The alpha-C-H bonds of 3-methyl-2-butanone, 3-pentanone, and 2-methyl-3-pentanone were activated on the sulfur center of the disulfide-bridged ruthenium dinuclear complex [(RuCl(P(OCH3)3)2)2(mu-S2)(mu-Cl)2] (1) in the presence of AgX (X = PF6, SbF6) with concomitant formation of C-S bonds to give the corresponding ketonated complexes [(Ru(CH3CN)2(P(OCH3)3)2)(mu-SSCHR1COR2)(Ru(CH3CN)3(P(OCH3)3)2)]X3 ([5](PF6)3, R1 = H, R2 = CH(CH3)2, X = PF6; [6](PF6)3, R1 = CH3, R2 = CH2CH3, X = PF6; [7](SbF6)3, R1 = CH3, R2 = CH(CH3)2, X = SbF6). For unsymmetric ketones, the primary or the secondary carbon of the alpha-C-H bond, rather than the tertiary carbon, is preferentially bound to one of the two bridging sulfur atoms. The alpha-C-H bond of the cyclic ketone cyclohexanone was cleaved to give the complex [(Ru(CH3CN)2(P(OCH3)3)2)(mu-SS-1- cyclohexanon-2-yl)(Ru(CH3CN)3(P(OCH3)3)2)](SbF6)3 ([8](SbF6)3). And the reactions of acetophenone and p-methoxyacetophenone, respectively, with the chloride-free complex [(Ru(CH3CN)3(P(OCH3)3)2)2(mu-S2)]4+ (3) gave [(Ru(CH3CN)2(P(OCH3)3)2)(mu-SSCH2COAr)(Ru(CH3CN)3(P(OCH3)3)2)](CF3SO3)3 ([9](CF3SO3)3, Ar = Ph; [10](CF3SO3)3, Ar = p-CH3OC6H4). The relative reactivities of a primary and a secondary C-H bond were clearly observed in the reaction of butanone with complex 3, which gave a mixture of two complexes, i.e., [(Ru(CH3CN)2(P(OCH3)3)20(mu-SSCH2COCH2CH3)(Ru(CH3CN)3(P(OCH3)3)2)](CF3SO3)3 ([11](CF3SO3)3) and [(Ru(CH3CN)2(P(OCH3)3)2)(mu-SSCHCH3COCH3)(Ru(CH3CN)3(P(OCH3)2)](CF3SO3)3 ([12](CF3SO3)3), in a molar ratio of 1:1.8. Complex 12 was converted to 11 at room temperature if the reaction time was prolonged. The relative reactivities of the alpha-C-H bonds of the ketones were deduced to be in the order 2 degrees > 1 degree > 3 degrees, on the basis of the consideration of contributions from both electronic and steric effects. Additionally, the C-S bonds in the ketonated complexes were found to be cleaved easily by protonation at room temperature. The mechanism for the formation of the ketonated disulfide-bridged ruthenium dinuclear complexes is as follows: initial coordination of the oxygen atom of the carbonyl group to the ruthenium center, followed by addition of an alpha-C-H bond to the disulfide bridging ligand, having S=S double-bond character, to form a C-S-S-H moiety, and finally completion of the reaction by deprotonation of the S-H bond.  相似文献

An efficient one-pot synthesis of 2-amino-1,3,4-thiadiazoles from easily available aldehydes and thiosemicarbazide using TBHP as an oxidant has been described. Notably, these reactions were carried out at room temperature using ethanol as solvent. This is the first example for one-pot synthesis of 2-amino-1,3,4-thiadiazole derivatives from aldehydes. This new synthetic methodology provides a simple procedure utilizing a safer oxidizing system that affords the target products in mild reaction condition with satisfactory yields and wide substrate scope.  相似文献

A procedure was developed for the preparation of beta-monobromo-tetraphenylporphyrin (BrTPP) in a greatly improved yield from the selective bromination of tetraphenylporphyrin (TPP) by NBS. BrTPP was successfully employed as a versatile synthon for convenient synthesis of a wide range of beta-monofunctionalized porphyrins with various heteroatom functionalities via palladium-mediated carbon-heteroatom bond formations. Examples include beta-amino, -amido, -oxo, and -mercaptoporphyrins from reactions with amines, amides, alcohols, and thiols, respectively. Applying the synthetic approach to chiral amides, beta-chiral porphyrins were effectively constructed.  相似文献

