The yrast spectra of 78-82Kr are studied by using the projected shell model (PSM) approach. The energy states are obtained by taking oblate as well as prolate quadrupole deformations for 78-82Kr. The structure of yrast states and backbending phenomena are investigated. The theoretical results predict low-lying states in 78, 82Kr to be oblate and coexistence of oblate-prolate shapes for 80Kr. The B(E2) transition probabilities and g-factors are obtained and compared with the available experimental data.  相似文献

We have measured production cross-sections of the new neutron-rich isotopes58Ti,61V,63Cr,66Mn,69Fe,71Co and neighbouring isotopes that have been identified as projectile fragments from reactions between a 500 MeV/u86Kr beam and a beryllium target. The isotope identification was performed with the zero-degree magnetic spectrometer FRS at GSI, using in addition time-of-flight and energy-loss measurements. The experimental production cross-sections for the new nuclides and neighbouring isotopes are compared with an empirical parametrization. The resulting prospects for reaching even more neutron-rich isotopes, such as the doubly-magic nuclide78Ni, are discussed.This work is part of the Ph.D. Thesis of M. Weber  相似文献

The structure of Kr has been investigated via the 78Kr(d, p)79 Kr reaction using an isotopically enriched gas target and an 11.0 MeV vector-polarized deuteron beam. Differential cross sections, σ, and vector analyzing powers, Ay, have been measured from 25° to 95° for 10 proton groups below 2.5 MeV excitation energy. Comparisons of these distributions to DWBA calculations and empirical shapes were made to extract spectroscopic factors and values of spin and parity for these states.  相似文献

The level scheme of78Kr has been studied with the techniques of γ ray spectroscopy: decay spectra of78Rb produced by the reactions64Zn(16O,pn) and65Cu(16O,3n) have been measured; in-beam γγ coincidences have been taken during the irradiation of64Zn with16O ions; and an angular distribution measurement of γ rays from the reaction64Ni(16O, 2n)78Kr has been performed. Fifteen excited states in78Kr have been observed and spins have been proposed for most of these levels. A78Rb decay with a half-life of 17.5 ± 2 min has been found in addition to the previously known 6.0 ±0.2 min decay.  相似文献

The excited states of the 78, 80, 81Kr and 80, 81, 83Rb nuclei were investigated in radio-active decays of the respective Rb and Sr isotopes. The level schemes were established and for a number of levels the spin-parity assignments suggested on the basis of the log ft values and γ-branching ratios, as well as in some cases angular-correlation results. The structures of excited states of the odd Kr, odd Rb, and doubly even Kr isotopes are compared and discussed in the framework of existing theoretical approaches.  相似文献

Following a fully self-consistent cranked Hartree-Fock-Bogoliubov (CHFB) approach with a pairing+quadrupole+hexadecapole model interaction Hamiltonian the structure of the yrast states of76,78Kr nuclei is studied up to angular momentumJ = 24. Evolution of the shape with spin, and rotation alignment of proton as well as neutron 0g9/2 orbitals is investigated along with the inter and intra-nucleus variations of theg factors as a function ofJ. 用熔合蒸发反应 58Ni(2 3Na,3p) (Ein=70 Me V)和 58Ni(2 8Si,α4p) (Ein=1 30 Me V)研究了78Kr的高自旋态 ,用美国劳伦斯伯克利国家实验室的γ球测量了实验中产生的瞬时符合事件,对新发现的一个负宇称带用多普勒位移衰减法对 1 0 0 4 ke V(1 0 -→ 8-)和 873ke V(8-→ 6-)作了多普勒展宽谱线形状测量 .得到了负宇称带 1 0 -态能级的寿命τ=(2 .2± 0 .3) ps,8-态能级的寿命τ=(1 .6± 0 .2 ) ps.故可知此负宇称带呈现长椭形变 ,与正宇称带的扁椭形变形状共存. Doppler shift attenuation lifetime measurements were performed in the 58 Ni( 23 Na,3p) reaction at 70 MeV and 58 Ni( 28 Si, α4p) reaction at 130 MeV. By analyzing the Doppler broadened line shapes of the 1 004 keV(10 -→8 -) negative parity transition in coincidence with depopulating transitions, the lifetime of the 10 - state has been deduced as τ =(2.2±0.3) ps. A similar analysis of 873 keV(8 -→6 -)transition gave values of τ =(1.6±0.2)...  相似文献

