Mononuclear and dinuclear copper(II) complexes with thiophenecarboxylic acid, [Cu(3‐TCA)2(2,2′‐bpy)] ( 1 ), [Cu(3‐Me‐2‐TCA)2(H2O)(2,2′‐bpy)] ( 2 ), [Cu(5‐Me‐2‐TCA)2(H2O)(2,2′‐bpy)] ( 3 ) and [Cu2(2,5‐TDCA)(DMF)2(H2O)2(2,2′‐bpy)2](ClO4)2 ( 4 ) (where 3‐TCA = 3‐thiophenecarboxylic acid; 3‐Me‐2‐TCA = 3‐methyl‐2‐thiophenecarboxylic acid; 5‐Me‐2‐TCA = 5‐methyl‐2‐thiophenecarboxylic acid; 2,5‐TDCA = thiophene‐2,5‐dicarboxylic acid; 2,2′‐bpy = 2,2′‐bipyridyl; DMF = N,N‐dimethylformamide), were synthesized. Compounds 1 – 4 were extensively characterized using both analytical and spectroscopic methods. Additionally, the solid‐state structures of 1 and 4 were unambiguously established from single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction studies. The hexacoordinated Cu(II) centre in 1 (CuO4N2) is a distorted octahedral geometry whereas the pentacoodinated 4 (CuO3N2) has distorted square pyramidal geometry. Compounds 1 and 4 exhibit intermolecular hydrogen bonding which leads to the formation of two‐ and three‐dimensional supramolecular architectures, respectively. Spectrophotometric and computational investigations suggest that these compounds bind with DNA in minor groove binding such that Kb = 4.9 × 105 M?1 and Ksv = 3.4 × 105 M?1, and binding score of ?5.26 kcal mol?1. The binding affinity of these complexes to calf thymus DNA is in the order 2 > 3 > 4 > 1 . Methyl‐substituted thiophene ring increases the DNA binding affinity whereas unsubstituted thiophene ring DNA binding rate is reduced. The methyl group on the thiophene ring would sterically hinder π–π stacking of the ring with DNA base pairs, and subsequently they are involved in hydrophobic interaction with the DNA surface rather than partial intercalative interaction. Compounds 1 – 4 show pronounced activity against B16 mouse melanoma skin cancer cell lines as measured by MTT assay yielding IC50 values in the micromolar concentration range. The compounds could prove to be efficient anti‐cancer agents, since at a concentration as low as 2.1 μg ml?1 they exerted a significant cytotoxic effect in cancer cells whereas cell viability was not affected in normal cells.  相似文献

Abstract

A novel manganese compound, [Mn2(μ1,3-6-CH3-2-NH2C6H4COO)2(bipy)4](ClO4)2 (bipy = 2,2′-bipyridine), was synthesized and used as a catalyst precursor in the oxidation of alkenes and primary alcohols to corresponding aldehydes, ketones, and acids. The six-coordinate compound has a binuclear structure in which two Mn(II) ions adopt a syn-anti μ1,3-bridging mode with two carboxylate groups and two chelated bipy ligands. The compound exhibits good activity in the oxidation of cyclohexene to 2-cyclohexene-1-one as the major product (93% conv. in 3 h, 79.3% selectivity) and of cinnamyl alcohol to cinnamaldehyde as the major product with 46% selectivity (100% conv. in 1.5 h) with tert-butyl hydroperoxide (TBHP) in acetonitrile at 70 °C. Furthermore, the catalase-like activity of the compound was studied in different solvents (acetonitrile, methanol, Tris-HCl buffer; TOF = 29,910 h?1 in Tris-HCl buffer).  相似文献

