We demonstrate how the Moutard transformation of two-dimensional Schrödinger operators acts on the Faddeev eigenfunctions on the zero-energy level and present some explicitly computed examples of such eigenfunctions for smooth rapidly decaying potentials of operators with a nontrivial kernel and for deformed potentials corresponding to blowup solutions of the Novikov-Veselov equation.  相似文献

We consider the Schrödinger–Poisson system in the two-dimensional whole space. A new formula of solutions to the Poisson equation is used. Although the potential term solving the Poisson equation may grow at the spatial infinity, we show the unique existence of a time-local solution for data in the Sobolev spaces by an analysis of a quantum hydrodynamical system via a modified Madelung transform. This method has been used to justify the WKB approximation of solutions to several classes of nonlinear Schrödinger equation in the semiclassical limit.  相似文献

We consider the two-dimensional stationary Schrödinger and Dirac equations in the case of radial symmetry. A radially symmetric potential simulates the tip of a scanning tunneling microscope. We construct semiclassical asymptotic forms for generalized eigenfunctions and study the local density of states that corresponds to the microscope measurements. We show that in the case of the Dirac equation, the tip distorts the measured density of states for all energies.  相似文献

Cubic Schrödinger equations with small initial data (or small nonlinearity) and their spectral semi-discretizations in space are analyzed. It is shown that along both the solution of the nonlinear Schrödinger equation as well as the solution of the semi-discretized equation the actions of the linear Schrödinger equation are approximately conserved over long times. This also allows us to show approximate conservation of energy and momentum along the solution of the semi-discretized equation over long times. These results are obtained by analyzing a modulated Fourier expansion in time. They are valid in arbitrary spatial dimension.  相似文献

We use the Zakharov—Manakov δ-dressing method to construct new classes of exact solutions with functional parameters of the hyperbolic and elliptic versions of the Nizhnik—Veselov—Novikov equation with constant asymptotic values at infinity. We show that the constructed solutions contain classes of multisoliton solutions, which at a fixed time are exact potentials of the perturbed telegraph equation (the perturbed string equation) and the two-dimensional stationary Schrödinger equation. We interpret the stationary states of a microparticle in soliton-type potential fields physically in accordance with the constructed exact wave functions for the two-dimensional stationary Schrödinger equation.  相似文献

An iterative method is proposed to determine the eigenfunctions of a system of two nonlinear Schrödinger equations governing the interaction of two femtosecond pulses in a medium with quadratic and cubic nonlinearity. The method produces soliton solutions of a new form for a wide range of nonlinearity coefficients corresponding to the first and second eigenvalues. A specially chosen initial approximation is required to determine the third and higher eigenfunctions.  相似文献

We consider the existence and stability of real-valued, spatially antiperiodic standing wave solutions to a family of nonlinear Schrödinger equations with fractional dispersion and power-law nonlinearity. As a key technical result, we demonstrate that the associated linearized operator is nondegenerate when restricted to antiperiodic perturbations, i.e. that its kernel is generated by the translational and gauge symmetries of the governing evolution equation. In the process, we provide a characterization of the antiperiodic ground state eigenfunctions for linear fractional Schrödinger operators on R with real-valued, periodic potentials as well as a Sturm–Liouville type oscillation theory for the higher antiperiodic eigenfunctions.  相似文献

The two-dimensional cubic nonlinear Schrödinger equation is used to describe the propagation of an intense laser beam through a medium with Kerr nonlinearity. The coupled two-dimensional cubic nonlinear Schrödinger equations are used to describe the interaction of electromagnetic waves with different polarizations in nonlinear optics. Mathematically, they are fundamental nonlinear partial differential equations of elliptic type. In this paper, we solve the above equations by imposing a quadratic condition on the related argument functions and using their symmetry transformations. More complete families of exact solutions of such type are obtained. Many of them are the periodic, quasi-periodic, aperiodic and singular solutions that may have practical significance.  相似文献

The article examines the class of models of nonlinear optical systems with two-dimensional feedback described by a nonlocal diffusion equation and a Schrödinger equation. Rate of convergence bounds are obtained for the Galerkin scheme with an eigenelement basis. In this Note, we derive new Carleman inequalities for the evolution Schrödinger equation under a weak pseudoconvexity condition, which allows us to use weights with a linear spatial dependence. As a result, less restrictive boundary or internal observation regions may be used to obtain the stability for the inverse problem consisting in retrieving a stationary potential in the Schrödinger equation from a single boundary or internal measurement, respectively. We consider a nonlocal Darboux transformation of the two-dimensional stationary Schrödinger equation and establish its relation to the Moutard transformation. We show that the Moutard transformation is a special case of the nonlocal Darboux transformation and obtain new examples of solvable two-dimensional stationary Schrödinger operators with smooth potentials as an application of the nonlocal Darboux transformation.  相似文献

The Schrödinger operator in ?d with analytic potential that has a nondegenerate minimum (a well) at the origin is considered. Under the additional Diophantine condition on the frequencies, the full asymptotic expansions (as Planck's constant h tends to zero) of a set of eigenfunctions (Ansatz with Hermite polynomials) and of eigenvalues with given quantum numbers (n ∈ ?d, |n|=0,1,2...), located at the bottom of the potential well are constructed in a neighborhood of the origin, which is independent of h. The asymptotics obtained can be prolonged onto a larger domain by using the ray method. A method of approximately describing the zero-sets of eigenfunctions (and of their intersections) is discussed. Perturbed nonlinear Schrödinger (NLS) equation with the power-law nonlinearity in a nano optical fiber is studied with the help of its equivalent two-dimensional planar dynamic system and Hamiltonian. Via the bifurcation theory and qualitative theory, equilibrium points for the two-dimensional planar dynamic system are obtained. With the external perturbation taken into consideration, chaotic motions for the perturbed NLS equation with the power-law nonlinearity are derived based on the equilibrium points.  相似文献

This note concerns the nodal sets of eigenfunctions of semiclassical Schrödinger operators acting on compact, smooth, Riemannian manifolds, with no boundary. In the case of real analytic surfaces, we obtain sharp upper bounds for the number of intersections of the zero sets of Schrödinger eigenfunctions with a fixed curve that lies inside the classically forbidden region.  相似文献

I consider random Schrödinger operators with exponentially decaying single site potential, which is allowed to change sign. For this model, I prove Anderson localization both in the sense of exponentially decaying eigenfunctions and dynamical localization. Furthermore, the results imply a Wegner-type estimate strong enough to use in classical forms of multi-scale analysis.  相似文献

The nonlinear Schrödinger equation is of tremendous interest in both theory and applications. Various regimes of pulse propagation in optical fibers are modeled by some form of the nonlinear Schrödinger equation. In this paper we introduce sequential and parallel split-step Fourier methods for numerical simulations of the nonlinear Schrödinger-type equations. The parallel methods are implemented on the Origin 2000 multiprocessor computer. Our numerical experiments have shown that these methods give accurate results and considerable speedup.  相似文献
