We consider a system of the form , in an open domain of , with Dirichlet conditions at the boundary (if any). We suppose that f and g are power-type non-linearities, having superlinear and subcritical growth at infinity. We prove the existence of a unique solution of the following Neumann problem , u > 0, in (a, b) × (0, T), u(x, 0) = u 0(x) ≥ 0 in (a, b), and , where if m < 0, if m = 0, and m≤ 0, , and the case −1 < m ≤ 0, , for some constant p > 1 − m. We also obtain a similar result in higher dimensions. As a corollary we will give a new proof of a result of A. Rodriguez and J.L. Vazquez on the existence of infinitely many finite mass solutions of the above equation in for any −1 < m ≤ 0. We also obtain the exact decay rate of the solution at infinity.  相似文献

We prove that this problem has infinitely many solutions with slow decay at infinity. We study asymptotics as of solutions to a linear, parabolic system of equations with time-dependent coefficients in , where is a bounded domain. On we prescribe the homogeneous Dirichlet boundary condition. For large values of t, the coefficients in the elliptic part are close to time-independent coefficients in an integral sense which is described by a certain function . This includes in particular situations when the coefficients may take different values on different parts of and the boundaries between them can move with t but stabilize as . The main result is an asymptotic representation of solutions for large t. A consequence is that for , the solution behaves asymptotically as the solution to a parabolic system with time-independent coefficients.  相似文献

This work uses the energetic formulation of rate-independent systems that is based on the stored-energy functionals and the dissipation distance . For sequences and we address the question under which conditions the limits q of solutions satisfy a suitable limit problem with limit functionals and , which are the corresponding Γ-limits. We derive a sufficient condition, called conditional upper semi-continuity of the stable sets, which is essential to guarantee that q solves the limit problem. In particular, this condition holds if certain joint recovery sequences exist. Moreover, we show that time-incremental minimization problems can be used to approximate the solutions. A first example involves the numerical approximation of functionals using finite-element spaces. A second example shows that the stop and the play operator converge if the yield sets converge in the sense of Mosco. The third example deals with a problem developing microstructure in the limit k → ∞, which in the limit can be described by an effective macroscopic model. In this paper we study how to find solutions to the parabolic Ginzburg–Landau equation that as have as interface a given curve that evolves under curve shortening flow. Moreover, for compact embedded curves we find a uniform profile for the solution up the extinction time of the curve. In this paper, we study existence of nontrivial solutions to the elliptic equation
and to the elliptic system

We study the existence and uniqueness of solutions of the convective–diffusive elliptic equation
posed in a bounded domain , with pure Neumann boundary conditions

It is shown that an elliptic scattering operator A on a compact manifold with boundary with operator valued coefficients in the morphisms of a bundle of Banach spaces of class () and Pisier’s property (α) has maximal regularity (up to a spectral shift), provided that the spectrum of the principal symbol of A on the scattering cotangent bundle avoids the right half-plane. This is accomplished by representing the resolvent in terms of pseudodifferential operators with -bounded symbols, yielding by an iteration argument the -boundedness of λ(A−λ)−1 in for some . To this end, elements of a symbolic and operator calculus of pseudodifferential operators with -bounded symbols are introduced. The significance of this method for proving maximal regularity results for partial differential operators is underscored by considering also a more elementary situation of anisotropic elliptic operators on with operator valued coefficients.  相似文献

We consider solutions of affine stochastic functional differential equations on . The drift of these equations is specified by a functional defined on a general function space which is only described axiomatically. The solutions are reformulated as stochastic processes in the space . By representing such a process in the bidual space of we establish that the transition functions of this process form a generalized Gaussian Mehler semigroup on . This way the process is characterized completely on since it is Markovian. Moreover we derive a sufficient and necessary condition on the underlying space such that the transition functions are even an Ornstein-Uhlenbeck semigroup. We exploit this result to associate a Cauchy problem in the function space to the stochastic functional differential equation.   相似文献
