The development of a desymmetrising cyclisation of a benzylic diallyl iodide is reported. The final procedure generates a new quaternary chiral centre in greater than 80% yield giving a highly functionalised methylene indan product suitable for further application in synthesis.  相似文献

The influence of carbodimide (CI), well known as a condensing agent for producing peptides from l-phenylalanine (l-Phe), on the formation of hematite (-Fe2O3) particles through a forced hydrolysis reaction of acidic FeCl3 solution was examined. The large ellipsoidal particles were produced together with needle-like -FeOOH and fine Fe3O4 ones in the systems both with l-Phe and CI, though the system only with CI was not essentially changed the particle shape. CI produced the characteristic large ellipsoidal particle accompanying the production of peptides by condensing l-Phe. This behavior was explained by the adsorption of peptides on β-FeOOH and polynuclear (PN) particles; the adsorption of peptides retarded the phase transformation from β-FeOOH to hematite along with the heterogeneous aggregation of PNs, resulting the large ellipsoidal hematite particles. CI reduced Fe3+ to Fe2+ ions during aging the solution. The decomposition of urea, by-products of peptide formation, produced two kinds of amines to raise the solution pH and provided -FeOOH and Fe3O4 particles. The large ellipsoidal hematite particles exhibited large specific surface area and high mesoporosity by adsorption of peptides onto PN particles within the hematite particles. The morphology and inner structure of hematite particles were exceedingly altered by using a reaction of peptide production and this procedure is expected for a new developing method of high-quality porous materials.  相似文献

1,2,3-Triazole-3-oxoisoindoline-1-carboxamide system was successfully synthesized by using a combination of Ugi and click reactions. This two-step, one-pot synthesis was started by the reaction of 2-formyl benzoic acid, propargyl amine, and cyclohexyl isocyanide in ethanol. The resultant Ugi adduct underwent a copper-catalyzed click reaction, producing the desired products in good yields.  相似文献

An arsine-mediated Wittig reaction for the synthesis of olefins is described. After heating triphenylarsine in the presence of an activated alkyl bromide for 30 min, the resulting arsonium salt condensed with aldehydes in as little as 5 min at room temperature, yielding the olefins in high yields. Aromatic, heteroaromatic, and alkyl aldehydes were all suitable substrates for this process.  相似文献

A one-step, multicomponent Mannich-type reaction between phenols, paraformaldehyde, and β-aminoalcohols in the presence of LiCl afforded N-2-hydroxybenzyloxazolidines with high ortho-selectivity. Hydrolytic or reductive ring opening of the oxazolidines provided a series of N-salicyl-β-aminoalcohols in 84-92% overall yield. The synthesized compounds were evaluated as ligands for a titanium-catalyzed catalytic asymmetric Strecker reaction. The reaction employing 10 mol % of catalyst provided the Strecker products in excellent yields and up to 98% ee.  相似文献

A novel one-pot-synthesis of highly substituted indol-2-ones using a combination of Ugi and Heck reaction (U-4CR-Heck) is described. The synthesized indol-2-ones represent an interesting pharmacological scaffold with four potential points of diversity. A Grignard reaction of reactantA and phenyl magnesium chloride is used to make a pharmaceutical intermediate at the production scale. The elimination of protecting groups onA was proposed as a means to reduce synthesis costs. This new synthesis route, however, had process efficiency and safety issues associated with it: (1) build-up of unreactedA in the reactor, (2) influence ofA's particle size on the reaction rate, (3) the sensitivity of the reaction rate to the reaction temperature and to the (changing) solvent composition, and (4) the highly exothermic nature of the reaction.The Mettler RC1 Reaction Calorimeter was used to quantify the influence of solvent composition, temperature, and particle size on the reaction rate. Results indicated a dramatic effect of solvent composition and reaction temperature on the reaction rate; for example, over a temperature range of just 30°C, the reaction time decreased from more than a day to just a few minutes. At such high reaction rates, the vessel jacket could not remove the reaction heat sufficiently and the internal temperature rose adiabatically.These results were used to make process design and operation recommendations for safe and efficient plant operation with this modified Grignard reaction system.The authors would like to thank the following for their assistance in this work: E. A novel palladium catalyst supported on shell powder has been prepared, and its application to the Heck reaction of aryl iodides with olefins has been reported. The results showed that the novel catalyst had extremely high activities for the reactions with the average yield over 90%. Also, this catalyst showed excellent stability in Heck reactions, being reused three times. The catalyst was characterized by X‐ray powder diffraction and field‐emission scanned electron microscopy images, and the energy dispersive X‐ray analyzer. Although periodate‐oxidized dextran is widely used in biomedical applications, the degradation mechanism of oxidized dextran has not yet been elucidated. Herein, we propose a novel main chain scission mechanism of oxidized dextran triggered by reaction with amine. NMR analysis revealed four hemiacetal substructures during oxidation by periodate. Kinetic analysis showed that the degradation time constant of the C3‐removed substructure and increasing time constant of the reducing end protons are consistent with the decrease in molecular weight determined by gel permeation chromatography. A methylene group is generated at the same time constant of degradation, indicating that oxidized dextran degradation proceeds via a Maillard reaction. Oxidized dextran does not degrade in saline solution without reactive amine species. Thus, we conclude that oxidized dextran is degraded in the main chain via Schiff base formation through a Maillard reaction, depending on the oxidation ratio and amino acid concentration. These findings help to elucidate the reaction mechanism of polysaccharide degradation and develop novel biodegradable polysaccharide materials for biomedical applications. © 2016 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A novel 4-anilinoquinazoline dimer linked by a carbon-carbon bond in the C-7 position was synthesized via a one step Suzuki cross-coupling reaction. All structures of new compounds were characterized by 1H NMR, 13C NMR, and HRMS. The inhibition rate of the synthetic 4-anilinoquinazoline dimer 8 against epidermal growth factor receptor-tyrosine kinase enzymes (EGFR) in vitro was 44.4% at the concentration of 5.5 μmol/L.  相似文献

The conditions under which the Picker flow microcalorimeter can be used to measure enthalpies and rates of reactions were investigated. For this purpose, systematic studies were made of the enthalpies of neutralization of HCl, HBr, HNO 3 , acetic, proprionic, and butyric acids with NaOH, enthalpies of hydrolysis of methyl and ethyl acetate with NaOH, and the reaction rates of the ester hydrolysis with NaOH. The general procedure and various sources of error are discussed and it is concluded that enthalpies of slow reactions can be measured to about 1% when the calorimeter is operated in the quasi-isothermal mode and the reaction rates to about 3% when operated in the quasi-adiabatic mode.On leave from Laboratoire de Thermodynamique et de Cinétique Chimique, Université de Clermont 2, Aubière 63170, France.  相似文献