Os(II) hydridocarbonyl complexes of coumarinyl azoimidazoles, [Osh(CO)(PPh3)2(CZ‐4R‐R′)]0/+ ( 3 , 4 ) (CZ‐R‐H = 2‐(coumarinyl‐6‐azo)‐4‐substituted imidazole or 1‐alkyl‐2‐(coumarinyl‐6‐azo)‐4‐substituted imidazole), were characterized from spectroscopic data and the single‐crystal X‐ray data for one of the complexes, [Osh(CO)(PPh3)2(CZ‐4‐Ph)] ( 3c ) (CZ‐4‐Ph = 2‐(coumarinyl‐6‐azo)‐4‐phenylimidazolate), confirmed the structure. The complexes show higher emission (quantum yield ? = 0.0163–0.16) and longer lifetime (τ = 1.4–10.3 ns) than free ligands (? = 0.0012–0.0185 and τ = 0.685–1.306 ns). Cyclic voltammetry shows quasi‐reversible metal oxidation at 0.67–0.94 V for [Os(III)/Os(II)] and 1.21–1.36 V for [Os(IV)/Os(III)] and subsequent azo reductions (?0.68 to ?0.95 V for [? N?N? ]/[? N N? ]? and irreversible < ?1.2 V for [? N N? ]?/[? N? N? ]2?) of the chelated coumarinyl azoimidazole. The complexes are photostable and show better photovoltaic power conversion efficiency than free ligands. Also, the complexes were used as catalysts for the oxidation of primary/secondary alcohols to aldehydes/ketones using oxidizing agents like N‐methylmorpholine N‐oxide, t‐BuOOH and H2O2. Density functional theory computation was carried out from the optimized structures and the data obtained were used to interpret the electronic and photovoltaic properties. Mono(nucleobase) complexes of the general composition cis‐[PtCl2(NH3)L] with L=1‐methylcytosine, 1‐MeC ( 1 a ) and L=1‐ethyl‐5‐methylcytosine, as well as trans‐[PtX2(NH3)(1‐MeC)] with X=I ( 5 a ) and X=Br ( 5 b ) have been isolated and were characterized by X‐ray crystallography. The Pt coordination occurs through the N3 atom of the cytosine in all cases. The diaqua complexes of compounds 1 a and 5 a , cis‐[Pt(H2O)2(NH3)(1‐MeC)]2+ and trans‐[Pt(H2O)2(NH3)(1‐MeC)]2+, display a rich chemistry in aqueous solution, which is dominated by extensive condensation reactions leading to μ‐OH‐ and μ‐(1‐MeC?N3,N4)‐bridged species and ready oxidation of Pt to mixed‐valence state complexes as well as diplatinum(III) compounds, one of which was characterized by X‐ray crystallography: h,t‐[{Pt(NH3)2(OH)(1‐MeC?N3,N4)}2](NO3)2 ? 2 [NH4](NO3) ? 2 H2O. A combination of 1H NMR spectroscopy and ESI mass spectrometry was applied to identify some of the various species present in solution and the gas phase, respectively. As it turned out, mass spectrometry did not permit an unambiguous assignment of the structures of +1 cations due to the possibilities of realizing multiple bridging patterns in isomeric species, the occurrence of different tautomers, and uncertainties regarding the Pt oxidation states. Additionally, compound 1 a was found to have selective and moderate antiproliferative activity for a human cervix cancer line (SISO) compared to six other human cancer cell lines.  相似文献

By studying the thermal condensation of melamine, we have identified three solid molecular adducts consisting of melamine C3N3(NH2)3 and melem C6N7(NH2)3 in differing molar ratios. We solved the crystal structure of 2 C3N3(NH2)3?C6N7(NH2)3 ( 1 ; C2/c; a=21.526(4), b=12.595(3), c=6.8483(14) Å; β=94.80(3)°; Z=4; V=1850.2(7) Å3), C3N3(NH2)3?C6N7(NH2)3 ( 2 ; Pcca; a=7.3280(2), b=7.4842(2), c=24.9167(8) Å; Z=4; V=1366.54(7) Å3), and C3N3(NH2)3?3 C6N7(NH2)3 ( 3 ; C2/c; a=14.370(3), b=25.809(5), c=8.1560(16) Å; β=94.62(3)°; Z=4; V=3015.0(10) Å3) by using single‐crystal XRD. All syntheses were carried out in sealed glass ampoules starting from melamine. By variation of the reaction conditions in terms of temperature, pressure, and the presence of ammonia‐binding metals (europium) we gained a detailed insight into the occurrence of the three adduct phases during the thermal condensation process of melamine leading to melem. A rational bulk synthesis allowed us to realize adduct phases as well as phase separation into melamine and melem under equilibrium conditions. A solid‐state NMR spectroscopic investigation of adduct 1 was conducted.  相似文献

