Herein we report, a series of new benzimidazolium chlorides as N-heterocyclic carbene (NHC) ligand and their corresponding palladium(II)-NHC complexes with the general formula [PdCl2(NHC)2] were synthesized. All new compounds were characterized by 1H NMR, 13C NMR, IR spectroscopy and elemental analysis techniques. The catalytic activity of palladium(II)-NHC complexes was investigated in the direct C2- or C5-arylation of thiazoles with aryl bromides in presence of palladium(II)-NHC at 150?°C for 1?h. These complexes exhibited the good catalytic performance for the direct arylation of thiazoles. The arylation of thiazoles regioselectively produced C2- or C5-arylated thiazoles in moderate to high yields.  相似文献

A new series of metal complexes of salicyladimine ligands with Pd(II) and Co(II) have been prepared and characterized by different techniques (elemental analysis, UV-vis, FT-IR, 1H NMR spectra, magnetic susceptibility measurements). Electronic spectra and magnetic susceptibility measurements reveal square planar geometry for Pd(II) metal complex and tetrahedral geometry for Co(II) metal complex. The synthesized Pd(II) and Co(II) complexes were also tested as catalysts for the formation of cyclic organic carbonates from carbon dioxide and liquid epoxides which served as both reactant and solvent. The results showed that the [M(L3)2] (M = Pd or Co) complexes bearing 5-methyl substituent on the aryl ring are more efficient than the other Pd(II) and Co(II) metal complexes for the formation of cyclic organic carbonates from carbon dioxide. These catalysts, [Pd(L3)2] and [Co(L3)2] complexes and location (p-position of phenoxy) of electron donating methyl substituent in particular, effectively promote the of carbon dioxide activation with liquid epoxides under solvent-free homogeneous conditions. Furthermore, [Pd(L3)2] can be reused more than eight times with a minimal loss of its original catalytic activities.  相似文献

Treatment of the salicylaldimine ligands (L1H, L2H, L3H, L4H and L5H) with palladium(II) acetate in absolute ethanol gave the orthopalladation dinuclear [Pd(L1)(μ-OAc)]2, [Pd(L2)(μ-OAc)]2 and mononuclear [Pd(L3)2] with the tetradentate ligands [N, C, O] or [N, O] moiety. The ligands L1H and L2H are coordinated through the imine nitrogen and aromatic ortho carbon atoms, whereas the ligand L3H coordinated through the imine nitrogen and phenolic oxygens atoms. The Pd(II) complexes have a square-planar structure and were found to be effective catalysts for the hydrogenation of both nitrobenzene and cyclohexene. These metal complexes were also tested as catalysts in Suzuki-Miyaura coupling of aryl bromide in the presence of K2CO3. The catalytic studies showed that the introduction of different groups on the salicyl ring of the molecules effected the catalytic activity towards hydrogenation of nitrobenzene and cyclohexene in DMF at 25 and 45 °C. The Pd(II) complexes easily prepared from cheap materials could be used as versatile and efficient catalysts for different C-C coupling reactions (Suzuki-Miyaura reactions). The structure of ligands and their complexes was characterized by UV-Vis, FT-IR, 1H and 13C NMR, elemental analysis, molar conductivity, as well as by electrochemical techniques.  相似文献

Palladium‐catalysed cross‐coupling reactions are some of the most frequently used synthetic tools for the construction of new carbon–carbon bonds in organic synthesis. In the work presented, Pd(II) complex catalysts were synthesized from palladium chloride and nitrogen donor ligands as the precursors. Infrared and 1H NMR spectroscopic analyses showed that the palladium complexes were formed in the bidentate mode to the palladium centre. The resultant Pd(II) complexes were tested as catalysts for the coupling of organobismuth(III) compounds with aryl and acid halides leading to excellent yields with high turnover frequency values. The catalysts were stable under the reaction conditions and no degradation was noticed even at 150°C for one of the catalysts. The reaction proceeds via an aryl palladium complex formed by transmetallation reaction between catalyst and Ar3Bi. The whole synthetic transformation has high atom economy as all three aryl groups attached to bismuth are efficiently transferred to the electrophilic partner.  相似文献

