In order to investigate the relative stability of N—H...O and N—H...S hydrogen bonds, we cocrystallized the antithyroid drug 6‐propyl‐2‐thiouracil with two complementary heterocycles. In the cocrystal pyrimidin‐2‐amine–6‐propyl‐2‐thiouracil (1/2), C4H5N3·2C7H10N2OS, (I), the `base pair' is connected by one N—H...S and one N—H...N hydrogen bond. Homodimers of 6‐propyl‐2‐thiouracil linked by two N—H...S hydrogen bonds are observed in the cocrystal N‐(6‐acetamidopyridin‐2‐yl)acetamide–6‐propyl‐2‐thiouracil (1/2), C9H11N3O2·2C7H10N2OS, (II). The crystal structure of 6‐propyl‐2‐thiouracil itself, C7H10N2OS, (III), is stabilized by pairwise N—H...O and N—H...S hydrogen bonds. In all three structures, N—H...S hydrogen bonds occur only within R22(8) patterns, whereas N—H...O hydrogen bonds tend to connect the homo‐ and heterodimers into extended networks. In agreement with related structures, the hydrogen‐bonding capability of C=O and C=S groups seems to be comparable.  相似文献

Both 6‐(1H‐indol‐3‐yl)‐3‐methyl‐4‐(4‐methylphenyl)‐1‐phenyl‐1H‐pyrazolo[3,4‐b]pyridine‐5‐carbonitrile and 6‐(1H‐indol‐3‐yl)‐3‐methyl‐4‐(4‐methoxyphenyl)‐1‐phenyl‐1H‐pyrazolo[3,4‐b]pyridine‐5‐carbonitrile crystallize from dimethylformamide solutions as stoichiometric 1:1 solvates, viz. C29H21N5·C3H7NO, (I), and C29H21N5O·C3H7NO, (II), respectively; however, 6‐(1H‐indol‐3‐yl)‐3‐methyl‐1‐phenyl‐4‐(3,4,5‐trimethoxyphenyl)‐1H‐pyrazolo[3,4‐b]pyridine‐5‐carbonitrile, C31H25N5O3, (III), crystallizes in the unsolvated form. The heterocyclic components of (I) are linked by C—H...π(arene) hydrogen bonds to form cyclic centrosymmetric dimers, from which the solvent molecules are pendent, linked by N—H...O hydrogen bonds. In (II), the heterocyclic components are linked by a combination of C—H...N and C—H...π(arene) hydrogen bonds into chains containing two types of centrosymmetric ring, and the pendent solvent molecules are linked to these chains by N—H...O hydrogen bonds. Molecules of (III) are linked into simple C(12) chains by an N—H...O hydrogen bond, and these chains are weakly linked into pairs by an aromatic π–π stacking interaction.  相似文献

In the title compounds, 2‐methoxyethyl 6‐amino‐5‐cyano‐2‐methyl‐4‐(1‐naphthyl)‐4H‐pyran‐3‐carboxylate, C21H20N2O4, (II), isopropyl 6‐amino‐5‐cyano‐2‐methyl‐4‐(1‐naphthyl)‐4H‐pyran‐3‐carboxylate, C21H20N2O3, (III), and ethyl 6‐amino‐5‐cyano‐2‐methyl‐4‐(1‐naphthyl)‐4H‐pyran‐3‐carboxylate, C20H18N2O3, (IV), the heterocyclic pyran ring adopts a flattened boat conformation. In (II) and (III), the carbonyl group and a double bond of the heterocyclic ring are mutually anti, but in (IV) they are mutually syn. The ester O atoms in (II) and (III) and the carbonyl O atom in (IV) participate in intramolecular C—H...O contacts to form six‐membered rings. The dihedral angles between the naphthalene substituent and the closest four atoms of the heterocyclic ring are 73.3 (1), 71.0 (1) and 74.3 (1)° for (II)–(IV), respectively. In all three structures, only one H atom of the NH2 group takes part in N—H...O [in (II) and (III)] or N—H...N [in (IV)] intermolecular hydrogen bonds, and chains [in (II) and (III)] or dimers [in (IV)] are formed. In (II), weak intermolecular C—H...O and C—H...N hydrogen bonds, and in (III) intermolecular C—H...O hydrogen bonds link the chains into ladders along the a axis.  相似文献

