We conjecture that derived categories of coherent sheaves on fake projective n  -spaces have a semi-orthogonal decomposition into a collection of n+1n+1 exceptional objects and a category with vanishing Hochschild homology. We prove this for fake projective planes with non-abelian automorphism group (such as Keum's surface). Then by passing to equivariant categories we construct new examples of phantom categories with both Hochschild homology and Grothendieck group vanishing.  相似文献

We establish a—and conjecture further—relationship between the existence of subvarieties representing minimal cohomology classes on principally polarized abelian varieties, and the generic vanishing of the cohomology of twisted ideal sheaves. The main ingredient is the Generic Vanishing criterion established in Pareschi G. and Popa M. (GV-sheaves, Fourier–Mukai transform, and Generic Vanishing. A result of J. Wahl shows that the existence of a vector field vanishing on an ample divisor of a projective normal variety X implies that X is a cone over this divisor. If X is smooth, X will be isomorphic to the n-dimensional projective space. This paper is a first attempt to generalize Wahl's theorem to higher codimensions: Given a complex smooth projective threefold X and a vector field on X vanishing on an irreducible and reduced curve which is the scheme theoretic intersection of two ample divisors, X is isomorphic to the 3-dimensional projective space or the 3-dimensional quadric. In this paper we discuss four different constructions of vector space bases associated to vanishing ideals of points. We show how to compute normal forms with respect to these bases and give new complexity bounds. Let G be a simple algebraic group over the field of complex numbers. Fix a maximal torus T and a Borel subgroup B of G containing T. Let w be an element of the Weyl group W of G, and let Z(w?) be the Bott–Samelson–Demazure–Hansen (BSDH) variety corresponding to a reduced expression w? of w with respect to the data (G,B,T).In this article we give complete characterization of the expressions w? such that the corresponding BSDH variety Z(w?) is Fano or weak Fano. As a consequence we prove vanishing theorems of the cohomology of tangent bundle of certain BSDH varieties and hence we get some local rigidity results.  相似文献

We study certain moduli spaces of stable vector bundles of rank 2 on cubic and quartic threefolds. In many cases under consideration, it turns out that the moduli space is complete and irreducible and a general member has vanishing intermediate cohomology. By using chaos expansion into multiple stochastic integrals, we make a wavelet analysis of two self-similar stochastic processes: the fractional Brownian motion and the Rosenblatt process. We study the asymptotic behavior of the statistic based on the wavelet coefficients of these processes. Basically, when applied to a non-Gaussian process (such as the Rosenblatt process) this statistic satisfies a non-central limit theorem even when we increase the number of vanishing moments of the wavelet function. We apply our limit theorems to construct estimators for the self-similarity index and we illustrate our results by simulations.  相似文献

This article can be divided into two loosely connected parts. The first part is devoted to proving a singular version of the logarithmic Kodaira–Akizuki–Nakano vanishing theorem of Esnault and Viehweg in the style of Navarro-Aznar et al. This in turn is used to prove other vanishing theorems. In the second part, these vanishing theorems are used to prove an Arakelov–Parshin type boundedness result for families of canonically polarized varieties with rational Gorenstein singularities.  相似文献

We prove Bertini type theorems for the inverse image, under a proper morphism, of any Schubert variety in an homogeneous space. Using generalisations of Deligne's trick, we deduce connectedness results for the inverse image of the diagonal in X2 where X is any isotropic grassmannian. We also deduce simple connectedness properties for subvarieties of X. Finally we prove transplanting theorems à la Barth-Larsen for the Picard group of any isotropic grassmannian of lines and for the Neron-Severi group of some adjoint and coadjoint homogeneous spaces.  相似文献

In this article, we consider the representations of the general linear group over a non-archimedean local field obtained from the vanishing cycle cohomology of the Lubin-Tate tower. We give an easy and direct proof of the fact that no supercuspidal representation appears as a subquotient of such representations unless they are obtained from the cohomology of the middle degree. We show that compactly supported functions with sufficient smoothness and enough vanishing moments can serve as analyzing vectors for shearlet coorbit spaces. We use this approach to prove embedding theorems for subspaces of shearlet coorbit spaces resembling shearlets on the cone into Besov spaces. The purpose of this paper is to establish Nadel type vanishing theorems with multiplier ideal sheaves of singular metrics admitting an analytic Zariski decomposition (such as, metrics with minimal singularities and Siu’s metrics). For this purpose, we generalize Kollár’s injectivity theorem to an injectivity theorem for line bundles equipped with singular metrics, by making use of the theory of harmonic integrals. Generalizing a result of Miyaoka, we prove that the semistability of a vector bundle E on a smooth projective curve over a field of characteristic zero is equivalent to the nefness of any of certain divisorial classes θs, λs in the Grassmannians Grs(E) of locally-free quotients of E and in the projective bundles PQs, respectively (here 0<s<rkE and Qs is the universal quotient bundle on Grs(E)). The result is extended to Higgs bundles. In that case a necessary and sufficient condition for semistability is that all classes λs are nef. We also extend this result to higher-dimensional complex projective varieties by showing that the nefness of the classes λs is equivalent to the semistability of the bundle E together with the vanishing of the characteristic class .  相似文献