In this work, ortho‐palladated complexes [Pd(µ‐Cl)(C6H4CH2 NRR′‐κ2‐C,N)]2 and [Pd(C6H4CH2NH2‐2‐C,N)Cl(Y)] were tested in the Suzuki–Miyaura cross‐coupling reaction. Cyclopalladated Pd(II) complexes as thermally stable catalysts can activate aryl bromides and chlorides. These complexes were active and efficient catalysts for the Suzuki–Miyaura reaction of aryl bromides and even less reactive aryl chlorides. The cross‐coupled products of a variety of aryl bromides and aryl chloride with phenylboronic acid in methanol as solvent at 60 °C were produced in excellent yields. Novel acyclic Pd(II)‐N‐heterocyclic carbene (NHC) metallacrown ethers 5a , 5b have been synthesized. Reaction of the imidazolium salts bearing a long polyether chain with Ag2O afforded Ag‐NHC complexes, which then reacted as carbene transfer agent with PdCl2(MeCN)2 to give the desired acyclic Pd(II)‐NHC metallacrown ether complexes 5a and 5b . The 1H NMR and 13C NMR spectra show 5a and 5b exist as mixtures of cis and trans isomers in solution. The trans isomer of 5a was characterized by X‐ray diffraction, which clearly demonstrated two pseudo‐crown ether cavities in trans‐ 5a . Pd(II)‐NHC complexes 5a and 5b have been shown to be highly effective in the Suzuki‐Miyaura reactions of a variety of aryl bromides in neat water without the need of inert gas protection.  相似文献

Schiff bases of 2‐(phenylthio)aniline, (C6H5)SC6H4N?CR (R = (o‐CH3)(C6H5), (o‐OCH3)(C6H5) or (o‐CF3)(C6H5)), and their palladium complexes (PdLCl2) were synthesized. The compounds were characterized using 1H NMR and 13C NMR spectroscopy and micro analysis. Also, electrochemical properties of the ligands and Pd(II) complexes were investigated in dimethylformamide–LiClO4 solution with cyclic and square wave voltammetry techniques. The Pd(II) complexes showed both reversible and quasi‐reversible processes in the ?1.5 to 0.3 V potential range. The synthesized Pd(II) complexes were evaluated as catalysts in Mizoroki–Heck and Suzuki–Miyaura cross‐coupling reactions. Copyright © 2015 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

In this study, the synthesis, spectroscopic, catalytic, and electrochemical properties of salicylaldimine Schiff-base ligands (Ln) and their dinuclear Pd(II) complexes for L1 and L2 ligands with mononuclear Pd(II) complexes for L3 and L4 ligands were investigated. The ligands and their mono- or dinuclear Pd(II) complexes were characterized by FT-IR, UV-Vis, 1H NMR and elemental analysis, as well as through magnetic susceptibility and spectroelectrochemical techniques. The catalytic studies showed that the introduction of tert butyl groups on the salicyl ring of the molecules increased the catalytic activity towards hydrogenation of nitrobenzene and cyclohexene in DMF at 25 and 45 °C. It was also observed that the steric hindered mono- and dinuclear Pd(II) complexes were thermally stable complexes and were not sensitive to air or the moisture. The complexes were easily prepared from cheap materials that could be used as versatile and efficient catalysts for different C-C coupling reactions (Suzuki-Miyaura reactions).  相似文献

An efficient method for the preparation of various monosubstituted arylallenes, disubstituted allenes and alkenylallenes via palladium-catalyzed coupling of allenylstannanes with aryl iodides or alkenyl iodides is described. The coupling reaction was carried out in the presence of Pd(PPh3)4 and LiCl using DMF as solvent. The possible role of LiCl in this coupling process is discussed based on the 119Sn NMR studies.  相似文献

Twelve OCO bisacetamide ligands 4aa-4dc were synthesized after condensation of isophenylenediamines 1a-1d and anhydride/acyl chlorides. The corresponding Pd(II)–OCO–H(5aa-5ac), Pd(II)–OCO–Me(5ba-5bc), Pd(II)–OCO–OMe(5ca-5?cc), Pd(II)–OCO–NO2(5da-5dc) pincer complexes were prepared via C-H activation of precursors and Pd(OAc)2, and characterized by IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR and elemental analysis. The α-arylation of ketones and aryl bromides catalyzed by 5 under low catalyst loadings (0.1?mol%) show that 5da exhibits the highest catalytic activity, resulting in a 98% isolated yield.  相似文献