In the three spiroacenaphthylene structures 5′′‐[(E)‐2,3‐dichlorobenzylidene]‐7′‐(2,3‐dichlorophenyl)‐1′′‐methyldispiro[acenaphthylene‐1,5′‐pyrrolo[1,2‐c][1,3]thiazole‐6′,3′′‐piperidine]‐2,4′′‐dione, C35H26Cl4N2O2S, (I), 5′′‐[(E)‐4‐fluorobenzylidene]‐7′‐(4‐fluorophenyl)‐1′′‐methyldispiro[acenaphthylene‐1,5′‐pyrrolo[1,2‐c][1,3]thiazole‐6′,3′′‐piperidine]‐2,4′′‐dione, C35H28F2N2O2S, (II), and 5′′‐[(E)‐4‐bromobenzylidene]‐7′‐(4‐bromophenyl)‐1′′‐methyldispiro[acenaphthylene‐1,5′‐pyrrolo[1,2‐c][1,3]thiazole‐6′,3′′‐piperidine]‐2,4′′‐dione, C35H28Br2N2O2S, (III), the substituted aryl groups are 2,3‐dichloro‐, 4‐fluoro‐ and 4‐bromophenyl, respectively. The six‐membered piperidine ring in all three structures adopts a half‐chair conformation, the thiazolidine ring adopts a slightly twisted envelope and the pyrrolidine ring an envelope conformation; in each case, the C atom linking the rings is the flap atom. In all three structures, weak intramolecular C—H...O interactions are present. The crystal packing is stabilized through a number of intermolecular C—H...O and C—H...X interactions, where X = Cl in (I) and F or S in (II), and C—H...O interactions are observed predominantly in (III). In all three structures, molecules are linked through centrosymmetric ring motifs, further tailored through a relay of C—H...X [Cl in (I), Br in (II) and O in (III)] interactions.  相似文献

The title salts, 4‐chloroanilinium hydrogen phthalate (PCAHP), C6H7ClN+·C8H5O4, 2‐hydroxyanilinium hydrogen phthalate (2HAHP), C6H8NO+·C8H5O4, and 3‐hydroxyanilinium hydrogen phthalate (3HAHP), C6H8NO+·C8H5O4, all crystallize in the space group P21/c. The asymmetric unit of 2HAHP contains two independent ion pairs. The hydrogen phthalate ions of 2HAHP and 3HAHP show a short intramolecular O—H...O hydrogen bond, with O...O distances ranging from 2.3832 (15) to 2.3860 (14) Å. N—H...O and O—H...O hydrogen bonds, together with short C—H...O contacts in PCAHP and 3HAHP, generate extended hydrogen‐bond networks. PCAHP forms a two‐dimensional supramolecular sheet extending in the (100) plane, whereas 2HAHP has a supramolecular chain running parallel to the [100] direction and 3HAHP has a two‐dimensional network extending parallel to the (001) plane.  相似文献

The syntheses, X‐ray structural investigations and calculations of the conformational preferences of the carbonyl substituent with respect to the pyran ring have been carried out for the two title compounds, viz. C15H14N2O2, (II), and C20H16N2O2·C2H3N, (III), respectively. In both molecules, the heterocyclic ring adopts a flattened boat conformation. In (II), the carbonyl group and a double bond of the heterocyclic ring are syn, but in (III) they are anti. The carbonyl group forms a short contact with a methyl group H atom in (II). The dihedral angles between the pseudo‐axial phenyl substituent and the flat part of the pyran ring are 92.7 (1) and 93.2 (1)° in (II) and (III), respectively. In the crystal structure of (II), intermolecular N—H⋯N and N—H⋯O hydrogen bonds link the molecules into a sheet along the (103) plane, while in (III), they link the molecules into ribbons along the a axis.  相似文献

In the title compound, 4‐iodoanilinium 2‐carboxy‐6‐nitrobenzoate, C6H7IN+·C8H4NO6, the anions are linked by an O—H...O hydrogen bond [H...O = 1.78 Å, O...O = 2.614 (3) Å and O—H...O = 171°] into C(7) chains, and these chains are linked by two two‐centre N—H...O hydrogen bonds [H...O = 1.86 and 1.92 Å, N...O = 2.700 (3) and 2.786 (3) Å, and N—H...O = 153 and 158°] and one three‐centre N—H...(O)2 hydrogen bond [H...O = 2.02 and 2.41 Å, N...O = 2.896 (3) and 2.789 (3) Å, N—H...O = 162 and 105°, and O...H...O = 92°], thus forming sheets containing R(6), R(8), R(13) and R(18) rings.  相似文献

