A subgroup H is called Q-supplemented in a finite group G, if there exists a subgroup K of G such that G = HK and H ∩ K is contained in H QG , where H QG is the maximal quasinormal subgroup of G contained in H. In this article, we investigate the influence of Q-supplementation of some primary subgroups in finite groups. Some recent results are generalized.  相似文献

LetQ be a subgroup of the locally compact groupG. Q is called a topologically quasinormal subgroup ofG, ifQ is closed and for each closed subgroupA ofG. We prove: If the compact elements ofG form a proper subgroup, compact topologically quasinormal subgroups ofG are subnormal of defect 2. IfG is connected, compact topologically quasinormal subgroups ofG are normal. IfG/G 0 is compact, connected topologically quasinormal subgroups ofG are normal.  相似文献

The location of quasinormal subgroups in a group is not particularly well known. Maximal ones always have to be normal, but little has been proved about the minimal ones. In finite groups, the difficulties arise in the p-groups. Here we prove that, for every odd prime p, a quasinormal subgroup of order p 2 in a finite p-group G contains a quasinormal subgroup of G of order p. S. A closed subgroupQ of a topological groupG is called topologically quasinormal (tqn) inG if holds for every closed subgroupA ofG. We show that every tqn subgroup of a connected locally compact group is actually a normal subgroup. Besides we prove: a homogeneous spaceG/H of a connected Lie groupG with the property that every non-trivial one-parameter orbit is dense has dimension at most one.  相似文献

Consider some finite group G and a finite subgroup H of G. Say that H is c-quasinormal in G if G has a quasinormal subgroup T such that HT = G and TH is quasinormal in G. Given a noncyclic Sylow subgroup P of G, we fix some subgroup D such that 1 < |D| < | P| and study the structure of G under the assumption that all subgroups H of P of the same order as D, having no supersolvable supplement in G, are c-quasinormal in G.  相似文献

A subgroup H of a finite group G is quasinormal in G if it permutes with every subgroup of G. A subgroup H of a finite group G is \(\mathfrak {F}_{hq}\)-supplemented in G if G has a quasinormal subgroup N such that HN is a Hall subgroup of G and \((H\cap N)H_{G}/ H_{G} \le Z_{\mathfrak {F}}(G/H_{G})\), where \(H_{G}\) is the core of H in G and \({Z}_{\mathfrak {F}} (G/H_{G})\) is the \(\mathfrak {F}\)-hypercenter of \({G/H}_{G}\). This paper concerns the structure of a finite group G under the assumption that some subgroups of G are \(\mathfrak {F}_{hq}\)-supplemented in G.  相似文献

Suppose that H is a subgroup of a finite group G. H is called π-quasinormal in G if it permutes with every Sylow subgroup of G; H is called π-quasinormally embedded in G provided every Sylow subgroup of H is a Sylow subgroup of some π-quasinormal subgroup of G; H is called c-supplemented in G if there exists a subgroup N of G such that G = HN and HNH G = Core G (H). In this paper, finite groups G satisfying the condition that some kinds of subgroups of G are either π-quasinormally embedded or c-supplemented in G, are investigated, and theorems which unify some recent results are given.   相似文献

Let G be a finite group and H ≤ G. The subgroup H is called: S-permutable in G if HP = PH for all Sylow subgroups P of G; S-permutably embedded in G if each Sylow subgroup of H is also a Sylow subgroup of some S-permutable subgroup of G.

Let H be a subgroup of a group G. Then we say that H is SQ-supplemented in G if G has a subgroup T and an S-permutably embedded subgroup C ≤ H such that HT = G and TH ≤ C.

We study the structure of G under the assumption that some subgroups of G are SQ-supplemented in G. Some known results are generalized.  相似文献

Let G be a finite group. A subgroup H of G is called an ?-subgroup in G if N G (H) ∩ H x  ≤ H for all x ∈ G. A subgroup H of G is called weakly ?-subgroup in G if there exists a normal subgroup K of G such that G = HK and HK is an ?-subgroup in G. In this article, we investigate the structure of the finite group G under the assumption that all maximal subgroups of every Sylow subgroup of some normal subgroup of G are weakly ?-subgroups in G. Some recent results are extended and generalized.  相似文献

A subgroup A of a finite group G is called {1≤G}-embedded in G if for each two subgroups KH of G, where K is a maximal subgroup of H, A either covers the pair (K,H) or avoids it. Moreover, a subgroup H of G is called nearly m-embedded in G if G has a subgroup T and a {1≤G}-embedded subgroup C such that G?=?HT and HTCH. In this paper, we mainly prove that G is solvable if and only if its Sylow 3-subgroups, Sylow 5-subgroups and Sylow 7-subgroups are nearly m-embedded in G.  相似文献

