The interaction of 2,4,6-triphenylpyrylium cation with p-sulfonatocalix[4]arene is studied using absorption, emission, NMR and electrochemical techniques. The increase in the absorption is observed with the increase in the concentration of p-sulfonatocalix[4]arene. The emission intensity of 2,4,6-triphenylpyrylium cation is also enhanced in the presence of p-sulfonatocalix[4]arene. The electrochemical titration reveals the presence of host–guest interaction. The NMR analysis explains the upper rim interaction of 2,4,6-triphenypyrylium cation with p-sulfonatocalix[4]arene. The mode of binding is studied using computational methods. The quantum chemical simulations reveal the binding orientation of cationic TPP with p-SC4. The calculated complexation energy (??33.19 kcal mol?1) indicates the strong binding nature of 2,4,6-triphenylpyrylium cation with p-sulfonatocalix[4]arene.  相似文献

Co(III) sarcophagine-type cage molecules, [Co(diCLsar)](3+) or [Co(HONOsar)](3+), form either 1 : 1 or 1 : 2 host-guest inclusion complexes with mono-phosphonium cations and sodium p-sulfonatocalix[4]arene in the solid state yielding complex I [p-sulfonatocalix[4]arene·Co(diCLsar)·2{benzyltriphenylphosphonium}], complex II [2{p-sulfonatocalix[4]arene}·Co(diCLsar)·3{tetraphenylphosphonium}] and complex III [p-sulfonatocalix[4]arene·Co(HONOsar)·tetraphenylphosphonium]. The diversity of the structural types of these multi-component systems, including the orientation of the Co(III) molecules in the cavities of the calixarenes, depends on the nature of their terminal functional groups. The secondary coordination interactions binding between the Co(III) molecules and p-sulfonatocalix[4]arene have also been investigated in water using NMR techniques.  相似文献

Lanthanide triflates have been used to incorporate NdIII and SmIII ions into the 2.2.2‐cryptand ligand (crypt) to explore their reductive chemistry. The Ln(OTf)3 complexes (Ln=Nd, Sm; OTf=SO3CF3) react with crypt in THF to form the THF‐soluble complexes [LnIII(crypt)(OTf)2][OTf] with two triflates bound to the metal encapsulated in the crypt. Reduction of these LnIII‐in‐crypt complexes using KC8 in THF forms the neutral LnII‐in‐crypt triflate complexes [LnII(crypt)(OTf)2]. DFT calculations on [NdII(crypt)]2+], the first NdII cryptand complex, assign a 4f4 electron configuration to this ion.  相似文献

本文研究了穴醚[2,2,2]和穴醚[2,2]在硝基甲烷中对镉的萃取行为。探讨了溶剂、穴醚浓度,碱浓度,无机酸浓度,盐效应及共存离子对镉萃取的影响。实验结果表明,硝基甲烷ε=35.6,μ=3.4德拜宜作为穴醚的溶剂。当穴醚[2,2,2]——硝基甲烷的浓度为2×10~(-3)M,Me_4NOH浓度为4×10~(-2)M时对镉的萃取最为有利。无机酸的引入使穴醚质子化程度加大,盐效应对镉的萃取无明显影响。十八种共存离子对镉萃取无干扰,因而选择性高。实验结果为用穴醚[2,2,2]萃取镉提供了依据。  相似文献

The binding behaviors and thermodynamic origins of p-sulfonatocalix[4]arene (C4AS) and p-sulfonatocalix[5]arene (C5AS) with methyl viologen (MV2+) have been investigated by the methods of isothermal titration calorimetry, NMR, and cyclic voltammetry, showing that the binding abilities of C4AS and C5AS and their host selectivity are dramatically pH-controlled, which is closely discussed from the viewpoint of thermodynamics. Moreover, the radical form of MV+* can also be effectively included by C4AS and C5AS.  相似文献