N,N′‐Diethyl‐4‐nitrobenzene‐1,3‐diamine, C10H15N3O2, (I), crystallizes with two independent molecules in the asymmetric unit, both of which are nearly planar. The molecules differ in the conformation of the ethylamine group trans to the nitro group. Both molecules contain intramolecular N—H...O hydrogen bonds between the adjacent amine and nitro groups and are linked into one‐dimensional chains by intermolecular N—H...O hydrogen bonds. The chains are organized in layers parallel to (101) with separations of ca 3.4 Å between adjacent sheets. The packing is quite different from what was observed in isomeric 1,3‐bis(ethylamino)‐2‐nitrobenzene. 2,6‐Bis(ethylamino)‐3‐nitrobenzonitrile, C11H14N4O2, (II), differs from (I) only in the presence of the nitrile functionality between the two ethylamine groups. Compound (II) crystallizes with one unique molecule in the asymmetric unit. In contrast with (I), one of the ethylamine groups, which is disordered over two sites with occupancies of 0.75 and 0.25, is positioned so that the methyl group is directed out of the plane of the ring by approximately 85°. This ethylamine group forms an intramolecular N—H...O hydrogen bond with the adjacent nitro group. The packing in (II) is very different from that in (I). Molecules of (II) are linked by both intermolecular amine–nitro N—H...O and amine–nitrile N—H...N hydrogen bonds into a two‐dimensional network in the (10) plane. Alternating molecules are approximately orthogonal to one another, indicating that π–π interactions are not a significant factor in the packing. Bis(4‐ethylamino‐3‐nitrophenyl) sulfone, C16H18N4O6S, (III), contains the same ortho nitro/ethylamine pairing as in (I), with the position para to the nitro group occupied by the sulfone instead of a second ethylamine group. Each 4‐ethylamino‐3‐nitrobenzene moiety is nearly planar and contains the typical intramolecular N—H...O hydrogen bond. Due to the tetrahedral geometry about the S atom, the molecules of (III) adopt an overall V shape. There are no intermolecular amine–nitro hydrogen bonds. Rather, each amine H atom has a long (H...O ca 2.8 Å) interaction with one of the sulfone O atoms. Molecules of (III) are thus linked by amine–sulfone N—H...O hydrogen bonds into zigzag double chains running along [001]. Taken together, these structures demonstrate that small changes in the functionalization of ethylamine–nitroarenes cause significant differences in the intermolecular interactions and packing.  相似文献

In each of ethyl N‐{2‐amino‐5‐formyl‐6‐[methyl(phenyl)amino]pyrimidin‐4‐yl}glycinate, C16H19N5O3, (I), N‐{2‐amino‐5‐formyl‐6‐[methyl(phenyl)amino]pyrimidin‐4‐yl}glycinamide, C14H16N6O2, (II), and ethyl 3‐amino‐N‐{2‐amino‐5‐formyl‐6‐[methyl(phenyl)amino]pyrimidin‐4‐yl}propionate, C17H21N5O3, (III), the pyrimidine ring is effectively planar, but in each of methyl N‐{2‐amino‐6‐[benzyl(methyl)amino]‐5‐formylpyrimidin‐4‐yl}glycinate, C16H19N5O3, (IV), ethyl 3‐amino‐N‐{2‐amino‐6‐[benzyl(methyl)amino]‐5‐formylpyrimidin‐4‐yl}propionate, C18H23N5O3, (V), and ethyl 3‐amino‐N‐[2‐amino‐5‐formyl‐6‐(piperidin‐4‐yl)pyrimidin‐4‐yl]propionate, C15H23N5O3, (VI), the pyrimidine ring is folded into a boat conformation. The bond lengths in each of (I)–(VI) provide evidence for significant polarization of the electronic structure. The molecules of (I) are linked by paired N—H...N hydrogen bonds to form isolated dimeric aggregates, and those of (III) are linked by a combination of N—H...N and N—H...O hydrogen bonds into a chain of edge‐fused rings. In the structure of (IV), molecules are linked into sheets by means of two hydrogen bonds, both of N—H...O type, in the structure of (V) by three hydrogen bonds, two of N—H...N type and one of C—H...O type, and in the structure of (VI) by four hydrogen bonds, all of N—H...O type. Molecules of (II) are linked into a three‐dimensional framework structure by a combination of three N—H...O hydrogen bonds and one C—H...O hydrogen bond.  相似文献