A subgroup H of a group G is said to be g-s-supplemented in G if there exists a subgroup K of G such that HKG and HKH sG , where HsG is the largest s-permutable subgroup of G contained in H. By using this new concept, we establish some new criteria for a group G to be soluble.  相似文献

A subgroup H of a group G is said to be M-supplemented in G if there exists a subgroup B of G such that G = HB and T B < G for every maximal sub-group T of H. Moreover, a subgroup H is called c-supplemented in G if there exists a subgroup K such that G = HK and HKH G where H G is the largest normal subgroup of G contained in H. In this paper we give some conditions of supersolv-ability of finite group under assumption that some primary subgroups have some kinds of supplements, which are generalizations of some recent results.  相似文献

A subgroup of a group G is said to be Sylow-quasinormal (S-quasinormal) in G if it permutes with every Sylow subgroup of G. A subgroup H of a group G is said to be Supplement-Sylow-quasinormal (SS-quasinormal) in G if there is a supplement B of H to G such that H is permutable with every Sylow subgroup of B. In this article, we investigate the influence of SS-quasinormal of maximal or minimal subgroups of Sylow subgroups of the generalized Fitting subgroup of a finite group.  相似文献

A subgroup H of a finite group G is said to be c-supplemented in G if there exists a subgroup K of G such that G = HK and HK is contained in H G , where H G is the largest normal subgroup of G contained in H. In this article, we prove that G is solvable if every subgroup of prime odd order of G is c-supplemented in G. Moreover, we prove that G is solvable if and only if every Sylow subgroup of odd order of G is c-supplemented in G. These results improve and extend the classical results of Hall's articles of (1937) and the recent results of Ballester-Bolinches and Guo's article of (1999), Ballester-Bolinches et al.'s article of (2000), and Asaad and Ramadan's article of (2008).  相似文献

A subgroup of a group G is said to be S-quasinormal in G if it permutes with every Sylow subgroup of G. A subgroup H of a group G is said to be S-quasinormally embedded in G if every Sylow subgroup of H is a Sylow subgroup of some S-quasinormal subgroup of G. In this article, we investigate the structure of the finite group G under the assumption that certain abelian subgroups of prime power order are S-quasinormally embedded in G and lie in the generlized hypercenter of G.  相似文献

A subgroup H is called ?-supplemented in a finite group G, if there exists a subgroup B of G such that G = HB and H 1 B is a proper subgroup of G for any maximal subgroup H 1 of H. In this article, we investigate the influence of ?-supplementation of some primary subgroups in finite groups. Some new results about supersolvable groups and formation are obtained.  相似文献

Let G be an arbitrary Abelian group. A subgroup A of G is said to be quasi-purifiable in G if there exists a pure subgroup H of G containing A such that A is almost-dense in H and H/A is torsion. Such a subgroup H is called a “quasi-pure hull” of A in G. We prove that if G is an Abelian group whose maximal torsion subgroup is torsion-complete, then all subgroups A are quasi-purifiable in G and all maximal quasi-pure hulls of A are isomorphic. Every subgroup A of a torsion-complete p-primary group G is contained in a minimal direct summand of G that is a minimal pure torsion-complete subgroup containing A. An Abelian group G is said to be an “ADE decomposable group” if there exist an ADE subgroup K of G and a subgroup T′ of T(G) such that G = KT′. An Abelian group whose maximal torsion subgroup is torsion-complete is ADE decomposable. Hence direct products of cyclic groups are ADE decomposable groups.  相似文献

Let G be a finite group. A subgroup H of a group G is said to be c-supplemented in G if there exists a subgroup K of G such that G = HK and H ∩ K ≤ H G , where H G  = Core G (H) is the largest normal subgroup of G contained in H. In this article, we investigate the structure of a finite group G under the assumption that subgroups of prime order are c-supplemented in G. Moreover, we analyze the structure of a group G when the minimal subgroups of the generalized Fitting subgroup F?(G) of G are c-supplemented in G through the theory of formations.  相似文献

We say that a subgroup H of a finite group G is solitary (respectively, normal solitary) when it is a subgroup (respectively, normal subgroup) of G such that no other subgroup (respectively, normal subgroup) of G is isomorphic to H. A normal subgroup N of a group G is said to be quotient solitary when no other normal subgroup K of G gives a quotient isomorphic to G/N. We show some new results about lattice properties of these subgroups and their relation with classes of groups and present examples showing a negative answer to some questions about these subgroups.  相似文献