The complexes PdII(qcq)(OAc) and PtII(qcq)Cl have been synthesized using environmentally benign synthesized ligands and characterized by elemental analyses: Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, UV–visible spectroscopy, 1H NMR spectroscopy, and X-ray diffraction. The catalytic activity of the complex was assessed, in different media, for the Mizoroki–Heck coupling reaction for typical aryl halides and terminal olefins under aerobic conditions. Since the base and the solvent were found to influence the efficiency of the reaction, reaction conditions, temperature, time, and the amount of K3PO4 and a mixture of H2O/PEG, were optimized. We found, for the Mizoroki–Heck reaction coupling less reactive aryl chloride derivatives with olefins, promising activity for palladium catalysts. The electrochemical behavior of Hqcq and the Pd(II) complex was investigated by cyclic voltammetry and irreversible PdII/I reductions were observed. Hqcq and the Pd(II) and Pt(II) complexes were also screened for their in vitro antibacterial activity. They showed promising antibacterial activity comparable to that of the antibiotic penicillin.  相似文献

Well‐defined and air‐stable PEPPSI (Pyridine Enhanced Precatalyst Preparation Stabilization and Initiation) themed palladium bis‐N‐heterocyclic carbene complexes have been developed for the domino Sonogashira coupling/cyclization reaction of 2‐iodophenol with a variety of terminal alkynes and C‐H bond arylation of benzothiazole with aryl iodides. The PEPPSI themed palladium complexes, 2a and 2b were synthesized in good yields from the reaction of corresponding imidazolium salts with PdCl2 and K2CO3 in pyridine. The new air‐stable palladium‐NHC complexes were characterized by NMR spectroscopy, X‐ray crystallography, elemental analysis, and mass spectroscopy studies. The PEPPSI themed palladium(II) bis‐N‐heterocyclic carbene complexes 2a and 2b exhibited excellent catalytic activities for domino Sonogashira coupling/cyclization reaction of 2‐iodophenol with terminal alkynes yielding benzofuran derivatives. In addition, the palladium complexes, 2a and 2b successfully catalyzed the direct C‐H bond arylation of benzothiazole with aryl iodides as coupling partners in presence of CuI as co‐catalyst.  相似文献

Negishi cross-coupling reaction of organozinc compounds as nucleophiles with aryl halides has drawn immense focus for C−C bond formation reactions. In comparison to the well-established library of Pd complexes, the C−C cross-coupling of this particular approach is largely primitive with nickel-complexes. Herein, we describe the syntheses of Ni(II) complexes, [(MeBICAAC)2NiX2] (X=Cl ( 1 ), Br ( 2 ), and I ( 3 )) by employing the bicyclic (alkyl)(amino)carbene (MeBICAAC) ligand. The reduction of complexes 1 – 3 using KC8 afforded the two coordinate low valent, Ni(0) complex, [(MeBICAAC)2Ni(0)] ( 4 ). Complexes 1 – 4 have been characterized by spectroscopic techniques and their solid-state structures were also confirmed by X-ray crystallography. Furthermore, complexes 1 – 4 have been applied in a direct and convenient method to catalyze the Negishi cross-coupling reaction of various aryl halides with 2,6-difluorophenylzinc bromide or phenylzinc bromide as the coupling partner in the presence of 3 mol % catalyst. Comparatively, among all-pristine complexes, 1 exhibit high catalytic potential to afford value-added C−C coupled products without the use of any additive. The UV-vis studies and HRMS measurements of controlled stochiometric reactions vindicate the involvement of Ni(I)−NI(III) cycle featured with a penta-coordinated Ni(III)-aryl species as the key intermediate for 1 whereas Ni(0)/Ni(II) species are potentially involved in the catalytic cycle of 4 .  相似文献

Herein, we report that a series of novel palladium(II)‐NHC complexes (NHC=N‐heterocyclic carbene) were synthesized. The structures of all novel complexes were characterized by 1H NMR, 13C NMR, FT‐IR spectroscopy and elemental analysis techniques. These palladium(II)‐NHC complexes were tested as efficient catalysts in the direct C—H bond activation of benzoxazole and benzothiazole with aryl bromides in the presence of 1 mol% catalyst loading at 150 °C for 4 h. Under the given conditions, various aryl bromides were successfully applied as the arylating reagents to achieve the 2‐arylbenzoxazoles and 2‐arylbenzothiazoles in acceptable to high yields.  相似文献

