In this paper, we investigate the projective synchronization between two different time-delayed chaotic systems. A suitable controller is chosen using the active control approach. We relax some limitations of previous work, where projective synchronization of different chaotic systems can be achieved only in finite dimensional chaotic systems, so we can achieve projective synchronization of different chaotic systems in infinite dimensional chaotic systems. Based on the Lyapunov stability theory, we suggest a generic method to achieve the projective synchronization between two different time-delayed chaotic systems. The validity of the proposed method is demonstrated and verified by observing the projective synchronization between two well-known time-delayed chaotic systems; the Ikeda system and Mackey–Glass system. Numerical simulations fully support the analytical approach.  相似文献

A new kind of generalized heterochronous synchronization phenomenon is reported. Different kinds of generalized synchronous states (including generalized anticipated, isochronous and lag projective synchronization) coexist among different state variables between two unidirectionally coupled time-delayed chaotic systems. The analytical conditions for generalized heterochronous synchronization are obtained. We also find that the synchronization conditions are independent of the delay times in the original time-delayed system. The theoretical results are well confirmed by the numerical simulations and electronic circuit experiments.  相似文献

An adaptive approximation design for the fault compensation (FC) control is addressed for a class of nonlinear systems with unknown multiple time-delayed nonlinear faults. The magnitude and occurrence time of the multiple faults with unknown time-varying delays are unknown. The function approximation technique using neural networks is employed to adaptively approximate the unknown nonlinear effects and changes in model dynamics due to the time-delayed faults. We design an adaptive memoryless FC control system with a prescribed performance bound to compensate the faults and to guarantee the transient performance of the tracking error from unexpected changes of system dynamics. The adaptive laws for neural networks and the bound of residual approximation errors are derived using the Lyapunov stability theorem, which are used for proving that the tracking error is preserved within the prescribed performance bound regardless of unknown multiple time-delayed nonlinear faults. Simulation examples are presented for illustrating the effectiveness of the proposed control methodology  相似文献

When two different chaotic oscillators are coupled, generalized synchronization can occur. It may imply a very complicated relation between the states of drive and response systems. We propose a method that can be used to detect and characterize the generalized synchronization in modulated time-delayed systems. Using Krasovskii–Lyapunov theory, sufficient condition for generalized synchronization is derived. The proposed technique has been applied to synchronize prototype and Ikeda models by numerical simulation.  相似文献

The modified projective and modified function projective synchronization of a class of chaotic real nonlinear systems, or a class of chaotic complex nonlinear systems, have been widely reported in the previous studies, respectively. In the paper, the modified projective and modified function projective synchronization between a class of chaotic real nonlinear systems and a class of chaotic complex nonlinear systems are first investigated. Based on the Lyapunov stability theory, the drive real system and response complex system can be synchronized up to the desired scaling constants and functions, respectively. The corresponding numerical simulations are performed to verify and demonstrate the validity and feasibility of the presented idea.  相似文献

We study the synchronization of chaos and hyperchaos in first-order time-delayed systems that are coupled using the nonlinear time-delay excitatory coupling. We assign two characteristic time delays: the system delay that is same for both the systems, and the coupling delay associated with the coupling path. We show that depending upon the relative values of the system delay and the coupling delay the coupled systems show anticipatory, complete, and lag synchronization. We derive a general stability condition for all the synchronization processes using the Krasovskii–Lyapunov theory. Numerical simulations are carried out to corroborate the analytical results. We compute a quantitative measure to ensure the occurrence of different synchronization phenomena. Finally, we set up an experiment in electronic circuit to verify all the synchronization scenario. It is observed that the experimental results are in good agreement with our analytical results and numerical observations.  相似文献

Generalized projective lag synchronization (GPLS) is characterized by the output of the drive system proportionally lagging behind the output of the response system. In this paper, GPLS between different hyperchaotic systems with uncertain parameters, i.e., GPLS between Lorenz and Lü hyperchaotic systems, and between Lorenz?CStenflo and Lorenz hyperchaotic systems, is studied by applying an adaptive control method. Based on Lyapunov stability theory, the adaptive controllers and corresponding parameter update rules are constructed to make the states of two diverse hyperchaotic systems asymptotically synchronize up to the desired scaling matrix and to estimate the uncertain parameters. Some numerical simulations are provided to show the effectiveness of our results.  相似文献