Blue diode‐based pulse amplitude modulation (PAM) technology can be used to measure the photosynthetic electron transport rate (ETR) in a purple nonsulfur anoxygenic photobacterium, Afifella (Rhodopseudomonas) marina. Rhodopseudomonads have a reaction center light harvesting antenna complex containing an RC‐2 type bacteriochlorophyll a protein (BChl a RC‐2‐LH1) which has a blue absorption peak and variable fluorescence similar to PSII. Absorptance of cells filtered onto glass fiber disks was measured using a blue–diode‐based absorptance meter (Blue‐RAT) so that absolute ETR could be calculated from PAM experiments. Maximum quantum yield (Y) was ≈0.6, decreasing exponentially as irradiance increased. ETR vs irradiance (P vs E) curves fitted the waiting‐in‐line model (ETR = (ETRmax × E/Eopt) × exp(1 ? E/Eopt)). Maximum ETR (ETRmax) was ≈1000–2000 μmol e? mg?1 BChl a h?1. Fe2+, bisulfite and thiosulfate act as photosynthetic electron donors. Optimum irradiance was ≈100 μmol m?2 s?1 PPFD even in Afifella grown in sunlight. Quantum efficiencies (α) were ≈0.3–0.4 mol e? mol hλ?1; or ≈11.8 ± 2.9 mol e? mol hλ?1 m2 μg?1 BChl a). An underlying layer of Afifella in a constructed algal/photosynthetic bacterial mat has little effect on the measured ETR of the overlying oxyphotoautotroph (Chlorella).  相似文献

The dinuclear Cu(II) complexes [Cu2(L1)2(mb)]?ClO4 ( 1 ) and [Cu2(L2)2(mb)]?ClO4 ( 2 ) (HL1 = 2‐[(2‐diethylaminoethylimino)methyl]phenol; HL2 = 2‐[1‐(2‐diethylaminoethylimino)propyl]phenol; mb = 4‐methylbenzoate) were synthesized and characterized using X‐ray crystal structure analysis and spectroscopic methods. Complexes 1 and 2 are dinuclear with distorted square pyramidal Cu (II) geometries, where Schiff base coordinates with tridentate (N,N,O) chelating mode and mb bridges two metal centres. Optimized structures and photophysical properties of ligands and complexes were calculated using density functional theory and time‐dependent density functional theory methods using B3LYP functional with 6‐31G (d,p) and LanL2MB basis sets. Interactions of the complexes with bovine serum albumin (BSA) and human serum albumin (HSA) were studied using UV–visible absorption and fluorescence spectroscopies and the calculated values of association constants (M?1) are 1.7 × 105 ( 1 –BSA), 5.7 × 105 ( 2 –BSA), 1.6 × 105 ( 1 –HSA) and 6.9 × 105 ( 2 –HSA). Interactions of the complexes with calf thymus DNA were also investigated and the binding affinities are 1.4 × 105 and 1.6 × 105 M?1 for 1 and 2 , respectively. Both complexes catalytically oxidize 3,5‐di‐tert‐butylcatechol to 3,5‐di‐tert‐butylbenzoquinone in the presence of molecular oxygen.  相似文献