Two inclusion compounds of dithiobiurea and tetrapropylammonium and tetrabutylammonium are characterized and reported, namely tetrapropylammonium carbamothioyl(carbamothioylamino)azanide, C12H28N+·C2H5N4S2, (1), and tetrabutylammonium carbamothioyl(carbamothioylamino)azanide, C16H36N+·C2H5N4S2, (2). The results show that in (1), the dithiobiurea anion forms a dimer via N—H...N hydrogen bonds and the dimers are connected into wide hydrogen‐bonded ribbons. The guest tetrapropylammonium cation changes its character to become the host molecule, generating pseudo‐channels containing the aforementioned ribbons by C—H...S contacts, yielding the three‐dimensional network structure. In comparison, in (2), the dithiobiurea anions are linked via N—H...S interactions, producing one‐dimensional chains which pack to generate two‐dimensional hydrogen‐bonded layers. These layers accommodate the guest tetrabutylammonium cations, resulting in a sandwich‐like layer structure with host–guest C—H...S contacts.  相似文献

In order to study the preferred hydrogen‐bonding pattern of 6‐amino‐2‐thiouracil, C4H5N3OS, (I), crystallization experiments yielded five different pseudopolymorphs of (I), namely the dimethylformamide disolvate, C4H5N3OS·2C3H7NO, (Ia), the dimethylacetamide monosolvate, C4H5N3OS·C4H9NO, (Ib), the dimethylacetamide sesquisolvate, C4H5N3OS·1.5C4H9NO, (Ic), and two different 1‐methylpyrrolidin‐2‐one sesquisolvates, C4H5N3OS·1.5C5H9NO, (Id) and (Ie). All structures contain R21(6) N—H...O hydrogen‐bond motifs. In the latter four structures, additional R22(8) N—H...O hydrogen‐bond motifs are present stabilizing homodimers of (I). No type of hydrogen bond other than N—H...O is observed. According to a search of the Cambridge Structural Database, most 2‐thiouracil derivatives form homodimers stabilized by an R22(8) hydrogen‐bonding pattern, with (i) only N—H...O, (ii) only N—H...S or (iii) alternating pairs of N—H...O and N—H...S hydrogen bonds.  相似文献

Among the three compounds reported here, namely N‐(4‐fluorophenyl)‐β‐d ‐mannopyranosylamine, (I), N‐(3‐fluorophenyl)‐β‐d ‐mannopyranosylamine, (II), and N‐(2‐fluorophenyl)‐β‐d ‐mannopyranosylamine, (III), all with chemical formula C12H16FNO5, (I) and (II) are isostructural, whereas (III) assumes the same packing arrangement as the unfluorinated analogue N‐phenyl‐β‐d ‐mannopyranosylamine, (IV), which has been reported previously. Similarities with respect to the intermolecular hydrogen‐bonding patterns exist across the series (I)–(III). A packing motif that distinguishes the shared packing arrangement of (I) and (II) from that of (III) is a C—F...H—C chain of graph set C(4) that is preserved in the formal exchange of F and H atoms at the 4‐ and 3‐positions on the aromatic ring of (I) and (II), but is replaced by a different chain of graph set C(5) when the F atom is located at the 2‐position of the aromatic ring in (III). The steric role of the F atom in (I)–(III) is ambiguous but is examined here in detail.  相似文献