Yields of Kr and Xe isotopes in photofission of 232Th, 238U, 237Np, 244Pu, 243Am, and 248Cm were tested for isoscaling dependence. Isoscaling for Kr is revealed. For Xe, isoscaling is found to be affected by the STI and STII fission modes governed by the N = 82 and N = 88 neutron shells. A technique to search for 2K capture of 78Kr with a large low-background proportional counter filled with a sample of krypton enriched in 78Kr up to 99.8% at a pressure of 4.51 atm is described in this paper. The results of first measurements are presented. An analysis of data collected for 159 h yielded a new limit to the half-life of 78Kr with regard to 2K capture (T 1/2 ≥ 1.5 × 1021 yr (90% C.L.)). The sensitivity of the facility to the process for one year of measurement was evaluated to be S = 1.0 × 1022 yr (90% C.L.). The text was submitted by the authors in English.  相似文献

We study the oblate–prolate shape mixing in the low-lying states of proton-rich Kr isotopes using the five-dimensional quadrupole collective Hamiltonian. The collective Hamiltonian is derived microscopically by means of the CHFB (constrained Hartree–Fock–Bogoliubov) + Local QRPA (quasiparticle random phase approximation) method, which we have developed recently on the basis of the adiabatic self-consistent collective coordinate method. The results of the numerical calculation show the importance of large-amplitude collective vibrations in the triaxial shape degree of freedom and rotational effects on the oblate–prolate shape mixing dynamics in the low-lying states of these isotopes.  相似文献

The yields of Kr (A = 87–93) and Xe (A = 138–143) primary fission fragments produced in 232Th, 238U, and 244Pu photofission upon the scission of a target nucleus and neutron emission were measured in an experiment with bremsstrahlung from electrons accelerated to 25 MeV by a microtron, and the results of these measurements are presented. The experimental procedure used involved the transportation of fragments that escaped from the target by a gas flow through a capillary and the condensation of Kr and Xe inert gases in a cryostat at liquid-nitrogen temperature. The fragments of all other elements were retained with a filter at the capillary inlet. The isotopes of Kr and Xe were identified by the γ spectra of their daughter products. The mass-number distributions of the independent yields of Kr and Xe isotopes are obtained and compared with similar data on fission induced by thermal and fast neutrons; the shifts of the fragment charges with respect to the undistorted charge distribution are determined. Prospects for using photofission fragments in studying the structure of highly neutron-rich nuclei are discussed.  相似文献

At the projectile-fragment separator FRS of GSI, relativistic secondary beams of about 520 MeV/nucleon were produced by fragmentation of a primary beam of58Ni at 650 MeV/nucleon in a beryllium target. By means of aE—B—TOF measurement, the fragments were identified and their charge-changing probabilities in targets of (CH2) n , C, Al, and Pb placed at the exit of the FRS were determined. Whereas a first article dealt with the total charge-changing cross sections, we describe in this second article the element distributions of these secondary fragments, which are found to depend strongly on the isospin of the secondary projectile as well as on the target material. In the case of the lead target, the influence of the electromagnetic dissociation is clearly visible in the one-proton and two-proton removal channels. The preference for the formation of even-Z fragments is much more pronounced for exotic secondary projectiles than for projectiles close to stability. Calculations with a geometrical abrasion-ablation model allow to understand the global features of the experimental data. At the projectile-fragment separator FRS of GSI, relativistic secondary beams of about 520 MeV/nucleon were produced by fragmentation of a primary beam of58Ni at 650 MeV/nucleon in a beryllium target. By means of aΔE—Bρ—TOF measurement, the fragments have been identified and their charge-changing probabilities in targets of CH2, C, Al, and Pb have been determined. We describe the results for the total charge-changing cross sections in this first paper, whereas a second article deals with the partial charge-changing cross sections. At the drip line, the measured charge-changing cross sections exhaust close to 100% of the total interaction cross sections as calculated with semiempirical models. The measurements at the proton drip line with low-Z targets indicate that only a very small increase of the cross sections may be observed, whereas the measurements with a lead target show that no significant increase of the total charge-changing cross sections is present which would be a hint for low-lying dipole strength. Our experimental data are compared to Glauber-type calculations.  相似文献

The mass of one of the three major waiting points in the astrophysical rp process 72Kr was measured for the first time with the Penning trap mass spectrometer ISOLTRAP. The measurement yielded a relative mass uncertainty of deltam/m=1.2x10(-7) (deltam=8 keV). (73,74)Kr, also needed for astrophysical calculations, were measured with more than 1 order of magnitude improved accuracy. We use the ISOLTRAP masses of 72-74Kr to reanalyze the role of 72Kr (T(1/2)=17.2 s) in the rp process during x-ray bursts and conclude that 72Kr is a strong waiting point delaying the burst duration with at least 80% of its beta-decay half-life.  相似文献