Air and moisture stable homoleptic bis(diimidazolylidine)nickel(II) complexes, ([(diNHC)(2)Ni](2+)) 3a,b and their corresponding silver(I) 4a,b and palladium(II) 5a,b complexes were synthesized and characterized by NMR and single crystal X-ray analysis. The catalytic potential of complex 3a was assessed in Mizoroki-Heck and Suzuki-Miyaura coupling reactions. In the Suzuki-Miyaura coupling reaction, nickel precatalyst 3a was active for the coupling of aryl chlorides as well as aryl fluorides. The analogously synthesized Pd(II) complexes resulted in formation of (diNHC)PdCl(2) species which were not active for the coupling of aryl fluorides. For the Mizoroki-Heck reaction, it was found that aryl iodides could be activated in the absence of nickel or palladium precatalysts when using Na(2)CO(3) or NEt(3) as base while aryl iodides and aryl bromides could be activated in the Suzuki-Miyaura reaction sans precatalyst when K(3)PO(4) was used as base.  相似文献

1H,13C, and195Pt NMR studies were performed for Pt(ll) and Pd(II) complexes with glycine cis- and trans-M(Gly)2, trans-Pd(GlyH)2Cl2 , cis- and trans-Pt(GlyH)2Cl2 , Na[Pd(GIy)Cl2], and K[Pt(Gly)CI2] in donor type solvents DMSO and H2O. It is shown that a cis ↔ trans equilibrium takes place in these solvents and that the equilibration rate is low for Pt(II) complexes and high for Pd(II) complexes. Therefore, the cis- and trans-complexes of Pt(II) may be recorded by NMR spectroscopy in the individual state, whereas for Pd(II) there is an equilibrium mixture of cis- and trans-isomers. Solvolysis of Cl-containing complexes in DMSO is studied. A mechanism of solvolysis involving eis ↔ trans isomerization of the dichloro complexes of Pd(II) is suggested. NMR spectral data for some solvolysis products are given. Translated fromZhurnal Strukturnoi Khimii, Vol. 41, No. 2, pp. 300–311, March–April, 2000.  相似文献

A conclusion regarding a diequatorial orientation of the aryl substituents was drawn on the basis of a study of the 1H and 13C NMR spectra of 2,6-diarylthiacyclohexanes. A trans structure of the complexes with an equatorial Smetal bond was established by a comparative analysis of the 13C NMR spectra of 2,6-diarylthiacyclohexanes and their complexes with Pt(II) and Pd(II).Translated from Khimiya Geterotsiklicheskikh Soedinenii, No. 5, pp. 609–613, May, 1987.  相似文献

Two unsymmetrical PCN pincer Pd(II) complexes 3a3b which are based on (pyrazolyl)aryl phosphinite ligands and contain two fused six-membered palladacycles have been synthesized from 3-(3,5-dimethylpyrazol-1-ylmethyl)benzyl alcohol (2) by one-pot phosphorylation/palladation reaction via C–H bond activation of the related ligands. The pyrazole-coordinated phosphine-free Pd(II) complex (4) was also isolated in the preparation of pincer complex 3a. The new complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, 31P {1H} NMR (for pincer complexes) and IR spectra. And the molecular structures of 3b and 4 have been further determined by X-ray single-crystal diffraction. The pincer Pd complexes 3a and 3b exhibited rather low activity in the allylation of benzaldehyde.  相似文献

A novel complex of PdCl2 with a multidentate cryptand ligand, Kryptofix 5, has been prepared and characterized by various techniques including 1H‐ and 13C NMR spectroscopy, Fourier transform infrared (FT‐IR), Raman, ultraviolet and visible (UV‐VIS) spectroscopy, inductively coupled plasma (ICP), CHN elemental and energy dispersive X‐ray analysis (EDX). This heat‐ and air‐stable complex was utilized as a highly active catalyst for the Mizoroki‐Heck reaction of aryl halides with various olefins. Interestingly, it was found that aryl bromides as well as aryl iodides were efficiently cross‐coupled with terminal alkenes at 130 °C in 10 min. Furthermore, the least reactive aryl chlorides reacted with styrene to obtain the desired products in acceptable yields.  相似文献

The synthesis and characterization of a series of (N-heterocyclic carbene)PdCl3(NMe3H)+ ion-pair complexes are presented. Applying the quaternary ammonium salt as the function with NHC–Pd(II) complexes yields the new ion-pair complexes. The NHC–Pd(II) ion-pair complexes work well by undergoing the Suzuki–Miyaura reaction with aryl chloride substrates in water under mild conditions in air at room temperature. Twenty products resulting from Suzuki–Miyaura coupling reactions carried out in the presence of the new NHC–Pd(II) ion-pair complex under mild optimal conditions were examined to determine the optimum yields.  相似文献