The synthesis and characterization of two bimetallic, cationic low‐valent gallium–cryptand[2.2.2] complexes is reported. The reaction of cryptand[2.2.2] with Ga2Cl4 gave two different cations, [Ga3Cl4(crypt‐222)]+ ( 1 ) or [Ga2Cl2(crypt‐222)]2+ ( 2 ), depending on whether or not trimethylsilyl triflate (Me3SiOTf) was added as a co‐reagent. Complexes 1 and 2 are the first examples of bimetallic cryptand[2.2.2] complexes, as well as the first low‐valent gallium–cryptand[2.2.2] complexes. Computational methods were used to evaluate the bonding in the gallium cores.  相似文献

The inclusion complexes of norfloxacin (NFX) with p-sulfonatocalix[n]arenes (SCXn) were studied. The characteristics of host–guest (HG) complexation between p-sulfonatocalix[n]arenes with NFX were investigated by fluorescence spectroscopy, nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy, fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). Stoichiometry and association constants (K) of the inclusion complexes were determined by the non-linear fitting method. An interesting 1:1 stochiometric of HG complexes were formed at different pH values (pH = 3.00, 6.00, 8.00) The inclusion mode of NFX with p-sulfonatocalix[n]arenes was confirmed by NMR spectroscopy.  相似文献

Diffusion-ordered (1)H NMR spectroscopy techniques have been used to determine the binding strength of p-sulfonatocalix[4]arene (SO(3)[4]) towards a number of charged crown ether species in aqueous conditions. For several (doubly) charged (di)azacrown ethers, all were bound by SO(3)[4] either well or very well with binding constants between 5.1 x 10(2)-9.9 x 10(5) M(-1). These results correlate with, and thus explain the phenomenon of rapid capture of azacrown ethers in molecular capsules based on p-sulfonatocalix[4]arene and lanthanide metals. Similarly, the formation of "Russian doll" superanions in the solution phase is also elucidated. These superanions have been shown to selectively crystallise particular polynuclear aquated metal ions from mixtures in the aqueous phase. Neutral [18]crown-6 is not bound by p-sulfonatocalix[4]arene and displays a binding constant of 0 M(-1). When sodium [18]crown-6 is examined in a similar fashion, binding by SO(3)[4] is observed in solution with K(a) approximately 3.1 x 10(3) M(-1).  相似文献

A new working principle for detecting inorganic cation binding by water-soluble calix[4]arenes involves the displacement of a fluorescent azoalkane as guest. Fluorescence regeneration is observed for various metal ions, and binding of monovalent cations (alkali and ammonium) to p-sulfonatocalix[4]arene is detected and quantified for the first time.  相似文献

Lanthanide triflates have been used to incorporate NdIII and SmIII ions into the 2.2.2-cryptand ligand (crypt) to explore their reductive chemistry. The Ln(OTf)3 complexes (Ln=Nd, Sm; OTf=SO3CF3) react with crypt in THF to form the THF-soluble complexes [LnIII(crypt)(OTf)2][OTf] with two triflates bound to the metal encapsulated in the crypt. Reduction of these LnIII-in-crypt complexes using KC8 in THF forms the neutral LnII-in-crypt triflate complexes [LnII(crypt)(OTf)2]. Enzyme-responsive, amphiphilic self-assembly represents one of the increasingly significant topics in biomaterials research and finds feasible applications to the controlled release of therapeutic agents at specific sites where the target enzyme is located. The supramolecular approach, using "superamphiphiles", provides a smart way to fabricate drug delivery systems responsive to enzymatic catalysis. In this work based on the concept of supramolecular chemistry, we report an enzyme-responsive vesicle using p-sulfonatocalix[4]arene as the macrocyclic host and natural enzyme-cleavable myristoylcholine as the guest molecule. The complexation of p-sulfonatocalix[4]arene with myristoylcholine directs the formation of a supramolecular binary vesicle, which is dissipated by cholinesterase with high specificity and efficiency. Cholinesterase is a key protein overexpressed in Alzheimer's disease, and therefore, the present system may have potential for the delivery of Alzheimer's disease drugs.  相似文献