Infinite chains connected by N—H...N hydrogen bonding form the primary packing motif in two closely related 4‐nitroimidazole derivatives, viz. 5‐bromo‐2‐methyl‐4‐nitro‐1H‐imidazole, C4H4BrN3O2, (I), and 2‐methyl‐4‐nitro‐1H‐imidazole‐5‐carbonitrile, C5H4N4O2, (II). These chains are almost identical, even though in (II) there are two symmetry‐independent molecules in the asymmetric unit. The differences appear in the interactions between the chains; in (I), there are strong C—Br...O halogen bonds, which connect the chains into a two‐dimensional grid, while in (II), the cyano group does not participate in specific interactions and the chains are only loosely connected into a three‐dimensional structure.  相似文献

The 1,5‐benzodiazepine ring system exhibits a puckered boat‐like conformation for all four title compounds [4‐(2‐hydroxyphenyl)‐2‐phenyl‐2,3‐dihydro‐1H‐1,5‐benzodiazepine, C21H18N2O, (I), 2‐(2,3‐dimethoxyphenyl)‐4‐(2‐hydroxyphenyl)‐2,3‐dihydro‐1H‐1,5‐benzodiazepine, C23H22N2O3, (II), 2‐(3,4‐dimethoxyphenyl)‐4‐(2‐hydroxyphenyl)‐2,3‐dihydro‐1H‐1,5‐benzodiazepine, C23H22N2O3, (III), and 2‐(2,5‐dimethoxyphenyl)‐4‐(2‐hydroxyphenyl)‐2,3‐dihydro‐1H‐1,5‐benzodiazepine, C23H22N2O3, (IV)]. The stereochemical correlation of the two C6 aromatic groups with respect to the benzodiazepine ring system is pseudo‐equatorial–equatorial for compounds (I) (the phenyl group), (II) (the 2,3‐dimethoxyphenyl group) and (III) (the 3,4‐dimethoxyphenyl group), while for (IV) (the 2,5‐dimethoxyphenyl group) the system is pseudo‐axial–equatorial. An intramolecular hydrogen bond between the hydroxyl OH group and a benzodiazepine N atom is present for all four compounds and defines a six‐membered ring, whose geometry is constant across the series. Although the molecular structures are similar, the supramolecular packing is different; compounds (I) and (IV) form chains, while (II) forms dimeric units and (III) displays a layered structure. The packing seems to depend on at least two factors: (i) the nature of the atoms defining the hydrogen bond and (ii) the number of intermolecular interactions of the types O—H...O, N—H...O, N—H...π(arene) or C—H...π(arene).  相似文献

In situ cryocrystallization has been employed to grow single crystals of 4‐methoxybenzaldehyde (anisaldehyde), C8H8O2, 2‐hydroxybenzaldehyde (salicylaldehyde), C7H6O2, and (2E)‐3‐phenylprop‐2‐enal (cinnamaldehyde), C9H8O, all of which are liquids at room temperature. Several weak C—H...O interactions of the types Caryl—H...O, Cformyl—H...O and Csp3—H...O are present in these related crystal structures.  相似文献

Six derivatives of 4‐amino‐1,5‐dimethyl‐2‐phenyl‐2,3‐dihydro‐1H‐pyrazol‐3‐one (4‐aminoantipyrine), C11H13N3O, (I), have been synthesized and structurally characterized to investigate the changes in the observed hydrogen‐bonding motifs compared to the original 4‐aminoantipyrine. The derivatives were synthesized from the reactions of 4‐aminoantipyrine with various aldehyde‐, ketone‐ and ester‐containing molecules, producing (Z)‐methyl 3‐[(1,5‐dimethyl‐3‐oxo‐2‐phenyl‐2,3‐dihydro‐1H‐pyrazol‐4‐yl)amino]but‐2‐enoate, C16H19N3O3, (II), (Z)‐ethyl 3‐[(1,5‐dimethyl‐3‐oxo‐2‐phenyl‐2,3‐dihydro‐1H‐pyrazol‐4‐yl)amino]but‐2‐enoate, C17H21N3O3, (III), ethyl 2‐[(1,5‐dimethyl‐3‐oxo‐2‐phenyl‐2,3‐dihydro‐1H‐pyrazol‐4‐yl)amino]cyclohex‐1‐enecarboxylate, C20H25N3O3, (IV), (Z)‐ethyl 3‐[(1,5‐dimethyl‐3‐oxo‐2‐phenyl‐2,3‐dihydro‐1H‐pyrazol‐4‐yl)amino]‐3‐phenylacrylate, C22H23N3O3, (V), 2‐cyano‐N‐(1,5‐dimethyl‐3‐oxo‐2‐phenyl‐2,3‐dihydro‐1H‐pyrazol‐4‐yl)acetamide, C14H14N4O2, (VI), and (E)‐methyl 4‐{[(1,5‐dimethyl‐3‐oxo‐2‐phenyl‐2,3‐dihydro‐1H‐pyrazol‐4‐yl)amino]methyl}benzoate, C20H19N3O3, (VII). The asymmetric units of all these compounds have one molecule on a general position. The hydrogen bonding in (I) forms chains of molecules via intermolecular N—H...O hydrogen bonds around a crystallographic sixfold screw axis. In contrast, the formation of enamines for all derived compounds except (VII) favours the formation of a six‐membered intramolecular N—H...O hydrogen‐bonded ring in (II)–(V) and an intermolecular N—H...O hydrogen bond in (VI), whereas there is an intramolecular C—H...O hydrogen bond in the structure of imine (VII). All the reported compounds, except for (II), feature π–π interactions, while C—H...π interactions are observed in (II), C—H...O interactions are observed in (I), (III), (V) and (VI), and a C—O...π interaction is observed in (II).  相似文献

