The crystal structure of the title compound, [Mn(NO3)(C10H8N2)(H2O)3]NO3, contains a monomeric [Mn(NO3)(bpy)(H2O)3]+ cation (bpy is 2,2′‐bipyridine) and a nitrate anion. The MnII ion is coordinated by one chelating bpy [Mn—N 2.241 (3) and 2.259 (3) Å], three water molecules [Mn—O 2.120 (3)–2.188 (3) Å] and a nitrate ligand [Mn—O 2.228 (2) Å] in a distorted octahedral geometry. There are O?H—O hydrogen‐bonding interactions between the ligated water molecules and the ligated and unligated nitrate anions, resulting in double columns of stacked cations and anions. 相似文献

The title compound, [Cu(ClO4)(C5H6N2)2(C12H12N2)]ClO4, was prepared by in situ partial ligand substitution between 3‐aminopyridine and 4,4′‐dimethyl‐2,2′‐bipyridine at room temperature. The central copper(II) ion is five‐coordinated by one bidentate 4,4′‐dimethyl‐2,2′‐bipyridine molecule, two monodentate pyridine‐coordinated 3‐aminopyridine molecules and one apical O atom from the perchlorate counter‐ion. Intermolecular N—H⋯O and C—H⋯O hydrogen‐bonding interactions form a hydrogen‐bond‐sustained network. 相似文献

The single‐crystal X‐ray structures of dimethyl 2,2′‐bipyridine‐6,6′‐dicarboxylate, C14H12N2O4, and the copper(I) coordination complex bis(dimethyl 2,2′‐bipyridine‐6,6′‐dicarboxylato‐κ2N,N′)copper(I) tetrafluoroborate, [Cu(C14H12N2O4)2]BF4, are reported. The uncoordinated ligand crystallizes across an inversion centre and adopts the anticipated anti pyridyl arrangement with coplanar pyridyl rings. In contrast, upon coordination of copper(I), the ligand adopts an arrangement of pyridyl donors facilitating chelating metal coordination and an increased inter‐pyridyl twisting within each ligand. The distortion of each ligand contrasts with comparable copper(I) complexes of unfunctionalized 2,2′‐bipyridine. 相似文献

The isomorphous title compounds, [Tr(S4O6)(C12H12N2)2]·2C3H7NO (Tr = CdII and ZnII), consist of metal centres to which one tetrathionate and two 4,4′‐dimethyl‐2,2′‐bipyridine chelating ligands bind. The structures are completed by two symmetry‐related dimethylformamide solvent molecules. Each metal‐centred complex is bisected by a twofold axis running through the metal centre and halving the chelating tetrathionate dianion through the central S—S bond. The ancillary symmetry‐related 4,4′‐dimethyl‐2,2′‐bipyridine ligands act as chelates. This results in a distorted six‐coordinate geometry, with similar Tr—O/N distances but central angles differing substantially from 90 and 180°. Both ligands are basically featureless from a geometric point of view, with torsion angles in both coordinated tetrathionate groups suggesting a trend linking metal size (covalent radius) and ligand `openness'. Packing is directed by (C—H)aromatic...O bridges and π–π offset stacked interactions defining chains along [001], further linked by weaker (C—H)methyl...O bridges, some of them mediated by the dimethylformamide solvent molecules. 相似文献

The title compound, [Cu(Cr2O7)(C10H8N2)2], a new mixed‐metal molecular compound, contains isolated molecular units, each comprised of one CuII atom coordinated to two 2,2′‐bipyridine ligands and also to an oxygen vertex of a dichromate anion. The CuII atom has an approximate trigonal–bipyramidal geometry, which is consistent with previous studies. Both enantiomers of the chiral complex molecule are present and are related by inversion centers. In a reported pyridine analogue, achiral [Cu(Cr2O7)(pyridine)4] chains pack in the non‐centrosymmetric space group Pna21. Differences in the organic ligands influence the chirality and dimensionality of the Cu—Cr2O7 bonding. 相似文献

The title compound, [Pd2(C4H13N3)2(C14H16N2)](NO3)4, comprises discrete tetracationic dumbbell‐type dinuclear complex molecules and noncoordinating nitrate anions. Two Pd(dien)2+ moieties (dien is diethylenetriamine) are joined by the rigid linear exo‐bidentate bridging 2,2′,6,6′‐tetramethyl‐4,4′‐bipyridine ligand to form the dinuclear complex, which lies across a centre of inversion in the space group P21/n, so that the rings in the 2,2′,6,6′‐tetramethyl‐4,4′‐bipyridine bridging ligand are parallel. In the crystal, the primary and secondary amino groups of the dien ligand act as hydrogen‐bond donors towards the nitrate anions to form a three‐dimensional hydrogen‐bond network. 相似文献

Crystals of the title compound, [Cr(C4H5NO4)(C6H6N4S2)(H2O)]Cl·H2O, consist of CrIII complex cations, Cl− counter‐ions and lattice water molecules. The complex cation assumes an octahedral coordination geometry, formed by a tridentate iminodiacetate dianion (IDA), a diaminobithiazole (DABT) molecule and a water molecule. The planar DABT group chelates the CrIII ion with normal Cr—N distances [2.0574 (17) and 2.0598 (17) Å], but the DABT molecule is inclined to the coordination plane by a dihedral angle of 17.23 (7)°. In the monodentate carboxylate groups of the IDA ion, the coordinated C—O bonds [1.288 (3) and 1.284 (3) Å] are much longer than the uncoordinated C—O bonds [1.222 (3) and 1.225 (3) Å]. 相似文献