Reactions of a range of the readily prepared and sterically tunable N,N'-bis(aryl)formamidines with lanthanoid metals and bis(pentafluorophenyl)mercury (Hg(C6F5)2) in THF have given an extensive series of tris(formamidinato)lanthanoid(III) complexes, [Ln(Form)3(thf)n], namely [La(o-TolForm)3(thf)2], [Er(o-TolForm)3(thf)], [La(XylForm)3(thf)], [Sm(XylForm)3], [Ln(MesForm)3] (Ln=La, Nd, Sm and Yb), [Ln(EtForm)3] (Ln=La, Nd, Sm, Ho and Yb), and [Ln(o-PhPhForm)3] (Ln=La, Nd, Sm and Er). [For an explanation of the N,N'-bis(aryl)formamidinate abbreviations used see Scheme 1.] Analogous attempts to prepare [Yb(o-TolForm)3] by this method invariably yielded [{Yb(o-TolForm)2(mu-OH)(thf)}2], but [Yb(o-TolForm)3] was isolated from a metathesis synthesis. X-ray crystal structures show exclusively N,N'-chelation of the Form ligands and a gradation in coordination number with Ln3+ size and with Form ligand bulk. The largest ligands, MesForm, EtForm and o-PhPhForm give solely homoleptic complexes, the first two being six-coordinate, the last having an eta1-pi-Ar--Ln interaction. Reaction of lanthanoid elements and Hg(C6F5)2 with the still bulkier DippFormH in THF resulted in C--F activation and formation of [Ln(DippForm)2F(thf)] (Ln=La, Ce, Nd, Sm and Tm) complexes, and o-HC6F4O(CH2)4DippForm in which the formamidine is functionalised by a ring-opened THF that has trapped tetrafluorobenzyne. Analogous reactions between Ln metals, Hg(o-HC6F4)2 and DippFormH yielded [Ln(DippForm)2F(thf)] (Ln=La, Sm and Nd) and 3,4,5-F3C6H2O(CH2)4DippForm. X-ray crystal structures of the heteroleptic fluorides show six-coordinate monomers with two chelating DippForm ligands and cisoid fluoride and THF ligands in a trigonal prismatic array. The organometallic species [Ln(DippForm)2(C[triple chemical bond]CPh)(thf)] (Ln=Nd or Sm) are obtained from reaction of Nd metal, bis(phenylethynyl)mercury (Hg(C[triple chemical bond]CPh)2) and DippFormH, and the oxidation of [Sm(DippForm)2(thf)2] with Hg(C[triple chemical bond]CPh)2, respectively. The monomeric, six-coordinate, cisoid [Ln(DippForm)2(C[triple chemical bond]CPh)(thf)] complexes have trigonal prismatic geometries and rare (for Ln) terminal C[triple chemical bond]CPh groups with contrasting Ln--C[triple chemical bond]C angles (Ln=Nd, 170.9(4) degrees; Ln=Sm, 142.9(7) degrees). Their formation lends support to the view that [Ln(DippForm)2F(thf)] complexes arise from oxidative formation and C--F activation of [Ln(DippForm)2(C6F5)] intermediates.  相似文献

The X-ray crystal structure of the p-sulfonatocalix[5]arene(5)(-) anion (1b) in the form of the dimeric hydrate Na(10)[p-sulfonatocalix[5]arene](2).33.5H(2)O (2) is reported. The reactions of 1b with a number of transition metal salts to form transition metal bridged bis(calixarene) inclusion complexes have also been investigated. The X-ray crystal structure of the "Co(H(2)O)(4)(2+)" bridged species Na(8)[Co(H(2)O)(4)(p-sulfonatocalix[5]arene)(2)].2CH(3)C(O)N(CH(3))(2).37H(2)O (3) which incorporates a "supercavity" large enough to encompass 2 N,N-dimethylacetamide (dma) guest molecules as well as ca. 15 water molecules and Na(+) ions is reported. Crystal data are as follows: for 2, monoclinic space group P2(1)/c, Z = 4, a = 22.0644(4), b = 19.1180(3), c = 27.7834(4) ?, beta = 91.780(1), V = 11714.1(5) ?(3); complex 3, orthorhombic space group Pnma, Z = 4, a = 22.2271(5), b = 30.1693(6), c = 18.8503(4) ?, V = 12640.6(5) ?(3).  相似文献