The existence of projective-dual-anticipating, projective-dual, and projective-dual-lag synchronization in a coupled time-delayed systems with modulated delay time is investigated via nonlinear observer design approach. Transition from projective-dual-anticipating to projective-dual synchronization and from projective-dual to projective-dual-lag synchronization as a function of variable coupling delay τ p (t) is discussed. Using Krasovskii–Lyapunov stability theory, a general condition for projective-dual synchronization is derived. Numerical simulations on the chaotic Ikeda and Mackey–Glass systems are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the theoretical results.  相似文献

In this paper, projective synchronization of drive-response coupled dynamical network with delayed system nodes and coupling time-varying delay is investigated via impulsive control, where the scaling factors are different from each other. Different controllers are designed to achieve the projective synchronization: only impulsive control is used when the scaling factors need extra limitation, while an extra controller, that is, a simple linear feedback controller, is added when the scaling factors don??t need extra limitation. Based on the stability analysis of the impulsive functional differential equation, the sufficient conditions for achieving projective synchronization of such coupled network are established, and an estimate of the upper bound of impulsive intervals ensuring global exponential synchronization of drive-response coupled dynamical network is also given. Numerical examples on the time-delay Lorenz chaotic systems are presented finally to illustrate the effectiveness and advantage of the proposed synchronization criteria.  相似文献

The effect of time-delayed feedback and fast harmonic excitation (FHE) on stationary periodic vibration and quasi-periodic responses in a parametric and self-excited weakly nonlinear oscillator is analyzed in this paper. The method of direct partition of motion and two stages of multiple scales analysis are conducted to obtain analytical approximation for quasi-periodic oscillation envelopes and frequency-locking area near primary resonance. A parameter study shows that, in the absence or the presence of high-frequency excitation, time-delayed feedback may reduce significantly the amplitude and the envelopes of quasi-periodic oscillations leading to a quasi synchronization of the response over the whole frequency range around the resonance. The results presented for the parameters tested agree well with results obtained by numerical simulation.  相似文献

Generalized synchronization in nonlinear fractional order systems occurs whether the states of one system by means of a functional mapping are identical to states of another. This mapping can be obtained if there exists a fractional differential primitive element whose elements are fractional derivatives which generate a differential transcendence basis. In this contribution we investigate the fractional generalized synchronization (FGS) problem for a class of strictly different nonlinear fractional order systems and we consider the master-slave synchronization scheme. As well as, of a natural manner we construct a fractional generalized observability canonical form, we introduce a fractional algebraic observability property, and we design a fractional dynamical controller able to achieve synchronization. These particular forms of FGS are illustrated with numerical results.  相似文献

This paper solves the problem of robust synchronization of nonlinear chaotic gyrostat systems in a given finite time. The parameters of both master and slave chaotic gyrostat systems are assumed to be unknown in advance. In addition, the gyrostat systems are disturbed by unknown model uncertainties and external disturbances. Suitable update laws are proposed to estimate the unknown parameters. Based on the finite-time control idea and update laws, appropriate control laws are designed to ensure the stabilization of the closed-loop system in finite time. The precise value of the convergence time is given. A numerical simulation demonstrates the applicability and efficiency of the proposed finite-time synchronization strategy.  相似文献

In this paper, an adaptive fuzzy output feedback control approach is developed for a class of SISO uncertain nonlinear strict-feedback systems. The considered nonlinear systems contain unknown nonlinear functions, unknown time-varying delays and unmeasured states. The fuzzy logic systems are first used to approximate the unknown nonlinear functions, and then a high-gain filter is designed to estimate the unmeasured states. Combining the backstepping recursive design technique and adaptive fuzzy control design, an adaptive fuzzy output feedback backstepping control method is developed. It is proved that the proposed adaptive fuzzy control approach can guarantee that all the signals in the closed-loop system are semi-globally uniformly ultimately bounded (SGUUB) and both the observer error and tracking error converge to a small neighborhood of the origin. Two key advantages of our scheme are that (i) the high-gain filter is designed to estimate unmeasured states of time-delay nonlinear system, and (ii) the virtual control gains are functions. A simulation is included to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.  相似文献

