We present a simple method to realize a swap gate at one step with two molecular ensembles in a stripline cavity. In this scheme, we can benefit from the enhancement of the coherent coupling and acquire a long coherent time with encoding qubits in different spin states of the rotational ground state in the molecular ensembles. As a by-product, a scheme to create an entangled state with one excitation stored in two ensembles is proposed. 相似文献

A cavity quantum electrodynamics scheme for implementing the deterministic quantum information splitting of an arbitrary three-atom state is proposed. In the scheme, a genuine five-atom entangled state and a Bell-state can be used as the quantum channel, which does not involve Bell-state measurement and only needs to perform the single-atom measurements. We propose two schemes for implementing a two-atom quantum iswap gate via cavity QED. In the first scheme, only one cavity and two classical fields are used to realizing iswap gate and thus reducing the operating time. The second scheme needs three cavities for atom-cavity interaction and single-qubit rotations without the assistant of the auxiliary level. Our schemes can effectively reduce the cavity decay owing to the reason that the cavity is only virtually excited during the interaction process between atoms and the cavity. The first quantum private comparison(QPC) protocol via cavity quantum electrodynamics(QED) is proposed in this paper by making full use of the evolution law of atom via cavity QED, where the third party(TP) is allowed to misbehave on his own but cannot conspire with either of the two users. The proposed protocol adopts two-atom product states rather than entangled states as the initial quantum resource, and only needs single-atom measurements for two users. Both the unitary operations and the quantum entanglement swapping operation are not necessary for the proposed protocol. The proposed protocol can compare the equality of one bit from each user in each round comparison with one two-atom product state. The proposed protocol can resist both the outside attack and the participant attack.Particularly, it can prevent TP from knowing two users' secrets. Furthermore, the qubit efficiency of the proposed protocol is as high as 50%. 相似文献

In the framework of off-shell quantum electrodynamics—the quantum field theory of a covariant symplectic mechanics, in which events evolve according to a Poincaré-invariant parameter —we study the low-energy scattering of identical scalar particles. It is shown that exchange of mass is permitted in the formalism, and we calculate scattering cross-sections for this case. In these cross-sections, the usual forward pole of the standard scalar QED splits into two poles and a zero, slightly offset from the forward direction. As mass exchange vanishes, a pole-zero pair cancel, the remaining pole moves to = 0, and the standard cross-section is recovered. 相似文献

下载免费PDF全文 We propose a feasible scheme to achieve universal quantum gate operations in decoherence-free subspace with superconducting charge qubits placed in a microwave cavity. Single-logic-qubit gates can be realized with cavity assisted interaction, which possesses the advantages of unconventional geometric gate operation. The two-logic- qubit controlled-phase gate between subsystems can be constructed with the help of a variable electrostatic transformer. The collective decoherence can be successfully avoided in our well-designed system. Moreover, GHZ state for logical qubits can also be easily produced in this system. 相似文献

A quantum field theoretical treatment of electromagnetic fields in solid is presented. The photon propagator is obtained when the current-current correlation function is given. From the relations among matrix elements which are a consequence of the local gauge invariance of the theory, the classical Maxwell equations are derived by means of the boson transformation which is the mathematical realization of a boson condensation. The relativistic “no pair” model of quantum electrodynamics uses the Dirac operator, D(A) for the electron dynamics together with the usual self-energy of the quantized ultraviolet cutoff electromagnetic field
A– in the Coulomb gauge. There are no positrons because the electron wave functions are constrained to lie in the positive
spectral subspace of some Dirac operator, D, but the model is defined for any number, N, of electrons, and hence describes a true many-body system. In addition to the electrons there are a number, K, of fixed nuclei with charges ≤Z. If the fields are not quantized but are classical, it was shown earlier that such a model is always unstable (the ground
state energy E=−∞) if one uses the customary D(0) to define the electron space, but is stable (E > − const.(N+K)) if one uses D(A) itself (provided the fine structure constant α and Z are not too large). This result is extended to quantized fields here, and stability is proved for α= 1/137 and Z≤ 42. This formulation of QED is somewhat unusual because it means that the electron Hilbert space is inextricably linked
to the photon Fock space. But such a linkage appears to better describe the real world of photons and electrons.

We propose a scheme to implement a two-qubit conditional quantum phase gate via a single mode cavity and a cascade four-level atom assisted by a classical laser. The quantum information is encoded on the Fock states of the cavity mode and the two metastable ground states of the atom.