The title compound, [Fe2O(SO4)2(C10H8N2)4], crystallizes as two different hydrates, viz. 11H2O, (I), and 15H2O, (II). The complex is binuclear, in which the two FeIII atoms are coordinated in an octahedral geometry to four N atoms from the two bipyridine ligands, to one O atom from the sulfate ion and to an oxide ion on a twofold axis, which acts as a bridge between the symmetry‐related units. The Fe⋯Fe separation is 3.556 (4) Å and the Fe—O—Fe angle is 161.6 (2)° in (I); the corresponding values are 3.544 (1) Å and 165.8 (2)° in (II). In (II), one of the O atoms of the sulfate ion is disordered over two positions. In both compounds, the solvent water molecules form slightly different one‐dimensional hydrogen‐bonded networks which pass along the c axis of the unit cell. In (I), three solvent water molecules and, in (II), one solvent water molecule, are situated on the twofold axis. In both (I) and (II), the central O atom of the metal complex lies on a twofold axis. 相似文献

The crystal structure of the title compound, [Cu(C2N3)2(C10H8N2)]n, is formed by neutral zigzag chains of the [–NC–N–CN–Cu{(bpy)N(CN)2}–NC–N–CN–] type running along the c axis (bpy is 2,2′‐bipyridine). The Cu atoms in the chains are pentacoordinated in the form of a distorted tetragonal pyramid, with a CuN5 chromophore. The coordination sites are occupied by two N atoms of one bpy molecule in the basal plane [Cu—N 2.018 (4) and 2.025 (2) Å] and by three terminal N atoms of two dicyanamide ligands. One of the dicyanamide ligands is coordinated in a monodentate fashion through a nitrile N atom in the basal plane [Cu—N 1.963 (4) Å]. The second acts as an end‐to‐end bridging ligand to a neighbouring Cu atom and is coordinated by one nitrile N atom in the basal plane [Cu—N 2.001 (2) Å], while the second nitrile N atom occupies the apical position [Cu—N 2.159 (2) Å] and originates from the bridge connecting another Cu atom. The shortest intrachain Cu?Cu distance is 8.212 (1) Å, as a consequence of the large bridging ligand, whereas the minimum interchain distance between Cu atoms is only 5.77 (7) Å, because of the interdigitation of the chains. 相似文献

In the crystal structure of the title complex, [Ni2(C10H20N4O2)(C12H12N2)2](ClO4)2 or [Ni(dmaeoxd)Ni(dmbp)2](ClO4)2 {H2dmaeoxd is N,N′‐bis[2‐(dimethylamino)ethyl]oxamide and dmbp is 4,4′‐dimethyl‐2,2′‐bipyridine}, the deprotonated dmaeoxd2− ligand is in a cis conformation and bridges two NiII atoms, one of which is located in a slightly distorted square‐planar environment, while the other is in an irregular octahedral environment. The cation is located on a twofold symmetry axis running through both Ni atoms. The dmaeoxd2− ligands interact with each other via C—H⋯O hydrogen bonds and π–π interactions, which results in an extended chain along the c axis. 相似文献

The title compound, [Er(C5H7O2)3(C12H8N2)], is a mixed‐ligand metal–organic precursor for chemical vapour deposition, with the Er atom being eight‐coordinate. The coordination polyhedron, described as a distorted square antiprism, is formed by three bidentate (chelating) acetylacetonate residues and a phenanthroline ligand in the apical positions. Molecular assembly via C—H⋯O hydrogen bonds generates a sheet structure in the ac plane. Weak co‐operative C—H⋯π interactions form molecular dimers and contribute to the stability of the intersheet packing. The supramolecular assembly contains voids which form hydrophobic porous channels, surrounded by a cluster of dimers. 相似文献

The reaction of NiCl2, K2C2O4·H2O and 2,2′‐bipyridine (bpy) in water–ethanol solution at 281 K yields light‐purple needles of the new pentahydrate of bis(2,2′‐bipyridine)oxalatonickel(II), [Ni(C2O4)(C10H8N2)2]·5H2O or [Ni(ox)(bpy)2]·5H2O, while at room temperature, deep‐pink prisms of the previously reported tetrahydrate [Ni(ox)(bpy)2]·4H2O [Román, Luque, Guzmán‐Miralles & Beitia (1995), Polyhedron, 14 , 2863–2869] were gathered. The asymmetric unit in the crystal structure of the new pentahydrate incorporates the discrete molecular complex [Ni(ox)(bpy)2] and five solvent water molecules. Within the complex molecule, all three ligands are bonded as chelates. The complex molecules are involved in an extended system of hydrogen bonds with the solvent water molecules. Additionally, π–π interactions also contribute to the stabilization of the extended structure. The dehydration of the pentahydrate starts at 323 K and proceeds in at least two steps as determined by thermal analysis. 相似文献

In the title compound, [TbCl(C27H35N3)2(H2O)](ClO4)2·2C2H6O, the TbIII ion has a coordination number of eight, composed of two tridentate substituted‐terpyridine ligands, a water molecule and a bound Cl? anion. In the title compound, [Ru(C10H8N2)2(C12H8N2)][Pt(CN)4], cations and anions alternate along the a axis to afford a one‐dimensional network. The one‐dimensional character arises from the π–π stacking as well as from the electrostatic interactions formed between the phen (1,10‐phenanthroline) and [Pt(CN)4]2− units. Two adjacent one‐dimensional chains form further stacks based on the π–π stacking interactions between the phen moieties, where the interplanar spacing is 3.50 (1) Å. 相似文献

The synthesis and crystal structure of the mononuclear title compound, [Co(C2O4)(C10H8N2)2]·5H2O, is reported. The Co atom is six‐coordinated by two O atoms of a bidentate oxalate group and by four N atoms of two bipyridine ligands.