A novel hydrated cobalt tetraborate complex NH4[Co(NH3)5(H2O)][B4O5(OH)4]2·6H2O, was synthesized by the reaction of NH4‐borate aqueous with CoCl2 and its structure was determined by single crystal X‐ray diffraction. The crystal system of this complex is orthorhombic, the space group is Pnma, and the unit cell parameters are a=1.2901(2) nm, b=1.6817(3) nm, c=1.1368(2) nm, α=β=γ=90°, V=2.4742(8) nm3, and Z=4. This compound contains infinite borate layers constructed from [B4O5(OH)4]2? units via hydrogen bonds. The adjacent polyborate anion layers are further linked together with the octahedral [Co(NH3)5(H2O)]3+ groups through hydrogen bonds to form 3D framework. The groups and guest water molecules are deposited in the empty space of this framework and interact with the layers by extensive hydrogen bonds. Infrared and Raman spectra (4000–400 cm?1) of NH4[Co(NH3)5(H2O)][B4O5(OH)4]2·6H2O were recorded at room temperature and analyzed. Fundamental vibrational modes were identified and band assignments were made. The middle band observed at 575 cm?1 in Raman spectrum is the pulse vibration of [B4O5(OH)4]2?.  相似文献

A series of new Ni(II) complexes of general formula Ni{ZNO} Br ( 2a‐i ) (ZNO = phenoxy/naphthoxy‐imine with pendant N‐ and O‐donor groups) were prepared and characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, ESI‐HRMS, and by X‐ray crystallography for 2e . In the solid state, 2e features a monomeric structure with κ3 coordination of the monoanionic naphthoxy‐imine‐quinoline ligand onto the nickel center. Upon activation with MAO, both classes of nickel catalysts were able to produce selectively 1‐butene (81.5–92.1 wt%) with turnover frequencies (TOFs) varying from 3,100 to 24,300 mol(C2H4) mol (Ni)?1 h?1. Nickel precatalysts bearing phenoxy‐imine ligands were much more active than its naphthoxy analogous under the same conditions. The use of a mixture of cocatalysts (MAO/TMA or MAO/TiBA) resulted in poor activities; however the presence of TiBA in the milieu led to a significant improvement on selectivity for 1‐hexene (25.5 wt%). Under optimized conditions ([Ni] = 10 μmol, 30 °C, oligomerization time = 5 min, 20 bar ethylene, [Al]/[Ni] = 600), precatalyst 2c led to TOF = 59,900 mol(C2H4) mol(Ni)?1 h?1 and selectivity for 1‐butene of 89.5 wt%.  相似文献

The reaction of [Pt(CH2COMe)(Ph)(cod)] (cod=1,5‐cyclooctadiene) with (ArCH2NH2CH2‐C6H4COOH)+(PF6)? (Ar=4‐tBuC6H4 or 9‐anthryl) in the presence of cyclic oligoethers such as dibenzo[24]crown‐8 (DB24C8) and dicyclohexano[24]crown‐8 (DC24C8) produces {(ce)[ArCH2NH2CH2C6H4COOPt(Ph)(cod)]}+(PF6)? (ce=DB24C8 or DC24C8, Ar=4‐tBuC6H4 or 9‐anthryl) with interlocked structures. FABMS and NMR spectra of a solution of these compounds indicate that the Pt complexes with a secondary ammonium group and DB24C8 (or DC24C8) make up the axis and cyclic components, respectively. Temperature‐dependent 1H NMR spectra of a solution of {(DB24C8)[4‐tBuC6H4CH2NH2CH2‐C6H4COOPt(Ph)(cod)]}+(PF6)? ({(DB24C8)[ 4 ‐H]}+(PF6)?) show equilibration with free DB24C8 and the axis component. The addition of DB24C8 to a solution of {(DC24C8)[ 4 ‐H]}+(PF6)? causes partial exchange of the macrocyclic component of the interlocked molecules, giving a mixture of {(DC24C8)[ 4 ‐H]}+(PF6)?, {(DB24C8)[ 4 ‐H]}+(PF6)?, and free macrocyclic compounds. The reaction of 3,5‐Me2C6H3COCl with {(DB24C8)[ 4 ‐H]}+(PF6)? affords the organic rotaxane {(DB24C8)(4‐tBuC6H4CH2NH2CH2‐C6H4COOCOC6H3Me2‐3,5)}+(PF6)? through C? O bond formation between the aroyl group and the carboxylate ligand of the axis component. The addition of 2,2′‐bipyridine (bpy) to a solution of {(DB24C8)[ 4 ‐H]}+(PF6)? induces the degradation of the interlocked structure to form a complex with trigonal bipyramidal coordination, [Pt(Ph)(bpy)(cod)]+(PF6)?, whereas the reaction of bpy with [Pt(OCOC6H4Me‐4)(Ph)(cod)] produces the square‐planar complex [Pt(OCOC6H4Me‐4)(Ph)(bpy)].  相似文献