In the title compound, C20H13ClN4O4, the six‐membered heterocyclic ring is planar and the molecular dimensions provide evidence for polarization of the molecular–electronic structure. Molecules are linked into a chain of rings by a combination of N—H...O and C—H...O hydrogen bonds, but the nitro group does not participate in the supramolecular aggregation. This study illustrates the marked influence of peripheral substituents on the pattern of hydrogen‐bonded aggregation in compounds of this type.  相似文献

The slow evaporation of analytical NMR samples resulted in the formation of crystals of (E)‐2‐({[4‐(dimethylamino)phenyl]imino}methyl)‐4‐nitrophenol, C15H15N3O3, (I), and (E)‐2‐({[4‐(diethylamino)phenyl]imino}methyl)‐4‐nitrophenol, C17H19N3O3, (II). Despite the small structural difference between these two N‐salicylideneaniline derivatives, they show different space groups and diverse molecular packing. The molecules of both compounds are close to being planar due to an intramolecular O—H...N hydrogen bond. The 4‐alkylamino‐substituted benzene ring is inclined at an angle of 13.44 (19)° in (I) and 2.57 (8)° in (II) with respect to the 4‐nitro‐substituted phenol ring. Only very weak intermolecular π–π stacking and C—H...O interactions were found in these structures.  相似文献

5‐Benzylamino‐3‐tert‐butyl‐1‐phenyl‐1H‐pyrazole, C20H23N3, (I), and its 5‐[4‐(trifluoromethyl)benzyl]‐, C21H22F3N3, (III), and 5‐(4‐bromobenzyl)‐, C20H22BrN3, (V), analogues, are isomorphous in the space group C2/c, but not strictly isostructural; molecules of (I) form hydrogen‐bonded chains, while those of (III) and (V) form hydrogen‐bonded sheets, albeit with slightly different architectures. Molecules of 3‐tert‐butyl‐5‐(4‐methylbenzylamino)‐1‐phenyl‐1H‐pyrazole, C21H25N3, (II), are linked into hydrogen‐bonded dimers by a combination of N—H...π(arene) and C—H...π(arene) hydrogen bonds, while those of 3‐tert‐butyl‐5‐(4‐chlorobenzylamino)‐1‐phenyl‐1H‐pyrazole, C20H22ClN3, (IV), form hydrogen‐bonded chains of rings which are themselves linked into sheets by an aromatic π–π stacking interaction. Simple hydrogen‐bonded chains built from a single N—H...O hydrogen bond are formed in 3‐tert‐butyl‐5‐(4‐nitrobenzylamino)‐1‐phenyl‐1H‐pyrazole, C20H22N4O2, (VI), while in 3‐tert‐butyl‐5‐(3,4,5‐trimethoxybenzylamino)‐1‐phenyl‐1H‐pyrazole, C23H29N3O3, (VII), which crystallizes with Z′ = 2 in the space group P, pairs of molecules are linked into two independent centrosymmetric dimers, one generated by a three‐centre N—H...(O)2 hydrogen bond and the other by a two‐centre N—H...O hydrogen bond.  相似文献
