thus violating the conditions of strong Darwinism. However, due to the asymmetry of quantum discord, the information shared with the environment is completely classical for measurements performed on the environment. Our results imply a dichotomy between objectivity and classicality that emerges when considering composite systems.  相似文献

<正>This paper proposes a scheme for probabilistic joint remote preparation of an arbitrary high-dimensional equatorial quantum state by using high-dimensional single-particle orthogonal projective measurement and appropriate unitary operation.As a special case,a scheme of joint remote preparation of a single-qutrit equatorial state is presented in detail.The scheme is also generalized to the multi-party high-dimensional case.It shows that,only if when all the senders collaborate with each other,the receiver can reconstruct the original state with a certain probability.  相似文献