Two bidentate Schiff base ligands (HL1 = Nn‐butyl‐4‐[(E)‐2‐(((2‐aminoethyl)imino)methyl)phenol]‐1,8‐naphthalimide; and HL2 = Nn‐butyl‐4‐[(E)‐2‐(((2‐aminoethyl)imino)methyl)‐6‐methoxyphenol]‐1,8‐naphthalimide) with their metal complexes [Cu(L1)2] ( 1 ), [Zn(L1)2(Py)]2?H2O ( 2 ) and [Ni(L2)2(DMF)2] ( 3 ) have been synthesized and characterized. Single‐crystal X‐ray structure analysis reveals that complex 1 has a four‐coordinated square geometry, while complex 2 is a five‐coordinated square pyramidal structure and complex 3 is a distorted six‐coordinated octahedral structure. Cyclic voltammograms of 1 indicate an irreversible Cu2+/Cu+ couple. In vitro antioxidant activity assay demonstrates that the ligands and the two complexes 1 and 3 display high scavenging activity against hydroxyl (HO?) and superoxide (O2??) radicals. Moreover, the fluorescence properties of the ligands and complexes 1 – 3 were studied in the solid state. Metal‐mediated enhancement is observed in 2 , whereas metal‐mediated fluorescence quenching occurs with 1 and 3 .  相似文献

The mediation of electron‐transfer by oxo‐bridged dinuclear ruthenium ammine [(bpy)2(NH3)RuIII(µ‐O)RuIII(NH3)(bpy)2]4+ for the oxidation of glucose was investigated by cyclic voltammetry. These ruthenium (III) complexes exhibit appropriate redox potentials of 0.131–0.09 V vs. SCE to act as electron‐transfer mediators. The plot of anodic current vs. the glucose concentration was linear in the concentration range between 2.52×10?5 and 1.00×10?4 mol L?1. Moreover, the apparent Michaelis‐Menten kinetic (KMapp) and the catalytic (Kcat) constants were 8.757×10?6 mol L?1 and 1,956 s?1, respectively, demonstrating the efficiency of the ruthenium dinuclear oxo‐complex [(bpy)2(NH3)RuIII(µ‐O)RuIII(NH3)(bpy)2]4+ as mediator of redox electron‐transfer.  相似文献