Iron was used as the catalyst for the direct C-H functionalization/C-S bond formation under mild conditions. Various substrates could afford benzothiazoles in moderate to excellent yields. A general, efficient, and more practical protocol for the base-mediated intermolecular or intramolecular S-arylation leading to the 2-aminobenzothiazole derivatives is reported. The one-electron oxidation of metal thiolates results in an increased oxidation state of the metal ion or the formation of a sulfur-based, thiyl radical in limiting extremes. For complexes with highly covalent M-S bonds, the unpaired electron may be delocalized over the metal and the sulfur, yielding a metal-stabilized thiyl radical. Oxidation of the metal thiolate precursors [Ru(DPPBT)(3)](-), [Ru-1](-), and Re(DPPBT)(3), Re-1 (DPPBT = diphenylphosphinobenzenethiolate), generates metal-stabilized thiyl radicals that react with alkenes to yield dithioether-metal products. Alkene addition to [Ru-1](+) and [Re-1](+) is symmetry-allowed due to the meridional arrangement of the DPPBT chelates. Combined bulk electrolysis and cyclic voltammetry experiments reveal the addition of alkenes to [Ru-1](+) as an irreversible process with experimentally determined rate constants ranging from 4.6(5) × 10(7) M(-1) s(-1) for electron-rich alkenes to 2.7(2) × 10(4) M(-1) s(-1) for electron-poor alkenes. Rate constants for cyclic alkenes range from 4(2) × 10(7) to 2.9(3) × 10(3) M(-1) s(-1). Chemical oxidation of [Ru-1](-) by ferrocenium hexafluorophosphate (FcPF(6)) in the presence of m-methylstyrene or p-methylstyrene yields the dithioether complexes [Ru-1·m-methylstyrene](+) and [Ru-1·p-methylstyrene](+), respectively. Each complex was crystallized and the structure determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. (31)P NMR of the samples reveals a major and minor product, each displaying a second-order spectrum. The oxidized intermediate [Re-1](+) binds alkenes reversibly with equilibrium binding constants that vary with the complex charge from 1.9 × 10(-11) M(-1) for n = 0 to 4.0 M(-1) for n = +1 to 2.5 × 10(9) M(-1) for n = +2. The three binding regimes are separated by 240 mV. Crystalline samples of [Re-1·C(2)H(4)](2+) are obtained upon chemical oxidation of Re-1 with silver hexafluorophosphate (AgPF(6)) in the presence of ethylene. Strategies for the addition of alkenes to other metal-stabilized thiyl radicals are suggested.  相似文献

Catalytic synthesis of 2-substituted benzothiazoles from thiobenzanilides was achieved in the presence of a palladium catalyst through C-H functionalization/C-S bond formation. This method features the use of a novel catalytic system consisting of 10 mol % of Pd(II), 50 mol % of Cu(I), and 2 equiv of Bu4NBr that produced variously substituted benzothiazoles in high yields with good functional group tolerance.  相似文献

N-Heterocyclic carbenes (NHCs) are known to be useful ligands for palladium-complex catalysis. It was found that [(NHC)Pd(PPh3)Cl2] is an effective pre-catalyst in Pd-catalyzed C-S cross coupling reactions to produce the functionalized sulfides in excellent yields. The turn over frequency (TOF) for the coupling of p-CH3C6H4Br with p-CH3C6H4SH reaches to 6.25 (mol of product) (mole of catalyst)−1 h−1.  相似文献

Copper- and palladium-catalyzed intramolecular C-S bond formation by cross-coupling between an aryl halide and thiourea functionality is demonstrated for the synthesis of 2-aminobenzothiazoles, wherein the Cu-catalyzed protocol is generally superior and more cost effective than the Pd-catalyzed protocol; the Cu-catalyzed reaction also further expands recent studies exploring the utility of Cu salts as replacements for Pd in carbon-heteroatom bond-forming reactions. A one-pot variant combining the synthesis of the thiourea and the cyclization was also demonstrated.  相似文献

A novel C-S bond formation reaction took place, when a lithium phenolate derivative was treated with a disulfide-bridged dicopper(I) complex or a bis(micro-thiolato)dicopper(II) complex under very mild conditions. The reaction has been suggested to proceed via a disulfide-bridged (micro-phenoxo)dicopper(I) complex as the common reaction intermediate. Copper(II) complexes of the modified ligands containing a thioether group (products of the C-S bond formation reaction) have been isolated and structurally characterized by X-ray analysis as model compounds of the active site of galactose oxidase. Mechanism of the C-S bond formation reaction is also discussed in relation to the biosynthetic mechanism of the organic cofactor Tyr-Cys of galactose oxidase.  相似文献

In the presence of a catalytic amount of RhH(PPh3)4 (2 mol %) and 1,1'-bis(diphenylphosphino)ferrocene (dppf) (3 mol %), silylacetylenes reacted with dialkyl disulfides giving 1-alkylthio-2-trialkylsilylethynes in high yields. Alkanethiols liberated in this reaction did not interfere with the reaction, and the addition to silylacetylene forming 1-alkylthio-1-alkenes could be minimized under the conditions. Alkylacetylenes and arylacetylenes also reacted with disulfides when the alkyl or aryl groups were bulky. Diaryl disulfides gave arylthio derivatives under slightly modified conditions. The C-S bond-forming reaction is reversible: A reaction of a thiol and a 1-alkylthio-1-alkyne in the presence of the rhodium catalyst gave a 1-alkyne; alkylthio exchange reaction proceeded between a 1-alkylthio-1-alkyne and a disulfide. This is an equilibrating oxidative reaction of organic molecules with C-H and S-S bond metathesis forming C-S and S-H bonds.  相似文献

We reveal here a visible-light promoted phosphorylation of 2-isocyanoaryl thioethers for the first time with concomitant C(sp3)-S bond cleavage and imidoyl C–S formation. Additionally, this method features the use of 3 mol% organic dye Rose Bengal as the photocatalyst without external transition-metal or peroxide oxidants, and provides a novel and environmentally friendly approach for the preparation of a variety of 2-phosphoryl benzothiazoles in moderate to good yields.  相似文献

The electrophilic cyclization of substituted propargylic aryl ethers by I2, ICl, and PhSeBr produces 3,4-disubstituted 2H-benzopyrans in excellent yields. This methodology results in vinylic halides or selenides under mild reaction conditions and tolerates a variety of functional groups, including methoxy, alcohol, aldehyde, and nitro groups.  相似文献