A series of cyano-bridged Ln(III)Ru(III)2 coordination polymers, Ph4P{Ln(NO3)2[Ru(acac)2(CN)2]2} [Ln = Tb (1), Dy (2), Er (3), Gd (4); Hacac = acetylacetone] have been synthesized by the reaction of Ln(NO3)3 with trans-Ph4P[Ru(acac)2(CN)2] in methanol. X-ray crystallographic determination reveals that these compounds are isostructural and have a wavy (4,4) layer structure with the Ln3+ ions bridged by trans-[Ru(acac)2(CN)2]-. Magnetic studies shows that the magnetic coupling between the Ln(III) and Ru(III) ions through the cyano bridges in 1-4 is negligibly weak.  相似文献

Reaction of polymeric gold(I) acetylide species (bpyC[triple bond]CAu)n (bpyC[triple bond]CH = 5-ethynyl-2,2'-bipyridine) with diphosphine ligands Ph2P(CH2)nPPh2 (n = 2-6) or 1,1'-bis(diphenylphosphino)-ferrocene (dppf) in dichloromethane induces isolation of binuclear gold(I) complexes (bpyC[triple bond]CAu)2{mu-Ph2P(CH2)nPPh2} or (bpyC[triple bond]CAu)2(mu-dppf). Complexation of Ln(hfac)3 (hfac = hexafluoroacetylacetonate, Ln = Nd, Eu, Er, Yb) subunits to the binuclear gold(I) complexes through 2,2'-bipyridyl chelation gives the corresponding Au4Ln4 or Au2Ln2 heteropolynuclear complexes. Noticeably, upon formation of the Au4Ln4 arrays by complexation of (bpyC[triple bond]CAu)2(mu-Ph2P(CH2)4PPh2) (3) with Ln(hfac)3 units, trans-conformation in 3 transforms dramatically to the cis-arranged form due to the strong driving force from ligand-unsupported Au-Au contacts between two Au2Ln2 subunits. In contrast, cis-conformation in (bpyC[triple bond]CAu)2(mu-dppf) (6) stabilized by Au-Au interactions is reversed to the trans-oriented form upon formation of Au2Ln2 arrays by introducing Ln(hfac)3 units through 2,2-bipyridyl chelation. The binuclear gold(I) complexes show bright blue luminescence featured by ligand-centered pi --> pi* (C[triple bond]Cbpy) states together with low-energy emission at 500-540 nm, associated with 3(pi-->pi*) excited states, mixed probably with some characteristic from (Au-Au) --> (C[triple bond]Cbpy) 3MMLCT transition. For Au4Ln4 or Au2Ln2 complexes, sensitized lanthanide luminescence is achieved by energy transfer from Au-acetylide chromophores with lifetimes in the sub-millisecond range for EuIII complexes, whereas in the microsecond range for near-infrared emitting NdIII, ErIII, and YbIII species.  相似文献

Treatment of [Ln(BH 4) 3(THF) 3] (Ln = Ce, Nd) with 3 and 4 mol equiv of KSBT in tetrahydrofuran (THF) led to the formation of [Ln(SBT) 3(THF)] and [K(THF)Ln(SBT) 4], respectively. The uranium(IV) compound [U(SBT) 4(THF) 2] was obtained from U(BH 4) 4 and was reversibly reduced by sodium amalgam into the corresponding anionic uranium(III) complex. The crystal structures of [Ln(SBT) 3(THF) 2] (Ln = Ce, Nd), [K(15-crown-5) 2][Nd(SBT) 4], [U(SBT) 4(THF)], and [K(15-crown-5) 2][U(SBT) 4(py)] show the bidentate coordination mode and the thionate character of the SBT ligand.  相似文献