Two new Mn(II) complexes, [Mn(C6H5COO)(H2O)(phen)2](ClO4)(CH3OH) ( 1 ) and [Mn2(μ‐C6H5COO)2(bipy)4]?2(ClO4) ( 2 ) (phen = 1,10‐phenanthroline; bipy = 2,2′‐bipyridine), were synthesized and characterized using UV–visible and infrared spectroscopies and single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction analyses. Complexes 1 and 2 have six‐coordinate octahedral geometry around the Mn(II) centre. Complex 1 is a monomer and consists of a deprotonated monodentate benzoate ligand together with two neutral bidentate amine ligands (phen) and a water molecule. Complex 2 has a dinuclear structure in which two Mn(II) ions share two carboxylate groups, adopting a two‐atom bridging mode, and two chelated bipy ligands. Both complexes catalyse the oxidation of alcohols and alkenes in a homogeneous catalytic system consisting of the Mn(II) complex and tert‐butyl hydroperoxide (TBHP) in acetonitrile. The system yields good to quantitative conversions of various alkenes and alcohols, such as styrene, ethylbenzene and cyclohexene to their corresponding ketones, and primary alcohols and 1‐octanol, 1‐heptanol, cyclohexanol, benzyl alcohols and cinnamyl alcohol to their corresponding aldehydes and carboxylic acids. Complexes 1 and 2 exhibit very high activity in the oxidation of cyclohexene to cyclohexanone (ca 80% selectivity) as the main product (ca 94% conversion in 1 h) and of cinnamyl alcohol to cinnamaldehyde (ca 64% selectivity) as the main product (ca 100% conversion in 0.5 h) with TBHP at 70°C in acetonitrile. In addition, optimum reaction conditions were also determined for benzyl alcohol with complexes 1 and 2 and TBHP. Copyright © 2016 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

Two series of organotin(IV) complexes with Sn–S bonds on the base of 2,6‐di‐tert‐butyl‐4‐mercaptophenol ( L 1 SH ) of formulae Me2Sn(L1S)2 ( 1 ); Et2Sn(L1S)2 ( 2 ); Bu2Sn(L1S)2 ( 3 ); Ph 2 Sn(L1S)2 ( 4 ); (L1)2Sn(L1S)2 ( 5 ); Me3Sn(L1S) ( 6 ); Ph3Sn(L1S) ( 7 ) (L1 = 3,5‐di‐tert‐butyl‐4‐hydroxyphenyl), together with the new ones [Me3SnCl(L2)] ( 8 ), [Me2SnCl2(L2)2] ( 9 ) ( L 2  = 2‐(N‐3,5‐di‐tert‐butyl‐4‐hydroxyphenyl)‐iminomethylphenol) were used to study their antioxidant and cytotoxic activity. Novel complexes 8 , 9 of MenSnCl4 ? n (n = 3, 2) with Schiff base were synthesized and characterized by 1H, 13C NMR, IR and elemental analysis. The crystal structures of compounds 8 and 9 were determined by X‐ray diffraction analysis. The distorted tetrahedral geometry around the Sn center in the monocrystals of 8 was revealed, the Schiff base is coordinated to the tin(IV) atom by electrostatic interaction and formation of short contact Sn–O 2.805 Å. In the case of complex 9 the distorted octahedron coordination of Sn atom is formed. The antioxidant activity of compounds as radical scavengers and reducing agents was proved spectrophotometrically in tests with stable radical DPPH, reduction of Cu2+ (CUPRAC method) and interaction with superoxide radical‐anion. Moreover, compounds have been screened for in vitro cytotoxicity on eight human cancer cell lines. A high activity against all cell lines with IC50 values 60–160 nM was determined for the triphenyltin complex 7 , while the introduction of Schiff base decreased the cytotoxicity of the complexes. The influence on mitochondrial potential and mitochondrial permeability for the compounds 8 and 9 has been studied. It is shown that studied complexes depolarize the mitochondria but don't influence the calcium‐induced mitochondrial permeability transition.  相似文献