This paper proposes the chaos control and the modified projective synchronization methods for unknown heavy symmetric chaotic gyroscope systems via Gaussian radial basis adaptive backstepping control. Because of the nonlinear terms of the gyroscope system, the system exhibits chaotic motions. Occasionally, the extreme sensitivity to initial states in a system operating in chaotic mode can be very destructive to the system because of unpredictable behavior. In order to improve the performance of a dynamic system or avoid the chaotic phenomena, it is necessary to control a chaotic system with a regular or periodic motion beneficial for working with a particular condition. As chaotic signals are usually broadband and noise-like, synchronized chaotic systems can be used as cipher generators for secure communication. Obviously, the importance of obtaining these objectives is specified when the dynamics of gyroscope system are unknown. In this paper, using the neural backstepping control technique, control laws are established which guarantees the chaos control and the modified projective synchronization of unknown chaotic gyroscope system. In the neural backstepping control, Gaussian radial basis functions are utilized to on-line estimate the system dynamic functions. Also, the adaptation laws of the on-line estimators are derived in the sense of Lyapunov function. Thus, the unknown chaotic gyroscope system can be guaranteed to be asymptotically stable. Also, the control objectives have been achieved.  相似文献

In this article, a novel synchronization scheme, modified function projective lag synchronization (MFPLS) in two different dimensional chaotic systems with parameter perturbations, is proposed. In the proposed method, the states of two nonidentical chaotic systems with different orders are asymptotically lag synchronized up to a desired scaling function matrix by means of reduced order and increased order, respectively. Furthermore, based on the reality situation, the parameter perturbations are involved, which are assumed to appear in both drive and response systems. With the Lyapunov stability theory, an adaptive controller is designed to achieve MFPLS. Theoretical proof and numerical simulations demonstrate the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed scheme.  相似文献

In this paper we deal with the control of chaotic systems. Knowing that a chaotic attractor contains a myriad of unstable periodic orbits (UPO’s), the aim of our work is to stabilize some of the UPO’s embedded in the chaotic attractor and which have interesting characteristics. First, using the input-to-state linearization method in conjunction with a time-delayed state feedback, we design a control signal that can achieve stabilization. Next, an adaptive time-delayed state feedback is proposed which shows at once efficiency and simplicity and circumvents the construction complexity of the first controller. Finally, we propose a reduced order sliding mode observer to estimate the necessary states for the design of an adaptive time delayed state feedback controller. This last controller has one main advantage, it in fact achieves UPO stabilization without using the system model. The efficacy of the proposed methods is illustrated by numerical simulations onto Chua’s system.  相似文献

In this paper, an adaptive synchronization scheme is proposed for a class of nonlinear systems. The design utilizes an adaptive observer, which is quite useful in establishing a transmitter–receiver kind of synchronization scheme. The proposed approach is based on contraction theory and provides a very simple way of establishing exponential convergence of observer states to actual system states. The class of systems addressed here has uncertain parameters, associated with the part of system dynamics that is a function of measurable output only. The explicit conditions for the stability of the observer are derived in terms of gain selection of the observer. Initially, the case without uncertainty is considered and then the results are extended to the case with uncertainty in parameters of the system. An application of the proposed approach is presented to synchronize the family of N chaotic systems which are coupled through the output variable only. The numerical results are presented for designing an adaptive observer for the chaotic Chua system to verify the efficacy of the proposed approach. Explicit bounds on observer gains are derived by exploiting the properties of the chaotic attractor exhibited by Chua’s system. Convergence of uncertain parameters is also analyzed for this case and numerical simulations depict the convergence of parameter estimates to their true value.  相似文献

This paper addresses stochastic synchronization issue of the four-dimensional energy resource system with stochastic noises based on partial states. By using the adaptive control approach, in the case of only parts of states are available, several sufficient conditions are derived to ensure synchronization of the nonlinear energy resource system under noise perturbation. Furthermore, robust synchronization in the presence of parameter mismatches is also considered. To be pointed out that, the important feature of the proposed method is that synchronization could be achieved through the control of only parts of available variables even with stochastic noises. Finally, a numerical example with simulation results is provided to illustrate and verify the effectiveness of the obtained results.  相似文献