A series of six new Zn (II) compounds, viz., [Zn(HLASA)2(Py)2] ( 1 ), [Zn(HLMASA)2(Py)2] ( 2 ), [Zn(HLMASA)2(4‐MePy)2] ( 3 ), [Zn(HLCASA)2(4‐MePy)2] ( 4 ), [Zn(HLBASA)2(Py)2] ( 5 ), [Zn(HLBASA)2(4‐MePy)2] ( 6 ) and representative Cu (II) and Cd (II) complexes, viz., [Cu(HLASA)2(Py)2(H2O)] ( 7 ) and [Cd(HLBASA)2(Py)3] ( 8 ) [(HLXASA)? = para‐substituted 5‐[(E)‐2‐(aryl)‐1‐diazenyl]‐2‐hydroxybenzoate with X = H (ASA), Me (MASA), Cl (CASA) or Br (BASA); Py = pyridine; 4‐MePy = 4‐methylpyridine] have been synthesized and characterized by spectroscopic techniques and single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction analysis. The structural characterization of the compounds revealed distorted tetrahedral ( 1 – 6 ), square‐pyramidal ( 7 ) and pentagonal‐bipyramidal ( 8 ) coordination geometries around the metal atom, in which the aryl‐substituted diazosalicylate ligands are coordinated only through the oxygen atoms of carboxylate groups, either in an anisobidentate or isobidentate mode; meanwhile, the 2‐hydroxy groups of the monoanionic ligand (HLXASA)? are involved only in intramolecular O‐H···O hydrogen bonds with the carboxylate function. In the crystal structures of 1 – 8 , the complex molecules are assembled by π‐stacking interactions giving mostly infinite 1D strands. The intermolecular binding in the solid state structures is accomplished by diverse additional non‐covalent contacts including C‐H···O, C‐H···N, C‐H···π, C‐H···Br, O···Br, Br···π and van der Waals contacts. Although the primary and secondary ligands in the Zn (II) complex series 1 – 6 carry different substituents at the periphery (X = H, Me, Cl, Br for (HLXASA)? and R = H, Me for 4‐Py‐R), five of the crystal structures were isostructural. Additionally, the antimicrobial activity of the pro‐ligands H2LXASA and their Zn (II), Cu (II) and Cd (II) compounds were studied in a comparative manner, showing high sensitivity (IZD ≥ 20) against Bacillus subtilis.  相似文献

Two one‐dimensional compounds composed of a 1:1 ratio of MnIII salen‐type complex and NiII oximato moiety with different counter anions, PF6? and BPh4?, were synthesized: [Mn(3,5‐Cl2saltmen)Ni(pao)2(phen)]PF6 ( 1 ) and [Mn(5‐Clsaltmen)Ni(pao)2(phen)]BPh4 ( 2 ), where 3,5‐Cl2saltmen2?=N,N′‐(1,1,2,2‐tetramethylethylene)bis(3,5‐dichlorosalicylideneiminate); 5‐Clsaltmen2?=N,N′‐(1,1,2,2‐tetramethylethylene)bis(5‐chlorosalicylideneiminate); pao?=pyridine‐2‐aldoximate; and phen=1,10‐phenanthroline. Single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction study was carried out for both compounds. In 1 and 2 , the chain topology is very similar forming an alternating linear chain with a [‐MnIII‐ON‐NiII‐NO‐] repeating motif (where ‐ON‐ is the oximate bridge). The use of a bulky counteranion, such as BPh4?, located between the chains in 2 rather than PF6? in 1 , successfully led to the magnetic isolation of the chains in 2 . This minimization of the interchain interactions allows the study of the intrinsic magnetic properties of the chains present in 1 and 2 . While 1 and 2 possess, as expected, very similar paramagnetic properties above 15 K, their ground state is antiferromagnetic below 9.4 K and paramagnetic down to 1.8 K, respectively. Nevertheless, both compounds exhibit a magnet‐type behavior at temperatures below 6 K. While for 2 , the observed magnetism is well explained by a Single‐Chain Magnet (SCM) behavior, the magnet properties for 1 are induced by the presence in the material of SCM building units that order antiferromagnetically. By controlling both intra‐ and interchain magnetic interactions in this new [MnIIINiII] SCM system, a remarkable AF phase with a magnet‐type behavior has been stabilized in relation with the intrinsic SCM properties of the chains present in 1 . This result suggests that the simultaneous enhancement of both intrachain (J) and interchain (J′) magnetic interactions (with keeping J ? J′), independently of the presence of AF phase might be an efficient route to design high temperature SCM‐based magnets.  相似文献

The compounds were characterized by analytical methods and various spectroscopic (infrared, magnetic, thermal, 1H, 13C NMR, electronic and ESR) tools. The structure of ANMTSC ligand was confirmed by single crystal X‐ray diffraction study. The spectral data of metal complexes indicate that the ligand acts as mononegative, bidentate coordination through imine nitrogen (N) and thiocarbonyl sulphur (S?) atoms. The proposed geometries for complexes were octahedral ( 1 – 2 ), distorted octahedral ( 3 ) and tetrahedral ( 4 – 6 ). Computational details of theoretical calculations (DFT) of complexes have been discussed. The compounds were subjected to antimicrobial, antioxidant, antidiabetic, anticancer, ROS, studies and EGFR targeting molecular docking analysis. Complex 5 has shown excellent antibacterial activity and the complexes 2 and 5 have shown good antifungal activity. The complexes 1 and 4 displayed good antioxidant property with IC50 values of 11.17 ± 1.92 μM and 10.79 ± 1.85 μM, respectively compared to standard. In addition, in vitro anticancer activity of the compounds was investigated against HeLa, MCF‐7, A549, IMR‐32 and HEK 293 cell lines. Among all the compounds, complex 4 was more effective against HeLa (IC50 = 10.28 ± 0.69 μM), MCF‐7 (IC50 = 9.80 ± 0.83 μM), A549 (IC50 = 11.08 ± 0.57 μM) and IMR‐32 (10.41 ± 0.60 μM) exhibited superior anticancer activity [IC50 = 9.80 ± 0.83 ( 4 ) and 9.91 ± 0.37 μM ( 1 )] against MCF‐7 compared with other complexes.  相似文献

The five‐coordinated ReI hydride complexes [Re(Br)(H)(NO)(PR3)2] (R=Cy 1 a , iPr 1 b ) were reacted with benzylbromide, thereby affording the 17‐electron mononuclear ReII hydride complexes [Re(Br)2(H)(NO)(PR3)2] (R=Cy 3 a , iPr 3 b ), which were characterized by EPR, cyclic voltammetry, and magnetic susceptibility measurements. In the case of dibromomethane or bromoform, the reaction of 1 afforded ReII hydrides 3 in addition to ReI carbene hydrides [Re(?CHR1)(Br)(H)(NO)(PR3)2] (R1=H 4 , Br 5 ; R=Cy a , iPr b ) in which the hydride ligand is positioned cis to the carbene ligand. For comparison, the dihydrogen ReI dibromide complexes [Re(Br)2(NO)(PR3)22‐H2)] (R=Cy 2 a , iPr 2 b ) were reacted with allyl‐ or benzylbromide, thereby affording the monophosphine ReII complex salts [R3PCH2R′][Re(Br)4(NO)(PR3)] (R′=? CH?CH2 6 , Ph 7 ). The reduction of ReII complexes has also been examined. Complex 3 a or 3 b can be reduced by zinc to afford 1 a or 1 b in high yield. Under catalytic conditions, this reaction enables homocoupling of benzylbromide (turnover frequency (TOF): 3 a 150, 3 b 134 h?1) or allylbromide (TOF: 3 a 575, 3 b 562 h?1). The reaction of 6 a and 6 b with zinc in acetonitrile affords in good yields the monophosphine ReI complexes [Re(Br)2(NO)(MeCN)2(PR3)] (R=Cy 8 a , iPr 8 b ), which showed high catalytic activity toward highly selective dehydrogenative silylation of styrenes (maximum TOF of 61 h?1). Single‐electron transfer (SET) mechanisms were proposed for all these transformations. The molecular structures of 3 a , 6 a , 6 b , 7 a , 7 b , and 8 a were established by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction studies.  相似文献
